The invention discloses a toner cartridge, which comprises a shell, a sliding sheet, a sealing element and a clamping cover, wherein the bottom side of the shell is provided with a toner outlet, two sides of the shell are provided with two clamping parts, the sliding sheet is arranged on the shell and can slide between an open position and a closed position, the sealing element is arranged on the sliding sheet, when the sliding sheet is positioned at the closed position, the sealing element seals the toner outlet, the clamping cover is provided with a butt part and two clamping arms which extend upwards from two sides of the butt part, the two clamping arms are clamped on the two clamping parts of the shell, and the butt part is abutted against the sliding sheet positioned at the closed position and enables the sealing element to be compressed and deformed; therefore, the sealing element can really close the powder outlet, and the sliding sheet can smoothly slide between the opening position and the closing position when the clamping cover is removed.

Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to electronic imaging devices, and particularly to a toner cartridge for an electronic imaging device.
Background
In the conventional toner cartridge, the cover member has a toner outlet for discharging toner, a slidable slide plate disposed on the cover member, and a foam disposed on the slide plate, wherein when the slide plate slides to a position corresponding to the toner outlet, the foam can seal the toner outlet, so that toner in the toner cartridge cannot leak out; however, if the foam is not thick enough, the pressure applied to the powder outlet by the foam is not enough, so that a gap is easily formed between the foam and the powder outlet, and the carbon powder falls out from the gap, thereby causing powder leakage. In actual manufacturing, the accurate foam thickness is difficult to grasp due to the tolerance of the sizes of all components. Therefore, how to achieve reliable sealing of the powder outlet without increasing the sliding resistance of the sliding piece is a subject to be solved by the industry.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above-mentioned disadvantages, an object of the present invention is to provide a toner cartridge, which can not only reliably seal the toner outlet to avoid toner leakage, but also have smooth sliding movement and small resistance.
To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a toner cartridge, which comprises a housing, a slide plate, a sealing member and a cover; the bottom side of the shell is provided with a powder outlet, and two sides of the shell are provided with two clamping parts; the sliding sheet is arranged on the shell and can slide between an open position and a closed position; the sealing element is arranged on the sliding sheet, and when the sliding sheet is positioned at the closed position, the sealing element closes the powder outlet; the clamping cover is provided with a butting part and two clamping arms which extend upwards from two sides of the butting part, the two clamping arms are clamped in the two clamping parts of the shell, and the butting part is abutted against the sliding sheet positioned at the closed position and enables the sealing element to be compressed and deformed.
Wherein, the top of each clamping arm is provided with a hook part for hooking the clamping part of the shell.
Wherein, each clamping arm is further provided with a shifting part extending downwards.

