Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In order to facilitate understanding of the embodiment of the present invention, a narrowband system and an application scenario thereof according to the embodiment of the present invention are briefly introduced below. The narrowband system in the embodiment of the invention comprises a base station and a narrowband terminal, wherein the base station is wirelessly connected with the narrowband terminal.
The narrowband system generally refers to a communication system in which the bandwidth of the whole system is narrower than that of an existing cellular system, the system bandwidth of the narrowband system may be composed of one or more subsystem bandwidths, each subsystem bandwidth is a continuous spectrum resource, and may be 200 kHz. Each subsystem bandwidth divides the physical channels in the same manner. For example, for a subsystem bandwidth of 200kHz, 12 physical channels may be divided, with a 3dB bandwidth of 12kHz and a frequency separation between physical channels (i.e., the separation between the center frequencies of the physical channels) of 15 kHz. The narrowband terminals communicate with the base station using these physical channels.
These physical channels can be divided into data channels, synchronization channels, and broadcast channels. The frequency points of the synchronous channel and the broadcast channel are fixed, the base station sends synchronous signals, system messages and the like on the synchronous channel, so that the narrowband terminal can receive the synchronous signals on the synchronous channel and complete downlink time-frequency synchronization, and the base station sends the broadcast messages to the narrowband terminal on the broadcast channel.
The narrowband terminal may be an M2M terminal, such as a smart water meter, a smart meter, a logistics tracker, and the like, and the system bandwidth of the narrowband system may be a size of a spectrum resource allocated to an M2M application in a communication system, such as a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system.
In this scenario, the M2M terminal is usually in a static state, and under the condition that the frequency point of the synchronization channel is fixed, once the frequency point of the synchronization channel is in deep fading, the channel state will not change for a long time, and the time of the synchronization channel in 20dB deep fading may even last for ten seconds, at this time, the reliability of the synchronization channel transmission will be greatly affected.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the synchronization channel refers to a physical channel used for transmitting synchronization signals, synchronization signals transmitted on all synchronization channels are the same, the broadcast channel refers to a physical channel used for transmitting broadcast signals, broadcast signals transmitted on all broadcast channels are the same, and the channel names are only examples, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, in the first and second embodiments of the present invention, the synchronization channel is a physical channel for transmitting a synchronization signal on the first frequency point, and the broadcast channel is a physical channel for transmitting a broadcast signal on the first frequency point.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a frequency point refers to a small segment of frequency band, and a frequency point interval refers to an interval between center frequencies of two frequency points. The physical channel on the frequency point means that the physical channel occupies a section of frequency band corresponding to the frequency point. In addition, a frequency point of a physical channel refers to a segment of a frequency band occupied by the physical channel, for example, a frequency point of a synchronization channel refers to a segment of a frequency band occupied by the synchronization channel, and a frequency point of a broadcast channel refers to a segment of a frequency band occupied by the broadcast channel.
Example one
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for synchronizing or broadcasting a narrowband system, where the method may be executed by a terminal, as shown in fig. 1, and the method includes the following steps:
step 11: at least one first frequency point is determined from at least two first frequency points, physical channels on the at least two first frequency points are used for transmitting at least one of synchronous signals and broadcast signals, information transmitted on the physical channels on each first frequency point is the same, and the at least two first frequency points are distributed in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system at intervals of the set first frequency points.
The number and the positions (namely frequency points) of physical channels for transmitting synchronous signals or broadcast signals are preset in a protocol, the terminal needs to determine the frequency points of the synchronous channels or the broadcast channels before downlink synchronization and broadcast information receiving are carried out, only one frequency point can be determined when the frequency points are determined, information is received through the synchronous channels or the broadcast channels on the frequency points after one frequency point is determined, and a plurality of frequency points can be determined and then received.
Step 12: and receiving information transmitted on the physical channel on the determined first frequency point.
After the frequency point is determined, the terminal receives the synchronous signal or the broadcast signal on the physical channel on the determined frequency point, so that the reliability in synchronization or broadcasting is improved.
