Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of a video viewing peak traffic splitting method provided in an embodiment of the present invention, applied to a server side, including:
step 101, obtaining a video watching list and a habit watching time period of a user watching a continuous video, wherein the continuous video at least comprises: one or more of a series, a variety program, and an animation, the video viewing list including an identification of the sequential video viewed by the user.
Continuous video refers to video programs with continuity, such as dramas, anaglyphs and animations, which have obvious continuity, and most of the continuous video watched by people is updated at a fixed time and is online with new episodes. In video websites, continuous video occupies the vast majority of daily video traffic.
In all videos watched by the user, finding out the continuous video watched by the user, and obtaining a video watching list of the continuous video watched by the user, wherein an identifier of the continuous video watched by the user is stored in the video watching list, and the identifier can be a name of the continuous video, a code number of the continuous video, and the like. The viewing list may have an identification of one or more consecutive videos.
And a habit viewing period in which the user is accustomed to viewing the continuous video is obtained. The habit viewing period is a period in which the user views the continuous video frequently, for example, the user is used to view the continuous video in a period of 8 to 10 nights due to a limitation of working hours. The time period can be regarded as a user habit viewing time period.
Step 102, when the habitual watching time period is a peak time period, obtaining the online time of all the continuous videos in the video watching list according to the identification of the continuous videos in the video watching list, wherein the peak time period is a time period when the video flow reaches a preset flow threshold value, and the online time and the peak time period are different.
The server of the video website can preset a flow threshold value according to different requirements, count website flow all day long, and take the time period when the website flow is larger than the preset flow threshold value as a peak time period. There may be one or more peak time periods.
The video website has too large flow in the peak time period, so that the situations of blocking, slow downloading and the like are easily caused, and the user experience is not good. In off-peak time periods, these problems are not caused, and the user experience is not greatly influenced. The user's video viewing experience is only affected when the user's habitual viewing time period overlaps the peak time period.
And aiming at the users with the habit of watching the time period overlapped with the peak time period, acquiring the online time of the video in the watching list according to the identification of the continuous video in the video watching list of the users, wherein the online time is the time for updating and online the new episode of the continuous video. The server does not update and bring up new episodes during peak hours. Therefore, the on-line time of the continuous video is different from the peak time period, and after the continuous video is on-line and updated, a time interval is provided until the peak time period is reached. For example: the on-line time for many continuous videos is early in the morning, while the peak time period is typically 8 to 10 nights. There is a longer time interval.
The online time can be obtained from a background editing system of the server, the background editing system is used for controlling various video updating and online systems, various video resources are prepared to be online and updated in the background editing system, and the online time of the continuous video in the video watching list can be obtained from the online time. Of course, different servers control the online time of the video resource in different manners, but the online time can be considered to be controlled, so the online time acquired in various manners all belong to the protection scope of the embodiment of the present invention.
Step 103, after the online time of one or more continuous videos in the video watching list is reached, pushing online information of the one or more continuous videos to the terminal equipment currently used by the user, so that the terminal equipment currently used by the user downloads the video content of the one or more continuous videos according to the online information, wherein the online information includes the identification of the one or more continuous videos.
The online time of all the continuous videos in the user's video viewing list has been obtained, but the online time of different continuous videos may be different. And when the online time of one or more continuous videos is reached, pushing the online information of the one or more continuous videos reaching the online time to the terminal equipment currently used by the user.
The terminal device is a device capable of watching continuous videos, and a mobile phone, a computer, a tablet computer, a television box and the like of a user can be used as the terminal device.
By sending the online information to the terminal equipment currently used by the user, after the terminal equipment receives the online information, the video content of one or more continuous videos can be automatically downloaded according to the identification of one or more continuous videos contained in the online information. The video content may be video content of a new episode of the one or more continuous videos that is newly updated and brought online.
The terminal equipment can download after receiving the online information, the part of traffic generated by automatically downloading one or more continuous videos by the terminal equipment is recorded at the server side, and when the video website server needs to count the total traffic of the peak time period, the part of traffic can be counted together according to the virtual traffic.
In the embodiment of the invention, aiming at a user who is used to watch the continuous video in the peak time period, the video watching list of the continuous video watched by the user is obtained, the online time of the continuous video in the video watching list is obtained, and the online information of the continuous video is actively pushed to the terminal equipment of the user after the online time is reached, so that the terminal equipment of the user downloads the video content of the continuous video watched by the user before the peak time period by utilizing the online time of the video and the time interval of the peak time period. Therefore, on the premise of not changing the watching habit, the flow of the video website is not occupied in the peak time period, the delay and pause caused by downloading and watching the video in the peak time period are avoided, the watching habit of the user is not changed, and the user experience is improved. The shunting of the video traffic in the peak time period is realized. Meanwhile, the problem that in the prior art, the CDN switching times are increased and the overall system load is increased due to the fact that the edge server bears too high flow in a peak time period is solved.
