一种波导装置及包括其的芯片,该波导装置包括耦合的第一波导结构(150,250,350)和第二波导结构(160,260,360)。第一波导结构(150,250,350)由第一直波导(110,210,310)、第一弯曲波导(101,201,301)和第二直波导(120,220,320)构成,第一直波导(110,210,310)和第二直波导(120,220,320)通过第一弯曲波导(101,201,301)相连接。第二波导结构(160,260,360)由第三直波导(130,230,330)、第二弯曲波导(102,202,302)和第四直波导(140,240,340)构成,第三直波导(130,230,330)和第四直波导(140,240,340)通过第二弯曲波导(102,202,302)相连接。该波导装置避免了波导的直接横跨导致器件空间结构的突变,因此在进行光束传输时有效地减少了传输损耗。
