Abstract
The invention provides a connector assembly, comprising a first connector and a second connector; the first connector comprises a first body, and a first terminal is arranged on the first body; the second connector comprises a second body, a second terminal is arranged on the second body, the second terminal is bent to form a fixing part, and the first terminal is fixed with the fixing part. The invention also provides terminal equipment comprising the connector assembly. According to the scheme of the invention, the first terminal is fixedly held with the holding part, compared with the terminal contact of a conventional connector, the contact area is increased, so that the mechanical connection strength is higher, the connection is more stable, the connector assembly is not easy to loosen, and the stability of electric connection is ensured.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of electronic products, in particular to a connector assembly and a terminal device.
Background
Connectors have a wide range of applications in terminal equipment. The existing connector has no fixed structure, and can be loosened in a long-term use or a vibration and bumpy environment, so that the electric connection is unstable, and the normal work of terminal equipment is influenced.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention provides a connector assembly and a terminal device, which can solve the problem of unstable electrical connection caused by loose connection of a connector.
A connector assembly comprising a first connector and a second connector; the first connector comprises a first body, and a first terminal is arranged on the first body; the second connector comprises a second body, a second terminal is arranged on the second body, the second terminal is bent to form a fixing part, and the first terminal is fixed with the fixing part.
The second holding part comprises a holding cavity, and the cross section of the holding cavity is trapezoidal; the first terminal has a shape fitting the holding cavity, and is inserted into the holding cavity and held by the holding part.
The second terminal is provided with a holding cavity, the inner wall of the holding cavity is provided with a protruding part, the first terminal is inserted into the holding cavity, a groove is arranged on the position, corresponding to the protruding part, of the first terminal, and the protruding part is clamped with the groove.
Wherein, the first terminal and the fixing part are both provided with a hook, and the two hooks are clamped.
The first body comprises a first shell and a first base arranged in the first shell, and the first terminal is arranged on the first base.
The second body comprises a second shell and a second base arranged in the second shell, and the second terminal is arranged on the second base.
The first shell is provided with a positioning part, the second shell is provided with a positioning groove, and when the first terminal is clamped with the second terminal, the positioning part is inserted into the positioning groove.
The first connector and the second connector are both board-to-board connectors.
A terminal device comprises a mainboard and the connector assembly; wherein the first connector is provided on the main board.
The battery is connected with the second connector or the first connector through the flexible circuit board.
In the scheme of the invention, the first terminal is fixedly held with the holding part, compared with the terminal contact of a conventional connector, the contact area is increased, so that the mechanical connection strength is higher, the connection is more stable, the connector assembly is not easy to loosen, and the stability of electric connection is ensured.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENT (S) OF INVENTION
The technical solution in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be obtained by a person skilled in the art without any inventive step based on the embodiments of the present invention, shall fall within the scope of protection of the present invention.
The following embodiments of the present invention provide a connector assembly including a first connector and a second connector. The first connector comprises a first body, and a first terminal is arranged on the first body; the second connector comprises a second body, a second terminal is arranged on the second body, the second terminal is bent to form a fixing part, and the first terminal is fixed with the fixing part.
In the embodiment of the invention, the first terminal is fixedly held with the holding part, compared with the terminal contact of the conventional connector, the contact area is increased, so that the mechanical connection strength is higher, the connection is more stable, the connector assembly is not easy to loosen, and the stability of electric connection is ensured.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the connector assembly 10 of the first embodiment of the present invention includes a first connector 11 and a second connector 12. The first connector 11 includes a first body 111, and a first terminal 112 is disposed on the first body 111. The second connector 12 includes a second body 121, and a second terminal 122 is provided on the second body 121. The second terminal 122 is bent to form a holding portion 1221 for holding the first terminal 112. The portion inside the dashed box in fig. 1 represents the holding portion 1221. Specifically, the holding part 1221 includes a holding cavity a, and the cross section of the holding cavity a is trapezoidal. The first terminal 112 has a shape adapted to the holding cavity a, and the first terminal 112 is inserted into the holding cavity a to form a snap fit.
