Description

Clothes care appliance with closing valve
Technical Field
The invention relates to a clothing care appliance with a closure flap.
Background
In order to be able to maintain an appliance component, in particular a lye pump, which is arranged in an appliance interior chamber of a laundry care appliance, an appliance housing of a conventional laundry care appliance has a housing opening through which the appliance component can be accessed. In conventional laundry care appliances, the housing opening is closed by a closure flap which can be opened in order to be able to maintain the appliance components. In the case of an uncontrolled outflow of liquid, for example from an appliance component such as a lye pump, into the appliance interior, the liquid flowing out uncontrollably can penetrate into gaps on the appliance housing and flow out uncontrollably from the laundry care appliance on the underside, as a result of which damage can be caused in the placement chamber.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a clothing care appliance having a housing opening, wherein liquid can be controllably discharged through the housing opening.
This object is achieved by the invention. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the invention, the description and the figures.
According to one aspect, the object of the invention is achieved by a laundry care appliance having an appliance housing and a closure flap for closing a housing opening, wherein the appliance housing delimits an appliance interior space and has a housing opening, wherein the laundry care appliance has an adapter with a flap hinge for holding the closure flap on the appliance housing, wherein a gap is released between the adapter and the appliance housing when the closure flap is opened, wherein the laundry care appliance has a discharge element for discharging a liquid, wherein the discharge element is movably arranged on the adapter, wherein the discharge element can be moved from a first position, in which the discharge element rests on the adapter, into a second position, in which the discharge element is positioned on the gap, wherein the discharge element is designed to, in the second position, discharge the liquid from the appliance interior space through the housing opening into the laundry care appliance The outer region of the device is guided out in order to prevent liquid from penetrating into the gap when the closure flap is opened.
This achieves the technical advantage that an effective discharge of liquid from the interior of the appliance to the outer region of the laundry care appliance is achieved by the discharge element, whereby the discharged liquid can be prevented from penetrating into the gap between the adapter and the appliance housing.
In conventional laundry care appliances, a gap is formed between the adapter and the appliance housing when a closure flap, which closes a housing opening of the appliance housing, is opened. This gap is technically required for the installation space in order to be able to mount or dismount the closure flap on the adapter. When the closure flap is opened, the flap hinge is moved forward, as a result of which a gap is formed between the adapter and the device housing. In the case of an uncontrolled outflow of liquid, for example from an appliance component such as a lye pump, into the appliance interior, the liquid flowing out can penetrate into the gap on the front side of the laundry care appliance. Thereby, liquid may flow out of the laundry care appliance uncontrollably, which in some cases may cause damage in the placing chamber of the laundry care appliance.
The outlet element according to the invention thus enables an effective and controllable outlet of liquid from the interior of the appliance to the outer region of the laundry care appliance. The lead-out element is movably arranged on the adapter so as to be transferred between a first position and a second position. When the closure flap is opened, the gap between the adapter and the device housing is released and the guide-out element is transferred from the first position into the second position. In the second position, the discharge element is positioned on the gap such that the liquid flowing out of the interior of the appliance is effectively discharged through the housing opening to the outer region of the laundry care appliance by means of the discharge element. This prevents any ingress of the discharged liquid into the gap when the closure flap is opened.
The discharge element enables the liquid to be discharged into the outer region of the laundry care appliance, in particular onto the closure flap, thereby preventing the liquid from possibly penetrating into the gap. In particular, the lead-out element provides a low-cost solution with regard to materials, tools to be used and storage. Furthermore, an advantageous mounting and dismounting of the closure flap on the laundry care appliance is ensured.
A laundry care appliance is understood to be an appliance for laundry care, such as a washing machine or a laundry dryer. In particular, such a laundry care appliance is to be understood as a domestic laundry care appliance. Namely, a laundry care appliance which is used in the home-care category and which is treated with laundry of daily housekeeping quantity.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the closure flap is designed for moving the discharge element on the adapter, wherein the closure flap is designed for displacing the discharge element from the first position into the second position when the closure flap is open and for displacing the discharge element from the second position into the first position when the closure flap is closed.
This achieves the technical advantage that by closing the flap, it is possible to effectively control whether the outlet element rests against the adapter in the first position or is positioned in the second position over the gap between the adapter and the device housing. Since the gap between the adapter and the device housing is not released when the closure flap is closed, but only when the closure flap is open, the discharge element is moved when the closure flap is open in such a way that the discharge element is advantageously positioned on the gap in order to effectively discharge the liquid flowing out of the housing opening out of the gap.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the eccentric cam is arranged on the flap hinge and the discharge element has an operating strip, wherein the eccentric cam can be pressed against the operating strip when the closure flap is closed in order to transfer the discharge element from the second position into the first position.
