The word "if" as used herein may be interpreted as "at … …" or "when … …" or "in response to a determination", depending on the context.
In the related art, after the user views the reminding information, the user needs to search for the position of the front fingerprint sensor or the rear fingerprint sensor and perform fingerprint identification operation by using the found fingerprint sensor, so that the authentication efficiency is low, and the user experience is poor.
In order to avoid the defects of low authentication efficiency and poor user experience, the present disclosure provides an authentication method, which may be used in an electronic device with a fingerprint identification function. The electronic device may be a smart phone, a tablet computer, a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), an e-book reader, a multimedia player, and other devices having a fingerprint recognition function.
A fingerprint sensor is arranged in a touch screen of the electronic equipment. The fingerprint sensor can be a capacitance fingerprint sensor, an optical fingerprint sensor, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the like, and fingerprint information can be acquired by the fingerprint sensor in the touch screen by improving the penetrating power of the fingerprint sensor or setting an area covering the fingerprint sensor on the touch screen into light transmission or semi-light transmission and the like.
In an alternative implementation, taking a fingerprint sensor as an optical fingerprint sensor as an example, fig. 2A is a schematic structural diagram of a display panel according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2A, which schematically illustrates the structures of the thin film transistor 2 and the photosensor 3, the display panel includes an array substrate, a color filter substrate, and a liquid crystal layer 8.
Regarding the array substrate, as shown in fig. 2B, fig. 2B is a schematic structural diagram of an array substrate according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The array substrate includes: a substrate 1; a thin film transistor 2 disposed in a first region of one side of the substrate 1; a photosensor 3 disposed at a second area of one side of the substrate 1 for recognizing a fingerprint; and the passivation layer 4 is arranged on one side of the thin film transistor 2 and the photoelectric sensor 3, which is far away from the substrate 1. In one example, the thin film transistor 2 may include a gate electrode 21, an active layer 22, a source electrode 23, a drain electrode 24, and the like, and a gate insulating layer 5 may be further disposed between the gate electrode 21 and the active layer 22.
The color film substrate is arranged opposite to the array substrate; a black matrix 7 is arranged in the color film substrate, and the photoelectric sensor 3 is arranged opposite to the black matrix 7.
And the liquid crystal layer 8 is arranged between the array substrate and the color film substrate.
In one example, the photosensors may be formed on the substrate using the same process as the thin film transistors, for example, by a patterning process. The structure of the photosensor is not limited to the structure shown in fig. 2A, and the position thereof is not limited to the position shown in fig. 2A, and is not limited to the direct formation on the substrate shown in fig. 2A. For example, the photosensor may be formed over the thin film transistor, that is, formed at the time of or after the formation of the source and drain electrodes, in which case there may be an overlapping region of the first region and the second region. The passivation layer may be made of an insulating material, such as silicon oxide, silicon nitride, etc.
By disposing the photosensor on the base of the array substrate, the photosensor can be integrated in the array substrate. In the display device manufactured by the array substrate, the finger can be placed at the position corresponding to the second area of the array substrate to perform fingerprint identification, a fingerprint identification sensor is not required to be additionally arranged in the display device, the manufacturing process is simplified, and the stability and the integration level of the whole structure are improved.
The fingerprint sensor is arranged in the touch screen, a fingerprint response area is formed at the corresponding position of the fingerprint sensor in the touch screen, and a user can realize fingerprint identification through the touch fingerprint response area, so that the reminding area is corresponding to the operation area, and the waste of time caused by searching the operation area by the user is avoided.
In one example, the fingerprint response area may be just the same size as the fingerprint collection area for actually collecting the fingerprint information, and the fingerprint response area may also be slightly larger than the fingerprint collection area, so as to achieve that the fingerprint response area is greater than or equal to the fingerprint collection area and the fingerprint response area covers the fingerprint collection area. The fingerprint response area may also be slightly smaller than the fingerprint acquisition area. The fingerprint collection area may be determined according to a position of the fingerprint sensor relative to the screen, for example, the fingerprint collection area may be determined based on a forward projection area of the fingerprint sensor on the screen.
