Fig. 1 shows a device schematic of a device 1 for providing guidance information about a wireless access point according to an aspect of the present application. Wherein the apparatus 1 comprises a first device 11 and the first device 12.
The first device 11 determines, according to first signal strength information of a target wireless access point detected by first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information; the second device 12 provides the guiding information to the first user equipment.
Specifically, the device 1 includes various intelligent terminals, such as a mobile intelligent device, various personal computers, a cloud server or a server cluster, and the like, and those skilled in the art should understand that the operation for providing guidance information about a wireless access point according to the present application may be performed in a user device, such as a mobile intelligent terminal; or in a network device, such as a cloud server or a server cluster; it may even be that part of the processing is done in the user equipment and another part of the processing is done in the corresponding network equipment, and thus the device 1 for providing the bootstrapping information on the wireless access point may comprise either the user equipment or the network equipment.
Here, preferably, in the respective embodiments, the device 1 corresponds to a network device, and at this time, for convenience of description, the device 1 and the network device may be used interchangeably.
Specifically, the first device 11 determines, according to first signal strength information of a target wireless access point detected by a first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information. Here, the network device acquires, from the first user device, first signal strength information of a target wireless access point currently detected by the first user device, where the first user device currently falls within a signal coverage area corresponding to the target wireless access point, and acquires, for example, by scanning, signal strength information of the target wireless access point currently corresponding to the first user device. At this time, the first user equipment may be connected or not connected to the target wireless access point. Then, the network device determines, based on the signal strength distribution information of the target wireless access point and the first signal strength information, guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point, so as to guide the first user equipment from a current area with weaker signal strength of the wireless access point to an area corresponding to second signal strength information with stronger signal strength.
Here, preferably, the signal strength distribution information includes signal strength information of the target wireless access point at a plurality of different locations. The signal strength information of the target wireless access point at different locations within its signal coverage area is different. One or more signal reference locations, such as latitude and longitude information, may be determined within the coverage area, with the same or different signal strength information corresponding to the target wireless access point at the signal reference location. Here, preferably, the signal reference position of the signal strength distribution information can represent the signal strength information of each area covered by the target wireless access point as comprehensively as possible; more preferably, the acquisition time information of each of the signal strength information in the signal strength distribution information is as close to the current as possible. Thereby ensuring the information accuracy of the signal intensity distribution information in the spatial dimension and the time dimension.
Then, the first device 11 determines the guiding information by comparing and analyzing signal strength with reference to the signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, wherein the second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in the area corresponding to the guiding information is higher than the first signal strength information. Here, preferably, the guidance information includes, but is not limited to, at least any one of: the guide information corresponds to an area; moving direction information on the guide information corresponding area; moving path information on the area corresponding to the guide information; and moving displacement information on the guide information corresponding region. Here, the area corresponding to the guidance information, that is, the area corresponding to the second signal strength information, may be determined by comparing specific signal strength numerical information. For example, a region having the largest signal strength may be directly determined as the guidance information corresponding region based on the signal strength distribution information; for another example, an area with a signal strength greater than the first signal strength information and closest to the current location of the first user equipment may be selected as the area corresponding to the guidance information, in combination with the current location information of the first user equipment. Further, based on the position relationship between the current position information of the first user equipment and the area corresponding to the guidance information, the corresponding movement path information or movement displacement information may be provided for the first user equipment, so as to help a user corresponding to the first user equipment to quickly and accurately move to the area corresponding to the guidance information based on the guidance information. In addition, in practical applications, when the distance between the current location information of the first user equipment and the guide information corresponding area is short, it is not necessary to provide detailed path and displacement information, but the user may be guided to the guide information corresponding area preferably by real-time indication of the moving direction information.
The second device 12 then provides the guiding information to the first user equipment. Here, the network device may determine and transmit the guidance information based on a guidance request of the first user device; or, when the first user equipment meets a trigger condition for providing guidance information, the network device actively sends the determined guidance information to the first user equipment based on the acquired first signal strength information of the target wireless access point corresponding to the first user equipment.
Furthermore, in another corresponding embodiment, the device 1 is preferably the first user equipment, and here, for convenience of description, the device 1 and the first user equipment may be used interchangeably.
