Abstract

本发明公开了一种塑料表面阻燃涂层及其制备方法,属于阻燃涂层技术领域。该阻燃涂层由成膜剂、阻燃剂、固化剂、流平剂、偶联剂、填料和乙二醇单丁醚溶剂制成。在制备过程中,各原料在乙二醇单丁醚中的分散性均较好,所获得的阻燃涂层致密,稳定性强,光滑美观;使聚丙烯材料的阻燃等级提高至V‑1级、极限氧指数LOI达到30.3%。且此阻燃涂层与聚丙烯塑料结合紧密,不易脱落,不影响聚丙烯基体材料的力学性能。该阻燃涂层能溶解于乙二醇单丁醚溶液,与基体材料分离,从而可以保证基体材料的回收再利用,不会引入其它杂质。

一种塑料表面阻燃涂层及其制备方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于工程塑料表面的阻燃涂层及其制备方法,属于阻燃涂层技术领域。
背景技术
随着社会经济和科学技术不断发展,大型建筑工程和电缆工程频繁出现,复杂、易燃材料得到了极广泛的应用,随之而来的是各类火灾频频发生。在火灾事故中,由于耐火极限低,许多建筑物发生坍塌,电缆电线被烧损,不仅造成巨大的经济损失还造成了严重的人员伤亡。为了应对火灾的威胁,国内外相关部门及科研机构针对建筑物以及电缆等的耐火要求在寻找有效的保护方法,阻燃涂层应运而生。阻燃涂层是在物体(如木材、墙体、钢材、塑料等)表面涂装阻燃涂料。在火灾未发生时,起到装饰作用;当火灾发生时,可起到阻止火焰迅速蔓延的作用,防止小火酿成大祸,给消防人员争取到更多的抢救时间。优异的阻燃涂层不会影响和破坏基体材料的性能和结构,能延缓火焰的传播,让火焰自熄。因此,阻燃涂层对于减弱甚至于抑制火灾事件具有深远的意义。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种塑料表面阻燃涂层及其制备方法,该涂层属于无卤型高效阻燃涂层,具有良好柔韧性和结合力。
本发明的技术方案为:一种塑料表面阻燃涂层,由以下重量份的原料制成:成膜剂8~10份,阻燃剂10~14份,固化剂1~3份,流平剂1~2份,偶联剂2~4份,填料1~3份和溶剂8~10份。
所述成膜剂为环氧树脂。
所述阻燃剂为三氧化二锑与氢氧化铝混合物,其制备方法包括:
(1)室温条件下,将5~8份氢氧化铝与5~6份三氧化二锑混合后置于球磨罐内;
(2)用行星球磨机将磨罐内的混合粉球磨10~15h;
(3)将上述球磨后的三氧化二锑与氢氧化铝混合粉用无水酒精清洗10~15min,之后在60~100℃温度下干燥5~10小时,得到阻燃剂粉末。
所述的固化剂、流平剂、偶联剂和填料分别是三乙烯四胺、滑石粉、硅烷偶联剂和云母粉。
所述溶剂是乙二醇单丁醚。
一种塑料表面阻燃涂层的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)将流平剂和填料分别球磨10h以上,然后与阻燃剂混合粉混合球磨24h以上,得到球磨混合粉;
(2)将上述球磨混合粉用无水酒精清洗15~20min,在80~100℃温度下干燥5~8小时后得到固体混合粉末;
(3)将上述固体混合粉末置于烧杯中,然后缓慢分别加入成膜剂、溶剂和偶联剂,控制搅拌速度为600~800r/min,搅拌时间在120min以上,直到完全溶解呈乳白胶状物;
(4)向步骤(3)所得胶状物中加入固化剂,以300~400r/min的速度充分搅拌30min~40min,成为分散均匀的涂料;
(5)用涂膜机将上述涂料以10~20cm/min的速度涂覆于经400#砂纸打磨过的聚丙烯塑料板材上,静置晾干24h以上,得到均匀致密的阻燃涂层。
对比现有技术制备的用于塑料表面的阻燃涂层,本发明的阻燃涂层具有以下实质性特点和显著的进步:
1.提高阻燃涂层的膨胀性,使得涂层在厚度很小的情况下仍可获得良好的阻燃效果;
2.提高阻燃涂层的固化速度,使其在自然条件下较快得到固化,硬度高;
3.提高阻燃涂层的消泡能力,使涂层内部均匀致密,无气泡裂纹等缺陷;
4.提高阻燃涂层的结合力,使涂层能够牢固地结合在塑料的表面;
5.通过调节阻燃剂的含量及各组分的比例获得不同厚度的涂层来满足不同阻燃级别的要求;
6.遇火燃烧时,该涂层首先受热膨胀成炭,成为热量和氧气的隔绝层,起到保护内部基体材料的作用,不影响基体材料的力学性能;
7.成本较低,在不改变基体材料的情况下明显改善塑料的阻燃性;
8. 能溶解于乙二醇单丁醚溶液,与基体材料分离,从而可以保证基体材料的回收再利用,不会引入其它杂质。
具体实施方式
实施例一
一种塑料表面阻燃涂层,由以下重量份的原料制成:成膜剂 8~10份,阻燃剂10~14份,固化剂1~3份,流平剂1~2份,偶联剂2~4份,填料1~3份和溶剂8~10份。