Preferably, in the video watching peak period traffic splitting method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, obtaining a video watching list and a habit watching time period for a user to watch a continuous video includes:
the method comprises the following steps of firstly, obtaining a watching record of watching the continuous video by a user, wherein the watching record comprises the identification of the continuous video and the watching time of the continuous video.
When the user watches the video, no matter which terminal equipment the user watches through, the server can record the condition that the user watches the video, including recording the identification of the video watched by the user and the watching time of the video watched by the user. The watching record can be a record in a month or a longer time, and can be specifically set according to needs.
From the recording of all videos watched by the user, a watching record of the continuous video watched by the user can be obtained. Other types of video content, such as various short videos, etc., do not have continuity, do not go on-line with periodic updates, and thus do not have the basis and need to push the on-line information ahead of time and download it.
And secondly, counting the watching times of the continuous videos in the watching records according to the watching records, and identifying the continuous videos of which the watching times are more than or equal to a preset value to form a video watching list.
In the viewing record of the user viewing the continuous video, there may be some continuous video users who only viewed once or twice and do not watch any more, which proves that the user is not viewing the continuous video continuously. It is not necessary to push the online information of the continuous video to the user and make the terminal device of the user download.
Therefore, the watching times of the continuous videos in the watching records can be counted, if the watching times of one continuous video are larger than or equal to the preset value, the user still continuously watches the continuous video, the online information of the continuous video can be pushed to the user, and the terminal equipment of the user can be downloaded. The preset value is a value that can be set according to needs, for example, the preset value can be set to 3, and if the number of viewing times is greater than 3, it can be considered that the user is viewing continuously.
In the watching record, the identifications of all the continuous videos with the watching times larger than or equal to the preset value are obtained, and the identifications are formed into a video watching list. All the continuous videos in the video viewing list are continuous videos that the user is continuously viewing.
And thirdly, counting the watching time of all the continuous videos in the watching record in a plurality of preset time periods, and taking the preset time period with the maximum watching frequency of the continuous videos in the plurality of preset time periods as a habit watching time period.
The time of a day is divided into a plurality of time periods in advance, the watching time of all the continuous videos in the watching record is counted according to the plurality of time periods divided in advance, and the time period divided in advance with the largest number of times of watching the continuous videos can be used as the habit watching time period of the user.
In the embodiment of the invention, the identification of the continuous video continuously watched by the user is more accurately obtained through the watching record of the user, so that the video content automatically downloaded by the terminal equipment of the end user is the video content of the continuous video continuously watched by the user. The online information of the continuous video which is not watched by the user is pushed to the terminal equipment of the user, the resource waste is avoided, the pushing accuracy is improved, and the user experience is improved. Meanwhile, according to the watching records of the user, the habit watching time period of the user can be obtained more accurately by counting the watching time, and therefore whether the habit watching time period of the user is the peak time period or not can be judged more accurately.
Preferably, in the method for shunting traffic during peak video viewing provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the terminal device currently used by the user is a terminal device currently logged in through a user account.
Various terminal devices can log in through a user account, after a user logs in through the account, a server of a video website can consider the terminal device to be the terminal device used by the user at present, and the logging in not only can refer to logging in the video website, but also can be logging in through a client of the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the invention, different users can be accurately identified through the user account, and the online information of the continuous video watched by the user can be pushed for different users. Meanwhile, after logging in through the user account, the server can know that the terminal equipment of the user logging in the account is in a networking state, can push online information, and enables the terminal equipment to download video contents according to the online information.
Preferably, in the video viewing peak flow splitting method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the pushing of the online information of one or more series videos to the terminal device currently used by the user so as to enable the terminal device currently used by the user to download the video content of one or more continuous videos according to the online information includes:
the method comprises the steps of pushing terminal equipment information of commonly-used terminal equipment of a user to the terminal equipment currently used by the user, and pushing online information of one or more continuous videos to enable the terminal equipment currently used by the user to download video contents of one or more continuous videos according to the online information when the terminal equipment currently used by the user is judged to be the commonly-used terminal equipment of the user according to the terminal equipment information of the commonly-used terminal equipment of the user, wherein the terminal equipment information comprises type information of the terminal equipment and identification information of the terminal equipment, the type information is the type of the terminal equipment, the identification information is identification codes which are different and unique from one terminal equipment of the same type, and the commonly-used terminal equipment of the user is the terminal equipment for watching the continuous videos.