According to the embodiment of the invention, at least two frequency points with spaced frequency points are arranged in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system, the physical channels on the at least two frequency points are used for transmitting at least one of synchronous signals or broadcast signals, and the information transmitted on the physical channels on the frequency points is the same, so that the narrow-band terminal can receive the same synchronous signals or broadcast signals through multiple physical channels, the redundant arrangement of the synchronous channels and the broadcast channels of the narrow-band system in the frequency dimension is realized, and the synchronization of the narrow-band system and the transmission reliability of the broadcast channels are improved.
Example two
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for synchronizing or broadcasting a narrowband system, where the method may be performed by a base station, as shown in fig. 2, and the method includes the following steps:
step 21: at least two first frequency points are determined, physical channels on the at least two first frequency points are used for transmitting at least one of synchronous signals and broadcast signals, and the at least two first frequency points are distributed in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system at intervals of the set first frequency points.
The number and location of physical channels for transmitting synchronization signals or broadcast signals are preset in the protocol.
Step 22: and transmitting the same information on the physical channel on each first frequency point.
In an implementation manner of this embodiment, when the physical channel on the first frequency point is used for transmitting the synchronization signal and the broadcast signal simultaneously, the synchronization signal and the broadcast signal share the physical channel on the first frequency point in a time division multiplexing manner.
According to the embodiment of the invention, at least two frequency points with spaced frequency points are arranged in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system, and the physical channels on the at least two frequency points are used for transmitting at least one of synchronous signals or broadcast signals, so that the base station can transmit the same synchronous signals or broadcast signals through multiple physical channels, a subsequent narrow-band terminal can receive multiple synchronous signals or broadcast signals, the redundant arrangement of the synchronous channels and the broadcast channels of the narrow-band system in the frequency dimension is realized, and the synchronization of the narrow-band system and the transmission reliability of the broadcast channels are improved.
EXAMPLE III
In this embodiment, the present invention is described in detail by taking two synchronization channels and two broadcast channels as an example, where a synchronization channel in this embodiment is a physical channel on a second frequency point for transmitting a synchronization signal, and a broadcast channel is a physical channel on a first frequency point for transmitting a broadcast signal. As shown in fig. 3, the method comprises the steps of:
step 30: the base station determines the frequency points of two synchronous channels, and the frequency points of the two synchronous channels are distributed in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system at intervals of a set first frequency point.
Wherein the number and the position of the synchronization channels are preset.
In this embodiment, the number of synchronization channels is 2, but in other embodiments, a plurality of synchronization channels may be provided, for example, 3 or 4 synchronization channels.
In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, for continuous spectrum resources, two synchronization channels may be symmetrically arranged with respect to a center frequency point of a system bandwidth. It is easy to know that the two synchronization channels may not be symmetrically arranged with respect to the central frequency point of the system bandwidth, as long as a certain distance is ensured.
The first frequency point intervals may correspond to the system bandwidths one to one, that is, different system bandwidths correspond to different first frequency point intervals, as shown in fig. 5, and of course, different system bandwidths may also correspond to the same first frequency point intervals, as shown in fig. 6.
Step 31: the base station transmits the same information on the synchronous channels on the two frequency points.
Step 32: the terminal determines the frequency points of two synchronous channels.
The terminal determines the frequency points of two synchronous channels, and can adopt the following mode:
the method comprises the following steps: the terminal searches the frequency points of the synchronous channels exhaustively in the set frequency band (for example, the frequency band supported by the terminal) according to the set frequency step granularity until all the frequency points of the synchronous channels are searched. After the frequency points of the synchronous channel are searched, the searched frequency points can be stored.
The second method comprises the following steps: the terminal searches a frequency point of a synchronous channel in a set frequency band (for example, a frequency band supported by the terminal) according to the set frequency step granularity, and determines a frequency point of another synchronous channel according to the frequency point and the first frequency point interval.