As depicted in fig. 2C, fig. 2C is a schematic diagram illustrating the location of a fingerprint response area on a screen according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. In this schematic diagram, the location of the fingerprint response area on the screen of the device is illustrated. As depicted in fig. 2D, fig. 2D is a diagram illustrating several fingerprint response areas versus actual acquisition areas according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. In this schematic diagram, the fingerprint response area may be the same as the actual acquisition area, or the fingerprint response area may be slightly larger than the actual acquisition area. In addition, the fingerprint response area may be in different shapes, for example, it may be in a rectangular shape, an oval shape, a circular shape, etc., and is set according to the requirement.
It is thus clear that because the fingerprint sensor sets up in the touch-sensitive screen, need not to set for the position department trompil in order to hold fingerprint identification sensor and physics button at the glass of apron, guarantee glass of apron's integrality promptly to guarantee glass of apron's intensity, improve the aesthetic property of electronic equipment screen.
In order to improve the authentication efficiency, the present disclosure provides an authentication method, in which a fingerprint response area corresponds to an actual fingerprint sensor area, and information reminding is performed in the fingerprint response area, so that a user can directly touch the fingerprint response area after looking up reminding information to realize fingerprint acquisition, thereby facilitating the user to quickly locate the position of the fingerprint sensor, avoiding time waste caused by the user looking for the fingerprint sensor after looking up the reminding information, reducing steps in the authentication process, and improving the authentication efficiency.
As shown in fig. 3A, fig. 3A is a flowchart illustrating an authentication method according to an exemplary embodiment, which may be applied in a client of an electronic device, and includes the following steps:
in step 301, if a preset fingerprint prompting condition is met, displaying position prompting information in the fingerprint response area, where the position prompting information is used for prompting the position of the fingerprint sensor.
In step 302, a fingerprint identification result for the fingerprint response area is received, wherein the fingerprint identification result is obtained by performing fingerprint identification based on the information collected by the fingerprint sensor.
In step 303, an operation corresponding to the success or failure of the identity authentication is executed according to the fingerprint identification result.
The authentication method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure may be applied to any authentication scenario of a device, for example, an authentication scenario when a screen is unlocked, an authentication scenario when payment is made, an authentication scenario when encrypted information is read, an authentication scenario when an application is downloaded, an authentication scenario when information is deleted, and the like, and the embodiment is not limited. Regardless of the authentication scenario in which the fingerprint authentication method is applied, in implementation, the application program may invoke the fingerprint authentication component, the fingerprint authentication component collects a fingerprint and performs fingerprint authentication, and returns a fingerprint identification result to the application program, and the application program executes an operation corresponding to success or failure of the identity authentication according to the fingerprint identification result, for example, executes an unlocking operation, a login operation, a payment operation, and the like when the identity authentication is successful. In view of this, the disclosed embodiments may be applied in the application (client).
The fingerprint reminding condition is a preset condition for judging whether position reminding information is displayed in the fingerprint response area, and can be set according to specific requirements, and the following description lists several conditions for illustration.
In an alternative implementation, the fingerprint reminding condition includes that the screen is in a bright screen state.
Because the fingerprint sensor is arranged in the touch screen, the user can hardly position the position of the fingerprint sensor, and therefore when the screen is in a bright screen state, the position reminding information can be displayed in the fingerprint response area, so that the user can position the fingerprint response area according to the reminding information as long as the screen is lightened, and the defect that the user cannot position the fingerprint sensor is avoided.
In another alternative implementation, the fingerprint alert condition includes a fingerprint sensor activation.
In practical application, a user cannot use the fingerprint identification function to perform identity authentication all the time, so that the position reminding information can be displayed in the fingerprint response area when the fingerprint sensor is started, the position of the fingerprint sensor can be prompted when the user needs to use the fingerprint identification function to perform identity authentication, and the trouble of displaying the position of the user in real time is avoided.
