如上所述一种明目中草药，优选的，还包括以下重量份的原料组分：女贞子8-17份、五味子8-15份和郁金3-10份。

效果验证：选取60名每天使用电脑的时长均在8-10h的白领(年龄均在25-30岁之间)作为实验者，将其平均分为六组；其中一组将本发明实施例1-5所制备得到的明目中药制剂装入眼罩中并敷在眼部上，作为实施例1-5；另一组将具有明目作用的珍珠明目滴眼液(市面上购买得到)按规定滴入眼部，作为对照组。在其余条件一致的情况下，对实验者的眼部症状(包括眼睛疲劳、酸痛干涩、分泌物和视物模糊)进行测试(测试数据：每组实验者中上述眼部症状得到有效缓解的实验者中占每组实验者总人数的百分比，单位为％)，经过20d的实验，测试结果见表1：

由表1可知，经过20天的实验治疗，实验组1-5中患有上述各个眼部症状的实验者占每组实验者总人数的百分比降至为10％或0％，即经过采用本发明的明目中药制剂后，每个实验组中至多有1人的眼部症状未得到缓解；而对照组中，患有上述各个眼部症状的实验者占每组实验者总人数的百分比为10-30％，即仍然至少有2个实验者的眼部症状未得到缓解。因此，可说明本发明的明目中药制剂具有有效缓解眼疲劳、促进明目的目的。