This achieves the technical advantage that when the closure flap is closed, the eccentric cam on the flap hinge is effectively pressed against the actuating strip of the guide-out element, thereby moving the guide-out element on the adapter. The transition from the second position, which is present when the closure flap is open, into the first position, which is present when the closure flap is closed, can therefore be carried out by direct contact between the eccentric cam and the lead-out element.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the discharge element has a discharge surface, and the discharge element is designed to position the discharge surface on the gap with the closure flap open, in order to discharge liquid from the appliance interior chamber through the discharge surface to an outer region of the laundry care appliance and to prevent liquid from possibly penetrating into the gap between the adapter and the appliance housing.
The advantage is achieved in that the drainage surface is advantageously positioned on the gap in the second position when the closure flap is open, so that a fluid-effective guidance of the liquid flowing out of the interior of the appliance on the drainage surface of the outlet element is ensured. In particular, the drainage surface is positioned above the gap in order to prevent possible liquid ingress into the gap.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the drainage surface has a liquid drainage area, in particular a groove, wherein the liquid drainage area is designed to conduct liquid from the interior of the appliance onto a surface of the closure flap when the closure flap is open, in order to drain liquid from an outer region of the laundry care appliance.
This achieves the technical advantage that an effective, in particular channeled discharge of the liquid by the discharge element can be achieved by the liquid discharge region, in particular the groove. The liquid drainage region can in particular have a downwardly curved region or a groove which is designed to guide the liquid effectively through the drainage surface of the discharge element.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the discharge element has a spring element, wherein the spring element can be actuated by opening the closure flap in order to position the discharge element in the second position over the gap between the adapter and the appliance housing when the closure flap is open.
This achieves the technical advantage that the spring element is relaxed by the spring force when the closure flap is opened, as a result of which the spring element enables an effective positioning of the guide-out element over the gap between the adapter and the appliance housing, without the user of the laundry care appliance having to manually move the guide-out element over the adapter.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the guide-out element can be transferred from a first position, in which the spring element can be pressed with a spring force against the closure flap, when the closure flap is open, into a second position for relaxing the spring element, in order to position the guide-out element over a gap between the adapter and the appliance housing in the second position.
This achieves the technical advantage that, due to the relaxation of the spring element, the guide-out element can be moved from the first position into the second position when the closure flap is opened due to the spring force of the spring element. This ensures that the discharge element is spontaneously displaced into the second position when the closure flap is opened, without any manipulation by the user, thus automatically preventing any liquid from penetrating into the gap.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the spring element has a first spring arm and a second spring arm.
This achieves the technical advantage that a particularly effective, in particular particularly uniform tensioning and relaxation of the spring element is ensured by the first and second spring arms of the spring element.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the adapter has a first receiving opening for receiving the first spring arm and the adapter has a second receiving opening for receiving the second spring arm.
This achieves the technical advantage that the spring element can be particularly effectively stabilized on the adapter by the reception of the spring arm in the receiving opening.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the first and second spring arms can be fixed in the first and second receiving openings, respectively, by means of a snap-lock connection.
This achieves the technical advantage that the first and second spring arms can be particularly effectively fixed in the first and second receiving openings by means of a snap-lock connection. A particularly advantageous movement of the guide element between the first position and the second position can be ensured by a stable fixation of the spring arm.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the housing opening is arranged on the front side of the laundry care appliance, wherein the housing opening is arranged in particular in a lower region of the front side of the laundry care appliance.
This achieves the technical advantage that, when the laundry care appliance is placed, the housing opening arranged on the front side of the laundry care appliance can be particularly advantageously accessed, as a result of which the appliance components of the laundry care appliance can be easily maintained by the service staff.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the flap hinge comprises a rotary hinge, wherein the rotary hinge can be rotated about a fixed axis of rotation when the closure flap is operated.
This achieves the technical advantage that a particularly precise opening and closing of the closure flap is ensured by the rotary joint. In operation, the rotary joint can be rotated about a fixed axis of rotation, thereby ensuring that the closure flap has a small tolerance during opening and closing.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the closure flap has a locking element which can be introduced into a locking opening of the appliance housing in order to lock the closure flap on the housing opening in the closed state.