When a user watches a continuous video, commonly used terminal equipment exists, for example, the user is used to watch the continuous video by using a tablet computer at 8 o 'clock to 10 o' clock later, and in other time periods, the mobile phone of the user is logged in through a user account. However, the user does not use the mobile phone to watch the continuous video, so that in this case, it is meaningless to push the online information to the mobile phone of the user and make the mobile phone download the video content.
In order to avoid the situation, when online information of one or more continuous videos is pushed to the terminal device currently used by the user, terminal device information of the terminal device commonly used by the user is synchronously pushed, so that the terminal device currently used by the user judges whether the terminal device is the commonly used terminal device or not according to the terminal device information, and when the terminal device currently used by the user is the commonly used terminal device of the user, the video content of the one or more continuous videos is downloaded according to the online information.
The terminal equipment information comprises type information of the terminal equipment and identification information of the terminal equipment, whether the type of the terminal equipment currently used by a user is consistent with the type of the terminal equipment commonly used by the user can be judged according to the type information, the type information is the type of the terminal equipment, if the types of the terminal equipment are not consistent, the terminal equipment receiving the online information at this time can be directly judged, the terminal equipment is not the terminal equipment commonly used by the user, and the video content of one or more continuous videos does not need to be downloaded. Therefore, quick judgment is realized, and the efficiency is improved.
When the types of the terminal devices are consistent, whether the terminal devices are frequently used by the user can be judged according to the identification information. The identification information is a unique identification code which is different from each other for the same type of terminal equipment, and can be used for distinguishing different individuals of the same type of terminal equipment.
After different terminal devices of the user log in through the user account, the server sends online information to the terminal devices which log in through the user account.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal equipment currently used by the user can judge whether the terminal equipment is the frequently-used terminal equipment of the user or not by pushing the terminal equipment information of the frequently-used terminal equipment of the user, so that the continuous video can be prevented from being downloaded in advance on the terminal equipment which is not watched by the user, the pushing is more accurate, and the resource waste is avoided.
Preferably, in the video viewing peak period traffic splitting method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, before pushing terminal device information of a terminal device commonly used by a user to a terminal device currently used by the user, the method further includes:
the method comprises the steps of firstly, obtaining a watching record of watching the continuous video by a user, wherein the watching record also comprises terminal equipment information of terminal equipment used for watching the continuous video.
In the watching record of the user, the terminal device information of the terminal device used by the user for watching the continuous video each time is also stored, so that the common terminal device used by the user to watch the continuous video can be obtained according to the watching record of the user.
And secondly, obtaining a preset number of watching records nearest to the current time in the watching records of the continuous video watched by the user.
The preset number is a value that can be set as needed, for example, when set to 3, the 3 viewing records closest to the current time are obtained among the viewing records.
And thirdly, acquiring the terminal equipment with the maximum use times in the preset number of viewing records as the user commonly-used terminal equipment according to the terminal equipment information in the preset number of viewing records and the equipment type and the identification code in the terminal information, and acquiring the terminal equipment information of the user commonly-used terminal equipment from the viewing records.
In the viewing record, the same terminal device information is used, so that in the preset number of records, the terminal device corresponding to the terminal device information with the largest occurrence frequency is the terminal device with the largest use frequency, the terminal device is used as the user commonly-used terminal device, and the terminal device information of the terminal device is obtained and used as the terminal device information of the user commonly-used terminal device.
And fourthly, if different terminal equipment is used in each viewing record in the preset number of viewing records, using the terminal equipment used in the viewing record closest to the current time as the user frequently-used terminal equipment, and obtaining the terminal equipment information of the user frequently-used terminal equipment from the records.
If the terminal device information of each record in the preset number of viewing records is different, different terminal devices are used in each viewing record of the preset number, at this time, the terminal device used by the user last time is most likely to be the user frequently-used terminal device, and the user can possibly continue to use the terminal device when watching the continuous video next time, so that the terminal device is used as the user frequently-used terminal device, and the terminal device information of the user frequently-used terminal device is obtained from the records.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal equipment information of the terminal equipment commonly used by the user is obtained by watching the watching record of the continuous video. Therefore, the terminal equipment commonly used by the user can be judged more accurately, and a reliable foundation is laid for the terminal equipment receiving the online information to judge whether the terminal equipment is the terminal equipment commonly used by the user.