The first frequency point interval may be preset in the terminal, or may be carried in a system message transmitted on a synchronization channel, and when the terminal searches one of the frequency points of the synchronization channel, the first frequency point interval may be obtained from the system message transmitted on the synchronization channel on the searched frequency point.
When there are multiple first frequency point intervals of the synchronization channel (i.e. different system bandwidths correspond to different first frequency point intervals), after the terminal searches for the frequency point f1 of the first synchronization channel, it may make multiple attempts to respectively try to search for the frequency point of the searched first synchronization channel plus the frequency points after each first frequency point interval, thereby determining the frequency point of another synchronization channel.
For example, as shown in fig. 5, for different system bandwidths W1, W2, and W3, the first frequency point intervals of the synchronization channels are L1, L2, and L3, respectively, when a terminal performs synchronization search, after searching frequency point f1 of the first synchronization channel, it may perform 3 attempts, that is, attempt to search frequency points at three positions f1+ L1, f1+ L2, f1+ L3, respectively, to determine the frequency point of another synchronization channel.
The third method comprises the following steps: the terminal searches a plurality of frequency points simultaneously in the set frequency band according to the first frequency point interval (for example, two grids with the interval being the first frequency point interval are used for searching simultaneously), so that the frequency points of two synchronous channels can be searched simultaneously.
The frequency point searching for the synchronization channel can adopt a method similar to that of LTE and Wideband code division Multiple Access (WCDMA for short), a base station transmits two physical signals, namely a main synchronization signal and an auxiliary synchronization signal, on the synchronization channel, the two physical signals are specially designed and have good orthogonality, a terminal determines the position of the synchronization channel through grid exhaustive search and in an autocorrelation or cross-correlation mode, and when a correlation peak is searched at a certain frequency point, the frequency point can be determined to be the frequency point of the synchronization channel.
Optionally, when the system bandwidth and the first frequency point interval are preset to correspond to each other, the method of this embodiment may further include: and the terminal acquires the system bandwidth information according to the first frequency point interval and the corresponding relation between the preset first frequency point interval and the system bandwidth. The system bandwidth information may include the size of the system bandwidth, frequency point information and pilot structure of each channel, and the like.
Step 33: and the terminal selects from the frequency points of the two synchronous channels according to the channel selection information, wherein the channel selection information comprises at least one of the capability information and the channel condition information of the terminal.
Wherein, the capability information of the terminal comprises: at least one of a radio frequency bandwidth of the terminal and a capability of the terminal to process and store information; the channel condition information includes: at least one of a reception level value of the channel and a reception signal-to-carrier-to-interference ratio of the channel; the capability information of the terminal may be defined in a protocol, and the defined manner may be set with reference to a terminal type in LTE, and different numbers of synchronization channels may be set for reception in different terminal types.
Specifically, in step 33, when selecting from two synchronization channels according to the channel selection information, one or more of the following manners may be adopted:
when the radio frequency bandwidth of the terminal or the capability of the terminal for processing and storing information is enough to support the physical channels on at least two frequency points, the terminal can select the two frequency points simultaneously;
alternatively, the terminal may perform channel estimation on the synchronization channel according to a known sequence such as a reference signal or a pilot signal, obtain indexes such as a reception level value and a reception carrier-to-interference ratio at each frequency point, and select a frequency point where the reception level value or the reception carrier-to-interference ratio of the physical channel is higher than a predetermined threshold.
If the width of the radio frequency bandwidth of the terminal reaches the frequency point interval between two synchronous channels, the terminal can select the two synchronous channels to receive information; alternatively, the terminal may select two synchronization channels to receive information if the terminal class specified in the protocol supports receiving two synchronization channels.
If the receiving level value and the receiving carrier-to-interference ratio of a certain synchronous channel are higher than the predetermined threshold, the channel condition of the frequency point where the synchronous channel is located is good, and the terminal can select all the synchronous channels with good channel conditions to receive information.
Step 34: and when the selected frequency points are two, the terminal combines and receives the information transmitted on the synchronous channels on the two frequency points.
