Abstract
A motorcycle frame comprises a main pipe unit, two side pipe units and a reinforcing unit. Each side pipe unit comprises a main side pipe connected with the main pipe unit and a secondary side pipe connected with the main side pipe. The reinforcing unit comprises a central reinforcing pipe connected with the main pipe unit and a first reinforcing pipe connected with the central reinforcing pipe. The central reinforcing pipe is provided with a first connecting end connected with the main pipe unit and a second connecting end connected with the first reinforcing pipe. By utilizing the design that the height of the second connecting end of the central reinforcing pipe relative to the ground is higher than that of the auxiliary side pipe relative to the ground, the space between the lower part of the first reinforcing pipe and the main side pipe of the side pipe unit can be fully applied, and the space utilization is improved.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a frame, and more particularly to a motorcycle frame.
Background
Referring to fig. 1, 2 and 3, a "scooter motorcycle frame" disclosed in chinese patent publication CN201291965 includes a head pipe 11, a main pipe unit 12 extending downward from the head pipe 11, two side pipes 13 respectively connected to both sides of the main pipe unit 12, and two reinforcing pipes 14 respectively connected to the side pipes 13.
The main pipe unit 12 has a main pipe 121 connected to the head pipe 11, and a connecting pipe 124 connected to one end of the main pipe 121 opposite to the head pipe 11 and having two opposite ends connected to the side pipes 13, respectively. Each side tube 13 has a lower extension 131 extending downward from the main tube 121, a horizontal section 132 extending substantially horizontally, and an upper extension 133 extending rearward and upward from the horizontal section 132. The two ends of the reinforcing tube 14 are connected to the lower extension 131 and the upper extension 133 of each side tube 13, respectively, and are substantially parallel to the horizontal section 132.
The main pipe 121 has a first connection end 122 connected to the head pipe 11, and a second connection end 123 opposite to the first connection end 122 and connected to the connection pipe 124. The two ends of the connecting tube 124 are respectively connected to the horizontal sections 132 of the side tubes 13.
Since the second connecting end 123 is lower than the reinforcing pipe 14, the space between the reinforcing pipe 14 and the horizontal section 132 of each side pipe 13 cannot be used to install the fuel tank 100 (only shown in fig. 3), and the fuel tank 100 must be reduced in size and installed between the main pipe 121 and the lower extension 131 of the side pipe 13, which results in a waste of space.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a motorcycle frame which can be used in a sufficient space.
Thus, the motorcycle frame of the present invention comprises a main pipe unit, two side pipe units respectively connected to the left and right sides of the main pipe unit, and a reinforcement unit connected to the main pipe unit.
Each side pipe unit comprises a main side pipe connected with the main pipe unit, and an auxiliary side pipe arranged on the main side pipe, wherein the main side pipe is provided with a lower extension section extending downwards from the main pipe unit, a straight section extending backwards from the lower extension section in a horizontal mode approximately, and an upper extension section extending backwards and upwards from the straight section, and two ends of the auxiliary side pipe are respectively connected with the lower extension section and the upper extension section and are spaced from the straight section.
The reinforcing unit comprises a central reinforcing pipe which is connected with the main pipe unit and extends downwards, and a first reinforcing pipe which is connected with one end of the central reinforcing pipe opposite to the main pipe unit. The central reinforcing pipe is provided with a first connecting end connected with the main pipe unit and a second connecting end opposite to the first connecting end and connected with the first reinforcing pipe, the two opposite ends of the first reinforcing pipe are connected with the main side pipe, and the height of the second connecting end of the central reinforcing pipe relative to the ground is higher than that of the auxiliary side pipe relative to the ground.
The motorcycle frame of the invention, wherein, the main pipe unit includes a head pipe, and a slot connecting mechanism for connecting the head pipe and the central reinforcing pipe, the side pipe units are connected to the left and right sides of the slot connecting mechanism, and the first connecting end of the central reinforcing pipe is connected to the head pipe.

The motorcycle frame further comprises an accommodating unit, wherein the accommodating unit comprises a hollow oil tank arranged in the installation space, and an oil inlet which is communicated with the oil tank and protrudes out of a lower extension section of a main side pipe of the side pipe unit and is arranged between a central reinforcing pipe of the reinforcing unit.
The motorcycle frame is characterized in that the first reinforcing pipe is a flat straight section which is approximately in an inverted U shape, and two opposite ends of the first reinforcing pipe are respectively connected with the main side pipe of the side pipe unit.