优选地,阻燃剂为三氧化二锑与氢氧化铝混合物;
优选地,固化剂为三乙烯四胺;
优选地,流平剂为滑石粉;
优选地,偶联剂硅烷偶联剂;
优选地,填料为云母粉;
优选地,溶剂是乙二醇单丁醚。
上述所述阻燃剂为三氧化二锑与氢氧化铝混合物,其制备方法包括:
(1)室温条件下,将5份氢氧化铝与6份三氧化二锑混合后置于球磨罐内;
(2)用行星球磨机将磨罐内的混合粉球磨10~15h;
(3)将上述球磨后的三氧化二锑与氢氧化铝混合粉用无水酒精清洗10~15min,之后在60~100℃温度下干燥5~10小时,得到阻燃剂粉末。
该塑料表面阻燃涂层的制备方法包括:
1.将流平剂和填料分别球磨10~12h,然后与阻燃剂混合粉混合球磨24~30h,得到球磨混合粉;
2.将上述球磨混合粉用无水酒精清洗15~20min,在80~100℃温度下干燥5~8小时后得到固体混合粉末;
3.将上述固体混合粉末置于烧杯中,然后缓慢分别加入成膜剂、溶剂和偶联剂,控制搅拌速度为600~800r/min,搅拌时间在120~150min,直到完全溶解呈乳白胶状物;
4.向步骤3所得胶状物中加入固化剂,以300~400r/min的速度充分搅拌30min~40min,成为分散均匀的涂料;
5.用涂膜机将上述涂料以10~20cm/min的速度涂覆于经400#砂纸打磨过的聚丙烯塑料板材上,静置晾干24~28h,得到均匀致密的阻燃涂层。
对本实施例一所制得的阻燃涂层进行性能检测。
采用划格法进行结合力的测试,是以直角网格图形的切割方式切割涂层穿透至底材时,观察涂层表面被切割后的涂层状态,用来评定抵抗涂层与底材之间脱离能力的一种结合力测试方法。本实验研究就是按照国家标准GB/T 9286-1998漆膜的划格试验进行结合力的测试,将制好的涂有相应涂料的结合力性能测试试样经行划格,用相应的刀具切割间距为5 mm的5×5个小格,观察其发生脱落的十字交叉切割区的表面外观,对应相关的试验结果分级表定级结合力的等级。实验结果表明:阻燃涂层能牢固地附着于聚丙烯表面。
实验采用型号为CZF-6的水平垂直燃烧测定仪,根据GB/T 2408-2008,试样尺寸要求:长×宽为125±5 mm×13.0±0.5 mm,需要提供测试的最小厚度为3 mm,该实验试样采用125×13.5×3 mm的尺寸。试验火焰采用标称功率50 W的小火焰引燃源,焰高20±1 mm,燃烧角度焰炉倾斜45º,置入火焰6 mm深处,30±1秒或燃烧至25 mm处时移走焰炉,火焰燃烧至25±1 mm处时开始计时,计下停燃烧时所用的时间和燃烧过的长度,对试样进行两次10秒的燃烧测试,观察实验现象。实验结果表明:燃烧后的炭层,不仅膨胀性好,而且所成炭层密实。
按照GB/T 2406.2-2009,极限氧指数的测定运用设备氧指数测定仪,是将至少15个相同规格的聚合物样条在规定条件下,通入氧和氮的混合气体,将试片用点火器点燃,测定保持如蜡状态持续燃烧所必须的最低氧浓度(以百分数表示)。测得本实施例阻燃涂层的极限氧指数LOI为30.3%。
对本实施例一所制得的阻燃涂层进行平行实验比较,通过改变阻燃剂中氢氧化铝(Al(OH)3)与三氧化二锑(Sb2O3)的比例含量,制备方法和实施例一的相同,分别得到实施例二和实施例三的阻燃涂层。三组阻燃涂层的主要区别如下:
实施例一的阻燃剂中Al(OH)3:Sb2O3=5:6
实施例二的阻燃剂中Al(OH)3:Sb2O3=6:6
实施例三的阻燃剂中Al(OH)3:Sb2O3=8:6
对上述三组阻燃涂层进行GB/T 2408-2008塑料燃烧性能的测试,结果如表1所示。

