Abstract

背景技术
本文所述的实施例通常涉及化学物质的检测技术,且更特别地涉及使用试剂借助于频谱测定法来检测违禁品物质,例如炸药、麻醉剂、杀虫剂和化学战剂。更具体地,方法和系统包括使用气固相化学性质来以化学方法使感兴趣物质改性,使得物质可被汽化并通过物质的分析被检测。
在自制炸药(HME)的配制中使用某些违禁品物质,例如无机氧化剂盐。这些炸药的类别的示例包括硝酸盐、氯酸盐、高氯酸盐和高锰酸盐的化合物。这些化合物具有非常低的挥发性,这使它们难以由依赖于用于检测的样品的汽化的检测系统来检测。这些类型的检测系统的示例包括质谱测定法(MS)和离子迁移率光谱法(IMS)。
因此,在一些实例中,检测系统不能够识别潜在地危险的物质,因为物质不能够在检测系统内汽化。在其它实例中,如果解吸塔斜升(ramp up)到产生小于令人满意的检测的限制的高温,则仅可能潜在地检测到具有高熔点的物质。而且,在这样的实例中,需要可以在高温下稳定的昂贵的捕集材料(trap material),且增加了分析时间(在一些实例中高达超过所需的时间的五倍)。
因此,依然需要以化学方法使感兴趣物质改性使得它可使用极端温度斜升和/或使用昂贵的捕集材料被汽化而不增加分析时间的检测系统和方法。本公开实现这些益处,同时减少用户和乘客/货物两者对危险化学物质的暴露并减少总系统的功率消耗。
发明内容
在本公开的一个实施例中,公开了一种用于检测感兴趣物质的方法。该方法包括在采样捕集器(sampling trap)上收集实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质的样品;将捕集器插入热解吸塔中;将汽化的群集剂引入到解吸塔中,其中群集剂增加感兴趣物质的挥发性;使感兴趣物质汽化;将汽化的感兴趣物质输送到检测器中;执行感兴趣物质的分析;以及检测感兴趣物质。
在本公开的另一实施例中,公开了一种用于检测感兴趣物质的方法。该方法包括增加实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质的挥发性,其中通过将汽化的群集剂施加到感兴趣物质来增加感兴趣物质的挥发性;使在热解吸塔中的感兴趣物质汽化;以及将汽化的感兴趣物质输送到检测器中,其中检测器执行汽化的感兴趣物质的分析并检测感兴趣物质。
在本公开的另一实施例中,公开了一种物质检测系统。该系统包括:采样捕集器,其包括实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质;壳体,其包括群集剂,壳体配置成使群集剂汽化;热解吸塔,其配置成接纳采样捕集器,其中解吸塔配置成使感兴趣物质汽化;输送管线,其中输送管线将壳体连接到解吸塔并将汽化的群集剂从壳体输送到解吸塔,其中汽化的群集剂增加感兴趣物质的挥发性;分析设备,其与解吸塔流动连通地耦合,分析设备配置成从解吸塔接收汽化的感兴趣物质并执行感兴趣物质的分析。

具体实施方式
本文公开的实施例通过群集剂的辅助来改进感兴趣物质的检测以有助于使具有低和/或无挥发性的化合物汽化,使得化合物可被检测到。因此,本公开针对将实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质转换成更易挥发的形式,使得感兴趣物质可通过检测系统被检测到。
如在本文定义的,术语“实质上非挥发性的”包括完全缺乏挥发性的物质(即是非挥发性的)和具有低挥发性的物质(包括在正常使用和例如ITDX解吸塔的热解吸塔的操作条件和时间期间不能够在热解吸塔中汽化的物质)两者。挥发性被定义为物质从固态转换成气态(即被汽化)的能力。在一些实施例中,“低挥发性”化合物包括在室温下未汽化的化合物。在其它实施例中,“低挥发性”化合物包括在至少大约100℃、至少大约200℃、至少大约300℃、至少大约400℃、至少大约500℃、至少大约600℃或至少大约700℃的温度下未汽化的化合物。在一些实施例中,“低挥发性”化合物包括具有大约10-9托或之下的蒸汽压的化合物。在其它实施例中,“低挥发性”化合物包括具有至少大约200℃、至少大约240℃、至少大约300℃、至少大约400℃、至少大约500℃、至少大约600℃或至少大约700℃的熔点的化合物。
