Connectors have a wide range of applications in terminal equipment. The existing connector has no fixed structure, and can be loosened in a long-term use or a vibration and bumpy environment, so that the electric connection is unstable, and the normal work of terminal equipment is influenced.

A connector assembly comprising a first connector and a second connector; the first connector comprises a first body, and a first terminal is arranged on the first body; the second connector comprises a second body, a second terminal is arranged on the second body, the second terminal is bent to form a fixing part, and the first terminal is fixed with the fixing part.

Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the connector assembly 10 of the first embodiment of the present invention includes a first connector 11 and a second connector 12. The first connector 11 includes a first body 111, and a first terminal 112 is disposed on the first body 111. The second connector 12 includes a second body 121, and a second terminal 122 is provided on the second body 121. The second terminal 122 is bent to form a holding portion 1221 for holding the first terminal 112. The portion inside the dashed box in fig. 1 represents the holding portion 1221. Specifically, the holding part 1221 includes a holding cavity a, and the cross section of the holding cavity a is trapezoidal. The first terminal 112 has a shape adapted to the holding cavity a, and the first terminal 112 is inserted into the holding cavity a to form a snap fit.
In the first embodiment, the number of the first terminals 112 and the second terminals 122 may be determined according to the requirement, for example, each may be plural. In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the holding cavity a is a trapezoid with a large top and a small bottom. In this embodiment, the first terminal 112 and the holding cavity a are tightly fitted, i.e. not easily disassembled, so as to ensure that the first terminal 112 and the second terminal 122 are not easily separated. In addition, for the convenience of insertion, rounded corners or C-shaped corners may be disposed at corresponding positions on the first terminal 112 and the second terminal 122. In the connector assembly 10 of the present embodiment, since the first terminals 112 are inserted into the second terminals 122 having the holding cavities a, the contact area between the terminals is increased, the mechanical connection strength is improved, and the connector assembly 10 is not easy to loosen, thereby ensuring the stability of the electrical connection.
As shown in fig. 2, a connector assembly 20 of a second embodiment of the present invention includes a first connector 21 and a second connector 22. The first connector 21 may include a first body 211, and the first body 211 is provided with a first terminal 212. The holding portion 1221 includes a holding cavity a into which the first terminal 212 is inserted. Unlike the first embodiment, the shape of the holding cavity a in the second embodiment is not limited, and the shape may be designed according to the requirement as long as the first terminal 212 can be held. The inner wall of the holding cavity a may have a protrusion C, and a groove B is disposed on the first terminal 212 corresponding to the protrusion C, and the protrusion C is inserted into the groove B to form a clamping fit.
In the second embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the cross section of the holding cavity a may be approximately rectangular. Accordingly, an end of the first terminal 212 close to the first body 211 is substantially the same size as an end far from the first body 211. The base enables the terminals to be arranged at desired positions and intervals, and ensures insulating properties between the terminals and the housing. In this embodiment, the base has good insulation and voltage resistance. In other embodiments, the structure of the first and second connectors may not be limited thereto.
For example, as shown in fig. 4, in the first connector 11 of the first embodiment, the first body 111 may include a first housing 1111 and a first base 1112 disposed inside the first housing 1111, and the first terminal 112 is disposed on the first base 1112. The dashed lines in fig. 4 indicate that the first terminal 112 has a structural connection with the first base 1112. The second body 121 includes a second casing 1211 and a second base 1212 disposed inside the second casing 1211, and the second terminal 122 is disposed on the second base 1212. The second housing 1211 is disposed opposite to the first housing 1111.
Furthermore, in the embodiment of the present invention, the first housing may be designed with a positioning portion, and the second housing may be provided with a positioning groove. When the first terminal is connected with the second terminal in a buckling mode, the positioning portion is inserted into the positioning groove. The terminal device 40 includes, but is not limited to, an electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet, a desktop computer, etc. The terminal device 40 shown in fig. 5 is, for example, a cellular phone. The terminal device 40 includes a housing 43, a main board 41, and the connector assembly in the above embodiment. The first connector is disposed on the motherboard 41, and the second connector is connected to other modules or components. The second connector and the first connector are used to electrically connect other modules or components to the motherboard 41. For example, as shown in fig. 5 and 6, the connector assembly in the terminal device 40 may be the connector assembly 10 in the first embodiment described above. The first connector 11 is disposed on the motherboard 41, and the second connector 12 is connected to other modules or components. The second connector 12 and the first connector 11 are used to electrically connect other modules or components to the motherboard 41.
Further, as shown in fig. 5 and fig. 6, the other module or component may be a battery 42, a flexible circuit board 421 may be led out from the battery 42, and the battery 42 is connected to the second connector 12 or the first connector 11 through the flexible circuit board 421. The connector assembly 10 of the present embodiment, in combination with the battery 42, may constitute a battery assembly. In the battery pack, since the battery 42 does not need to be frequently disassembled, the battery pack can be used as a built-in battery of the terminal device 40 to meet the design requirements of the current mainstream products.