Therefore, when the sliding sheet is positioned at the closed position, the sealing element can really close the powder outlet, so that the toner cartridge cannot leak powder, and the sliding sheet can smoothly slide between the open position and the closed position when the clamping cover is removed.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a toner cartridge 1 according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a housing 10, a slide 40, a sealing member 50, a cover 60, and a control circuit board 70 disposed at an end of the housing 10. it should be noted that in fig. 1 and 2, the toner cartridge 1 is shown in the drawings with its bottom side facing upward and its top side facing downward, so synonyms such as "upper" and "lower" in the description refer to the same as facing downward and the same as "lower" and refer to the same as facing upward.
The bottom side of the housing 10 has a powder outlet 12, and both sides of the housing 10 have a plate-shaped protruding clamping portion 14, respectively, in this embodiment, the housing 10 has a cylinder 20 and a cover 30, the cylinder 20 and the cover 30 can be detached from each other and can rotate relatively, the powder outlet 12 is located at the bottom side of the cover 30, and the two clamping portions 14 are located at both sides of the cover 30; in other embodiments, the shape and structure of the two engaging portions 14 are not particularly limited, and the barrel 20 and the cover 30 may be an integral structure that cannot be disassembled.
The cylinder 20 has an opening 22 at one end of the cylinder 20 and communicating the inside with the outside, and a screw thread portion 24 recessed from the partial surface of the cylinder 20 toward the inner space of the cylinder 20, the inside refers to the inner space of the cylinder 20 itself, the outside refers to the other space outside the cylinder 20, the inner space of the cylinder 20 is used for placing carbon powder, during the rotation of the cylinder 20, the carbon powder in the inner space of the cylinder 20 is gradually pushed and moved toward the opening 22 by the rotation of the screw thread portion 24, and finally the carbon powder leaves the cylinder 20 through the opening 22 and is discharged from the powder outlet 12, so that the toner cartridge 1 achieves the purpose of discharging the toner; there are many ways to achieve the powder discharging of the toner cartridge 1, and the above is only an example and not a limitation to the structure and mode of discharging the powder from the barrel 20.
The cover 30 is disposed at one end of the barrel 20 and closes the opening 22, and the control circuit board 70 is disposed at the end of the cover 30. in other embodiments, the control circuit board 70 may be disposed elsewhere or not.
The sliding piece 40 is disposed on the cover 30 of the housing 10, and the sliding piece 40 can slide between a closed position shown in fig. 3 and an open position shown in fig. 4, the sliding piece 40 has a hollow portion 42 and a protruding portion 44 located beside the hollow portion 42, in this embodiment, the protruding portion 44 can be pushed by a relevant corresponding component of an electronic imaging device, so that the sliding piece 40 slides from the open position to the closed position, and other positions of the sliding piece 40 can be pushed by a relevant corresponding component of the electronic imaging device, so that the sliding piece 40 slides from the closed position to the open position, in other possible embodiments, the structure of the sliding piece 40 is not limited thereto, in other words, the electronic imaging device can push against other structures of the sliding piece 40, so that the sliding piece 40 can slide between the closed position and the open position.
The sealing element 50 is disposed on the sliding piece 40, and when the sliding piece 40 is located at the closed position, the sealing element 50 closes the powder outlet 12.
Referring to fig. 2 and 5, the clip cover 60 shown in fig. 5 is also shown with its bottom side facing up and its top side facing down; the clip cover 60 has a plate-shaped top part 62, two engaging arms 64 extending upwards from two sides of the top part 62, and a protection plate 66 extending upwards from the end of the top part 62, the protection plate 66 covering the end of the cover 30 of the housing 10 and the control circuit board 70 disposed at the end of the cover 30 of the housing 10, so that the protection plate 66 can protect the control circuit board 70 from being damaged by impact, the two engaging arms 64 can engage with the two engaging parts 14 of the cover 30 of the housing 10, so that the clip cover 60 is combined with the cover 30, in this embodiment, each engaging arm 64 has a hook 641 at the top end of the engaging arm 64 to hook the engaging part 14, and a toggle part 643 extending downwards from the outside, the top side of the top part 62 has a plurality of protruding ribs 621 pressing against the sliding piece 40, and a positioning rib 623 extending into the hollow part 42 of the sliding piece 40, the positioning rib 623 may or may not abut against a side edge of the hollow portion 42, and the abutting portion 62 further has a through hole 625 for the protrusion 44 of the sliding piece 40 to extend into. If the control circuit board 70 is not provided at the end of the cover member 30 but is provided elsewhere, the protector plate 66 of the clip cover 60 may be omitted as appropriate.
When the cover 60 and the cover 30 are combined together, the two engaging arms 64 engage with the two engaging portions 14 of the cover 30 of the housing 10, and the plurality of ribs 621 of the abutting portion 62 press against the sliding piece 40 at the closed position and compress and deform the sealing piece 50, as shown in fig. 6, in this case, the sealing piece 50 can actually close the powder outlet 12, so that the toner cartridge 1 cannot leak powder randomly, and the protrusion 44 of the sliding piece 40 extends into the through hole 625 of the abutting portion 62 and the positioning rib 623 extends into the hollow portion 42 of the sliding piece 40, so that the sliding piece 40 cannot easily slide from the closed position to change the powder outlet 12 from the closed state to the open state when the cover 60 and the cover 30 are combined, and therefore, the toner cartridge 1 has no possibility of powder leakage. In fact, the protruding ribs 621 are provided to help the abutting portion 62 press against the sliding piece 40 more reliably, so in other possible embodiments, the protruding ribs 621 may be omitted, and the abutting portion 62 or the protruding ribs 621 may press against the sliding piece 40 directly, and in addition, as long as the abutting portion 62 or the protruding ribs 621 can press against the sliding piece 40 reliably, so that the sliding piece 40 does not slide easily when the clip cover 60 is combined with the cover member 30, the positioning rib 623 of the abutting portion 62 does not need to extend into the hollow portion 42 of the sliding piece 40, or the positioning rib 623 and the hollow portion 42 may be omitted, and similarly, the protruding portion 44 of the sliding piece 40 does not need to extend into the through hole 625 of the abutting portion 62, or the protruding portion 44 and the through hole 625 may be omitted. It should be noted that, in the embodiment, when the clamping cover 60 is combined with the cover 30, the protruding structure of the positioning rib 623 is used to extend into the hollow portion 42, and the protruding structure of the protruding portion 44 is used to extend into the through hole 625, so that if the sliding piece 40 is not completely located in the closed state, the positioning rib 623 and the protruding portion 44 will be abutted against other unexpected positions, and the clamping cover 60 cannot be smoothly combined with the cover 30, which can be used to remind a user or an assembler that the sealing member 50 does not completely close the powder outlet 12, and the clamping cover 60 needs to be covered by the sliding piece 40 after the sliding piece 40 is completely located in the closed state to avoid powder leakage.
When the user wants to mount the toner cartridge 1 on the electronic imaging device, the user needs to first detach the cover 60 from the cover 30, and then only needs to press the toggle parts 643 of the two clamping arms 64 of the cover 60 inward to make the hook parts 641 at the top ends of the clamping arms 64 detach from the clamping parts 14 outward, so that the cover 60 can be easily detached from the cover 30, the process is simple and convenient, at this time, the sliding piece 40 is not pressed by the protruding rib 621 of the top part 62, as shown in fig. 7, and the sealing member 50 is only slightly deformed by the compression of the sliding piece 40; as mentioned above, the toner cartridge 1 is not likely to leak toner at all, and therefore the original thickness of the sealing member 50 is not too thick, so that when the sliding piece 40 is pushed by the corresponding component in the electronic imaging device, the sliding piece 40 can smoothly slide from the closed position to the open position, so that toner can be discharged from the toner outlet 12, and similarly, when the electronic imaging device does not need to supply toner from the toner cartridge 1, the sliding piece 40 can smoothly slide from the open position to the closed position, and the sealing member 50 is not easily pushed by the edge of the toner outlet 12 to tilt. In other possible embodiments, the structure of the clip cover 60 can be changed, for example, the clip arm 64 can be provided without the toggle portion 643, and the user only needs to place a finger on the hook portion 641 and apply an outward force to pull the hook portion 641 open during the practical operation, so that the hook portion 641 can be disengaged from the clip portion 14; the inner side of the latch arm 64 can be provided with a groove for the latch portion 14 to extend into, so as to combine the clip cover 60 with the cover member 30, in which case the hook portion 641 can be omitted, or the latch portion 14 can be a concave latch hole for the hook portion 641 of the latch arm 64 to extend into, or the clip cover 60 can be combined with the cover member 30.