Here, the first device 11 of the first user equipment determines the guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point based on the first signal strength information of the target wireless access point and the signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, which are currently scanned or otherwise detected, wherein the second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in the guidance information corresponding area is higher than the first signal strength information. Here, the signal strength distribution information may be from a network device corresponding to the first user equipment. Preferably, the signal strength distribution information comprises signal strength information of the target wireless access point at a plurality of different locations. The guidance information includes, but is not limited to, at least any one of: the guide information corresponds to an area; moving direction information on the guide information corresponding area; moving path information on the area corresponding to the guide information; information on the movement displacement of the guide information corresponding area, and the like. Then, the second device 12 will present the guidance information to the user corresponding to the first user equipment, for example, the guidance information is presented to the user on the equipment interface in a map information manner; as another example, the user may be prompted by the device voice for the specific content of the guidance information, etc.
Compared with the prior art, the method and the device for providing the guidance information for the first user equipment provide the corresponding guidance information for the first user equipment according to the first signal strength information and the signal strength distribution information of the target wireless access point corresponding to the first user equipment at present, and the guidance information can enable the first user equipment to move to an area corresponding to second signal strength information which is stronger than the first signal strength information. Here, the method and the device for providing the network access point can accurately indicate the strong signal area corresponding to the target wireless access point to the first user equipment based on the signal strength distribution information, and can effectively solve the problem that the networking experience of the first user equipment is poor when the signal strength of the corresponding target wireless connection network is weak based on the executable guidance information.
Preferably, the second device 12 provides the guiding information and a signal strength distribution map corresponding to the signal strength distribution information to the first user equipment, wherein the guiding information is superimposed on the signal strength distribution map.
In particular, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that, in this case, the second device 12 may belong to a corresponding network device or to a first user equipment. Here, the signal strength distribution information includes signal strength information of a plurality of different positions of the target wireless access point in the coverage area thereof, that is, the distribution information may be represented by a distribution of the one or more signal reference positions and corresponding signal strength information, that is, in the form of the signal strength distribution map, where the signal strength distribution map is preferably in the form of map information. Further, the guiding information may be superimposed on the signal strength distribution map, for example, may be loaded on map information corresponding to the signal strength distribution map, for example, the guiding information, for example, the moving path information, the moving displacement information, the moving direction information, and the like between the current position information of the first user equipment and the guiding information corresponding region may be superimposed on the map based on information dimensions such as position, direction, and the like on the map.
In a preferred embodiment, the first apparatus 11 determines, according to first signal strength information of a target wireless access point detected by a first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to a hotspot group to which the target wireless access point belongs, guidance information corresponding to the hotspot group, where second signal strength information of at least one wireless access point in the hotspot group in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information.
In particular, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that, in the present embodiment, the first apparatus 11 may belong to a corresponding network device or belong to a first user equipment. In practical applications, the target wireless access point may belong to a corresponding hotspot group, where the hotspot group includes a plurality of wireless access points, each of the wireless access points has the same or similar SSID (Service Set Identifier) information, and access information corresponding to each of the wireless access points in the hotspot group is consistent, for example, each of the wireless access points shares the same connection password information. Preferably, if the first user equipment can be currently and smoothly connected to the target wireless access point, the success rate of connecting the first user equipment to other wireless access points of the same hotspot group to which the target wireless access point belongs is also relatively high. Here, the signal strength distribution information includes signal strength distribution information of one or more wireless access points of the hotspot group, and further, preferably, the signal strength distribution information of each of the wireless access points includes signal strength information of the target wireless access point at one or more different locations. Here, based on the needs of practical applications, different methods may be adopted for determining the guidance information corresponding to the hotspot group: for example, a position with the maximum signal strength is selected from all selectable signal strength information of different positions corresponding to each wireless access point in the same group, such as all signal strength information of signal reference positions, as the area corresponding to the guiding information; for another example, a location which is closest to the first user equipment and has a signal strength greater than the first signal strength information is selected as the corresponding area of the guiding information from all selectable signal strength information of different locations corresponding to each wireless access point in the same group, such as all signal strength information of signal reference locations; for another example, another wireless access point in the same group closest to the current location of the first user equipment is selected, and then the area corresponding to the guidance information is determined in the selected wireless access point, for example, the area closest to the current location of the first user equipment is selected as the area corresponding to the second signal strength information, where the second signal strength information is greater than the current first signal strength information of the first user equipment. Further, based on the position relationship between the current position information of the first user equipment and the area corresponding to the guidance information, the corresponding movement path information, or movement displacement information, movement direction information, and the like may be provided for the first user equipment. It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the above-mentioned method for determining the guidance information is merely an example, and other existing or future methods for determining the guidance information may be applied to the present application, and are included in the scope of the present application and are incorporated by reference herein.
