Description

Network registration method, device, mobile terminal and computer readable storage medium
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications technologies, and in particular, to a network registration method, an apparatus, a mobile terminal, and a computer-readable storage medium.
Background
As society develops, people communicate more and more frequently between regions, and therefore, mobile terminal users often move between different location areas, such as between roaming sites and home sites, and between roaming sites. And the roaming place and the home place, and the cross-border overlapping area of the network exists between the roaming places.
The existing mobile terminal registration specification includes two ways. One is to select the last registered PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) before power-off or Network disconnection when power-on; another is to Search for a home by minimum periodic Search Timer or T-interval reselection in the card. Therefore, in the overlapping area of the different location areas, the network to which the mobile terminal is connected may not be the network to which the user wishes to connect.
When a user makes a cross-border journey, for example, when the user holding the us card goes from hong kong to shenzhen, the mobile terminal is connected to the network of the hong kong operator in hong kong, and when the user arrives at a port in shenzhen, the mobile terminal may remain registered to the network of the hong kong operator because the network of the hong kong operator still exists in the port part, and the mobile terminal may not be registered to the mobile network in shenzhen until the mobile terminal leaves the coverage area of the hong kong network. Obviously, after entering into Shenzhen, the user prefers to register with the local mobile network after crossing the border, although the hong Kong network exists. Likewise, when the user goes from Shenzhen to hong Kong, the user would prefer to access the network of the hong Kong local operator when arriving in hong Kong. The existing network registration mode has low speed of switching to the local network and poor user experience.

The invention provides a network registration method, a network registration device, a mobile terminal and a computer readable storage medium aiming at the problems in the prior art. By using the technical scheme of the invention, when a user travels across the border, the current position picture is compared with the pictures in the feature picture library, the local network after the border is quickly selected, and the experience degree of the user is improved. The techniques may be implemented in associated software or hardware, as described by way of example below.
Example 1
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a network registration method according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method includes the following steps:
step S21, when the mobile terminal enters into the overlapping area covered by the current cell and the cross-border adjacent cell together and the mobile terminal can access the adjacent cell, selecting the characteristic picture of the adjacent cell from a preset characteristic picture library, wherein the characteristic picture in the characteristic picture library is stored corresponding to the network identification of the cell of the picture shooting place.
For example, when a user travels across borders, when the user holding, for example, a us card (e.g., a SIM card) goes from hong kong to shenzhen, the network of the hong kong operator is connected to the mobile terminal in hong kong, and when the user arrives at a port in shenzhen, since the network of the hong kong operator still exists in the port region in shenzhen, the mobile terminal may remain registered with the network of the hong kong operator until the mobile terminal leaves the coverage region of the hong kong network, and then is registered with the mobile network local to shenzhen. Obviously, after entering into Shenzhen, though the hong Kong network exists, in general, the Shenzhen local network registered after crossing will obtain better service, and therefore, it is desirable for the user to quickly register only the local network after crossing. Likewise, when the user goes from Shenzhen to hong Kong, the user would prefer to access the network of the hong Kong local operator when arriving in hong Kong. Therefore, when judging whether the user has crossed the border, the mobile terminal can be determined to enter the overlapping area covered by the crossed adjacent areas.
The current cell is a cell currently registered by the mobile terminal, and the cross-border neighbor cell refers to a cell on the other side of a border or a port adjacent to the current cell at the border or the port or the like when a user prepares to perform cross-border travel across countries or regions. For example, when a user using the us card is preparing to go to hong kong on the Huang post port in Shenzhen, the cell in which the user is currently registered may be a cell of china mobile or Unicom, etc., and the border-crossing neighbor cell may be a cell covered by the network of the operator in hong kong. When a user makes Shenzhen from hong Kong through the Huang post port, the current cell may be the cell of the operator of hong Kong, and the cross-border neighbor cell may be the cell of China Mobile or Unicom, etc.
In addition, it is determined whether the mobile terminal can access the border-crossing neighbor cell not only when entering the overlapping area commonly covered with the border-crossing neighbor cell.
For example, when a user is ready to go from shenzhen to hong kong, the neighbor cell co-covered with the current cell may include cells of multiple operator-provided networks, and it is necessary to determine that the mobile terminal is in a region co-covered by the current cell and a cross-border neighbor cell that can be accessed.
After determining that the mobile terminal can access a certain cross-border neighbor cell, selecting a feature picture of the neighbor cell from a preset feature picture library, wherein the feature picture in the feature picture library is stored in correspondence with a network identifier of a cell where the picture is taken.
The preset feature picture library may be established by each operator, but may also be established by, for example, a mobile terminal vendor or a third party. The preset feature picture library can be stored in a server or a mobile terminal. The feature picture library stored in the mobile terminal may only include a condensed picture of the high frequency activity location of the user to reduce memory usage.