Preferably, in the video viewing peak flow splitting method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, before pushing the online information of one or more series videos to the terminal device currently used by the user, so that the terminal device currently used by the user downloads the video content of one or more continuous videos according to the online information, the method further includes:
the method comprises the steps of firstly, obtaining a watching record of watching a continuous video by a user, wherein the watching record also comprises an episode number of the continuous video;
when a user watches a continuous video, it may occur that an episode of the continuous video that the user needs to watch is not a newly updated and online episode. In this case, it makes no sense to push the latest online video content to the user. It is necessary to determine the number of episodes of the sequential video that the user watches.
The viewing record of the user viewing the sequential video further includes the sequence number of the episode of each sequential video viewed by the user, for example, the sequence number of the episode that the user has viewed a certain sequential play is stored in the viewing record.
In a second step, the episode numbers for which one or more sequential videos have been viewed are obtained in the viewing record.
And thirdly, acquiring the next episode serial number of one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user according to the observed episode serial numbers.
After obtaining the episode numbers of the one or more continuous videos that have been watched from the watching record, it is obvious that the episode number of the one or more continuous videos that the user wants to download and watch is the next episode number of the episode numbers that have been watched. The video content corresponding to the next episode number may be the latest updated and online video content, or the video content that has been online and stored in the server.
Correspondingly, in the video viewing peak period traffic splitting method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the method for pushing the online information of one or more series videos to the terminal device currently used by the user so as to enable the terminal device currently used by the user to download the video content of one or more continuous videos according to the online information includes:
when the online information of one or more continuous videos is pushed to the terminal equipment currently used by the user, the next episode serial number of the one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user is added into the online information, so that the terminal equipment currently used by the user downloads the video content corresponding to the one or more continuous videos corresponding to the next episode serial number according to the next episode serial number of the one or more continuous videos.
And adding the next episode serial number of one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user into online information, and pushing the online information to the terminal equipment currently used by the user. The terminal device may download the video content of one or more continuous videos according to the next episode number to be downloaded.
In the embodiment of the invention, the episode number which is watched by the user is obtained in the watching record, so that the episode to be watched by the user is accurately judged. Therefore, the terminal equipment can download the video content of the continuously video which is updated latest and is on-line, and can also download the video content of the continuously video which needs to be watched by the user according to the actual watching progress of the user, so that the accuracy of downloading the continuously video in advance is improved, and the user experience is improved.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is another flowchart of a video watching peak period traffic splitting method provided by an embodiment of the present invention, which is applied to a terminal device side, and includes:
step 201, receiving online information of one or more continuous videos, wherein the online information includes an identifier of the one or more continuous videos.
The terminal device may be a device used by a user to watch continuous videos, and may be a mobile phone, a computer, a tablet computer, a television box, and the like. After the terminal devices are connected to the network through the user account, the terminal devices can receive online information of one or more continuous videos pushed by the server side.
And 202, downloading the video contents of one or more continuous videos according to the identification of one or more continuous videos in the online information.
After receiving the online information of the one or more continuous videos, the terminal device may download the video content of the one or more continuous videos according to the identifier of the one or more continuous videos in the online information, where the video content may be a newly updated and online video content of the one or more continuous videos.
The user can set the terminal device, for example, when the terminal device is a mobile phone, the terminal device can be set to download when the mobile phone is connected to the wireless network. Of course, the user can select whether to start the function according to the needs of the user, that is, whether to download the video content of the continuous video watched by the user in advance.
In the embodiment of the invention, a function of downloading the continuous video content in advance is provided on the terminal equipment used by the user for watching the continuous video. The method and the device enable the terminal equipment of the user to download the video content of the continuous video watched by the user in advance in the time interval between the online time and the peak time period of the continuous video, so that the user does not experience bad experiences such as jamming and time delay when watching the continuous video in the peak time period, and the watching process is smooth. Meanwhile, the pressure and the flow of the server in the peak time period are reduced, and the problems that the CDN switching times are increased due to overlarge flow and the like are solved.
Preferably, in the video viewing peak period traffic splitting method provided by the embodiment of the invention,
receiving online information of one or more continuous videos, comprising:
the method comprises the steps of receiving online information and receiving terminal equipment information of user common terminal equipment, wherein the terminal equipment information comprises type information of the terminal equipment and identification information of the terminal equipment, the type information is the type of the terminal equipment, the identification information is different and unique identification codes of the same type of terminal equipment, and the user common terminal equipment is the terminal equipment for watching continuous videos by a user.
The terminal device currently used by the user may not necessarily be the terminal device commonly used by the user to watch the continuous video during the habitual watching period.
Therefore, when receiving the online information, the terminal device can synchronously receive the terminal device information of the terminal device commonly used by the user, and is used for judging whether the terminal device receiving the online information is the terminal device commonly used by the user.
