为了解决碳化硼冶炼过程中存在的耗电量大、冶炼成本高问题,本发明提供一种使用中频炉冶炼碳化硼的方法,利用碳化硼冶炼过程中冶炼原料、冶炼用具导电发热的特性,降低碳化硼冶炼过程中的用电量。

技术领域
本发明涉及碳化硼冶炼领域,尤其是一种使用中频炉冶炼碳化硼的方法。
背景技术
碳化硼具有熔点高、比重小、耐磨耐腐蚀等特点,是一种新型高性能工程材料,但在碳化硼冶炼过程中存在耗电量大、冶炼成本高的问题。
发明内容
为了解决碳化硼冶炼过程中存在的耗电量大、冶炼成本高问题,本发明提供一种使用中频炉冶炼碳化硼的方法,利用碳化硼冶炼过程中冶炼原料、冶炼用具导电发热的特性,降低碳化硼冶炼过程中的用电量。
本发明解决其技术问题所采用的技术方案是:一种使用中频炉冶炼碳化硼的方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)配料:把硼酸与碳素原料混合均匀形成混合原料,所述硼酸与碳素原料的质量比例为3:1;
(2)准备冶炼:把所述混合原料放入石墨坩埚,再把装有混合原料的石墨坩埚放入中频炉中;
(3)冶炼:打开中频炉,把中频炉频率调到700-1000HZ、功率设置为50KW,使中频炉内温度达到1700℃-2450℃的状态保持10分钟;
(4)冷却:关闭中频炉,使中频炉冷却到规定温度;
(5)成品:取出冷却的石墨坩埚,即得到碳化硼块,完成碳化硼冶炼。
本发明的有益效果是,利用石墨坩埚、碳素材料、碳化硼自有的导电发热特性,能够使碳化硼的冶炼用电量降低三分之二。
具体实施方式
以下实施例本发明的原理和特征进行描述,所举实施例只用于解释本发明,并非用于限定本发明的范围。
本发明实施例的具体操作步骤如下:
(1)配料:把5.1吨硼酸与1.7吨碳素原料混合均匀形成混合原料;
(2)准备冶炼:把所述混合原料放入石墨坩埚,再把装有混合原料的石墨坩埚放入中频炉中;
(3)冶炼:打开中频炉,把中频炉频率调到800HZ、功率设置为50KW,使中频炉内温度达到2350℃的状态保持10分钟;
(4)冷却:关闭中频炉,使中频炉冷却到规定温度;
(5)成品:取出冷却的石墨坩埚,即得到碳化硼块,完成碳化硼冶炼。

1.一种使用中频炉冶炼碳化硼的方法,其特征在于,所述方法包括以下步骤:
(1)配料:把硼酸与碳素原料混合均匀形成混合原料,所述硼酸与碳素原料的质量比例为3:1;
(2)准备冶炼:把所述混合原料放入石墨坩埚,再把装有混合原料的石墨坩埚放入中频炉中;
(3)冶炼:打开中频炉,把中频炉频率调到700-1000HZ、功率设置为50KW,使中频炉内温度达到1700℃-2450℃的状态保持10分钟;
(4)冷却:关闭中频炉,使中频炉冷却到规定温度;
(5)成品:取出冷却的石墨坩埚,即得到碳化硼块,完成碳化硼冶炼。