不同的感兴趣物质具有不同水平的挥发性。实质上非挥发性的物质难以在检测系统中检测,因为它们不容易从它们的固态转换成它们的汽化形式,且因此检测系统不能识别潜在地有害的感兴趣物质。这些实质上非挥发性的物质常常需要极其高的温度,以便热解吸它们。根据本公开,发明人已出人意料地找到通过使用气固相化学性质将实质上非挥发性的化合物转换成更易挥发的形式并检测其的方式,其中感兴趣物质在固态中开始,且在气相中的群集剂与固态感兴趣物质相互作用。群集剂以化学方法和/或在物理上使感兴趣物质改性,使得物质在更易挥发的形式中并接着在热解吸塔中被汽化并输送到检测器中以被分析和检测。
因此,在本公开的一个实施例中,公开了用于检测感兴趣物质的方法。该方法包括在采样捕集器上收集实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质的样品;将捕集器插入热解吸塔中;将汽化的群集剂引入到解吸塔中,其中群集剂增加感兴趣物质的挥发性;使感兴趣物质汽化;将汽化的感兴趣物质输送到检测器中;执行感兴趣物质的分析;以及检测感兴趣物质。
在本公开的另一实施例中,公开了用于检测感兴趣物质的方法,其中该方法包括增加实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质的挥发性,其中通过将汽化的群集剂施加到感兴趣物质来增加感兴趣物质的挥发性;使在热解吸塔中的感兴趣物质汽化;以及将汽化的感兴趣物质输送到检测器中,其中检测器执行汽化的感兴趣物质的分析并检测感兴趣物质。
使用气固相化学物质来将实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质转换成更易挥发的形式对供采样捕集器和炸药痕迹检测设备使用是有益的。本公开提供将在解吸塔区域中的群集剂引入到包括感兴趣物质的采样捕集器上而不必将群集剂沉积在捕集器上的方法。这继而允许对用于感兴趣物质的解吸的群集剂的数量的改进的控制。此外,本文公开的方法不使待擦拭的表面暴露于群集剂(因为群集剂不被引入,直到捕集器在解吸塔内部为止),这也减少用户和/或待擦拭的表面到可被使用的危险化学物质的暴露。而且,本文公开的方法减少总检测系统的功率消耗,因为不需要将解吸塔的温度斜升到感兴趣物质的熔点的温度,这也避免替代的捕集材料的使用。此外,本文公开的方法提供在每次感兴趣物质分析期间存在的群集剂的恒定数量,而与捕集器以前已被使用的次数无关。
这些是优于以前使用的方法的明显改进,因为给捕集材料掺入任何数量的群集剂可潜在地引起在收获过程期间对表面的损坏,因为所使用的很多群集剂是强氧化剂或酸,且因此甚至以小数量仍然是非常易起反应的化合物。因此,被擦拭的表面可变得褪色,且当人被采样时,可能出现过敏反应。本公开的方法和系统将消费者对任何危险化合物的暴露最小化。
根据本公开,在一些实施例中,该方法包括收集实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质的样品。在一些实施例中,收集样品包括使用采样捕集器。在一些实施例中,采样捕集器是介质,例如由用户的(例如人的)手或在读出笔设备中操纵的一条材料。示例性使用方法是拿住采样介质并跨表面摩擦介质以收集样品。在一些实施例中,所收集的样品包括至少一种感兴趣物质。在其它实施例中,所收集的样品包括多于一种感兴趣物质。在一些实施例中,采样介质包括聚四氟乙烯、纸材料和/或其衍生物以及其组合。在一些实施例中,采样捕集器被使用多次,这对节约是有益的。应理解,在本公开的一些实施例中,“采样捕集器”是在用于收集样品的领域中已知/使用的任何介质或装置,例如但不限于捕集器、托盘、一条材料、棒设备(wand device)、一件衣物、一件行李、棉拭子、一张纸、手套、刷子等。