The motorcycle frame of the invention, wherein, the slot connecting mechanism of the main pipe unit comprises a body connected with the head pipe and a slot connecting piece connected with the body, the side pipe units are connected with the left side and the right side of the body, and the central reinforcing pipe is connected in the slot connecting piece.
In the motorcycle frame according to the present invention, the space between the lower side of the first reinforcing pipe and the straight section of the main side pipe of the side pipe unit can be fully utilized by the design that the height of the second connecting end of the central reinforcing pipe with respect to the ground is higher than the height of the auxiliary side pipe of the side pipe unit with respect to the ground, and the space utilization is improved.
In the motorcycle frame according to the present invention, the structural strength of the head pipe can be improved by connecting the head pipe and the central reinforcing pipe by the notching mechanism.
In the motorcycle frame according to the present invention, the two reinforcing members respectively connecting the sub side pipe of each side pipe unit and the first reinforcing pipe are used to enhance the bonding strength between the first reinforcing pipe and the sub side pipe.
In the motorcycle frame according to the present invention, the strength of the main side tube of the side tube unit can be improved and the fuel tank can be protected by the reinforcing plate connecting the straight sections of the main side tube of the side tube unit.
In the motorcycle frame according to the present invention, the hollow fuel tank is installed in the installation space with the oil inlet protruding between the lower extension of the main side tube of the side tube unit and the central reinforcement tube of the reinforcement unit, thereby making it possible to sufficiently utilize the space to improve the space utilization.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 4, 5 and 6, the motorcycle frame according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a main pipe unit 2, two side pipe units 3 respectively connected to left and right sides of the main pipe unit 2, a reinforcement unit 4 connected to the main pipe unit 2, and an accommodating unit 5.
The main pipe unit 2 includes a head pipe 21 for pivotally mounting a handle 200, and a slot connecting mechanism 22 for connecting the head pipe 21 and the reinforcing unit 4. The slot attaching mechanism 22 includes a body 221 connected to the head pipe 21, and a slot attaching member 222 connected to the body 221. For ease of illustration, the handle 200 is shown only in fig. 5.
The side pipe units 3 are connected to the left and right sides of the main body 221 of the tank connecting mechanism 22, and each side pipe unit 3 includes a main side pipe 31 connected to the tank connecting mechanism 22 of the main pipe unit 2, and a sub side pipe 32 provided to the main side pipe 31.
The main side pipe 31 has a lower extension 311 extending downward from the connecting mechanism 22 of the main pipe unit 2, a straight section 312 extending substantially horizontally rearward from the lower extension 311, and an upper extension 313 extending rearward and upward from the straight section 312, and both ends of the secondary side pipe 32 are connected to the lower extension 311 and the upper extension 313, respectively, and spaced apart from the straight section 312.
The reinforcing unit 4 includes a central reinforcing pipe 41 connected to the head pipe 21 of the main pipe unit 2 and extending downward, a first reinforcing pipe 42 connected to an end of the central reinforcing pipe 41 opposite to the main pipe unit 2 and having a substantially inverted U-shape, two reinforcing members 43 respectively connecting the sub-side pipe 32 of each side pipe unit 3 and the first reinforcing pipe 42 in a transverse direction, and a reinforcing plate 44 connecting straight sections 312 of the main side pipes 31 of the side pipe units 3.
The central reinforcing pipe 41 is connected to the slot 222 of the slot connecting mechanism 22 and has a first connecting end 411 connected to the head pipe 21 of the main pipe unit 2 and a second connecting end 412 connected to the first reinforcing pipe 42 opposite to the first connecting end 411. And opposite ends of the first reinforcing pipe 42 are respectively connected to the straight sections 312 of the main side pipes 31 of the side pipe units 3, and the second connecting end 412 of the central reinforcing pipe 41 is higher than the secondary side pipe 32 of the side pipe unit 3 with respect to the ground G.
The reinforcing plate 44 is connected to the side of the straight section 312 of the main side pipe 31 facing the ground G, and the reinforcing plate 44, the first reinforcing pipe 42 and the straight section 312 of the main side pipe 31 of the side pipe unit 3 cooperate to define an installation space a.
The accommodating unit 5 includes a hollow oil tank 51 installed in the installation space a, and an oil inlet 52 communicating with the oil tank 51 and protruding between the lower extension 311 of the main side pipe 31 of the side pipe unit 3 and the central reinforcing pipe 41 of the reinforcing unit 4.
