Abstract

The invention provides a display assembly, which comprises a display panel and an adjacent assembly, wherein the adjacent assembly is arranged adjacent to the display panel; the first receiving part and the second receiving part are staggered and used for respectively receiving different functional devices or different parts of the same functional device. The invention also provides a mobile terminal. According to the display module and the mobile terminal provided by the invention, different functional devices or different parts of the functional devices are respectively accommodated in the first accommodating part and the second accommodating part which are staggered with each other, so that the effects of effectively reducing the thickness of the display module or reducing the size of a non-display area and the like can be achieved.

It is a trend that large-sized touch display screens are adopted in current mobile terminals, such as mobile phones, tablet computers and the like. Due to the use of the large-size touch display screen, most of the area of the mobile terminal is the display area of the touch display screen, and in addition, elements such as a camera and a sensor are arranged in the non-display area of the touch display screen. Since the display area of the large-sized touch display occupies most of the surface of the mobile terminal, the elements disposed on the non-display area will become crowded, and the thickness and the like of the mobile terminal will increase.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a display assembly and a mobile terminal, which can effectively reduce the thickness of the mobile terminal.
In order to solve the technical problem, the invention provides a display assembly, which comprises a display panel and an adjacent assembly arranged adjacent to the display panel, wherein the display panel is provided with a first accommodating part; the first receiving part and the second receiving part are staggered and used for respectively receiving different functional devices or different parts of the same functional device.
The invention also provides a mobile terminal which comprises at least one functional device and a display component. The display assembly comprises a display panel and an adjacent assembly which is arranged adjacent to the display panel, a first accommodating part is arranged on the display panel, and a second accommodating part is arranged on the adjacent assembly; the first receiving part and the second receiving part are staggered and used for respectively receiving different functional devices or different parts of the same functional device.
According to the display assembly and the mobile terminal provided by the invention, different functional devices or different parts of the functional devices are respectively accommodated in the first accommodating part and the second accommodating part which are staggered with each other, so that the thickness of the display assembly can be effectively reduced, or the size of a non-display area can be reduced, and the whole thickness of the mobile terminal can be correspondingly reduced, and/or the screen occupation ratio can be improved.

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be obtained by a person skilled in the art without inventive effort based on the embodiments of the present invention, are within the scope of the present invention.

