Description

Information processing method, mobile management entity and terminal
Technical Field
The present invention relates to information processing technologies, and in particular, to an information processing method, a mobility management entity, and a terminal.
Background
An emergency call refers to a call made by a user to an alarm or a call for help, such as 112, 110, 119, 120, and the countries stipulate that whether the terminal is inserted into a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) or not, whether the terminal is defaulting or not, the operator must provide the user with an available network and quickly provide the user with an effective emergency call service.
Generally, for an operator, emergency call services can be provided for a user through a client/server (CS) network and also through a volte (voice over lte) network; here, the emergency call provided through the CS network is referred to as a CS emergency call, and the emergency call provided through the VoLTE network is referred to as an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) emergency call (IMS asynchronous emergency call). In practical applications, when a terminal is attached to a network, if the network has an IMS emergency call capability, a Mobility Management Entity (MME) in the network may issue an "IMS emergency service supported" parameter, so that the terminal preferentially uses the IMS emergency call according to the "IMS emergency service supported" parameter, and if the IMS emergency call cannot be used, the terminal falls back to a CS network to provide the CS emergency call for the terminal through the CS network.
In some countries, in order to avoid malicious dialing of an emergency number by a user, when a terminal uses an IMS emergency call service through a VoLTE network, the terminal must first register in the IMS and pass identity authentication; here, there are two ways of registration, one is normal registration and one is emergency registration. When the user belongs to the VoLTE network, only ordinary registration can be carried out; however, if the user does not perform the normal registration or roams while the user completes the normal registration, the IMS emergency call service provided by the VoLTE network may be used after the emergency registration is completed. Here, the path of the emergency registration needs to go through the roaming P-CSCF to the home S-CSCF.
Further, if IMS registration and identity authentication cannot pass, the processing method of the 3GPP standard is that the terminal initiates an IMS emergency call request through the terminal identifier, that is, an IMS emergency call without a SIM terminal, but at this time, the network side may not support the IMS emergency call, and when the IMS emergency call is not supported, the call falls back to the CS network.
Obviously, the processing flow of the emergency call without the SIM terminal is too cumbersome, and since the terminal cannot know the network capability, that is, the capability of the network to support the IMS emergency call, it must go to the last step according to the standard flow to determine what mode to use, and what network provides the emergency call service for the terminal, the processing flow of the emergency call of the existing cardless user increases network useless signaling, increases network burden, and simultaneously, reduces the processing efficiency of the emergency call, thereby causing the user not to be rescued in time.

Detailed Description
At present, the GSM association (GSMA) has proposed a set of VoLTE international Roaming architecture based on S8Home routing (S8HR, S8Home Routed), and under this architecture, the visited site is only EPC (evolved Packet core) network, and the EPC network mainly consists of network elements such as MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF, so there is no Roaming NNI interface from the visited site P-CSCF to the Home site S-CSCF, which results in the terminal being unable to complete emergency registration and identity authentication, and further unable to use IMS emergency call service, and needs to fall back to the CS network. Fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a conventional VoLTE terminal based on an S8HR framework acquiring an emergency call service; as shown in fig. 1, the process includes:
step 101: the VoLTE terminal attaches a roaming network in a roaming place;
here, the roaming place may also be referred to as a visited place; i.e. the roaming network is also a visited network. The VoLTE terminal is a terminal provided with an SIM.
Step 102: the MME of the roaming network issues an IMS emergency service capability (IMSemergency service supported) parameter to the VoLTE terminal;
step 103: the VoLTE terminal judges the attribute of the IMS emergency service supported parameter; when the attribute is 1, executing step 104; when the attribute is 0, directly executing step 108;
step 104: the VoLTE terminal attempts to initiate an IMS emergency call from a current network;
step 105: the VoLTE terminal establishes an emergency PDN connection through a P-CSCF of a roaming place;
step 106: the VoLTE terminal initiates emergency registration through the established emergency PDN connection; here, the register message needs to pass through the P-CSCF of the roaming place and the S-CSCF of the home place;
step 107: the emergency registration fails;
step 108: the VoLTE terminal attempts an emergency call from the CS network.
