Abstract
本发明涉及光纤技术领域,具体提供光纤微泡法珀传感器及其传感方法,用以克服现有光纤法珀腔传感器结构复杂、制作工艺复杂、制作难度极高且成本高昂的缺陷;本发明在单模光纤平端面纤芯处沉积均匀的碳纳米薄膜构成光纤微泡法珀传感器;将传感器浸没在微流体系中,激光器提供的光能,经单模光纤传输,从光纤端面出射,照射在碳纳米薄膜上,由于碳纳米管具有良好的传热性能,在碳纳米管薄膜处形成一个微气泡,即微气泡法珀腔;通过对微气泡法珀腔的光谱信息进行探测,实现对液体环境因素,如温度、流速等信息的传感。该传感器结构简单,大大降低了光纤端面微结构制备的难度,并且体积小、成本低,操作灵活。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及光纤技术领域,特别涉及光纤微泡法珀传感器及其传感方法。
背景技术
光纤传感与传统的传感方式相比具有很多不可替代的优势。光纤传感器灵敏度高,抗电磁干扰,电绝缘,耐高压,耐腐蚀,适用于恶劣环境。并且,光纤传感器还具有质量轻,体积小,可弯曲缠绕,成本低等诸多优点,使其在石油化工、电力、医学、土木工程等诸多领域中发挥着不可替代的作用。在众多光纤传感器结构中,光纤法珀腔传感器更是由于其结构简单,线性度好等优良特性,受到各领域的广泛关注。光纤法珀腔传感器依据的是光学法珀干涉原理,其核心结构是在光纤上引入光学谐振腔,它是由两个反射系数分别为R1和R2、具有一定间距d的反射面组成的;当被传感量引起光学谐振腔的变化,使R1,R2或d发生变化,即会引起干涉结果发生改变,实现对被传感量的探测。因此,光纤法珀腔传感器具有响应速度快,测量精度高,动态范围大,等优势。
光纤法珀腔传感器主要有两类结构,一是在光纤上引入光学谐振腔,一是在光纤端面引入探头式光学谐振腔;相对于第一种结构,探头式结构体积小,操作灵活,便于移动,可制成嵌入式灵巧结构(Smart Structure)型光纤传感器;然而光纤端面尺寸小,在光纤端面制作微结构工艺较为复杂,增大了传感器的制作难度。针对上述问题,本发明提出了光纤微泡法珀传感器及其传感方法。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供光纤微泡法珀传感器及其传感方法,用以克服现有光纤法珀腔传感器结构复杂、制作工艺复杂、制作难度极高且成本高昂的缺陷;本发明在单模光纤平端面纤芯处沉积均匀的碳纳米薄膜构成光纤微泡法珀传感器;将传感器浸没在水中时,激光器提供的光能,经单模光纤传输,从光纤端面出射,照射在碳纳米薄膜上,由于碳纳米管具有良好的传热性能,在碳纳米管薄膜处形成一个微气泡,即微气泡法珀腔。微气泡法珀腔的形成受到液体环境因素的影响,通过对微气泡法珀腔的光谱信息进行探测,实现对液体环境因素,如温度、流速等信息的传感。该传感器结构简单,大大降低了光纤端面微结构制备的难度,并且体积小、成本低,操作灵活,可对微流系统内任意位置进行传感。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用的技术方案为:
光纤微泡法珀传感器,其特征在于,所述传感器由单模光纤,以及均匀沉积于单模光纤平端面纤芯处的碳纳米薄膜构成。
进一步的,所述碳纳米薄膜的厚度为1-3μm。
所述单模光纤的中心波长为980nm,所述单模光纤平端面指光纤切割平整的端面。