In the first embodiment, the number of the first terminals 112 and the second terminals 122 may be determined according to the requirement, for example, each may be plural. Two first terminals 112 and two second terminals 122 are shown in fig. 1, which is merely an illustration. In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the holding cavity a is a trapezoid with a large top and a small bottom. Accordingly, the end of the first terminal 112 close to the first body 111 is larger in size, and the end far from the first body 111 is smaller in size; of course, the holding cavity a may also be a trapezoid with a smaller top and a larger bottom, and accordingly, the end of the first terminal 112 close to the first body 111 has a smaller size, and the end far from the first body 111 has a larger size. In this embodiment, the first terminal 112 and the holding cavity a are tightly fitted, i.e. not easily disassembled, so as to ensure that the first terminal 112 and the second terminal 122 are not easily separated. In addition, for the convenience of insertion, rounded corners or C-shaped corners may be disposed at corresponding positions on the first terminal 112 and the second terminal 122. In the connector assembly 10 of the present embodiment, since the first terminals 112 are inserted into the second terminals 122 having the holding cavities a, the contact area between the terminals is increased, the mechanical connection strength is improved, and the connector assembly 10 is not easy to loosen, thereby ensuring the stability of the electrical connection.
As shown in fig. 2, a connector assembly 20 of a second embodiment of the present invention includes a first connector 21 and a second connector 22. The first connector 21 may include a first body 211, and the first body 211 is provided with a first terminal 212. The second connector 22 may include a second body 221, and the second body 221 is provided with second terminals 222. The second terminal 222 may be bent to form a holding portion 2221 for holding the first terminal 212. The portion inside the dashed box in fig. 2 represents the holding portion 1221. The holding portion 1221 includes a holding cavity a into which the first terminal 212 is inserted. Unlike the first embodiment, the shape of the holding cavity a in the second embodiment is not limited, and the shape may be designed according to the requirement as long as the first terminal 212 can be held. The inner wall of the holding cavity a may have a protrusion C, and a groove B is disposed on the first terminal 212 corresponding to the protrusion C, and the protrusion C is inserted into the groove B to form a clamping fit.
In the second embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the cross section of the holding cavity a may be approximately rectangular. Accordingly, an end of the first terminal 212 close to the first body 211 is substantially the same size as an end far from the first body 211. In the embodiment, the contact area between the first connector 21 and the second connector 22 can be increased; and through the card of bellying C and recess B, further promoted mechanical connection intensity, promoted the stability of the electric connection of connector assembly 20.
As shown in fig. 3, a connector assembly 30 of a third embodiment of the present invention includes a first connector 31 and a second connector 32. The first connector 31 includes a first body 311, and a first terminal 312 is disposed on the first body 311. The second connector 31 includes a second body 321, a second terminal 322 is disposed on the second body 321, and the second terminal 322 is bent to form a holding portion 3221. Different from the above embodiments, in the present embodiment, the first terminal 312 and the holding portion 3221 are both formed with hooks, and the hooks on the first terminal 312 and the hooks on the holding portion 3221 are hooked together to form a snap fit. Through the block of trip, can stably connect first connector 31 with second connector 32, promoted mechanical connection intensity, promoted the stability of the electric connection of connector assembly 20.
In addition, the structures of the first terminal and the second terminal in the above embodiments may be formed by a hardware processing process such as stamping, drawing, bending, and the like, so that the first terminal and the second terminal of the present embodiment are convenient to manufacture and have high precision.
Further, in the first connector of each of the above embodiments, the first body may include a first housing and a first base disposed inside the first housing, and the first terminal is disposed on the first base. The second body may also include a second housing and a second base disposed inside the second housing, the second terminal is disposed on the second base, and the second housing is disposed opposite to the first housing. The housing provides mechanical protection for the built-in base and terminals and provides alignment when the terminals are inserted. The base enables the terminals to be arranged at desired positions and intervals, and ensures insulating properties between the terminals and the housing. In this embodiment, the base has good insulation and voltage resistance. In other embodiments, the structure of the first and second connectors may not be limited thereto.
