In the present embodiment, in the case where the first authentication information coincides with the second authentication information corresponding to the coincidence of a predetermined number or more of the first and second printer information, the second control portion 304 may generate alarm information and cause the alarm information and the first printer information to be transmitted to the image forming apparatus 200, whereby the display portion 102 displays information based on the first printer information and information based on the alarm information. According to the present embodiment, when the number of times of image forming processes performed on the same print data by the same printer is a predetermined number or more, alarm information is displayed on the display to alarm the printer. Further, in the present embodiment, the predetermined number may be stored in the second storage section 301 in advance.
Fig. 8 is another schematic view of the display screen of the display unit 102. As shown in fig. 8, when the image formation management apparatus 300 transmits alarm information and first printer information, information 801 based on the first printer information may be displayed and information 802 based on the alarm information may be displayed on the display screen M of the display portion 102.
In the present embodiment, in the case where the image forming apparatus 200 receives the alarm information, the first control portion 204 may control to delete the print data stored in the first storage portion 203 according to the alarm information, thereby prohibiting the same printer from performing the image forming process again for the print data when the number of times of the image forming process performed for the same print data by the same printer is greater than or equal to a predetermined number, for the purpose of saving paper and printing supplies.
According to the present embodiment, in the case where the print data received by the image forming apparatus coincides with the print data subjected to the image forming process in the past, the corresponding information is displayed on the display section, and therefore, the user can be informed of the fact that the print data has been subjected to the image forming process in the past, thereby preventing unnecessary image forming process.
Example 2
In embodiment 2, an image forming method corresponding to the image forming system of embodiment 1 is described as an example.
In the present embodiment, the host terminal 100 is a personal computer, the image forming apparatus 200 is a printer, the image forming process control apparatus 300 is a server, and the host terminal 100 is connected to the image forming apparatus 200 via a network, and the image forming process control apparatus 300 is connected to the image forming apparatus 200 via a network. In the present embodiment, the image forming process refers to performing a printing process on print data.
Fig. 9 is a schematic view of the image forming method of the present embodiment 2. As shown in fig. 9, the method includes the steps of:
and S01, sending the print job data. In step S01, the user can operate on the host terminal 100 to select a file desired to be printed and the image processing apparatus 200 to be printed. The printer driver 103 of the host terminal 100 can generate print data corresponding to the file in accordance with the user operation, and can generate print job data corresponding to the present print job by adding second printer information corresponding to the user to the header of the print data, and the print job data is transmitted to the image processing apparatus 200 by the second communication unit 101.
S02, first authentication information is generated, and the print job data is stored in the first storage unit. In step S02, the first control section 204 of the image forming apparatus 200 performs MD5 hash encoding on the print data in the print job data received by the first communication section 202 to generate first authentication information; then, the print job data is stored in the first storage section 203 of the image forming apparatus 200.
And S03, sending the first authentication information and the second printer information. In step S03, the first communication part 202 of the image forming apparatus 200 transmits the first authentication information generated by the first control part 204 and the second printer information in the received print job data to the image formation management apparatus 300.
And S04, storing the first authentication information and the second printer information. In step S04, the second storage unit 301 of the image formation management apparatus 300 may store the first authentication information corresponding to the received present print job in association with the second printer information, the second authentication information and the first printer information corresponding to the print data having been subjected to the print processing in the past being already stored in the second storage unit 301.
S05, it is determined whether or not there is second authentication information that matches the first authentication information. In step S05, the comparing unit 303 of the image formation management apparatus 300 may compare the second verification information stored in the second storage unit 301 with the first verification information one by one to determine whether there is second verification information that matches the first verification information, where the first verification information matches the second verification information as a result of the comparison when the number of blocks of the second verification information is the same as that of the first verification information and the check code of each block is also the same. In the case where the determination result of step S05 is yes, the flow proceeds to S06, and in the case where the determination result of step S05 is no, the flow proceeds to S07.
And S06, sending the first printer information corresponding to the second verification information. In step S06, the second control unit 304 of the image formation management apparatus 300 extracts the first printer information corresponding to the second authentication information that matches the first authentication information, and the first printer information may be, for example, the information indicated by 602 in fig. 6. The first printer information may be transmitted to the image forming apparatus 200 via the third communication part 302 of the image formation management apparatus 300.
S07, in the case where the first authentication information does not match any of the second authentication information stored in the second storage portion 301, the second control portion 304 of the image formation management apparatus 300 may control to transmit instruction information indicating that there is no print history to the image formation apparatus 200 via the third communication portion 302.
S08, the image forming apparatus analyzes the data from the image formation management apparatus. In step S08, the first control section 204 of the image forming apparatus 200 analyzes the data from the image formation management apparatus 300 to identify whether the data is the first printer information or the instruction information without the print history.
S09, it is determined whether or not the print data corresponding to the present print job has been printed. In step S09, the first control section 204 of the image forming apparatus 200 determines whether the print data has been printed or not based on the analysis result of step S08, for example, if the analysis result of step S08 is that the first printer information is received, step S09 determines yes, and if the analysis result of step S08 is that the instruction information that there is no print history is received, step S09 determines no.
And S10, sending the first printer information. If it is determined in step S09 that "yes", the first communication unit 202 of the image forming apparatus 200 transmits the first printer information to the host terminal 100, and the display unit 102 of the host terminal 100 may display information based on the first printer information, and the display unit 102 may display a screen prompting selection of whether to perform printing or cancel printing, for example, the display unit 102 may display a screen M shown in fig. 4.
S11, whether printing is cancelled is judged. In step S11, the user can perform an operation to select to cancel the print job or to continue the print job.
And S12, canceling the printing task. If it is determined in step S11 that "yes", the host terminal 100 transmits a cancel print command to the image processing apparatus 200, and the first control unit 204 of the image processing apparatus 200 performs control to delete the print job data corresponding to the present print job stored in the first storage unit 203.
And S13, printing. When the determination in step S09 is no or the determination in step S11 is no, the first control unit 204 of the image processing apparatus 200 may control the printing unit 201 to perform the printing process based on the print data corresponding to the present print job stored in the first storage unit 203.
