The management method for restarting the intelligent device, which is provided by the embodiment of the invention, is applied to the system boot process of the BIOS7 of the intelligent devices such as the server, can effectively reduce the restart times of the intelligent devices such as the server, and improve the efficiency of the BIOS7 in system boot, and as shown in figure 1, the management method comprises the following steps:
s1, presetting at least one detection point in the system boot process of the BIOS7, where the detection point is used to detect a restart request. The restart request may be sent by the driver 8 loaded on the intelligent device such as the server, or may be sent by another hardware device, or may be generated when an error occurs, and the like, which is not limited herein. In one embodiment, a plurality of detection points may be set for detecting different types of restart requests during the system boot process of the BIOS7, or restart requests sent by different drivers 8 and the like. In another embodiment, two detection points, Point1 and Point2, are preset in the system boot process of the BIOS7, and the restart request is detected by matching the two detection points according to a preset rule, where the preset rule may be changed according to an actual use condition to meet different detection requirements.
And S2, when the restart request is detected at the detection point, the restart operation of the intelligent device is suspended. In the system boot process of the BIOS7, generally, a number of drivers 8 that need to be loaded by an intelligent device such as a server may be more, a plurality of restart requests may be generated in the process, and a plurality of errors may occur, thereby causing the generation of the restart request, but in this embodiment, once the restart request is detected at a detection point, the restart operation of the intelligent device is suspended no matter which initiator issues (e.g., which driver 8 issues or which error occurs), but the time of the suspension is very short, and the intelligent device such as the server may be restarted in a subsequent process.
And S3, acquiring corresponding information of the restart request, and carrying out restart operation on the intelligent device according to the corresponding information of the restart request. The corresponding information of the restart request may include the sending time of the restart request, the name of the initiator, the type of the initiator, the number of restart requests, weight information, and the like, and after the information of the restart request is obtained, the information may be analyzed, summarized, and comprehensively determined, for example, the restart request with high weight (priority) is subjected to priority processing (for example, the restart request sent by the CPU in the process of installing the corresponding driver 8 is subjected to priority processing), and the intelligent devices such as the server and the like may solve a plurality of restart requests in one restart process, thereby effectively reducing the restart times and improving the efficiency of system boot of the BIOS 7. In addition, when the intelligent device is restarted according to the corresponding information of the restart request, the corresponding information of the restart request can be output, for example, sent to the remote end, so that the user can timely know the relevant conditions of the restart request, for example, the restart request sent by which driver 8 or the restart request generated by what error occurs, so as to make timely adjustment and perfect the system boot process of the BIOS 7.
In an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, obtaining the corresponding information of the restart request includes:
s31, storing the weight information of the restart request and the information of the initiator in the preset database 5. When receiving restart requests sent by a plurality of initiators, the restart requests are usually not sequential, when receiving the restart requests, the corresponding restart requests, the names of the initiators and other information can be stored in the preset database 5 for subsequent arrangement and comprehensive judgment, in addition, data in the database 5 can be updated at any time, for example, when a driver 8 of a hardware device of a server is registered, because the driver 8 is a newer driver after being updated, the restart request sent by the driver can overwrite the old restart request stored in the database 5. In addition, the database 5 is small in size and can be disposed in multiple places, and in one embodiment, the database 5 can be preset in a storage device of the BIOS7 (for example, in a storage medium inside the BIOS 7), so that the efficiency in calling the database 5 is significantly improved.
S32, when the restart operation is suspended, reporting the restart request, and obtaining the corresponding weight information and the information of the initiator from the database 5 according to the restart request. When the restart operation is suspended, that is, a detection point detects a restart request and performs suspension processing, for reporting the restart request, for example, reporting the restart request to a preset system boot manager 4 may be reported to a preset component, and a BMC of the server records corresponding information of the restart request, and a user may retrieve the corresponding information of the restart request through the BMC, and the corresponding component may also obtain various pieces of information about the restart request according to the report, for example, obtain corresponding information of an initiator that generates the restart request or information of priority of the restart request, so as to perform restart operation on an intelligent device such as the server. In the embodiment, the corresponding weight information and the information of the initiating terminal are obtained from the database 5 according to the restart request, so that the information can be utilized later, for example, the restart request with a large weight can be satisfied preferentially, and the important initiating terminal can also be satisfied preferentially (for example, the restart request of the CPU).
S33, the weight information and the information of the initiator are displayed. This step can be implemented by a corresponding display component, and displaying the weight information and the information of the initiating terminal can enable the user to know the relevant conditions in time, such as which driver 8 sent the restart request or what error occurred to cause the restart request to be generated, so as to make adjustments in time.