在本公开的一些实施例中,实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质包括炸药、含能材料、爆炸物示踪剂(taggant)、麻醉剂、毒素、化学战剂、生物战剂、污染物质、杀虫剂、有毒工业化学物质、有毒工业材料、自制炸药、药物微量污染物及其组合中的至少一个。在一些实施例中,感兴趣物质具有至少大约100℃、至少大约200℃、至少大约240℃、至少大约300℃、至少大约400℃的熔点。在一些实施例中,感兴趣物质存在于在固相中的采样捕集器上。
在一些实施例中,实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质包括无机盐、有机燃料、无机燃料及其组合中的至少一个。在一些实施例中,无机盐包括硝酸盐、氯酸盐、高氯酸盐、亚硝酸盐、亚氯酸盐、高锰酸盐、铬酸盐、重铬酸盐、溴酸盐、碘酸盐及其组合中的至少一个。在一些实施例中,感兴趣物质包括钠、钾、铵、锂、锶、钡、铅、钙及其组合中的至少一个。在一些实施例中,感兴趣物质包括硝酸钠、硝酸钾、硝酸锶、硝酸钡、氯酸钠、氯酸钾、高氯酸钠、高氯酸钾、高锰酸钠、高锰酸钾及其组合中的至少一个。
根据本公开,群集剂被引入到热解吸塔中,并例如通过增加感兴趣物质的挥发性来以化学方法和/或在物理上使实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质改性。在一些实施例中,群集剂在非电离形式中。也就是说,群集剂包括中性分子并在中性或不带电形式中。
在一些实施例中,当群集剂与感兴趣物质接触时,群集剂通过增加感兴趣物质的挥发性来以化学方法和/或在物理上使感兴趣物质改性。一旦感兴趣物质的挥发性增加,解吸塔就使感兴趣物质汽化,且接着感兴趣物质被输送到检测器中被分析。因此,尽管在前面的工业方法中,实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质将不能够被汽化并输送到检测器中,至少没有极端的温度斜升——这可损坏物质和/或限制其检测,本公开的方法提供通过气固相互作用来使感兴趣物质汽化的方式。
例如,在一些实施例中,使用采样捕集器(例如高性能捕集器)从可疑表面收获感兴趣物质。拭子然后被插入加热的解吸塔中。一旦在解吸塔中,拭子就暴露于汽化的群集剂和来自解吸塔的热。在一些实施例中,在固相中的感兴趣物质与在气(即汽化)相中的群集剂之间的非共价相互作用(例如氢键)导致具有在从大约1kcal/mol到大约10kcal/mol的数量级的结合能的短命络合物。在一些实施例中,三个过程同等地在解吸塔中发生:(1)群集剂与感兴趣物质的共蒸发;(2)通过在群集剂和感兴趣物质之间的质子交换反应的感兴趣物质的化学改性以及以化学方法改性的感兴趣物质具有较低的熔点并接着在解吸塔内被汽化;或(3)群集剂渗入感兴趣物质的晶格结构中并降低感兴趣物质的熔点,使得它可由解吸塔汽化(即,通过杂质引入的熔点降低)。在一些实施例中,群集剂形成与感兴趣物质的非共价相互作用。在一些实施例中,群集剂贡献质子以用于与感兴趣物质的质子交换反应。
在本公开的一些实施例中,群集剂包括有机酸、冠醚、胺、酯、酰胺及其组合中的至少一个。在一些实施例中,群集剂包括草酸、乳酸、丙二酸、丁二酸、戊二酸、已二酸、庚二酸及其组合中的至少一个。在一些实施例中,群集剂包括脂肪族化合物、芳香族化合物及其组合中的至少一个。