进一步的,上述光纤微泡法珀传感器的传感方法,其特征在于,将传感器浸没在微流体系中,激光器提供的光能,经单模光纤传输,从光纤平端面出射,照射在碳纳米薄膜上,在碳纳米管薄膜处形成微气泡法珀腔,通过测量单位时间生成的微气泡法珀腔的光谱信息,实现对微流体系环境因素的传感。
进一步的,上述光纤微泡法珀传感器的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
步骤1、将单模光纤的一个端面切割平整,获得光纤平端面;另一端连接激光器;
步骤2、将单模光纤平端面竖直插入均匀的碳纳米管溶液中,固定;
步骤3、打开激光器,接通光路,将单模光纤缓慢从碳纳米管溶液中竖直抽出,即完成一次在单模光纤平端面上镀碳纳米薄膜的操作;
步骤4、重复步骤3,对单模光纤平端面进行多次镀膜操作,直至碳纳米薄膜达到所需厚度。
所述单模光纤的中心波长为980nm,所述激光器的波长为980nm、功率为20-300mW。
本发明中的微法珀腔传感方法是基于碳纳米管的热传导性能,利用光的力学、热学效应,将碳纳米管吸附到单模光纤端面纤芯处,形成碳纳米管薄膜,将微气泡法珀腔生成部浸入液体中时,打开980nm激光器,由于碳纳米管沿长度方向具有较高的热传递性,因此,碳纳米薄膜可以将光能转化的热能很好的限制住,使热能集中在碳纳米薄膜的表面,生成微气泡,即法珀腔外界液体环境的温度、流速等信息会影响微气泡的生成速度,因此,通过测量单位时间生成的微气泡法珀腔的光谱信息,即可实现对微流通道的流速、温度信息的传感。
与现有技术相比,本发明的具有以下有益效果:
(1)本发明提供的光纤微泡法珀传感器,由于光纤本身的尺寸小,在光纤端面形成的微气泡法珀腔的尺寸也足够小,有利于集成;传感元件为探头式的,可弯曲缠绕,操控更加灵活,探头式传感器可被操控在任意位置进行传感,可实现对微流通道内的环境信息的定点测量。
(2)本发明提供的光纤微泡法珀传感器,利用光的力学效应,在单模光纤端面纤芯处,吸附碳纳米管,形成均匀的碳纳米管薄膜,依据碳纳米管薄膜的传热特性,光能转化为热能,在碳纳米管薄膜表面积聚,在液体环境中形成一个微气泡法珀腔,实现传感,该方法制作工艺简单,操作方便,大大降低了光纤探头的制作工艺,也降低了成本。

具体实施方式
下面结合实施例和附图对本发明作进一步的详细描述。但不应将此理解为本发明上述主题的范围仅限于以下的实施例,凡基于本发明内容所实现的技术均属于本发明的范围。
实施例1
本实施例中提供的光纤微泡法珀传感器的传感装置,其结构如图1所示,包括980nm激光器1、前段HI 1060单模光纤2、普通单模光纤11、光谱分析仪3、波分复用器4、位移台5、微流通道8及传感器9,传感器9是由后段HI 1060单模光纤、以及均匀沉积于单模光纤平端面纤芯处的碳纳米薄膜6构成。
其中,普通单模光纤11为中心波长是1550nm的单模光纤,光纤纤芯很细,纤芯直径一般为8至10um,包层直径125um,是常用的通信波段的单模光纤;
前段HI 1060单模光纤2和后段HI 1060单模光纤10为中心波长是980nm的单模光纤,纤芯直径为5.8um,包层直径125um,能传输一种模式的光纤,单模光纤模间色散小,总色散小,带宽宽。单模光纤可实现低损耗与小色散的光传输;
波分复用器4是980/1550波分复用器,980端用前段HI 1060单模光纤2连接980nm激光器1,1550nm端用普通单模光纤11连接光谱分析仪3,波分复用器4的单端熔接后段HI1060单模光纤10。
