Abstract

The invention provides a method, a device and a mobile terminal for controlling cell broadcast message receiving. The method comprises the following steps: detecting whether a cell broadcast message is pushed under a current resident network; when the cell broadcast message is pushed under the network which resides at present, judging whether the network which resides at present is a first network; not receiving the cell broadcast message pushed by the currently camped network when the currently camped network is not the first network, and receiving the cell broadcast message pushed by the currently camped network when the currently camped network is the first network; the first network is a network which is selected by a user and needs to receive the cell broadcast message. The invention can reduce the receiving frequency of the broadcast message of the commercial cell to a great extent; and simultaneously, the power consumption caused by the fact that the mobile terminal is in a receiving state for a long time can be reduced.

Technical Field

Background
The cell broadcast means that a message is actively pushed to a client mobile phone by an operator in a specific area, the cell broadcast message pushed to a user comprises real-time messages such as location information and weather forecast, and also comprises some commercial advertisement messages irrelevant to the user, for example, in many countries, some commercial advertisements can largely push the cell broadcast commercial advertisement messages to the user by means of a 3G/4G network, so that the user mobile phone can often receive the commercial advertisement messages irrelevant to the user or irrelevant to the user, and meanwhile, the mobile phone is in a receiving state for a long time, so that the power consumption of the mobile phone is higher.

Further, the apparatus further includes a deleting module 36, where the deleting module 36 is configured to delete the cell broadcast message that has been received under the first network when the currently camped network is monitored to be switched to a system broadcast message of a network other than the first network.
Therefore, the invention monitors whether the current resident network returns to the system broadcast message of the first network for receiving the cell broadcast message in real time, and pops up the prompt message after returning to the first network to inform the user that the cell broadcast message pushed by the first network is about to be received again. In addition, the invention monitors whether the current resident network leaves the system broadcast message of the first network for receiving the cell broadcast message in real time, and does not receive the cell broadcast message pushed under the first network after leaving the first network, and deletes the cell broadcast message received under the first network in time, thereby saving unnecessary power consumption of the terminal.
The detecting module 31, the judging module 32 and the processing module 33 may be located in a modem of the mobile terminal, and the monitoring module 34, the notifying module 35 and the deleting module 36 may be located in an application processor of the mobile terminal.
Further, the apparatus further includes a setting module 37, where the setting module 3 is configured to receive a first network that needs to receive the cell broadcast message and is selected by a user, and start a function of receiving the cell broadcast message pushed by the first network according to the first network that needs to receive the cell broadcast message and is selected by the user.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a mobile terminal which comprises the device for controlling the cell broadcast message receiving.

and popping up a prompt message for informing a user that the user is resident to the first network when the system broadcast message that the currently resident network is switched to the first network is monitored.
3. The method of claim 2, further comprising, after the receiving the cell broadcast message pushed by the currently camped network when the currently camped network is the first network:
monitoring system broadcast messages switched by a network;
deleting the cell broadcast message received under the first network when monitoring that the currently residing network is switched to the system broadcast message of other networks except the first network.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein before the determining whether the currently camped network is the first network when the pushing of the cell broadcast message under the currently camped network is detected, further comprising:
receiving a first network which is selected by a user and needs to receive a cell broadcast message;
and starting a function of receiving the cell broadcast message pushed by the first network according to the first network which is selected by the user and needs to receive the cell broadcast message.