在一些实施例中,群集剂包括至少一个官能团。在一些实施例中,至少一个官能团包括羧基、羰基、胺基、酯基、羟基、卤代烷基、卤代芳烃基及其组合中的至少一个。在一些实施例中,群集剂是本文所述的一种或多种群集剂的热分解的产物。
根据本公开,存在将群集剂引入到解吸塔中的几种不同的方式。在一些实施例中,群集剂以连续的方式被引入。在其它实施例中,群集剂以脉动方式被引入。当群集剂以脉动方式被引入时,试剂以从大约0.01 Hz到大约10,000 Hz、从大约10 Hz到大约1,000 Hz或从大约0.01 Hz到大约100 Hz的脉率被引入。在一些实施例中,与将捕集器插入解吸塔中同时或在将捕集器插入解吸塔中之后至少大约10 ns、50 µs、100 ms或5 s将群集剂引入到解吸塔中。在一些实施例中,群集剂在从大约1秒到大约10秒、从大约3秒到大约7秒、或大约5秒的脉冲宽度下被引入到检测器中。在一些实施例中,阀打开达从大约0.1秒到大约30秒的时间段。
在一些实施例中,群集剂被保持在壳体中,其中壳体通过例如输送管线与热解吸塔流动连通。当群集剂在它的汽化形式中时,它从壳体流到解吸塔中。在一些实施例中,壳体与泵流动连通,其中泵配置成将空气输送到壳体中并配置成将汽化的群集剂输送到解吸塔中。在一些实施例中,泵与阀流动连通。在一些实施例中,泵与筒(cartridge)流动连通,其中筒包括分子筛。在这些实施例中,泵通过筒的分子筛输送空气并进入壳体中,且然后还将汽化的群集剂从壳体输送到解吸塔中。

当群集剂在凝结相中存在于壳体中时,它需要在从壳体输送到解吸塔之前被汽化。在一些实施例中,群集剂通过电晕放电、激光消融、电流感应解吸、通过加热块的使用及其组合中的至少一个而被汽化。因此在一些实施例中,壳体是加热块,且群集剂位于加热块内。在一些实施例中,在加热块内的温度是从大约45℃到大约300℃、从大约80℃到大约150℃或大约100℃。在一些实施例中,加热块具有恒定温度。在一些实施例中,加热块包括闪速加热机构。
一旦群集剂在壳体内被汽化,群集剂就从壳体输送到热解吸塔中。如在本公开中提到的,汽化的群集剂通过例如输送管线输送到解吸塔中。在一些实施例中,汽化的群集剂在从大约5 cc/min到大约1,000 cc/min、从大约50 cc/min到大约500 cc/min或从大约100cc/min到大约250 cc/min的流速率下从壳体被引入(即输送)到解吸塔中。在一些实施例中,汽化的群集剂以从大约0.01 µg/min到大约250 µg/min、从大约10 µg/min到大约150 µg/min或从大约50 µg/min到大约100 µg/min的浓度比率下从壳体输送到解吸塔中。

因此,在一些实施例中,帘流用作清洗机构以去除任何剩余的群集剂、污染物、和/或来自解吸塔的样品。也就是说,一旦期望数量的汽化的感兴趣物质从解吸塔输送到检测器中,在例如从采样捕集器引入下一感兴趣物质之前从解吸塔去除剩余的群集剂就是合乎需要的。在一些实施例中,帘流用来将汽化的群集剂从壳体输送到解吸塔中、从解吸塔输送到检测器中或这两者。
在一些实施例中,在汽化的感兴趣物质输送到检测器中之后,检测器执行感兴趣物质的分析并检测感兴趣物质的存在。在一些实施例中,本公开的检测器包括离子迁移率光谱仪(IMS)、离子阱迁移率光谱仪(ITMS)、漂移光谱仪(DS)、非线性漂移光谱仪、场离子光谱仪(FIS)、射频离子迁移增量谱仪(IMIS)、场非对称离子迁移率光谱仪(FAIMS)、超高场FAIMS、微分离子迁移率光谱仪(DIMS)和微分迁移率光谱仪(DMS)、行波离子迁移率光谱仪、半导体气体传感器、拉曼光谱仪、激光二极管检测器、质谱仪(MS)、气相色谱仪(GC)、电子捕获检测器、光致电离检测器、基于化学发光的检测器、电化学传感器、红外光谱仪、芯片实验室检测器及其组合中的至少一个。