It can be seen from the process that, since there is no Roaming NNI interface from the P-CSCF in the visited network to the S-CSCF in the home location in the EPC, the terminal cannot complete emergency registration and identity authentication, and further cannot use the IMS emergency call service, and needs to drop back to the CS network, but since the terminal cannot know the network capability, that is, the capability of the network to support the IMS emergency call, the terminal must be executed to the last step according to the above procedure to drop back to the CS network.
To solve the above problems, embodiments of the present invention provide an information processing method, and in order to understand features and technical contents of the present invention more thoroughly, implementations of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, which are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended to limit the present invention.
Example one
FIG. 2 is a first flowchart illustrating an implementation of an information processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention; the method is applied to a Mobile Management Entity (MME); as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
step 201: when detecting that a target terminal is attached to a network corresponding to the target terminal, determining capability information of the network for supporting an IMS emergency call; the network is used for representing the currently visited network of the target terminal;
in an embodiment, the network currently visited by the target terminal is not the home network of the target terminal, and is a roaming network, that is, a roaming network.
Step 202: setting a call capability parameter according to the capability information supporting the IMS emergency call;
in this embodiment, the call capability parameter includes: an IMS emergency service capability (IMS emergency services up) parameter and an IMS emergency call capability parameter; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the IMS emergency service capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for providing IMS emergency service;
the IMS emergency call capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for supporting the IMS emergency call of the first type terminal; the first type terminal is a terminal without a customer identification module; that is, the IMS emergency call capability parameter can characterize the capability of an IMS emergency call of a terminal not installed with a SIM (IMS anonymous emergency call supported).
In another specific embodiment, the call capability parameter further includes: an international roaming type parameter; the international roaming type parameter is used for representing a roaming agreement type signed between the network attached to the target terminal and a home network of the target terminal.
Step 203: and sending the call capability parameter to the target terminal so that the target terminal selects an emergency call mode matched with the attached network according to the call capability parameter.
Here, the emergency call mode may specifically represent a network finally selected when the target terminal makes an emergency call, and an emergency call mode corresponding to the selected network, for example, the terminal selects the currently attached network and makes an IMS emergency call; or, the terminal selects the CS network and makes a CS emergency call through the CS network.
In practical applications, the MME may set an attribute of a call capability parameter, for example, respectively set an attribute of an IMS emergency service capability parameter, an attribute of an IMS emergency call capability parameter, and an attribute of an international roaming type parameter according to the capability information supporting an IMS emergency call, and further, send the call capability parameter carrying the attributes to the target terminal, so that the target terminal selects an emergency call mode matching the attached network according to the attribute corresponding to the call capability parameter.
Here, the attribute may be specifically a numerical value, for example, when the IMS emergency service capability parameter indicates that the network supports IMS emergency services, that is, a service capable of providing IMS emergency services, the attribute of the IMS emergency service capability parameter has a first numerical value; when the IMS emergency service capability parameter indicates that the network does not support IMS emergency service, namely, the network cannot provide services of the IMS emergency service, the attribute of the IMS emergency service capability parameter has a second value; the first value and the second value are different.
Similarly, when the IMS emergency call capability parameter indicates that the network supports an IMS emergency call for the first type terminal, that is, the network can provide a service for the IMS emergency call for the first type terminal, the IMS emergency call capability parameter has a third value; when the IMS emergency call capability parameter indicates that the network does not support an IMS emergency call for the first type terminal, that is, cannot provide a service for an IMS emergency call for the first type terminal, the IMS emergency call capability parameter has a fourth value; the third value and the fourth value are different.
Further, when the international roaming type parameter indicates that the roaming agreement signed between the network to which the target terminal is attached and the home network of the target terminal is of a second type, the attribute of the international roaming type parameter is a fifth numerical value; when the international roaming type parameter represents that a roaming agreement signed between the network attached to the target terminal and the home network of the target terminal is a third type, the attribute of the international roaming type parameter is a sixth numerical value; the second type and the third type are different; the fifth numerical value and the sixth numerical value are different.
Therefore, the MME can set the call capability parameter according to the capability information of the network supporting the IMS emergency call, and further sends the call capability parameter to the target terminal, so that the target terminal selects the emergency call mode matched with the attached network according to the call capability parameter, and therefore the embodiment of the invention simplifies the processing flow of the emergency call.
