Detailed Description
The following detailed description of embodiments of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the present invention, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
Referring to fig. 1, the present invention provides a method of adding water to a sump of a dishwasher. The method includes detecting a water level in the water tank, thereby obtaining a current amount of water in the water tank in real time. There may be various methods of detecting the water level in the water tank, for example, but not limited to, a water level sensor may be provided on an inner wall of the water tank. The water level sensor may transmit an electrical signal, and thus may directly read data detected by the water level sensor.
The method also includes setting a quantity of water required for the program. The water amount required by the program corresponds to the washing program of the dishwasher, i.e. the water amount required for completing the washing program is the target water amount for adding water to the water tank. The amount of water required for the procedure is a set value, not an actual measurement value. The water quantity required by the program can be preset according to parameters such as the capacity of the dishwasher, the water spraying structure of a spray pipe of the dishwasher, the water spraying quantity and the like.
The method also includes setting a first display mode. The first display mode may cyclically display the amount of water required for the program and the current amount of water in the water tank. In this display mode, the user can read the amount of water required for the program and the current amount of water in the tank cyclically, so that the total amount of water required to complete the washing program and the amount of water filled in the tank at present can be visually seen. From these two values it is then possible to calculate how much water still needs to be added to the tank to complete the washing process. When the water quantity required by the program displayed in a circulating mode is equal to the current water quantity of the water tank, the water quantity in the water tank reaches the required water quantity, and the water tank finishes adding water. The method also includes setting a second display mode. It will be appreciated that the greater the difference, the more water that still needs to be added to the tank; the smaller the difference, the less water still needs to be added to the tank. By using the second display mode, the user does not need to calculate, and only has one reading, so that the judgment and the control are more concise.
The method further comprises selecting to use the first display mode, the second display mode, or the first display mode and the second display mode in a cycle during the water filling process of the water tank. That is, in the embodiment of the present invention, the user can arbitrarily select to use the first display mode reading, to use the second display mode reading, or to use the first display mode and the second display mode to cycle the reading according to his own reading habit. In the method of the invention, a washing program may be selected first, whereby the amount of water required for the program under the washing program is determined, and then the water addition process is started. Of course, the water adding process can be started first, and the washing program is selected after the water adding process is started. That is, in the first display mode, the amount of water required for the program and the current amount of water in the tank are displayed cyclically, and as the progress of water addition continues, the current amount of water in the tank gradually approaches the amount of water required for the program. When the two are equal, indicating that the addition of water has been completed, the wash can be started. At this point, the washing program corresponding to the amount of water required by the program can be started. In the second display mode, the difference value between the water amount required by the program and the current water amount of the water tank is displayed, and the difference value gradually becomes smaller until becoming zero as the water adding progress continues. At this time, the water is added, and the washing program corresponding to the water amount required by the program can be started to start washing.

The control program of the control module is prestored with the water amount required by the program. The water amount required by the program can be set according to the parameters of the capacity of the dishwasher, the water spraying structure of the spray pipe of the dishwasher, the water spraying amount and the like, and the water amount can be stored in the control program.
The water tank also comprises a display module which is electrically connected with the control module. The control module may transmit the data read from the water level detection module to the display module so that the display module can display the water filling progress of the water tank to a user in the first display mode and/or the second display mode. The first display mode and the second display mode are the display modes as described above, that is, the first display mode displays the water amount required by the program and the current water amount of the water tank in a circulating manner, and the second display mode displays the difference value between the water amount required by the program and the current water amount of the water tank. It will be appreciated that the display module is located at a convenient location for reading by a user. For example, but not limited to, the display module is disposed on a control panel of the water tank or dishwasher body, or at any convenient viewing location on the surface of the tank or dishwasher body.
Also, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the control module may control the display module to perform a first display mode, a second display mode, or a cycle of the first display mode and the second display mode during the water filling process of the water tank. That is, the user may autonomously select which way to read through active intervention of the content displayed by the display module by the control module.
Preferably, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the control module includes a display selection key. By operating the display selection key, the contents displayed by the display module can be switched. That is, the display module can be controlled by the control program of the control module by operating the display selection key to switch the display module between modes of executing the first display mode, the second display mode, or a cycle of the first display mode and the second display mode. The display selection key is provided for the user to operate, and thus may be provided on a control panel of the water tank or the dishwasher main body, or other convenient place for operation. That is, in the first display mode, when the amount of water required for the course and the current amount of water in the water tank are equal, it is described that the water addition has been completed and the washing can be started.