检测系统
在本公开的一个实施例中,公开了物质检测系统。系统包括:采样捕集器,其包括实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质;壳体,其包括群集剂,壳体配置成使群集剂汽化;热解吸塔,其配置成接纳采样捕集器,其中解吸塔配置成使感兴趣物质汽化;输送管线,其中输送管线将壳体连接到解吸塔并将汽化的群集剂从壳体输送到解吸塔,其中汽化的群集剂增加感兴趣物质的挥发性;分析设备,其与解吸塔流动连通地耦合,分析设备配置成从解吸塔接收汽化的感兴趣物质并执行感兴趣物质的分析。
图1公开根据本公开的方法和物质检测系统的示例性实施例。在图1中,泵10通过阀20和包括分子筛的筒30输送空气。空气通过筒30行进并进入包括群集剂的壳体中。在图1中,壳体是包括草酸作为群集剂的加热块40。加热块40使草酸汽化,且然后草酸经由输送管线50从加热块40输送到热解吸塔60中。在一些实施例中,泵10便于从加热块40到解吸塔60中的输送。一旦汽化的群集剂被输送到解吸塔60中,汽化的试剂就与感兴趣物质相互作用并以化学方法和/或在物理上使感兴趣物质改性以便于在解吸塔60内的物质的汽化。

如在本文使用的,术语“实时”指相关事件的出现的时间、预定数据的测量和收集的时间、处理数据的时间和系统对事件和环境进行响应的时间中的至少一个。在本文所述的实施例中,这些活动和事件实质上瞬间地出现。
在示例性实施例中,包括存储器设备132的计算设备130没有限制地包括足够的计算机可读/可执行指令、足够的数据和数据结构、算法和命令以便于生成从数据获取模块128导入的数据与上面所述的所存储的历史光谱数据的比较。此外,计算设备130可包括或耦合到配置成存储这样的计算机可读/可执行指令、历史数据和数据结构、算法和命令的数据存储设备138。
在示例性实施例中,物质检测系统100还包括耦合到计算设备130的操作员呈现和/或控制接口136。接口136向用户(未示出)呈现数据,例如光谱比较数据。在一些实施例中,接口136包括一个或多个显示设备。在一些实施例中,在检测到感兴趣物质时,接口136呈现可听见的和/或图形通知。此外,在一些实施例中,接口136便于计算设备130的控制和到计算设备130内的手动数据输入。此外,在一些实施例中,计算设备130与一个或多个其它设备(例如另一计算设备130)在本地或远程地通信地耦合。因此,物质检测系统100可与其它系统和设备一起联网,使得跨系统100的各部分传输的数据可由能够访问计算设备130的任何设备访问,所述计算设备130没有限制地包括桌上型计算机、膝上型计算机和个人数字助理(PDA)(都没有示出)。
示例
下面的示例描述或示出本公开的各种实施例。考虑到如本文所述的本公开的说明书或实践,在所附权利要求的范围内的其它实施例对技术人员将是显然的。意图是说明书连同示例一起仅被考虑为示例性的,并且本公开的范围和精神由跟随示例的权利要求指示。
示例1
示例1是实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质到更易挥发的形式中的转换的示例性实施例。具体地,图4描绘根据本公开的来自包括空捕集器和作为群集剂的草酸的采样介质的离子迁移率光谱。如图4中所示,草酸存在于大约4.8个标定刻度单位的峰值位置处。
图5A和5B两者描绘来自包括在采样捕集器上的硝酸钠的采样介质的离子迁移率光谱。图5B描绘当没有群集剂被添加到解吸塔时的离子迁移率光谱。如图5B中所示,检测器不能够检测硝酸钠的存在。比较地,图5A描绘当草酸以汽化形式被引入作为在解吸塔中的群集剂、以化学方法和/或在物理上使硝酸钠改性且然后硝酸钠被汽化并输送到检测器中时的离子迁移率光谱。如图5A中所示,由于硝酸钠在与草酸的相互作用之后被汽化并接着从解吸塔输送到检测器中,检测器能够对硝酸钠的存在进行响应(大约4.5标定刻度单位的峰值位置)。