In addition, even if the target terminal described in this embodiment is a terminal without an SIM, since the terminal without an SIM can receive the call capability parameter, the terminal without an SIM can select an emergency call mode matching the current network according to the call capability parameter, and can determine what network is used without proceeding to the end according to the standard flow, and what mode provides an emergency call for the terminal.
Further, since the terminal can acquire the capability information of the network, that is, the capability information of the network supporting the IMS emergency call can be acquired through the call capability parameter, even if the method is applied to the S8HR framework, the method according to the embodiment of the present invention does not need to execute the process shown in fig. 1 to the end to determine the network that finally provides the emergency call for the terminal, thereby reducing the useless signaling of the network, reducing the network load, and simultaneously, improving the processing efficiency of the emergency call, and laying a foundation for the user to be able to timely rescue the terminal.
In order to implement the method described in the first embodiment, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a mobility management entity, and as shown in fig. 3, the mobility management entity includes:
a detecting unit 31, configured to determine, when detecting that a target terminal is attached to a network corresponding to the target terminal, capability information that the network supports an IMS emergency call; the network is used for representing the currently visited network of the target terminal;
a parameter setting unit 32, configured to set a call capability parameter according to the capability information supporting the IMS emergency call;
a sending unit 33, configured to send the call capability parameter to the target terminal, so that the target terminal selects an emergency call mode matching the attached network according to the call capability parameter.
In this embodiment, the call capability parameter includes: an IMS emergency services capability parameter and an IMS emergency call capability parameter; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the IMS emergency service capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for providing IMS emergency service;
the IMS emergency call capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for supporting the IMS emergency call of the first type terminal; the first type terminal is a terminal without a customer identification module.
In this embodiment, the call capability parameter further includes: an international roaming type parameter; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the international roaming type parameter is used for representing a roaming agreement type signed between the network attached to the target terminal and a home network of the target terminal.
In this embodiment, the parameter setting unit 32 is further configured to determine an attribute corresponding to the call capability parameter according to the capability information supporting the IMS emergency call;
correspondingly, the sending unit 33 is further configured to send the call capability parameter with the attribute to the target terminal, so that the target terminal selects an emergency call mode matched with the attached network according to the attribute corresponding to the call capability parameter.
It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the functions of each processing unit in the mobility management entity in the embodiments of the present invention may be understood by referring to the related description of the information processing method in the embodiments, and are not described herein again.
Example two
FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of a second implementation flow of the information processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention; the method is applied to the terminal; as shown in fig. 4, the method includes:
step 401: when the target terminal is attached to a network, receiving a call capability parameter issued by a Mobile Management Entity (MME) in the network; the network is used for representing the currently visited network of the target terminal;
in an embodiment, the network currently visited by the target terminal is not the home network of the target terminal, and is a roaming network, that is, a roaming network.
In this embodiment, the call capability parameter includes: an IMS emergency service capability (IMS emergency services up) parameter and an IMS emergency call capability parameter; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the IMS emergency service capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for providing IMS emergency service;
the IMS emergency call capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for supporting the IMS emergency call of the first type terminal; the first type terminal is a terminal without a customer identification module; that is, the IMS emergency call capability parameter can characterize the capability of an IMS emergency call of a terminal not installed with a SIM (IMS anonymous emergency call supported).
In another specific embodiment, the call capability parameter further includes: an international roaming type parameter; the international roaming type parameter is used for representing a roaming agreement type signed between the network attached to the target terminal and a home network of the target terminal.
Step 402: and selecting an emergency call mode matched with the attached network according to the call capability parameter.
In practical applications, the MME may set an attribute of a call capability parameter, for example, respectively set an attribute of an IMS emergency service capability parameter, an attribute of an IMS emergency call capability parameter, and an attribute of an international roaming type parameter according to the capability information supporting the IMS emergency call, and further, send the call capability parameter carrying the attribute to the target terminal, and the target terminal receives the call capability parameter carrying the attribute sent by the MME; and then selecting an emergency call mode matched with the attached network according to the attribute corresponding to the call capability parameter.