Each terminal device has its own terminal device information, which is first device type information for distinguishing the type of the device, for example, whether the terminal device is a mobile phone, a computer, or a television box. And secondly, an identification code is used for comparing whether the identification codes are consistent when the types of the equipment are consistent, wherein the identification code is a code unique to each equipment, for example, each mobile phone has a hardware code. The identification code may be a hardware code of the terminal device or a code set by the system, and may be an identification code as long as the identification is unique to each terminal device.
Correspondingly, downloading the video content of one or more continuous videos according to the identification of one or more continuous videos in the online information, which comprises the following steps:
and judging whether the terminal equipment is the terminal equipment commonly used by the user or not by comparing the terminal equipment information of the terminal equipment commonly used by the user with the terminal equipment information of the terminal equipment.
The terminal equipment which receives the online information and the terminal equipment information of the user common terminal equipment compares the own equipment information with the received terminal equipment information of the user common terminal equipment, if the equipment information is consistent with the received terminal equipment information of the user common terminal equipment, the terminal equipment is represented as the user common terminal equipment, and if the equipment information is inconsistent with the received terminal equipment information of the user common terminal equipment, the terminal equipment is represented as the user common terminal equipment, and the video content can not be downloaded.
And when the terminal equipment is the terminal equipment commonly used by the user, downloading the video content of one or more continuous videos according to the identification of one or more continuous videos in the online information.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal equipment judges whether the terminal equipment is the terminal equipment commonly used by the user, and the video content is downloaded only when the terminal equipment is the terminal equipment commonly used by the user, so that the problem of repeated downloading caused when the user uses various terminal equipment is avoided, and the waste of network resources of the user is avoided.
Preferably, in the video watching peak period traffic splitting method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the online information further includes episode numbers of one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user.
The episode number of one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user is obtained by the server according to the watching record of the continuous videos watched by the user.
Correspondingly, in the video viewing peak period traffic splitting method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, downloading the video content of one or more continuous videos according to the identifier of one or more continuous videos in the online information includes:
and downloading video content corresponding to the one or more continuous videos corresponding to the episode number according to the identification of the one or more continuous videos and the episode number of the one or more continuous videos.
The terminal equipment firstly determines which continuous videos need to be downloaded according to the identification of one or more continuous videos, and then downloads the video contents of the episode to be downloaded in the continuous videos according to the episode serial number in the online information.
The online information received by the terminal equipment also comprises the episode serial numbers of one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user, and the terminal equipment can download the video content of the corresponding continuous video according to the episode serial numbers instead of downloading the video content of the continuously video which is updated and online newly. Therefore, the video content of the continuous video required to be watched by the user can be downloaded according to the actual watching progress of the user. The user is prevented from downloading and watching continuous videos in the peak time period, and the peak time flow is shunted in advance.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a system structure diagram of the video viewing peak traffic splitting method according to the embodiment of the present invention.
The statistical analysis background 311 in the server 302 obtains the viewing record of the user viewing the continuous video through the user terminal device 301. The viewing record may also be obtained in the server from the user's login account.
And the statistical analysis background 311 obtains a video watching list of the continuous video watched by the user, a user habit watching time period, an episode number of the continuous video to be downloaded by the user, and terminal equipment information commonly used by the user according to the watching record of the user. When the statistical analysis background 311 determines that the user habit viewing time period is the peak time period, the video viewing list of the user, the episode number of the continuous video that the user needs to download, and the terminal device information that the user commonly uses are sent to the program pushing server 312.
The program push server 312 obtains the above information from the statistical analysis background 311, and obtains the online time of the continuous video in the video watching list in the background editing system 313 according to the identifier of the continuous video in the video watching list.
When the online time of one or more continuous videos in the video watching list is reached, the program push server 312 sends online information and terminal device information commonly used by the user to the user terminal device, where the online information includes an identifier of the one or more continuous videos and an episode number of the one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user.
Meanwhile, when the online time of one or more continuous videos in the video watching list is reached, the background editing system 313 updates and uploads the latest episode of the one or more continuous videos to the content distribution server 314. The content distribution server 314 is a distributed server in which such video assets are stored, and users can download video assets from the nearest content distribution server 314.
After receiving the online information and the terminal device information commonly used by the user, the user terminal device 301 determines whether the user terminal device is a terminal device commonly used by the user according to the terminal device information commonly used by the user, and automatically downloads the video content of one or more continuous videos from the content distribution server 314 according to the identification of one or more continuous videos in the online information and the episode number of one or more continuous videos to be downloaded by the user when the user terminal device is the terminal device commonly used by the user.