因此,如在示例1中所示的,当汽化的草酸被引入到解吸塔中并与硝酸钠相互作用时,硝酸钠被改性,使得解吸塔使硝酸钠汽化并接着最终将汽化的硝酸钠输送到检测器中用于检测。
示例2
示例2是实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质到更易挥发的形式的转换的示例性实施例。图6描绘当硝酸钠存在于采样捕集器上且草酸再一次用作群集剂时的离子迁移率光谱。如在图6中看到的,硝酸钠在与草酸的相互作用之后被检测到。然而,如进一步在图6中看到的,当草酸继续进入解吸塔中时,硝酸钠的峰值消失。
因此,示例2示出如果太多的群集剂被供应到解吸塔,则最终硝酸钠的信号被抑制。因此,在一些实施例中在较低速率下以脉动方式或以连续方式引入群集剂是重要的,以便不抑制感兴趣物质的信号。
示例3
示例3是恒定数量的群集剂(草酸)和变化数量的感兴趣物质(硝酸钠)的效应的示例性实施例。具体地,如图7中所示,当硝酸钠的数量增加时,所提供的检测器增加响应。因此,示例3示出以恒定方式引入草酸导致当草酸的流速率在正确的速率处时对硝酸钠的增加的响应的检测。
示例4
示例4是以脉动方式引入群集剂(草酸)的效应的示例性实施例。具体地,如图8中所示,脉冲宽度指示解吸塔门入口打开多长时间来使群集剂进入解吸塔中并与感兴趣物质进行反应。示例4指示当草酸以脉动方式被引入时,检测器仍然检测到硝酸钠的存在。此外,图8示出示例的最佳脉冲宽度。也就是说,如果脉冲太短,则没有足够的群集剂被引入,而如果脉冲太长,则更难从检测器的背景解析硝酸钠峰值。
示例5
示例5是帘流速率对硝酸钠的检测的影响的示例性实施例,其中草酸用作群集剂。具体地,如图9中所示,如果帘流速率变得太高,则群集剂开始从解吸塔被推出并进入检测器中,而没有与硝酸钠相互作用的时间;相反,如果流速率太低,则不足数量的群集剂到达检测器。在这样的情况下,硝酸钠未被汽化且因此最终未在检测器中被检测到。因此,图9指示必须使用帘流速率的正确数量以便检测感兴趣物质。
示例6
示例6是恒定数量的群集剂(草酸)和增加数量的感兴趣物质(硝酸钾)随着时间的过去的效应的示例性实施例。具体地,如图10中所示,当硝酸钾的数量在解吸塔中增加且草酸的数量保持恒定时,检测器仍然能够对硝酸钾的存在进行响应。因此,示例6示出草酸以化学方法和/或在物理上使硝酸钾改性,使得硝酸钾被汽化、输送到检测器并被识别。
示例7
示例7是恒定数量的群集剂(草酸)和增加数量的感兴趣物质(氯酸钠)随着时间的过去的效应的示例性实施例。具体地,如图11中所示,当氯酸钠的数量在解吸塔中增加且草酸的数量保持恒定时,检测器仍然能够对氯酸钠的存在进行响应。因此,示例7示出草酸以化学方法和/或在物理上使氯酸钠改性,使得氯酸钠被汽化、输送到检测器并被识别。
此外,如示例7(图11)中所示,当草酸未被引入到解吸塔中时,氯酸钠未被检测到,如由曲线图上的三角形识别的。此外,在曲线图上的正方形符号表示当草酸存在但氯酸钠不存在(即系统空白)时的试验性运行。
示例8
示例8是草酸到解吸塔的连续和脉动引入两者的效应的示例性实施例,其中解吸塔包括包含氯酸钠的捕集器。具体地,如图12A中所示,当草酸被连续地供应但没有氯酸钠存在于捕集器上时,则没有峰值被检测到。如图12D中所示,当氯酸钠存在于解吸塔中的捕集器上但没有草酸被引入到解吸塔中时,则当感兴趣物质输送到检测器中时氯酸钠未被检测器检测到。