Referring to fig. 1-3 together, fig. 1 is a front view of a mobile terminal 1 according to an embodiment of the invention. The mobile terminal 1 includes a display module 100, the display module 100 includes a display panel 10 and an adjacent module 20 disposed adjacent to the display panel 10, the display panel 10 is provided with a first receiving portion S1, and the adjacent module 20 is provided with a second receiving portion S2. The first receiving portion S1 and the second receiving portion S2 are offset, and the first receiving portion S1 and the second receiving portion S2 are used for receiving different functional devices 30 or different portions of the same functional device 30. In some embodiments, the offset of the first receiving portion S1 from the second receiving portion S2 means: the projection of the second receiving portion S2 on the display panel 10 along the arrangement direction of the display panel 10 and the adjacent module 20 is not overlapped with the first receiving portion S1, that is, is not overlapped.
Therefore, different functional devices 30 or different portions of the functional devices 30 can be respectively accommodated in the first accommodating portion S1 and the second accommodating portion S2 which are staggered with each other, so that the thickness of the display assembly 100 can be effectively reduced, or the size of the non-display area can be reduced, and the overall thickness of the mobile terminal 1 can be correspondingly reduced, and/or the screen occupation ratio can be improved.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, in some embodiments, the first receiving portion S1 is opened at a first position of the non-display area a1 of the display panel, the second receiving portion S2 is opened at a second position on the adjacent module, and a projection of the second receiving portion S2 on the display panel 10 along the arrangement direction of the display panel 10 and the adjacent module 20 is not overlapped with the first receiving portion S1.
In some embodiments, the projection of the second receiving portion S2 on the display panel 10 is located in the non-display area a1 of the display panel 10. Obviously, in other embodiments, the projection of the second receiving portion S2 on the display panel 10 may be located in the display area a2 of the display panel 10.
As shown in fig. 2 to 3, the display panel 10 includes an upper display frame 11 and a lower display panel 12, and the first receiving portion S1 is opened at a first position in a portion of the lower display panel 12 corresponding to the non-display area a 1.
As shown in fig. 2 to 3, in some embodiments, the adjacent module 20 includes a main board 21, the main board 21 is disposed on an inner side of the display panel 10, a portion of the main board 21 corresponding to the non-display area a1 of the display panel 10 is opened with the second receiving portion S2, and an extending direction of the second receiving portion S2 is the same as an extending direction of the first receiving portion S1 opened on the display panel 10. As shown in fig. 2 to 3, the main board 21 is disposed parallel to the display panel 10, the first receiving portion S1 formed in the display panel 10 is a receiving groove/hole extending perpendicular to the plane of the display panel 10, and the second receiving portion S2 is a receiving groove/hole extending perpendicular to the plane of the main board 21.
As shown in fig. 3, the first receiving portion S1 can receive a first functional device 31, such as a camera, and the second receiving portion S2 can receive a second functional device 32, such as a sensor, such as a proximity sensor. Since different functional devices 30 are accommodated in different accommodating portions, the thickness of the mobile terminal 1 as a whole can be reduced.
In other embodiments, the functional device 30 may be a camera, and the first receiving portion S1 may receive a prism portion of the camera, and the second receiving portion S2 may receive an image sensor portion of the camera. Therefore, different parts of the functional device 30 are accommodated in different accommodating portions for the same functional device 30, thereby reducing the thickness of the mobile terminal 1 as a whole.
Wherein, the functional device 30 may further include a flashlight, a speaker, etc.
Please refer to fig. 4, which is an exploded view of the mobile terminal 1 in another embodiment. In another embodiment, the adjacent component 20 further includes a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) 22, and the FPC 22 is also disposed on the inner side of the display panel 10. The flexible circuit board 22 is electrically connected to the display panel 10. Specifically, the flexible circuit board 22 is electrically connected between the display panel 10 and the main board 21, and is used for establishing electrical connection between the display panel 10 and the main board 21.
As shown in fig. 4, the flexible circuit board 22 extends through the non-display area a1 of the display panel 10, the portion of the flexible circuit board 22 corresponding to the non-display area a1 of the display panel 10 is opened with the second receiving portion S2, and the extending direction of the second receiving portion S2 is the same as the extending direction of the first receiving portion S1 opened on the display panel 10. As shown in fig. 4, the flexible circuit board 22 is disposed parallel to the display panel 10, the first receiving portion S1 formed on the display panel 10 is a receiving groove/hole extending perpendicular to the plane of the display panel 10, and the second receiving portion S2 is a receiving groove/hole extending perpendicular to the plane of the flexible circuit board 22.
Similarly, the first receiving portion S1 can receive a first functional device 31 such as a camera, and the second receiving portion S2 can receive a second functional device 32 such as a proximity sensor. Since different functional devices 30 are accommodated in different accommodating portions, the thickness of the mobile terminal 1 as a whole can be reduced.
In some embodiments, the functional device 30 may also be a camera, and the first receiving portion S1 may receive therein a prism portion of the camera, and the second receiving portion S2 may receive therein an image sensor portion of the camera. Therefore, different parts of the functional device 30 are accommodated in different accommodating portions for the same functional device 30, thereby reducing the thickness of the mobile terminal 1 as a whole.
Please refer to fig. 5, which is a schematic diagram illustrating a partial structure decomposition of the mobile terminal 1 in another embodiment. As shown in fig. 5, the adjacent component 20 includes a frame member 23. The frame member 23 wraps and covers the side periphery of the display panel 10.
As shown in fig. 5, the second receiving portion S2 is opened at one edge of the frame 23. In some embodiments, the second receiving portion S2 is opened at a frame edge portion of the frame piece 23 covering the non-display area a1 of the display panel 10, and an extending direction of the second receiving portion S2 is perpendicular to an extending direction of the first receiving portion S1 opened on the display panel 10.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 5, the plane of the frame member 23 is perpendicular to the plane of the display panel 10, the first receiving portion S1 formed in the display panel 10 is a receiving groove/hole extending perpendicular to the plane of the display panel 10, the second receiving portion S2 formed in the frame member 23 is a receiving groove/hole extending perpendicular to the plane of the frame member 23, and the extending direction is perpendicular to the first receiving portion S1.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 5, the second receiving portion S2 can receive a functional device 30 such as a horn. By providing the second receiving portion S2 in the frame member 22, the functional device 30 can be received or partially received in the second receiving portion S2, so that the overall size of the mobile terminal 1 can be effectively reduced, and in some aspects, the size of the non-display area a1 of the display panel 10 can be reduced, thereby increasing the screen occupation ratio.
As described above, the display panel 10 includes the upper display frame 11 and the lower display panel 12. As shown in fig. 2 to 5, the upper display panel frame 11 includes a frame region 111 and a first window region 112 surrounded by the frame region 111, and the lower display panel 12 includes a second window region 121 and an edge region 122. The first window area 112 of the upper display panel frame 11 coincides with the second window area 121 of the lower display panel 12 and constitutes a display area a2 of the display panel 10. The bezel area 111 of the upper display bezel 11 constitutes the non-display area a1 of the display panel 10, and the edge area 122 of the lower display panel 12 extends to a partial area of the bezel area 111 of the upper display bezel 11. That is, the size of the lower display panel 12 is smaller than the size of the upper display panel frame 11, and the edge area 122 of the lower display panel 12 surrounding the second window area 121 extends only to a partial area of the bezel area 111 of the upper display panel frame 11.
In some embodiments, the first receiving portion S1 formed in the display panel 10 is a hole formed in a non-edge portion of the edge region 122 of the lower display panel 12 or a groove formed in an edge portion of the edge region 122 of the lower display panel 12.
As shown in fig. 2 to 5, when the first receiving portion S1 receives a camera or a prism of the camera, a camera opening K1 is further formed in a position of the frame region 111 of the upper display frame 11 corresponding to the first receiving portion S1, and the camera opening K1 is used for light to pass through, so that external light can be transmitted to the camera or the prism of the camera.
The first receiving portion S1 may be a receiving hole or a receiving groove that may or may not penetrate through the lower display panel 12. The second receiving portion S2 may be a receiving hole or a receiving groove that may or may not penetrate through the adjacent component 20 such as the motherboard 21, the flexible circuit board 22, or the frame member 23. That is, the first receiving portion S1 may be provided to penetrate or not penetrate the lower display panel 12, and the second receiving portion S2 may be provided to penetrate or not penetrate the adjacent module 20.
When the first receiving portion S1 is a receiving hole, the first receiving portion S1 is opened in a non-edge area of the edge area 122 of the lower display panel 12. When the first receiving portion S1 is a receiving groove, the first receiving portion S1 is a receiving groove opened on a side surface of the edge region 122 of the lower display panel 12. Similarly, the second receiving portion S1 is a hole opened at a non-edge portion of the adjacent component 20 or a groove opened at an edge portion of the adjacent component 20, that is, when the second receiving portion S2 is a receiving hole, the second receiving portion S2 is opened at a non-edge area of the main board 21, the flexible circuit board 22, or the frame member 23. When the second receiving portion S2 is a receiving groove, the second receiving portion S2 is a receiving groove with an opening on a side surface opened in an edge area of the main board 21, the flexible circuit board 22, or the frame 23.
As shown in fig. 2 to 5, the upper display surface frame 11 of the display panel 10 is further provided with an upper bell mouth K2, a flash light mouth K3, a fingerprint identification module K4, and the like. When the functional device 30 such as a horn or a flash lamp is accommodated in the first accommodating hole S1, the position of the first accommodating hole S1 corresponds to the bell mouth K2 or the flash lamp mouth K3.
The mobile terminal 300 may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a camera, or other terminal products.
According to the display module 100 and the mobile terminal 1 provided by the invention, different accommodating parts are arranged on the display panel 10 and the adjacent module 20, and then different functional devices 30 are respectively accommodated in the different accommodating parts, or different parts of the same functional device 30 are respectively accommodated in the different accommodating parts, so that the thickness and the size of the mobile terminal 1 can be effectively reduced.