In an embodiment of the present invention, performing a restart operation on an intelligent device according to corresponding information of a restart request includes: and responding to at least one restart request by one-time restart operation of the intelligent equipment according to the weight information and the information of the initiating terminal. Specifically, in one embodiment, multiple restart requests can be classified into one group according to the weight information and the information of the initiator, and can be responded by restarting an intelligent device such as a server once; in another embodiment, the plurality of restart requests are divided into a plurality of types, such as a high-weight type, a normal-weight type, a second-weight type and the like, and all restart requests are solved by restarting the intelligent device such as a server once to respond to one type and restarting three times respectively. Therefore, the restarting times of intelligent equipment such as a server and the like can be effectively reduced, and the efficiency of the BIOS7 for conducting system boot is improved.
The presetting of at least one detection point in the system boot process of the BIOS7 specifically includes: the detection points are respectively preset at different starting stages of the BIOS 7. The BIOS7 may pass through multiple stages during the boot process, such as SEC, PEI, DXE, BSD stage, etc., and the BIOS7 performs different system boot operations at each different stage, for example, an execution environment is prepared for DXE at the PEI stage, and information to be transferred to DXE is formed into an hob (handy block) list; most of the initialization work for the system is performed during the DXE phase, which is a phase in which memory is fully used, and thus a large amount of other complex work is performed. In one embodiment, detection points are respectively preset at different starting stages of the BIOS7, so that operations such as classifying or judging priority of the restart request can be more conveniently carried out; in another embodiment, detection points (Point1 and Point2) are respectively set at the key stage of the system boot of the BIOS7, namely, at the PEI stage and the DXE stage, and are also reasonably controlled to improve the detection efficiency.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the method further includes: when no restart request is detected at the detection point, the BIOS7 proceeds with the system boot operation. Specifically, the loaded drivers 8 may be correct, and the system boot of the BIOS7 can be completed without performing a reboot operation of an intelligent device such as a server, and at this time, a reboot request is not detected at a detection point; or after at least one restart operation, no new restart request is generated, so that the BIOS7 can continue the system boot operation and finally complete the operation. The steps ensure that the BIOS7 can conduct correct and timely system boot, so that the management method for restarting the intelligent device is more complete.
The embodiment of the present invention further provides a management apparatus 1 for restarting an intelligent device, which is applied to a system boot process of a BIOS7 of the intelligent device, and as shown in fig. 3, the apparatus includes a setting module 2, a suspending module 3, and a system boot manager 4:
the setting module 2 is configured to preset at least one detection point in a system boot process of the BIOS7, where the detection point is used for detecting a restart request. The restart request may be sent by the driver 8 loaded on the intelligent device such as the server, or may be sent by another hardware device, or may be generated when an error occurs, and the like, which is not limited herein. In one embodiment, the setting module 2 may set a plurality of detection points, and the detection points may detect different types of restart requests respectively during the system boot process of the BIOS7, or restart requests sent by different drivers 8 and other initiating terminals. In another embodiment, the setting module 2 presets two detection points, namely Point1 and Point2, in the system boot process of the BIOS7, and detects the restart request by matching with each other according to a preset rule, where the preset rule may be changed according to an actual use condition to meet different detection requirements.
The halt module 3 is configured to halt a restart operation of the smart device when a restart request is detected at the detection point. In the system boot process of the BIOS7, there are usually many drivers 8 that need to be loaded by an intelligent device such as a server, and a plurality of restart requests may be generated in the process, and a plurality of errors may occur in general, thereby causing the generation of the restart request, but in this embodiment, once the restart request is detected at a detection point, the pause module 3, which is issued by any initiator (e.g., issued by any driver 8 or caused by an error), suspends the restart operation on the intelligent device, but the time of the pause is very short, and the intelligent device such as the server may be restarted in a subsequent process.
The system boot manager 4 is connected to the suspending module 3, and the system boot manager 4 is configured to obtain corresponding information of the restart request when the suspending module 3 suspends the restart of the intelligent device, and perform a restart operation on the intelligent device according to the corresponding information of the restart request. The corresponding information of the restart request may include the sending time of the restart request, the name of the initiator, the type of the initiator, the number of restart requests, weight information, and the like, and the system boot manager 4 obtains the information of the restart request, and may perform analysis, summarization, and comprehensive judgment according to the information, for example, the system boot manager 4 may perform priority processing on a restart request with a high weight (priority) (for example, perform priority processing on a restart request sent by a CPU in a process of installing a corresponding driver 8), and enable an intelligent device such as a server and the like to solve a plurality of restart requests in one restart process, thereby effectively reducing the number of restart times and improving the efficiency of system boot of the BIOS 7. In addition, when the system boot manager 4 performs a reboot operation on the intelligent device according to the corresponding information of the reboot request, the corresponding information of the reboot request may be output, for example, sent to the remote end, so that the user may know the relevant conditions of the reboot request in time, such as which driver 8 issued the reboot request or what error occurred that caused the reboot request, so as to make timely adjustments and improve the system boot process of the BIOS 7.