然而,如图12B中所示,当氯酸钠存在于解吸塔中的捕集器上且草酸连续地被供应到解吸塔时,则当感兴趣物质输送到对应于大约3.7标定刻度单位的漂移时间的检测器中时氯酸钠被检测到。此外,如图12C中所示,当氯酸钠存在于解吸塔中的捕集器上且草酸以脉动方式被供应到解吸塔时,也检测到大约3.7标定刻度单位的氯酸钠峰值。因此,示例8证明不管是连续地还是以脉动方式被供应,草酸在使氯酸钠改性时都是有效的,使得氯酸钠在检测器中被检测到。
示例9

用于确定感兴趣物质的存在的物质检测系统和操作这样的系统的方法的示例性实施例不限于本文所述的特定实施例,但更确切地,系统的部件和/或方法的步骤可独立地并与本文所述的其它部件和/或步骤分开地被利用。例如,方法也可结合需要确定感兴趣物质的存在的其它系统来使用,且不限于仅使用如本文所述的物质检测系统和方法来实践。更确切地,可结合当前配置成确定感兴趣物质的存在的许多其它物质检测应用来实现和利用示例性实施例。

Claims (20)
1.一种用于检测感兴趣物质的方法,所述方法包括:
在采样捕集器上收集实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质的样品;
将所述捕集器插入到热解吸塔中;
将汽化的群集剂引入到所述解吸塔中,其中所述群集剂增加所述感兴趣物质的挥发性;
使所述感兴趣物质汽化;
将汽化的感兴趣物质输送到检测器中;
执行所述感兴趣物质的分析;以及
检测所述感兴趣物质。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述群集剂包括有机酸、冠醚、胺、酯、酰胺及其组合中的至少一个。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述感兴趣物质包括炸药、含能材料、爆炸物示踪剂、麻醉剂、毒素、化学战剂、生物战剂、污染物质、杀虫剂、有毒工业化学物质、有毒工业材料、自制炸药、药物微量污染物及其组合中的至少一个。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中所述感兴趣物质包括硝酸盐、氯酸盐、高氯酸盐、亚硝酸盐、亚氯酸盐、高锰酸盐、铬酸盐、重铬酸盐、溴酸盐、碘酸盐及其组合中的至少一个。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述汽化的群集剂在从大约5 cc/min到大约1,000cc/min的流速率下被引入到所述解吸塔中。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述汽化的群集剂在从大约0.01 µg/min到大约250µg/min的浓度下被引入到所述解吸塔中。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述检测器包括离子迁移率光谱仪(IMS)、离子阱迁移率光谱仪(ITMS)、漂移光谱仪(DS)、抽吸离子迁移率光谱仪、非线性漂移光谱仪、场离子光谱仪(FIS)、射频离子迁移增量谱仪(IMIS)、场非对称离子迁移率光谱仪(FAIMS)、超高场FAIMS、微分离子迁移率光谱仪(DIMS)、微分迁移率光谱仪(DMS)、漂移光谱仪、非线性漂移光谱仪、超高FAIMS、捕集离子迁移率光谱仪(TIMS)、行波离子迁移率光谱仪、半导体气体传感器、拉曼光谱仪、激光二极管检测器、质谱仪(MS)、气相色谱仪(GC)、电子捕获检测器、光致电离检测器、基于化学发光的检测器、电化学传感器、红外光谱仪、芯片实验室检测器及其组合中的至少一个。
8.一种用于检测感兴趣物质的方法,所述方法包括:
增加实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质的挥发性,其中通过将汽化的群集剂施加到所述感兴趣物质来增加所述感兴趣物质的挥发性;