The position reminding information is used for reminding the position of the fingerprint sensor, and a user can position the position of the fingerprint sensor according to the position reminding information and then carry out identity verification by using a fingerprint. In practical application, the position where the user is more accustomed to reminding is the same as the position of operation, therefore, the position reminding information is displayed in the fingerprint response area, the reminding position is the same as the position of touch operation, the user can directly touch the position where the position reminding information is located to realize fingerprint collection, convenience is brought to the user, the user does not need to look for a fingerprint sensor again after seeing the reminding information, steps in the authentication process are reduced, the authentication efficiency is improved, and convenience is brought to the user.
The position reminding information can be one or more of character reminding information, voice reminding information, images and the like. Wherein, the display area of the image on the screen is the same as the fingerprint response area or the difference is within a designated range. The image may be a fingerprint image, a finger click image, a geometric figure, or the like. The finger-click image may be an image of a finger-click at a point, and the geometric figure may include a rectangle, a circle, an ellipse, and the like.
As shown in fig. 3B, fig. 3B is a schematic diagram illustrating several location reminder information according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. In the schematic diagram, the prompt may be performed by combining text with graphics, for example, in the manner shown in fig. 3B, a rectangular frame is used to define the fingerprint response area, and text such as "fingerprint response area" is displayed in the fingerprint response area. In another example, the image may be used to indicate the location of the fingerprint sensor, since the image is more visual. As shown in the second and third modes of fig. 3B, the display area of the image on the screen is the fingerprint response area, so as to prompt the position of the fingerprint sensor by using the image. The second mode adopts a finger to click the image to indicate the position of the fingerprint sensor, the third mode adopts the fingerprint image to indicate the position of the fingerprint sensor, the intuition is realized, a user can directly touch the area where the fingerprint image is located, and the equipment can realize fingerprint acquisition, fingerprint matching and other operations.
Further, the method further comprises: and after the operation corresponding to the success or failure of the identity authentication is executed according to the fingerprint identification result, the display operation of the position reminding information is cancelled. Therefore, visual fatigue caused by real-time display to the user is avoided, and convenience is brought to the user.
As shown in fig. 3C, fig. 3C is an authentication scenario diagram illustrating the present disclosure according to an exemplary embodiment. In the authentication scenario, the user can perform authentication by means of fingerprint identification to transfer money to others. After the user touches the fingerprint image, if a fingerprint identification result returned by the fingerprint identification module is received, if the identification result is successful, the transfer operation is executed, and the display operation of the position reminding information is cancelled.
In an optional implementation, the method further includes: and displaying verification reminding information for reminding a user to perform fingerprint verification in an area adjacent to the fingerprint response area on the screen.
The verification reminding information is used for reminding a user of fingerprint verification, and can be character reminding information, voice reminding information, image reminding information and the like. For example, "please verify the existing fingerprint and complete payment", or else, like "click to log in" and other reminding information. The verification reminding information is displayed in the area adjacent to the fingerprint response area, so that the range of the user for checking the reminding information can be reduced, the user can conveniently and quickly perform fingerprint identification operation, and convenience is brought to the user.
As shown in fig. 3D, fig. 3D is another authentication scenario diagram shown in accordance with an example embodiment of the present disclosure. In the authentication scenario, the user can transfer money to others by means of fingerprint identification. In the embodiment, information such as verification reminding information ' Touch ID of Payment ' please verify the existing fingerprint, and finish payment ' is displayed in the area adjacent to the fingerprint response area, so that the range of the user viewing the reminding information is reduced.
As shown in fig. 3E, fig. 3E is another authentication scenario diagram shown in accordance with an example embodiment of the present disclosure. In the authentication scenario, the user can log in the application platform by means of fingerprint identification. In this embodiment, the verification alert message "click to login" is displayed at an area adjacent to the fingerprint response area, thereby reducing the scope of the user viewing the alert message.