For example, as shown in fig. 4, in the first connector 11 of the first embodiment, the first body 111 may include a first housing 1111 and a first base 1112 disposed inside the first housing 1111, and the first terminal 112 is disposed on the first base 1112. The dashed lines in fig. 4 indicate that the first terminal 112 has a structural connection with the first base 1112. The second body 121 includes a second casing 1211 and a second base 1212 disposed inside the second casing 1211, and the second terminal 122 is disposed on the second base 1212. The second housing 1211 is disposed opposite to the first housing 1111.
Furthermore, in the embodiment of the present invention, the first housing may be designed with a positioning portion, and the second housing may be provided with a positioning groove. When the first terminal is connected with the second terminal in a buckling mode, the positioning portion is inserted into the positioning groove. Through the grafting cooperation of location portion with the constant head tank, be favorable to accurately inserting the second connector with first connector. In other embodiments, the positioning portion and the positioning groove may not be provided.
In the above embodiments of the present invention, the first connector and the second connector may be both board-to-board (BTB) connectors. The BTB connector adopts narrow-sheet contact, uses a Surface Mount Technology (SMT), has smaller terminal arrangement distance and has the advantages of miniaturization, thinness, high performance and the like. Of course, the first and second connectors may also be other types of connectors.
As shown in fig. 5 to 6, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a terminal device 40. The terminal device 40 includes, but is not limited to, an electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet, a desktop computer, etc. The terminal device 40 shown in fig. 5 is, for example, a cellular phone. The terminal device 40 includes a housing 43, a main board 41, and the connector assembly in the above embodiment. The first connector is disposed on the motherboard 41, and the second connector is connected to other modules or components. The second connector and the first connector are used to electrically connect other modules or components to the motherboard 41. For example, as shown in fig. 5 and 6, the connector assembly in the terminal device 40 may be the connector assembly 10 in the first embodiment described above. The first connector 11 is disposed on the motherboard 41, and the second connector 12 is connected to other modules or components. The second connector 12 and the first connector 11 are used to electrically connect other modules or components to the motherboard 41.
Further, as shown in fig. 5 and fig. 6, the other module or component may be a battery 42, a flexible circuit board 421 may be led out from the battery 42, and the battery 42 is connected to the second connector 12 or the first connector 11 through the flexible circuit board 421. The connector assembly 10 of the present embodiment, in combination with the battery 42, may constitute a battery assembly. In the battery pack, since the battery 42 does not need to be frequently disassembled, the battery pack can be used as a built-in battery of the terminal device 40 to meet the design requirements of the current mainstream products.

A terminal device is characterized by comprising a connector assembly, a mainboard, a battery and a flexible circuit board, wherein the connector assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector; the first connector comprises a first body, and a first terminal is arranged on the first body; the second connector comprises a second body, a second terminal is arranged on the second body, the second terminal is bent to form a fixing part, the fixing part comprises a fixing cavity, a protruding part is arranged on the inner wall of the fixing cavity, the first terminal is in a shape matched with the fixing cavity, a groove is arranged at the position, corresponding to the protruding part, of the first terminal, the first terminal is inserted into the fixing cavity, the protruding part is inserted into the groove to be fixed with the fixing part, the first terminal and the fixing cavity are in tight fit, so that the first terminal and the second terminal cannot be separated, the second terminal further comprises a connecting part and a fixing part, the connecting part is connected with one end of the fixing part, the fixing part is connected with one end, deviating from the fixing part, of the connecting part, and the fixing part is arranged on the surface, facing the first body, of the second body, the first connector is arranged on the upper surface of the mainboard, the second connector is opposite to the mainboard compared with the first connector, the battery is a built-in battery and does not need to be detached, the battery and the mainboard are arranged at intervals along the length direction of the terminal, the battery is provided with a side surface and an upper surface which face the mainboard, the upper surface of the battery protrudes out of the upper surface of the mainboard, and the flexible circuit board is connected with the side surface of the battery and the second connector.