使在热解吸塔中的所述感兴趣物质汽化;以及
将汽化的感兴趣物质输送到检测器中,其中所述检测器执行所述汽化的感兴趣物质的分析并检测所述感兴趣物质。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述群集剂包括有机酸、冠醚、胺、酯、酰胺及其组合中的至少一个。
10.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述感兴趣物质包括炸药、含能材料、爆炸物示踪剂、麻醉剂、毒素、化学战剂、生物战剂、污染物质、杀虫剂、有毒工业化学物质、有毒工业材料、自制炸药、药物微量污染物及其组合中的至少一个。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述感兴趣物质包括硝酸盐、氯酸盐、高氯酸盐、亚硝酸盐、亚氯酸盐、高锰酸盐、铬酸盐、重铬酸盐、溴酸盐、碘酸盐及其组合中的至少一个。
12.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述汽化的群集剂在从大约5 cc/min到大约1,000cc/min的流速率下被施加。
13.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述汽化的群集剂在从大约0.01 µg/min到大约250µg/min的浓度下被施加。
14.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述检测器包括离子迁移率光谱仪(IMS)、离子阱迁移率光谱仪(ITMS)、漂移光谱仪(DS)、抽吸离子迁移率光谱仪、非线性漂移光谱仪、场离子光谱仪(FIS)、射频离子迁移增量谱仪(IMIS)、场非对称离子迁移率光谱仪(FAIMS)、超高场FAIMS、微分离子迁移率光谱仪(DIMS)、微分迁移率光谱仪(DMS)、漂移光谱仪、非线性漂移光谱仪、超高FAIMS、捕集离子迁移率光谱仪(TIMS)、行波离子迁移率光谱仪、半导体气体传感器、拉曼光谱仪、激光二极管检测器、质谱仪(MS)、气相色谱仪(GC)、电子捕获检测器、光致电离检测器、基于化学发光的检测器、电化学传感器、红外光谱仪、芯片实验室检测器及其组合中的至少一个。
15.一种物质检测系统,所述系统包括:
采样捕集器,其包括实质上非挥发性的感兴趣物质;
壳体,其包括群集剂,所述壳体配置成使群集剂汽化;
热解吸塔,其配置成接纳所述采样捕集器,其中所述解吸塔配置成使所述感兴趣物质汽化;
输送管线,其中所述输送管线将所述壳体连接到所述解吸塔并将汽化的群集剂从所述壳体输送到所述解吸塔,其中所述汽化的群集剂增加所述感兴趣物质的挥发性;
分析设备,其与所述解吸塔流动连通地耦合,所述分析设备配置成从所述解吸塔接收所述汽化的感兴趣物质并执行所述感兴趣物质的分析。
16.如权利要求15所述的系统,其中所述群集剂包括有机酸、冠醚、胺、酯、酰胺及其组合中的至少一个。
17.如权利要求15所述的系统,其中所述感兴趣物质包括炸药、含能材料、爆炸物示踪剂、麻醉剂、毒素、化学战剂、生物战剂、污染物质、杀虫剂、有毒工业化学物质、有毒工业材料、自制炸药、药物微量污染物及其组合中的至少一个。
18.如权利要求17所述的系统,其中所述感兴趣物质包括硝酸盐、氯酸盐、高氯酸盐、亚硝酸盐、亚氯酸盐、高锰酸盐、铬酸盐、重铬酸盐、溴酸盐、碘酸盐及其组合中的至少一个。
19.如权利要求15所述的系统,其中所述汽化的群集剂在从大约5 cc/min到大约1,000cc/min的流速率下被输送到所述解吸塔。
20.如权利要求15所述的系统,其中所述汽化的群集剂在从大约0.01 µg/min到大约250 µg/min的浓度下被输送到所述解吸塔。