When the terminal receives the synchronization information on the synchronization channel, the combining and receiving manner may include: maximum ratio combining, equal gain combining, selective combining, or interference rejection combining.
Specifically, the combining manner may be selected according to the requirements of the specific implementation of the terminal, and the combining manner adopted by the terminal is configured in the terminal. For example, from the consideration of compromise between performance and cost power consumption, for a terminal with high performance requirement, a combining mode with optimal performance, such as maximum ratio combining, may be selected; for the terminal with high requirement on cost and power consumption, a low-complexity and easy-to-implement merging mode, such as selective merging, can be selected.
The terminal completes downlink synchronization after combining the synchronization channel information, where the downlink synchronization specifically refers to the terminal completing synchronization with the network, and specifically includes time synchronization and frequency synchronization of the terminal and the network, and the method of downlink synchronization is well known to those skilled in the art, and detailed description is omitted here.
Step 35: the base station determines the frequency points of two broadcast channels.
Step 36: the base station transmits the same information on the broadcast channels on the two frequency points.
Step 37: the terminal determines the frequency points of two broadcast channels.
Wherein the number and location of the broadcast channels are predetermined.
In this embodiment, the number of broadcast channels is 2, but in other embodiments, a plurality of broadcast channels may be provided, for example, 3 or 4 broadcast channels.
The position of the broadcast channel can be determined by the position relationship between the frequency point of the synchronization channel and the frequency points of the preset synchronization channel and the broadcast channel after the terminal completes time-frequency synchronization with the base station, or by the system information carried in the synchronization channel.
The number of broadcast channels may be the same as or different from the number of synchronization channels; the frequency point of the broadcast channel may be fixed or unfixed with respect to the frequency point of the synchronization channel.
In one implementation, the broadcast channels and the synchronization channels correspond to each other one by one, and the broadcast channels and the synchronization channels maintain the set second frequency interval. As shown in fig. 6, for different system bandwidths W1, W2, and W3, a first frequency point interval between synchronization channels may be kept fixed, and a second frequency point interval between a broadcast channel and a synchronization channel may also be kept fixed and larger than zero, so that when a terminal searches a frequency point of one of the synchronization channels, it may determine frequency points of another synchronization channel and a broadcast channel, and reduce the number of times of channel searching and merging.
In another implementation manner, the broadcast channels and the synchronization channels correspond to each other one by one, and the frequency points of the broadcast channels and the frequency points of the synchronization channels are the same. As shown in fig. 7, in this case, the synchronization channel and the broadcast channel time-division multiplex the same frequency points. After the terminal determines the frequency points f1 and f2 of the synchronization channel, the terminal can determine the frequency points f1 and f2 of the broadcast channel at the moment because the frequency points of the broadcast channel are the same as those of the synchronization channel, and receive broadcast information according to f1 and f 2.
When the system bandwidth is a discontinuous spectrum resource, that is, when the system bandwidth includes a plurality of discontinuous subsystem bandwidths, at least one synchronization channel is provided in each subsystem bandwidth, as shown in fig. 8, the system bandwidth includes a low frequency bandwidth and a high frequency bandwidth, the synchronization channels are respectively provided on the low frequency bandwidth and the high frequency bandwidth, after the terminal completes downlink synchronization, the frequency points of the broadcast channel are determined according to the frequency points f1 and f2 of the synchronization channels and the second frequency point interval M, and then broadcast information is combined and received.
Step 38: and the terminal selects from the frequency points of the two broadcast channels according to the channel selection information.
Specifically, the method for the terminal to select the frequency point of the broadcast channel may be the same as the method for selecting the frequency point of the synchronization channel, and is not described herein again.
Step 39: and when the number of the selected frequency points of the broadcast channel is two, the terminal combines and receives the broadcast information transmitted on the broadcast channels on the two frequency points.
Specifically, the manner of combining and receiving the broadcast channels by the terminal may be the same as the manner of combining and receiving the synchronization channels, which is not described herein any more, and the reliability of transmission of the broadcast channels of the narrowband terminal is improved by combining and receiving the broadcast information of the two broadcast channels.