This achieves the technical advantage that an effective locking of the closed closure flap on the housing opening is ensured by the locking element which can be introduced into the locking opening, as a result of which an unintentional opening of the closure flap can be prevented.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the closure flap has a number of positioning elements that can be positioned on the circumference of the housing opening in order to position the closure flap centrally on the housing opening in the closed state.
This achieves the technical advantage that the positioning element ensures that the closure flap is positioned centrally on the housing opening when the closure flap is closed. The closure flap has in particular three positioning elements.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the adapter is configured as a circumferential ring which is arranged in the housing opening.
This achieves the technical advantage that the adapter can be positioned particularly effectively in the housing opening and that an advantageous connection to the flap hinge and the guide-out element can be ensured.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a generic laundry care appliance 100, for example a washing machine as an example of a laundry care appliance 100. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a detergent box 101 into which a laundry care agent, for example a detergent, can be injected. The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a door 103 through which the laundry care appliance 100 can be loaded with laundry. The laundry care appliance 100 has an appliance housing 105, by means of which an appliance interior, not shown in fig. 1, is delimited. The appliance housing 105 delimits an appliance interior chamber from an outer region 107 of the laundry care appliance 100.
On the front 109 of the laundry care appliance 100, a housing opening 113 is arranged near the underside 111 of the laundry care appliance 100, through which the appliance interior of the laundry care appliance 100 can be accessed. For example, when servicing a lye pump of a laundry care appliance, a servicer can access the appliance interior chamber of the laundry care appliance 100 through the housing opening 113. In order to keep the housing opening 113 closed during normal operation of the laundry care appliance 100, a closure flap 115 is arranged on the appliance housing 105, which is designed to close the housing opening 113, so that an unintentional outflow of liquid from the appliance interior can be prevented.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of the housing opening of a conventional laundry care appliance with an open closure flap. On the front 109 of the laundry care appliance 100, a housing opening 113 is arranged near the underside 111 of the laundry care appliance 100, through which the appliance interior of the laundry care appliance 100 can be accessed. A closure flap 115 is arranged on the appliance housing 105, which closure flap is configured to close the housing opening 113.
The household appliance 100 has an adapter 117 which is arranged inside the housing opening 113 in an appliance interior space 119 of the laundry care appliance 100. As is not shown in fig. 2, the adapter 117 is connected to the flap hinge 121. The flap hinge 121 is in particular designed as a rotary hinge which can be rotated about a fixed axis of rotation when the closure flap 115 is operated, as a result of which the opening mechanism of the closure flap 115 can be optimized. The flap hinge 121 is in turn connected to the closure flap 115 and enables the closure flap 115 to be arranged movably on the device housing 105 in order to close the housing opening 113 or to release the housing opening 113 if required. Fig. 2 shows the closure flap 115 open, whereby the housing opening 113 is released.
The closure flap 115 also has a locking element 123 which can be introduced into a locking opening, not shown in fig. 2, of the appliance housing 105 in order to lock the closure flap on the housing opening 113 in the closed state. The closure flap 115 also has a number of, in particular three, positioning elements 125, which can be positioned on the circumference of the housing opening 113 in order to position the closure flap 115 centrally on the housing opening 113 in the closed state.
In order to fit the closure flap 115 onto the housing opening 113 or to remove it, a gap 127 is present between the adapter 117 and the device housing 105. When liquid flows out uncontrollably, for example during pump maintenance of the lye pump of the laundry care appliance 100, liquid, in particular water or washing liquid, may flow through the gap 127 and may thus flow out uncontrollably from the laundry care appliance 100 on the front 109 of the laundry care appliance 100.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic view of the deriving element. In order to prevent water or washing liquid from flowing out of the housing opening 113 when the closure flap 115 of the laundry care appliance 100 is opened, a discharge element 129 is used in the laundry care appliance 100 of the invention. The discharge element 129 has a discharge surface 131 with a liquid discharge area 133, in order to discharge liquid, such as water or washing liquid, which flows out of the laundry care appliance 100, through the discharge surface 131 or through the liquid discharge area 133. The liquid drainage region 133 is in particular bent downward or formed as a trough and can effectively drain liquid out of the interior chamber 119 of the laundry care appliance 100 into the outer region 107 of the laundry care appliance 100.
The discharge element 129 also has an operating bar 135, against which an eccentric cam, not shown in fig. 3, of the closure flap 115 can be pressed in order to move the discharge element 129 on the adapter 117, not shown in fig. 3, of the laundry care appliance 100.