In an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, the management device 1 further includes a database 5 and a display terminal 6, wherein the database 5 stores the weight information of the restart request and the information of the initiating terminal. When receiving restart requests sent by a plurality of initiators, the management device 1 is usually not sequential, and when receiving the restart requests, the management device 1 can store information such as corresponding restart requests, names of the initiators and the like in a preset database 5 for subsequent arrangement and comprehensive judgment, and in addition, data in the database 5 can be updated at any time, for example, when a driver 8 of one hardware device of a server is registered, because the driver 8 is a newer driver after being updated, the sent restart request can overwrite an old restart request stored in the database 5. In addition, the database 5 is small in size and can be disposed in multiple places, and in one embodiment, the database 5 can be preset in a storage device of the BIOS7 (for example, in a storage medium inside the BIOS 7), so that the efficiency in calling the database 5 is significantly improved.
The system boot manager 4 includes an obtaining unit, which is respectively connected to the database 5 and the display terminal 6, and the obtaining unit is configured to obtain corresponding weight information and information of the initiating terminal from the database 5 according to the restart request when the restart operation is suspended, and to make the display terminal 6 display the weight information and the information of the initiating terminal. When the restart operation is suspended, that is, a detection point detects a restart request and performs suspension processing, at this time, the restart request may be reported to the preset system boot manager 4, and the BMC of the server records corresponding information of the report restart request, and a user may retrieve the corresponding information of the restart request through the BMC, and the system boot manager 4 may also obtain various pieces of information about the restart request according to the report, for example, obtain information about a corresponding information of an initiator that generates the restart request or information about the priority of the restart request, so as to perform the restart operation on the intelligent devices such as the server. In the embodiment, the obtaining unit obtains the corresponding weight information and the information of the initiating terminal from the database 5 according to the restart request, so that the system boot manager 4 can subsequently utilize the information, for example, the restart request with a large weight can be preferentially satisfied, and the important initiating terminal can also be preferentially satisfied (for example, the restart request of the CPU). The display end 6 displays the weight information and the information of the initiating end, so that the user can know relevant conditions in time, such as which driver 8 sends a restart request or what error occurs to cause the restart request to be generated, and make adjustments in time.
In one embodiment of the invention, the system boot manager 4 comprises a restart unit configured to respond to at least one restart request with one restart operation of the intelligent device based on the weight information and the information of the originating terminal. Specifically, in one embodiment, the restart unit may classify a plurality of restart requests into one class according to the weight information and the information of the initiator, and the restart unit may respond to the plurality of restart requests by restarting an intelligent device such as a server once; in another embodiment, the restarting unit divides the plurality of restarting requests into a plurality of types, such as a high-weight class, a normal-weight class, a second-weight class and the like, and responds to one type by restarting the intelligent device such as the server once, and performs three times of restarting respectively to solve all the restarting requests. Therefore, the restarting times of intelligent devices such as a server and the like can be effectively reduced, and the efficiency of the BIOS7 for conducting system boot is improved.
The setting module 2 is specifically configured to respectively preset detection points at different boot stages of the BIOS 7. In one embodiment, the setting module 2 respectively presets detection points at different starting stages of the BIOS7, so as to more conveniently classify or judge priority and other operations on the restart request; in another embodiment, the setting module 2 sets the detection points (Point1 and Point2) respectively in the key phase of the system boot of the BIOS7, that is, in the PEI phase and the DXE phase, and reasonably controls the detection points to improve the detection efficiency.
The pause module 3 is connected with the BIOS7, and the pause module 3 is further configured to send corresponding information to the BIOS7 when the restart request is not detected at the detection point, so that the BIOS7 continues the system boot operation. Specifically, the loaded drivers 8 may be correct, and the system boot of the BIOS7 can be completed without performing a restart operation of an intelligent device such as a server, and at this time, a restart request is not detected at a detection point; or after at least one restart operation, no new restart request is generated, and the suspend module 3 may learn from the detection point that no corresponding information of the restart request is detected, so as to send a signal to the BIOS7, so that the BIOS7 may continue to perform the system boot operation, or the system boot operation performed by the BIOS7 is not interfered, and finally the BIOS7 completes the operation. The function of the pause module 3 ensures that the BIOS7 can perform correct and timely system boot, so that the management method for restarting the intelligent device is more complete.
The above embodiments are only exemplary embodiments of the present invention, and are not intended to limit the present invention, and the scope of the present invention is defined by the claims. Various modifications and equivalents may be made by those skilled in the art within the spirit and scope of the present invention, and such modifications and equivalents should also be considered as falling within the scope of the present invention.