In this embodiment, in a preferred scenario that the target wireless access point corresponding to the first user equipment belongs to a corresponding hotspot group, the guidance information provided to the first user equipment may also guide the first user equipment from an area corresponding to the first signal strength information of the target wireless access point to the target wireless access point or an area corresponding to the second signal strength information corresponding to other wireless access points of the hotspot group, so that the first user equipment may receive a wireless access point signal with stronger signal strength in the area corresponding to the second signal strength information. Here, the wireless access point corresponding to the second signal strength information is expanded to the hotspot group corresponding to the target wireless access point, so that the selectable range of the wireless access point of the guidance information provided to the first user equipment is wider, the problem that the current network signal strength of the first user equipment is weak can be solved more efficiently, and the user experience is further optimized.
In a preferred embodiment, the first apparatus 11 includes a first unit (not shown) and a second unit (not shown), wherein the first unit determines a target area corresponding to a first user equipment according to first signal strength information of a target wireless access point detected by the first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, wherein second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in the target area is higher than the first signal strength information; and the second unit determines the guide information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to the target area.
In particular, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that, in the present implementation, the device 1 may correspond to a network device or a first user equipment. First, the first unit determines the target area having the corresponding signal strength higher than that of the first signal strength information, that is, the target area corresponding to the second signal strength information, based on the signal strength distribution information. Here, the target area may correspond to a specific location information, for example, a signal reference location in the signal strength distribution information; or, the second signal strength information is a region range including a plurality of positions corresponding to the second signal strength information. Then, the second unit determines, based on the target area, guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point, for example, the target area corresponds to an area corresponding to the guidance information; here, it is further preferable that the second unit determines guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to the current location information of the target area and the first user equipment. Specifically, based on the positional relationship between the current position information of the first user equipment and the target area, the movement direction information about the guidance information corresponding area, the movement path information about the guidance information corresponding area, the movement displacement information about the guidance information corresponding area, and the like may be determined. Here, the current location information of the first user equipment may be determined by a corresponding Positioning function in the first user equipment, such as a GPS (Global Positioning System) Positioning function.
In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus 1 further includes a third device (not shown), which determines signal strength distribution information corresponding to a target wireless access point according to the signal strength information about the target wireless access point detected by the second user equipment; the first device 11 determines, according to first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by the first user equipment and the signal strength distribution information, guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the device 1 is preferably a network device. Here, the device 1 acquires, from one or more second user equipments, signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by the second user equipment in real time. By means of the one or more pieces of signal strength information provided by the one or more pieces of second user equipment which are historically or currently connected with the target wireless access point, a mapping relationship can be established between each position in the coverage area of the target wireless access point and the signal strength information corresponding to the position. For example, one or more pieces of the signal strength information corresponding to the target wireless access point may be selected, and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point may be generated, where the signal strength distribution information includes each selected location and its corresponding signal strength information. For another example, on the basis of each piece of the signal strength information corresponding to the target wireless access point, a determination of a regional integrated signal strength is performed, for example, the signal strength distribution information is determined by each piece of the signal strength information of a plurality of first user equipments in one region, for example, an average value of each piece of the signal strength information, for example, a weight of each piece of the signal strength information is determined based on time information obtained by each piece of signal loudness, then the regional integrated signal strength is calculated, and then, the regional integrated signal strength and the corresponding region or one or more specific location information in the region are mapped to generate the signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point. Here, it is preferable that the specific signal strength and the corresponding location information in the signal strength distribution information can represent the signal strength information of each area covered by the target wireless access point as comprehensively as possible; more preferably, the acquisition time information of each of the signal strength information in the signal strength distribution information is as close to the current as possible. Thereby ensuring the information accuracy of the signal intensity distribution information in the spatial dimension and the time dimension. Further, preferably, the network device updates the signal strength distribution information periodically or aperiodically based on the signal strength information detected by the second user equipment, so as to ensure that the first user equipment can obtain guidance information with higher availability based on the accurate signal strength distribution information.