The guide-out element 129 further has a spring element 137 with a first spring arm 139 and a second spring arm 141, wherein the first and second spring arms 139, 141 are each received, in particular latched, in a first and second receiving opening, not shown in fig. 3, of the adapter 117 of the laundry care appliance 100. As is not shown in fig. 3, the spring force of the spring element 137, when the closure flap 115 is opened, enables the outlet element 129 to be moved, advantageously by the relaxing spring element 137, on the adapter 117 in order to transfer the outlet element 129 from the first position, which is not shown in fig. 3, into the second position.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic view of the housing opening of a laundry care appliance with an open closure flap and a lead-out element. On the front 109 of the laundry care appliance 100, a housing opening 113 is arranged near the underside 111 of the laundry care appliance 100, through which an appliance interior 119 of the laundry care appliance 100 can be accessed, wherein the housing opening 113 can be closed by the closure flap 115.
The household appliance 100 has an adapter 117 arranged in an appliance interior chamber 119 of the laundry care appliance 100 within the housing opening 113. As is not shown in fig. 2, the adapter 117 is connected to the flap hinge 121. The flap hinge 121 is in turn connected to the closure flap 115 and enables the closure flap 115 to be arranged movably on the device housing 105 in order to close the housing opening 113 or to release the housing opening 113 if required. Fig. 4 shows the closure flap 115 opened, whereby the housing opening 113 is released. Fig. 4 also shows a positioning element 125 of the closure flap 115.
In order to fit the closure flap 115 onto the housing opening 113 or to remove it, a gap 127 is present between the adapter 117 and the device housing 105, wherein the gap 127 is released by opening the closure flap 115. In the event of uncontrolled outflow of liquid, for example during pump maintenance of the lye pump of the laundry care appliance 100, the outflowing liquid may flow through the gap 127 and thus may flow uncontrollably out of the laundry care appliance 100 on the front 109 of the laundry care appliance 100.
In order to span this gap 127, the household appliance 100 has a lead-out element 129 which is fitted on the adapter 117. The discharge element 129 has a discharge surface 131 with a liquid discharge area 133, through which water or cleaning liquid flowing out of the housing opening 113 can flow out of the adapter 117 to the closure flap 115. The guide-out element 129 further has a spring element 137 with a first spring arm 139 and a second spring arm 141, wherein the first and second spring arms 139, 141 are each received, in particular latched, in a first and second receiving opening, not shown in fig. 4, of the adapter 117 of the laundry care appliance 100. Only the second spring arm 141 of the guide-out element 129 is shown in fig. 4.
The lead-out element 129 is received from the rear, in particular latched into an existing receiving opening of the adapter 117, and is shown in the extended position in fig. 4. In this extended position, in particular in the second position, the discharge element 129 is advantageously positioned on the gap 127 in order to prevent liquid from possibly penetrating into the gap 127 if the closure flap 115 is opened.
In this case, the sealing surface of the discharge element 129 can be pressed back against the spring stress of the spring element 137 due to the elastic properties of the spring element 137. For this purpose, an eccentric cam 143 is arranged on the flap hinge 121, which cam can be pressed against an operating bar 135 of the guide-out element 129 when the closure flap 115 is closed in order to move the guide-out element 129 backwards and thus to move the guide-out element 129 with the closure flap 115 closed from the second position (in which the guide-out element 129 is advantageously positioned on the gap 127) into the first position (in which the guide-out element 129 rests on the adapter 117).
When the closure flap 115 is opened again, the outlet element 129 is automatically moved outward by the pretensioning force of the spring element 137 and is again moved out of the first position into the second position, in which the outlet element 129 is advantageously positioned on the gap 127 when the closure flap 115 is opened, in order to guide the liquid from the adapter 117 onto the closure flap 115 via the drainage surface 131 of the outlet element 129.
The outlet element 129 according to the invention therefore ensures that the residual water from the pump is guided directly to the closure flap 115 and does not flow into the gap 127 on the front wall of the appliance. Slight and precise movements during the operation of the closure flap 115 are not limited by the spring element 137 or are also improved by slight pretensioning during the movement of the closure flap 115. In this case, a particularly cost-effective solution can be achieved by the choice of material, the choice of tool, the storage method and the type of assembly. In addition, easy assembly and disassembly of the closure flap 115 is possible.
All the features which are described in connection with the embodiments of the invention and which are shown can be provided in different combinations in the subject-matter of the invention in order to achieve their advantageous effects simultaneously.
The scope of protection of the invention is given by the claims and is not limited by the features set forth in the description or shown in the drawings.