从表1可以看出,本发明制备的阻燃涂层使聚丙烯材料的阻燃等级提高至V1级,且阻燃涂层与聚丙烯塑料结合紧密,不易脱落,不影响聚丙烯基体材料的力学性能。
以上所述,仅为本发明的具体实施方式,但本发明的保护范围并不局限于此,任何不经过创造性劳动想到的变化或简单替换,都应该涵盖在本发明的保护范围之内。

1.一种塑料表面阻燃涂层,其特征在于,由以下重量份的原料制成:成膜剂 8~10份,阻燃剂10~14份,固化剂1~3份,流平剂1~2份,偶联剂2~4份,填料1~3份和溶剂8~10份。
2.根据权利要求1所述的塑料表面阻燃涂层,其特征在于:所述成膜剂为环氧树脂。
3.根据权利要求1所述的塑料表面阻燃涂层,其特征在于:所述阻燃剂为三氧化二锑与氢氧化铝混合物,其制备方法包括:
(1)室温条件下,将5~8份氢氧化铝与5~6份三氧化二锑混合后置于球磨罐内;
(2)用行星球磨机将磨罐内的混合粉球磨10~15h;
(3)将上述球磨后的三氧化二锑与氢氧化铝混合粉用无水酒精清洗10~15min,之后在60~100℃温度下干燥5~10小时,得到阻燃剂粉末。

5.根据权利要求1所述的塑料表面阻燃涂层,其特征在于:所述溶剂是乙二醇单丁醚。
6.一种根据权利要求1~5任一所述的塑料表面阻燃涂层的制备方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
(1)将流平剂和填料分别球磨10h以上,然后与阻燃剂混合粉混合球磨24h以上,得到球磨混合粉;
(2)将上述球磨混合粉用无水酒精清洗15~20min,在80~100℃温度下干燥5~8小时后得到固体混合粉末;
(3)将上述固体混合粉末置于烧杯中,然后缓慢分别加入成膜剂、溶剂和偶联剂,控制搅拌速度为600~800r/min,搅拌时间在120min以上,直到完全溶解呈乳白胶状物;
(4)向步骤(3)所得胶状物中加入固化剂,以300~400r/min的速度充分搅拌30min~40min,成为分散均匀的涂料;
(5)用涂膜机将上述涂料以10~20cm/min的速度涂覆于经400#砂纸打磨过的聚丙烯塑料板材上,静置晾干24h以上,得到均匀致密的阻燃涂层。