In order to implement the method described in the second embodiment, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a terminal, and as shown in fig. 5, the terminal includes:
a receiving unit 51, configured to receive a call capability parameter sent by a mobility management entity MME in the network when the target terminal is attached to the network; the network is used for representing the currently visited network of the target terminal;
and the processing unit 52 is configured to select an emergency call mode matching the attached network according to the call capability parameter.
In this embodiment, the call capability parameter includes: an IMS emergency services capability parameter and an IMS emergency call capability parameter; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the IMS emergency service capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for providing IMS emergency service;
the IMS emergency call capability parameter is used for representing the capability of the network for supporting the IMS emergency call of the first type terminal; the first type terminal is a terminal without a customer identification module.
In this embodiment, the call capability parameter further includes: an international roaming type parameter; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the international roaming type parameter is used for representing a roaming agreement type signed between the network attached to the target terminal and a home network of the target terminal.
In this embodiment, the receiving unit is further configured to receive the call capability parameter with an attribute sent by the MME;
correspondingly, the processing unit is further configured to select an emergency call mode matched with the attached network according to the attribute corresponding to the call capability parameter.
Those skilled in the art should understand that the functions of each processing unit in the terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention can be understood by referring to the related description of the second information processing method according to the embodiment, and are not described herein again.
EXAMPLE III
The embodiment of the invention provides a specific information processing method; when a VoLTE terminal provided with an SIM is attached to a network, an MME in the network acquires the capability information of the network supporting IMS emergency calls, sets a call capability parameter according to the capability information supporting the IMS emergency calls, and sends the call capability parameter to the VoLTE terminal;
here, the call capability parameter specifically includes: an IMS emergency service capability (IMS emergency service supported) parameter, an IMS emergency call capability (IMS anonymous emergency call supported) parameter of a terminal without an SIM, and an International roaming type (International roaming type) parameter, where the IMS anonymous call supported parameter is a newly added parameter used to explain to the terminal the capability of the network to support IMS anonymous call, and has two attributes, values of which are 1 and 0, where 0 indicates no support, and 1 indicates support; the International roaming type parameter is also a newly added parameter, is used for explaining a roaming protocol signed by a current visited network and a terminal home network to the terminal, and also has two attributes, and the values are S8HR and LBO respectively; wherein the S8HR indicates that the two-party operator roaming agreement is based on the S8HR architecture, and the LBO indicates that the two-party operator roaming agreement is based on the Local Breakout architecture.
The following clearly describes that the VoLTE terminal selects different emergency call modes according to different values of parameters; as shown in fig. 6, specifically:
step 601: attaching a VoLTE terminal to a roaming network;
step 602: the MME corresponding to the roaming network sends a call capability parameter to the VoLTE terminal; wherein, the call capability parameter comprises an IMS emergent service supported parameter, an IMS anonymous calling supported parameter and an International roaming type parameter;
step 603: judging the parameter value of the IMS emergency service supported parameter; when the value is 1, executing step 604; when the value is 0, step 607 is executed.
Step 604: judging the parameter value of the International roaming type parameter; when the value is LBO, execute step 606; when the value is S8HR, execute step 605;
step 605: judging the parameter value of the IMS anonymous occurrence call supported parameter; when the value is 0, execute step 607; when the value is 1, executing step 606;
step 606: the VoLTE terminal attempting to initiate an emergency call from IMS;
step 607: the VoLTE terminal attempts to initiate an emergency call from the CS.
That is, fig. 6 characterizes the following four cases, respectively:
case 1: when the attribute of the IMS emergency service supported parameter is 0, no matter what value the attribute of the International roaming type is, the VoLTE terminal selects the CS network and directly attempts a CS emergency call from the CS network.
Case 2: when the attribute of the IMS emergency service supported parameter is 1 and the attribute of the International type parameter is LBO, no matter what value the IMS anonymous service call supported parameter takes, the VoLTE terminal tries to initiate the IMS emergency call through the currently attached network;
here, since the VoLTE terminal can complete emergency registration under the LBO architecture, the subsequent IMS emergency call procedure can be completed smoothly.
Case 3: when the attribute of the emergent service supported parameter is 1, the attribute of the International type parameter is S8HR, and the attribute of the IMS anonymous calling supported parameter is 0, the VoLTE terminal selects the CS network and directly tries the CS emergency call from the CS network.
