Figures 1-5 show a toy building element according to an embodiment of the invention. The toy building element comprises an element body 10 and a first connection piece 20, which are injection molded in hard plastic.
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 5, the element body 10 includes an integrally formed support tray 11 and a support post 12 provided on the support tray 11. Wherein, the supporting disc 11 is provided with n×m connecting holes 13, N and M are integers greater than 2. In this embodiment, N and M are both 3, so that the support disc 11 is square; moreover, the toy building element formed by the element body 10 and the first connecting piece 20 is a cube as a whole, so that the smooth proceeding of toy building is prevented from being influenced due to inconsistent side lengths in the process of building a plurality of toy building elements, and the user experience is improved.
Further, the connection hole 13 is circular or cross-shaped, and can be matched with other toy building elements (such as connection pins) through the circular or cross-shaped connection hole 13 so as to meet user experience. It will be appreciated that each first connector 20 may be fitted with a toy building element provided with a second connector 50 to achieve a tight fit between the two toy building elements, completing the toy building process. As shown in fig. 6, the toy building element comprises a connection body 53 and a second connection piece 50 connected to the connection body 53; wherein the second connection member 50 is provided with a connection post 52 on the connection body 53 and a connection pad 51 connected to the connection post 52. Specifically, the connection disc 51 is square, and the connection post 52 may be a cylinder or a quadrangular prism; the connection disc 51 and the connection post 52 are coaxial and arranged in a T-shape. The connecting post 52 of the second connecting piece 50 is provided with a limiting clamping groove 41, and one end of the connecting post 52, which is close to the connecting disc 51, is provided with a second chamfer 521.
As shown in fig. 2, the receiving groove 30 includes a disc groove 31 for receiving the connection disc 51 and a column groove 32 for receiving the connection column 52, which are provided in an inverted T shape, and in order to secure the tightness of the connection, the size of the disc groove 31 is matched with the size of the connection disc 51 of the second connection member 50; the size of the post recess 32 matches the size of the connecting post 52 of the second connector 50. The inner walls of the bottom plate 24, the top plate 25, the left side plate 21, the right side plate 22, and the rear side plate 23 cooperate to define a plate slot 31 for receiving the connecting plate 51. The top plate 25 is provided with a column groove 32. Specifically, the top plate 25 includes an integrally formed top plate left portion 251, top plate rear portion 253, and top plate right portion 252, with the inner side walls of the top plate left portion 251, top plate rear portion 253, and top plate right portion 252 defining the column slots 32 for receiving the connecting columns 52. In this embodiment, the distance between the left top plate 251 and the right top plate 252 is identical to the diameter of the cylindrical connecting post 52, so that the post slot 32 is more tightly matched with the connecting post 52, and is not easy to fall off.
When two toy building elements are to be built, the second connection piece 50 on the other toy building elements is to be inserted into the receiving groove 30 of the first connection piece 20 of the toy building element provided in this embodiment, the assembly process is simple and convenient, and no special assembly tools are required. In order to ensure tightness of the connection of the two toy building elements, a snap-fit assembly is provided on the second coupling member 50 and the first coupling member 20. The buckle assembly comprises a limit clamping groove 41 and a limit clamping protrusion 42 which are matched with each other, wherein the limit clamping groove 41 and the limit clamping protrusion 42 are respectively arranged on the second connecting piece 50 and the first connecting piece 20. The limit clamping groove 41 is matched with the limit clamping protrusion 42 so as to realize the close fit of the first connecting piece 20 and the second connecting piece 50, thereby ensuring the connection tightness between the two toy building elements and avoiding mutual falling off in the toy building process.
It will be appreciated that when two toy building elements are assembled, only the first coupling member 20 of the toy building element and the second coupling member 50 of the other toy building element need be subjected to forces in opposite directions, such that the limit catch groove 41 cooperates with the limit catch protrusion 42. When two toy building elements are to be assembled and disassembled, only two opposite forces need to be applied to the first connecting piece 20 of the toy building element and the second connecting piece 50 of the other toy building element, so that the limit clamping protrusions 42 are separated from the limit clamping grooves 41, and the assembly and disassembly processes are simple and do not need to use specific tools.