In this embodiment, the signal strength distribution information is determined based on signal strength information about a target wireless access point detected by the second user equipment. The signal strength distribution information can be generated or updated in real time through the historical or current signal strength information of one or more second user equipment, so that the signal strength distribution situation of the target wireless access point in different areas within the coverage area of the target wireless access point can be accurately reflected, and further, the first user equipment can obtain effective guiding information based on the signal strength distribution information to realize the optimization of the networking state of the first user equipment.
In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus 1 further comprises a fourth device (not shown), which monitors a change in a network connection status corresponding to the first user equipment; if the change of the network connection state meets the trigger condition for providing the guidance information, the first device 11 determines the guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by the first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the device 1 is preferably the first user equipment. At this time, the apparatus 1 and the first user equipment may be used interchangeably for convenience of description.
Here, the network connection status change monitored by the fourth apparatus may include signal strength of a current networking of the first user equipment, or signal stability of a wireless network corresponding to a currently connected wireless access point. If the change of the network connection state meets the triggering condition for providing the guidance information, the operation for providing the guidance information is triggered, that is, the first device 11 determines the guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to the first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by the first user equipment and the signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where the second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in the area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information. Here, preferably, the trigger condition includes at least any one of: the signal strength of the wireless access point currently connected with the first user equipment is smaller than a preset signal strength threshold value; and the connection state of the first user equipment which is currently connected with the wireless access point is unstable. Here, the currently connected wireless access point may be the target wireless access point, or may be another wireless access point other than the target access point. Here, preferably, the preset signal strength threshold may be set according to the current application requirement of the first user equipment, and more preferably, different applications may match different preset signal strength thresholds, for example, when the current user is accessing video or audio information, the threshold value of the preset signal strength threshold may be set higher.
Fig. 2 illustrates a flow diagram of a method for providing guidance information regarding a wireless access point in accordance with another aspect of the subject application. Wherein the method comprises step S21 and step S22.
In step S21, the device 1 determines guidance information corresponding to a target wireless access point according to first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by a first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information; in step S22, the device 1 provides the guiding information to the first user device.
Specifically, the device 1 includes various intelligent terminals, such as a mobile intelligent device, various personal computers, a cloud server or a server cluster, and the like, and those skilled in the art should understand that the operation for providing guidance information about a wireless access point according to the present application may be performed in a user device, such as a mobile intelligent terminal; or in a network device, such as a cloud server, a transit server, or a VPN server; it may even be that part of the processing is done in the user equipment and another part of the processing is done in the corresponding network equipment, and thus the device 1 for providing the bootstrapping information on the wireless access point may comprise either the user equipment or the network equipment.
Here, preferably, in the respective embodiments, the device 1 corresponds to a network device, and at this time, for convenience of description, the device 1 and the network device may be used interchangeably.
Specifically, in step S21, the network device determines guidance information corresponding to a target wireless access point according to first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by a first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information. Then, the network device determines, based on the signal strength distribution information of the target wireless access point and the first signal strength information, guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point, so as to guide the first user equipment from a current area where the signal strength of the wireless access point is weak to an area corresponding to second signal strength information where the signal strength is stronger.
Here, preferably, the signal strength distribution information includes signal strength information of the target wireless access point at a plurality of different locations. The signal strength information of the target wireless access point at different locations within its signal coverage area is different. One or more signal reference locations, such as latitude and longitude information, may be determined within the coverage area, and may correspond to the same or different signal strength information of the target wireless access point.
Then, the network device determines the guiding information by comparing and analyzing signal strength with reference to the signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, wherein the second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in the area corresponding to the guiding information is higher than the first signal strength information. Here, preferably, the guidance information includes, but is not limited to, at least any one of: the guide information corresponds to an area; moving direction information on the guide information corresponding area; moving path information on an area corresponding to the guide information; and moving displacement information on the guide information corresponding region.
Next, in step S22, the network device provides the guiding information to the first user equipment.
Here, in step S21, the first user equipment determines guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point based on first signal strength information of the target wireless access point and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, which are currently scanned or otherwise detected by the first user equipment, wherein second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in the guidance information corresponding area is higher than the first signal strength information. Here, the signal strength distribution information may be from a network device corresponding to the first user equipment. Preferably, the signal strength distribution information comprises signal strength information of the target wireless access point at a plurality of different locations. The guidance information includes, but is not limited to, at least any one of: the guide information corresponds to an area; moving direction information on the guide information corresponding area; moving path information on the area corresponding to the guide information; displacement information on the movement of the guide information corresponding area, and the like. Next, in step S22, the first user device may present the guidance information to a user corresponding to the first user device, for example, present the guidance information to the user on a device interface in a map information manner; as another example, the user may be prompted by the device voice for the specific content of the guidance information, etc.