The preset feature picture library may be, for example, a corresponding library of feature pictures and Fast First high Priority PLMN, where the feature pictures are stored in correspondence with network identifiers of cells where the pictures are taken. Therefore, when the picture is selected from the preset feature picture library, only the feature picture shot in the adjacent cell can be selected according to the network identification of the cell where the picture is shot, and therefore the feature pictures needing to be compared are greatly reduced. The feature picture of the neighboring cell is a picture taken in an environment where an operator of the neighboring cell belongs. For example, when a user enters hong kong from Shenzhen border, a cell registered in Shenzhen is a current cell, a border neighbor cell is a cell of a hong kong operator, the border neighbor cell covers a part of a region in Shenzhen border, but the feature picture of the neighbor cell only comprises the feature picture shot in hong kong border.
Buildings and various public facilities with relatively prominent features are preferably included in the feature picture, and may be, for example, skyscrapers, landscape sculptures, fountains, station boards, location signboards, and the like.
In step S22, a current position picture is acquired. After determining that the image enters an overlapping area covered by the cross-border adjacent cell together and can be accessed to the adjacent cell, the current position image can also be acquired. The current location picture is obtained in order to determine in a subsequent step whether the user has crossed from the current cell to the interior of another country or region.
When the current position picture is acquired, one picture or a plurality of pictures can be acquired at a time. The current picture may be obtained by obtaining a current position picture actively taken by the user after entering the overlap region. For example, the current position picture actively taken by the user after entering the overlapping area may be extracted from the memory of the mobile terminal according to the shooting time of the picture. Or, after entering the overlapping area, the user is prompted to take a picture of the current location, particularly surrounding prominent buildings and various public facilities, such as skyscrapers, landscape sculptures, fountains, station boards, location signboards, and the like. Or after the overlapping area is determined to be entered, a camera of the mobile terminal can be started in the background to shoot a current position picture, and the state of the mobile phone can be detected before shooting. If the mobile phone is placed in the pocket of the user, the camera sensor can hardly detect the light incidence, and if all pixels are black, no shooting is performed. At this time, vibration, a warning tone and the like can be sent to remind the user of taking the picture of the current position.
Step S23, comparing the current position picture with the feature picture of the neighboring cell, determining whether the current position picture and the feature picture of the neighboring cell are consistent, and if not, repeating the steps of obtaining the current position picture and comparing.
If only one current position picture is obtained, comparing the current position picture with the feature pictures of the selected adjacent regions one by one, and determining whether the current position picture and the feature pictures are consistent. If a plurality of current position pictures are acquired at one time, comparing each current position picture with the feature picture of the selected adjacent cell one by one to determine whether the current position pictures are consistent with the feature picture of the selected adjacent cell. Such a comparison does not require that the two pictures are completely identical, and only needs to determine whether the current position picture contains the main or significant features in the feature picture.
Specifically, a preset feature picture library may have a plurality of feature pictures of border-crossing neighboring cells, and the current position picture and the feature pictures may be compared one by one to determine the similarity therebetween. For example, if the similarity between a certain current position picture and a feature picture reaches a preset similarity threshold, the two pictures are considered to be consistent.
If all the obtained current position pictures are inconsistent with the feature pictures of the selected adjacent cells, one or more new current position pictures can be obtained again, and then the new current position pictures are compared with the feature pictures of the selected adjacent cells one by one.
In addition, in order to avoid frequent picture comparison when the current position picture is inconsistent with the feature picture of the neighboring cell, a certain time interval may be set to obtain a new current position picture, for example, the time interval may be set to 1 to 30 minutes, for example, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 minutes. In addition, the user can be reminded to acquire a new current position picture according to the time interval.
And step S24, if the current position picture is judged to be consistent with the feature picture of the adjacent cell, registering the current position picture to the adjacent cell. For example, if the current location picture is consistent with the feature picture of the neighboring cell, the PLMN corresponding to the feature picture may be written into the Fast first high Priority PLMN value EFNASCONFIG(for Fast First highher Priority PLMN, see 3GPP TS 31.1024.2.94 for procedures see 3GPP TS 23.1224.4.3.1) to register to the neighbor, thereby enabling selection of a preferred network. As long as one current position picture is consistent with one feature picture of the adjacent cell, the current position picture can be registered to the adjacent cell.
Further, for example, it may be determined that the mobile terminal enters an overlapping area covered by the current cell and the cross-border neighbor cell together as follows:
when receiving a broadcast message of a neighboring cell of a current cell, extracting a network identifier of the neighboring cell in the broadcast message, or actively searching to obtain the network identifier of the neighboring cell;
and judging whether the adjacent cell is a cross-border adjacent cell or not according to the network identifier of the adjacent cell, and if the adjacent cell is the cross-border adjacent cell, judging that the overlapping area is entered.
Specifically, the network identifier of the current cell stored in the mobile terminal is read first, and the network identifier of the neighboring cell is compared with the network identifier of the current cell.
The Network identifier may include a PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) identifier, which is a PLMN number, for example 46000, 46002 china Mobile; 46001 China Unicom; 46003 China telecom; the PLMN number consists of two parts of MCC + MNC, wherein the MCC represents a mobile country number, and the MNC represents a mobile network number; the PLMN number may be obtained from an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI). The network identification may also include a geographical area identification, which may distinguish different cells of the same operator by the user. When the feature picture in the feature picture library is stored in correspondence with the network identifier of the cell where the picture was taken, the network identifier of the cell may include a PLMN and a geographical area identifier.