In this embodiment, a limiting clip protrusion 42 is disposed on the post slot 32 of the first connecting member 20; correspondingly, the connecting post 52 of the second connecting piece 50 is provided with a limit clamping groove 41, as shown in fig. 1, 4, 5 and 6. Specifically, a set of limit clamping protrusions 42 are disposed at opposite positions on the inner side walls of the left top plate 251 and the right top plate 252 of the first connector 20, and when the second connector 50 is inserted into the accommodating groove 30 of the first connector 20, the limit clamping protrusions 42 disposed on the left top plate 251 and the right top plate 252 of the first connector 20 are inserted into the limit clamping grooves 41 on the connecting post 52 of the second connector 50, so as to achieve tight fit between the first connector 20 and the second connector 50, and avoid falling. In this embodiment, the distance from the limit catch 42 on the left and right top plate portions 251, 252 to the rear side plate 23 is half the length of the left or right side plate 21, 22, so that the second connector 50 is positioned in the middle of the first connector 20 when it is inserted into the first connector 20, facilitating the cooperation with other toy building elements. It will be appreciated that the positions of the stop catch 41 and stop catch projection 42 are interchangeable.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, a strip-shaped groove 26 is formed on each of the left top plate 251 and the right top plate 252; the strip-shaped groove 26 is parallel to the opening direction of the accommodating groove 30, namely, is equal to the direction of inserting the second connecting piece 50 into the accommodating groove 30; and is disposed at a position close to the limit clamping protrusion 42 or the limit clamping groove 41, so that a deformation thin wall 261 is formed between the strip-shaped groove 26 and the limit clamping protrusion 42 or the limit clamping groove 41. When the first connector 20 and the second connector 50 are assembled or separated, the deformed thin wall 261 is deformed to a certain extent, so that the limit clamping protrusion 42 is inserted into the limit clamping groove 41 or the limit clamping protrusion 42 is separated from the limit clamping groove 41.
As shown in fig. 1, 2, 4 and 5, at least one fastening rib 27 is respectively arranged on the inner walls of the top plate 25, the left side plate 21 and the right side plate 22; moreover, the direction in which the fastening rib 27 and the second connecting piece 50 are inserted into the accommodating groove 30 is parallel, so that the connection tightness of the connecting disc 51 and the accommodating groove 30 is ensured, the falling-off of the toy building element in the building process is avoided, and the user experience is influenced. Wherein, the inner walls of the top plate left part 251, the top plate right part 252, the left side plate 21, the right side plate 22 and the rear side plate 23 are respectively provided with a fastening rib 27; the fastening ribs 27 of the top left portion 251 and the top right portion 252 are located on the inner side of the deformed thin wall 261.
In order to ensure the connection tightness of the first and second connection members 20 and 50, the distance from the fastening rib 27 on the bottom plate 24 to the fastening rib 27 on the top plate 25 is consistent with the thickness of the connection disc 51 of the first connection member 20, the distance between the fastening rib 27 on the left side plate 21 and the fastening rib 27 on the right side plate 22 is consistent with the side length of the square connection disc 51, and the linear contact between the fastening rib 27 and the connection disc 51 makes the fit of the disc slot 31 and the connection disc 51 tighter, and is not easy to fall off.
As shown in fig. 1, 4 and 5, the end of the fastening rib 27 away from the rear side plate 23 is provided with a chamfer 271, i.e., the end of the fastening rib 27 near the opening of the receiving groove 30 is provided with a chamfer 271 to facilitate the insertion of the second connecting member 50 into the receiving groove 30. Further, rounded corners 255 are provided on the left and right top plate portions 251, 252 near the opening of the column groove 32 to facilitate insertion of the connecting column 52 into the column groove 32.
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, the inner sidewall edges of the top left portion 251, the top rear portion 253, and the top right portion 252 are provided with first chamfers 254, respectively. The first chamfer 254 and the second chamfer 521 cooperate to enhance the tightness of the mating of the first connector 20 and the second connector 50.