Claims (11)

1. A toner cartridge, comprising:
a housing, the bottom side of which is provided with a powder outlet, and two sides of the housing are provided with two clamping parts;
a sliding sheet which is arranged in the shell and can slide between an open position and a closed position;
the sealing element is arranged on the sliding sheet, and the sealing element seals the powder outlet when the sliding sheet is positioned at the closed position; and
and the clamping cover is provided with a butting part and two clamping arms which extend upwards from two sides of the butting part, the two clamping arms are clamped in the two clamping parts of the shell, and the butting part is butted against the sliding sheet positioned at the closed position and enables the sealing element to be compressed and deformed.
2. The toner cartridge of claim 1, wherein each of the latch arms has a hook portion at a top end thereof for hooking the latch portion of the housing.
3. The toner cartridge of claim 2, wherein each of the snap arms further comprises a downwardly extending toggle portion.

The toner cartridge according to claim 1, wherein the housing has a cylindrical body having an opening at one end thereof and a cover member provided at one end of the cylindrical body and closing the opening, the toner outlet is located at a bottom side of the cover member, and the two retaining portions are located at both sides of the cover member.
5. The toner cartridge of claim 1, wherein the cover further includes a guard plate extending upwardly from the abutment and covering the end of the housing.
6. The toner cartridge of claim 5, further comprising a control circuit board disposed at an end of the housing.
7. The toner cartridge of claim 1, wherein the top-facing side of the retaining cover has a plurality of ribs that press against the slide.
8. The toner cartridge of claim 1, wherein the slide has a hollow portion, and the top side of the retaining portion of the cover has a positioning rib extending into the hollow portion.
9. The toner cartridge of claim 8, wherein the positioning rib abuts against a side edge of the opening.
10. The toner cartridge of claim 8, wherein the slide has a protrusion located near the opening, and the top of the cover has a through hole for the protrusion to extend into.
11. The toner cartridge of claim 1, wherein the retaining portion of the housing is plate-shaped.