And when the MCC in the PLMN identification of the adjacent cell is judged to be inconsistent with the MCC in the PLMN identification of the current cell, judging that the cell enters an overlapping area which is covered by the adjacent cell across the border.
In addition, after it is determined that the mobile terminal enters the overlapping area, it may be determined that the mobile terminal can access the neighboring area, for example, by:
judging whether the combination of the PLMN identification and the wireless access technology type of the cross-border neighbor cell is in a combined list of the PLMN identification and the wireless access technology type of the mobile terminal, and if the combination of the PLMN identification and the wireless access technology type of the mobile terminal is in the combined list of the PLMN identification and the wireless access technology type of the mobile terminal, judging that the mobile terminal can be accessed to the neighbor cell.
If a user roaming agreement is signed between the user's home network and a foreign network (a cross-border network), the PLMN identity of the foreign network is stored in the mobile terminal, e.g. in a combined list of PLMN identities and radio access technology types, so that the user of the home network can access the foreign network.
Furthermore, different mobile terminals and different PLMNs may support different radio access technologies. Radio Access Technologies (Radio Access Technologies): also called air interface technology, is a key of wireless communication, and is associated with a set of communication technology protocols, such as LTE (Long Term Evolution), WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access), CDMA2000(Code Division Multiple Access 2000), TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access), GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications), CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), and so on. The list of available PLMNs for the mobile terminal may be generated at the mobile terminal, see 3GPP 23.1221.2 for definition.
For example, an operator of the cross-border neighboring cell signs a roaming agreement with a home network of the user, a PLMN identifier of the operator of the cross-border neighboring cell is stored in the mobile terminal, and the operator of the cross-border neighboring cell supports LTE, GSM, and the like, and the user mobile terminal also supports at least one of LTE and GSM, so that a combination of the PLMN identifier of the operator of the neighboring cell and a radio access technology type is in a combined list of the PLMN identifier of the mobile terminal and the radio access technology type, and the mobile terminal can access the neighboring cell.
When the mobile terminal is judged to enter an overlapping area which is covered by the cross-border adjacent area together and can be accessed to the adjacent area, comparing the current position picture with the feature picture of the adjacent area, and if the current position picture is consistent with the feature picture of the adjacent area, registering the current position picture to the adjacent area.
According to the network registration method provided by the embodiment, when a user travels across borders, for example, crosses borders from one roaming place to another roaming place, the user can quickly register to a new roaming place according to the registration method, so that a better local service can be obtained.
In addition, in the above description, an example is given in which the neighboring region feature picture is first selected from a preset feature picture library, and then the current position picture is obtained, however, the present invention is not limited to this, and the current position picture may be first obtained, and then the neighboring region feature picture is selected from the preset feature picture library; in addition, the current position picture can be obtained, and meanwhile, the neighbor feature picture can be selected from a preset feature picture library. Whether the current position picture is obtained first, the adjacent region feature picture is selected first, or both are carried out simultaneously are included in the protection scope of the invention.
Example 2
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a second network registration method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, in step S30, a minimum signal strength requirement is set in advance; in step S31, when the mobile terminal enters an overlapping area covered by the current cell and a cross-border neighboring cell together and the mobile terminal can access the neighboring cell, selecting a feature picture of the neighboring cell from a preset feature picture library, where the feature picture in the feature picture library is stored in correspondence with the network identifier of the cell where the picture is taken; in step S32, a current position picture is acquired; in step S33, comparing the current location picture with the feature picture of the neighboring cell, determining whether the current location picture and the feature picture of the neighboring cell are consistent, and if not, repeating the steps of obtaining the current location picture and comparing; when the current position picture is consistent with the feature picture of the neighboring cell, determining whether the signal strength of the neighboring cell meets the requirement of the lowest signal strength in step S34, and if the signal strength of the neighboring cell meets the requirement of the lowest signal strength, registering to the neighboring cell in step S36; if the signal strength of the neighboring cell does not meet the minimum signal strength requirement, determining whether the signal strength of the neighboring cell is greater than or equal to the signal strength of the current cell in step S35, and if the signal strength of the neighboring cell is greater than or equal to the signal strength of the current cell, registering to the neighboring cell in step S36; if the signal strength is less than the signal strength of the current cell, the registration with the current cell is maintained in step S37.
The main difference between embodiment 2 and embodiment 1 includes that the minimum signal strength requirement is preset, and the minimum signal strength requirement is the minimum signal strength requirement required to satisfy a certain communication quality, and may be set to-100 dBm, for example, and of course, may be set according to specific situations.
According to this embodiment, a cross-border neighbor is registered to the neighbor when it is greater than the minimum signal strength requirement. Therefore, a network registration to which the user desires to access is selected while securing the communication quality. Under the condition that the cross-border neighbor cell is lower than the lowest signal strength, the cross-border neighbor cell is also registered to the neighbor cell as long as the signal strength of the cross-border neighbor cell is greater than that of the current cell, so that the cell with relatively high signal strength is selected for registration, relatively good communication quality is obtained, and therefore the user experience can be further improved.
