wherein a terminal device initiating a WDS-wise connection is a slave AP in a WDS, the slave AP transmitting a WDS connection to the wireless access point; the slave AP executes Portal authentication connection before initiating WDS connection, and after finishing Portal authentication, the slave AP disconnects the connection with the wireless access point and sends an association request to the wireless access point in a WDS connection mode.

A terminal device, wherein the terminal device supports WDS, wherein the terminal device is a slave AP in the WDS, wherein the slave AP transmits a WDS connection to a wireless access point, wherein the slave AP performs a Portal authenticated connection before initiating the WDS connection, and wherein the terminal device comprises:
a second processor for processing instructions; and
a second memory for storing a plurality of instructions, the instructions adapted to be loaded and executed by a second processor; the plurality of instructions includes:
sending an association request to a wireless access point to realize association with the wireless access point;
sending a text request to a wireless access point;
when the wireless access point judges that the terminal equipment is connected in a WDS mode according to the text request and stores the identification information of the terminal equipment, the terminal equipment completes WDS connection with the wireless access point;
when the wireless access point judges that the terminal equipment is not connected in a WDS mode according to the text request, the terminal equipment receives resource locator address feedback obtained by redirection of the wireless access point; after the terminal equipment performs Portal authentication according to the feedback, the terminal equipment disconnects the connection with the wireless access point and sends an association request to the wireless access point in a WDS connection mode.
9. The terminal device of claim 8, wherein the terminal device sends a text request to the wireless access point in a non-WDS manner if it determines that the Portal authentication is not completed in the wireless access point.