Claims (10)

1. A display assembly comprises a display panel and an adjacent assembly which is arranged adjacent to the display panel, and is characterized in that a first accommodating part is arranged on the display panel, and a second accommodating part is arranged on the adjacent assembly; the first containing part and the second containing part are staggered and used for containing different parts of the same functional device respectively, wherein the functional device is a camera, the first containing part is used for containing a prism part of the camera, the second containing part is used for containing an image sensor part of the camera, the display panel comprises an upper display surface frame and a lower display plate, the lower display plate is close to the adjacent components, and the first containing part is arranged on the lower display plate.

The display module according to claim 1, wherein the first receiving portion is opened at a first position of a non-display area of the display panel, the second receiving portion is opened at a second position on the adjacent module, and a projection of the second receiving portion on the display panel along an arrangement direction of the display panel and the adjacent module does not overlap with the first receiving portion.

The display module according to claim 2, wherein the adjacent module includes a main board disposed on an inner side surface of the display panel, the main board has the second receiving portion formed on a non-display area corresponding to the display panel, and an extending direction of the second receiving portion is the same as an extending direction of the first receiving portion formed on the display panel.

The display module according to claim 3, wherein the adjacent module further comprises a flexible circuit board electrically connected to the display panel, and a portion of the flexible circuit board extending through the non-display area of the display panel is provided with the second receiving portion.