The embodiment of the invention sets the frequency points of the two spaced synchronous channels in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system, so that the narrow-band terminal can select the synchronous channels according to the channel selection information, and when the selected synchronous channel is more than one, the terminal combines and receives the synchronous information transmitted on the synchronous channels on the two frequency points, thereby realizing the diversity gain of the synchronous channels of the narrow-band system in the frequency dimension and improving the transmission reliability of the synchronous channels of the narrow-band system. In addition, the embodiment of the invention also sets the frequency points of two spaced broadcast channels, and the terminal can select to receive the broadcast information transmitted on the broadcast channels on the two frequency points, thereby realizing the diversity gain of the broadcast channels of the narrow-band system in the frequency dimension and improving the transmission reliability of the broadcast channels of the narrow-band system.
Example four
In this embodiment, the present invention is described in detail by taking two synchronization channels and two broadcast channels as an example, where a synchronization channel in this embodiment is a physical channel on a second frequency point for transmitting a synchronization signal, and a broadcast channel is a physical channel on a first frequency point for transmitting a broadcast signal. As shown in fig. 9, the method includes the steps of:
step 41: the base station determines the frequency points of two synchronous channels, and the frequency points of the two synchronous channels are distributed in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system at intervals of a set first frequency point.
The number and the position of the synchronization channels are preset, and the specific setting mode may refer to embodiment three, which is not described herein again.
Step 42: the base station transmits the same information on the synchronous channels on the two frequency points.
Step 43: the terminal determines the frequency point of a synchronous channel.
The terminal determines a frequency point of a synchronization channel, and may adopt the following mode:
the terminal searches the frequency points of the synchronous channel one by one (for example, the frequency band supported by the terminal) in the set frequency band according to the set frequency step granularity, and stops searching after the frequency point of one synchronous channel is searched. Or, the terminal searches multiple frequency points simultaneously in the set frequency band according to the set first frequency point interval (for example, simultaneously searches by using two grids with the interval being the first frequency point interval) until the frequency points of two synchronous channels are searched, and selects one of the searched frequency points as the synchronous channel. If the terminal searches the frequency point of any synchronous channel in the set frequency band, the terminal carries out synchronous search after a preset time interval.
The method for searching the frequency point of the synchronization channel may refer to the existing LTE and WCDMA methods in step 32 of the third embodiment, and details are not repeated here.
Step 44: and the terminal receives the information transmitted on the synchronous channel on the determined frequency point.
Step 45: the base station determines the frequency points of two broadcast channels.
Step 46: the base station transmits the same information on the broadcast channels on the two frequency points.
Step 47: the terminal determines a frequency point of a broadcast channel.
The number and the position of the broadcast channels are preset, and the method for the terminal to determine the frequency points of the broadcast channels may refer to step 37 in the third embodiment, which is not described herein again.
And 48: and the terminal receives the information transmitted on the broadcast channel on the determined frequency point.
If there may be multiple frequency points of the broadcast channel determined by the terminal according to the synchronization channel, then step 48 may include: the terminal receives the information transmitted on one of the broadcast channels firstly, if the reception fails, the terminal continues to receive the information transmitted on the next broadcast channel, and if the reception fails on all the broadcast channels, the terminal receives the information again after a set time interval.
The embodiment of the invention sets the frequency points of the two synchronous channels at intervals in the system bandwidth of the narrow-band system, so that the narrow-band terminal can search the frequency points of different synchronous channels to receive the same synchronous information, thereby realizing the diversity gain of the synchronous channels of the narrow-band system in the frequency dimension and improving the transmission reliability of the synchronous channels of the narrow-band system. In addition, the embodiment of the invention also provides the frequency points of two spaced broadcast channels, and the terminal can receive the broadcast information transmitted on the broadcast channels on different frequency points, thereby realizing the diversity gain of the broadcast channels of the narrow-band system in the frequency dimension and improving the transmission reliability of the broadcast channels of the narrow-band system.