Since the height of the second connection end 412 of the central reinforcing pipe 41 with respect to the ground G is higher than the height of the subsidiary side pipe 32 of the side pipe unit 3 with respect to the ground G, the space between the lower side of the first reinforcing pipe 42 and the straight section 312 of the main side pipe 31 of the side pipe unit 3 can be sufficiently utilized, improving the space utilization.
In summary, the motorcycle frame of the present invention can improve the space utilization by making the design that the height of the second connecting end 412 of the central reinforcing pipe 41 with respect to the ground G is higher than the height of the secondary side pipe 32 of the side pipe unit 3 with respect to the ground G, and by making the space between the lower side of the first reinforcing pipe 42 and the straight section 312 of the primary side pipe 31 of the side pipe unit 3 sufficiently applicable, so that the object of the present invention can be achieved.
In addition, the structural strength of the head pipe 21 can be improved by connecting the head pipe 21 and the center reinforcing pipe 41 by the grooving mechanism 22. The two reinforcing members 43 respectively connecting the sub-side pipe 32 of each side pipe unit 3 and the first reinforcing pipe 42 can enhance the bonding strength between the first reinforcing pipe 42 and the sub-side pipe 32. By reusing the reinforcing plate 44 connecting the straight sections 312 of the main side pipes 31 of the side pipe unit 3, it is possible to not only improve the strength of the main side pipes 31 of the side pipe unit 3 but also protect the oil tank 51. Finally, the hollow oil tank 51 is installed in the installation space a with the oil inlet 52 projecting between the lower extension 311 of the main side pipe 31 of the side pipe unit 3 and the central reinforcing pipe 41 of the reinforcing unit 4, and the space can be further sufficiently utilized to improve the space utilization.

Claims (5)
1. A motorcycle frame comprising:
a main pipe unit;
two side pipe units respectively connected with the left side and the right side of the main pipe unit, each side pipe unit comprises a main side pipe connected with the main pipe unit and an auxiliary side pipe connected with the main side pipe, the main side pipe is provided with a lower extension section extending downwards from the main pipe unit, a straight section extending backwards from the lower extension section in a horizontal way, and an upper extension section extending backwards and upwards from the straight section, and two ends of the auxiliary side pipe are respectively connected with the lower extension section and the upper extension section and are separated from the straight section; and
a reinforcing unit, including a central reinforcing pipe which is connected with the main pipe unit and extends downwards, and a first reinforcing pipe which is connected with one end of the central reinforcing pipe opposite to the main pipe unit, wherein the central reinforcing pipe is provided with a first connecting end connected with the main pipe unit, and a second connecting end which is opposite to the first connecting end and connected with the first reinforcing pipe, two opposite ends of the first reinforcing pipe are connected with the main side pipe, and the height of the second connecting end of the central reinforcing pipe relative to the ground is higher than that of the secondary side pipe relative to the ground;
the reinforcing unit also comprises a reinforcing plate connected with the straight section of the main side pipe of the side pipe unit, the reinforcing plate is connected with one side of the straight section of the main side pipe facing the ground, and the reinforcing plate, the first reinforcing pipe and the straight section of the main side pipe of the side pipe unit are matched to define an installation space,
the main pipe unit comprises a head pipe and a groove connecting mechanism for connecting the head pipe and the central reinforcing pipe, the groove connecting mechanism comprises a body connected with the head pipe and a groove connecting piece connected with the body, the side pipe units are connected to the left side and the right side of the body of the groove connecting mechanism, and the first connecting end of the central reinforcing pipe is connected with the head pipe.
2. A motorcycle frame as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stiffening unit further comprises two stiffening members connecting the secondary side tube of each side tube unit with the first stiffening tube, respectively.
3. A motorcycle frame as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a receiving unit including a hollow oil tank installed in the installation space, and an oil inlet communicating with the oil tank and protruding between a lower extension of the main side tube of the side tube unit and the central reinforcement tube of the reinforcement unit.
4. A motorcycle frame as claimed in claim 1 wherein the first reinforcing tube is of generally inverted U-shape and the opposite ends are straight sections which are respectively connected to the main side tubes of said side tube units.
5. A motorcycle frame as claimed in claim 1 wherein the central reinforcing tube is connected to the channel member.