Preferably, in step S22, the device 1 provides the guiding information and a signal strength distribution map corresponding to the signal strength distribution information to the first user equipment, wherein the guiding information is superimposed on the signal strength distribution map.
Specifically, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that, in this case, the step S22 may be performed by the network device or the first user equipment. Further, the guiding information may be superimposed on the signal strength distribution map, for example, may be loaded on map information corresponding to the signal strength distribution map, for example, based on information dimensions such as position and direction on a map, the guiding information is superimposed on the map, for example, the moving path information, the moving displacement information, the moving direction information, and the like between the current position information of the first user equipment and the area corresponding to the guiding information.
In a preferred embodiment, in step S21, the device 1 determines, according to first signal strength information of a target wireless access point detected by a first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to a hot spot group to which the target wireless access point belongs, guidance information corresponding to the hot spot group, where second signal strength information of at least one wireless access point in the hot spot group in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information.
Specifically, those skilled in the art should understand that, in this implementation, the step S21 may be executed by the network device or the first user equipment. In practical applications, the target wireless access point may belong to a corresponding hotspot group, where the hotspot group includes multiple wireless access points, and each of the wireless access points has the same or similar SSID (Service Set Identifier) information, and access information corresponding to each of the wireless access points in the hotspot group is consistent, for example, each of the wireless access points shares one same connection password information.
In a preferred embodiment, the step S21 includes a step S211 (not shown) and a step S212 (not shown). In step S211, the device 1 determines a target area corresponding to a first user equipment according to first signal strength information of a target wireless access point detected by the first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in the target area is higher than the first signal strength information; in step S212, the device 1 determines guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to the target area.
In particular, the method may be performed by the network device, or may be performed by the first user equipment. First, in step S211, the target area having the corresponding signal strength higher than that of the first signal strength information, that is, the target area corresponding to the second signal strength information is determined by the device 1 based on the signal strength distribution information. Here, the target area may correspond to a specific location information, for example, a signal reference location in the signal strength distribution information; or, the second signal strength information is a region range including a plurality of positions corresponding to the second signal strength information. Next, in step S212, the device 1 determines guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point based on the target area, for example, the target area corresponds to the guidance information corresponding area; here, further, preferably, the device 1 determines guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to the current location information of the target area and the first user equipment.
In a preferred embodiment, the method further includes step S23 (not shown), in step S23, the device 1 determines signal strength distribution information corresponding to a target wireless access point according to the signal strength information about the target wireless access point detected by the second user equipment; in step S21, the device 1 determines guidance information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by a first user equipment and the signal strength distribution information, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the step S23 is preferably executed in a network device. Here, it is preferable that the specific signal strength and the corresponding location information in the signal strength distribution information can represent the signal strength information of each area covered by the target wireless access point as comprehensively as possible; more preferably, the acquisition time information of each signal strength information in the signal strength distribution information is as close to the current as possible.
In a preferred embodiment, the method further includes step S24 (not shown), in step S24, the device 1 monitors the network connection status change corresponding to the first user equipment; in step S21, if the change of the network connection status satisfies a trigger condition for providing guidance information, the device 1 determines guidance information corresponding to a target wireless access point according to first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by a first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the step S24 is preferably executed in a network device. At this time, the apparatus 1 and the first user equipment may be used interchangeably for convenience of description.
Here, in step S24, the change in the network connection status monitored by the first user equipment may include the signal strength of the current networking of the first user equipment, or the signal stability of the wireless network corresponding to the currently connected wireless access point. If the change of the network connection status meets the triggering condition for providing guidance information, the operation for providing guidance information is triggered, that is, in step S21, the first user equipment determines guidance information corresponding to a target wireless access point according to first signal strength information of the target wireless access point detected by the first user equipment and signal strength distribution information corresponding to the target wireless access point, where second signal strength information of the target wireless access point in an area corresponding to the guidance information is higher than the first signal strength information. Here, preferably, the trigger condition includes at least any one of: the signal intensity of the wireless access point currently connected with the first user equipment is smaller than a preset signal intensity threshold value; and the connection state of the first user equipment which is currently connected with the wireless access point is unstable.