将各段光纤熔接,其中熔接具体操作方法为:首先制备光纤端面,将光纤涂覆层剥除,并对剥除光纤涂覆层的裸纤进行清洁,防止污染,切割裸纤,将切割好的两光纤平端面通过熔接机熔接,其中熔接机的结构及工作原理为所属领域的公知常识,不再赘述。
本实施例中激光器提供的光能在碳纳米管薄膜6上积聚热量,在液体环境中,产生微气泡7,形成法珀腔,实现传感。
上述传感装置的传感过程为:后段HI 1060单模光纤10固定在位移台5上,调节位移台5,使传感器9进入微流通道8内,并调节至传感位置,打开980nm激光器1,光能经前段HI1060单模光纤2传输进入波分复用器4至后段HI 1060激光器10,在微气泡法珀腔生成部9的碳纳米管薄膜6上产生热效应,形成微气泡7,利用光谱分析仪3分析反射信号的光谱信息,实现传感,位移台5的具体结构及其原理为所属领域的公知常识,不再赘述。
实施例2
本实施例在实施例1的基础上作进一步限定,所述传感器9为在切割平整的后段HI1060单模光纤端面纤芯处镀均匀的碳纳米管薄膜6,依据碳纳米管的热传导特性,在液体环境中生成微气泡7,即用于传感的光学谐振腔结构。现有技术探头式的光纤传感器大都采用在光纤端面进行微加工的方式,这些方法制作工艺复杂,难度大,本实施例中的传感元件制作简单,降低了光纤光操控方法的制作难度,缩短制备时间,降低了成本。
实施例3
本实施例还提供了一种基于光纤端面微气泡法珀腔传感器的制备方法,具体包括以下步骤:
步骤1):将包层直径为125um,纤芯直径为5.8um的后段HI 1060单模光纤10的端面切割平整,获得光纤平端面;
步骤2):将后段HI 1060单模光纤10竖直插入均匀的碳纳米管溶液中,固定;
步骤3):打开980nm激光器1,将功率调节至67.5mw,在该功率下,缓缓的将后段HI1060单模光纤10从碳纳米管溶液中竖直抽出,即完成一次在光纤平端面上镀碳纳米薄膜的操作;
步骤4):重复进行步骤3),对光纤平端面进行多次镀膜操作,得到传感器。
实施例4
本实施例还提供了光纤微泡法珀传感器的传感方法,具体包括以下步骤:
步骤a、将后段HI 1060单模光纤10固定在位移台5上;
步骤b、调节位移台5,使传感器9置于微流通道8内的操控位置处,通过进样泵15,采用注射器16将溶液以恒定流速注入微流通道8内;
步骤c、打开980nm激光器1,调节功率至P,接通光路,同时开始计时,传感器9开始形成微气泡7;
步骤d、t0时刻,读取光谱分析仪3的光谱信息,记录此时的自由光谱范围(FSR),通过光谱信息,可对微流通道内温度、流速信息进行传感。
其中如图2所示,微流通道8置于显微镜载物台12上,微气泡7生成的过程由光学显微系统实时监测,光学显微系统由显微镜13与计算机14连接组成,便于对传感位置进行观察,以保证将传感器9放置在需传感位置。
其中在静止的水溶液中,微气泡法珀腔t0时刻的自由光谱范围和微流通道内温度的曲线如图3所示,图3结果显示,在激光器功率为P的情况下,微气泡法珀腔在t0时刻自由光谱范围是随着温度的升高递减的。
其中在温度为25摄氏度的水溶液中,微气泡法珀腔t1时刻的自由光谱范围和微流通道内流速的曲线如图4所示,图4结果显示,在激光器功率为P的情况下,微气泡法珀腔在t1时刻自由光谱范围是随着流速的增加是递减的。

Claims (5)
1.光纤微泡法珀传感器,其特征在于,所述传感器由单模光纤,以及均匀沉积于单模光纤平端面纤芯处的碳纳米薄膜构成;将传感器浸没在微流体系中,激光器提供的光能,经单模光纤传输,从光纤平端面出射,照射在碳纳米薄膜上,在碳纳米管薄膜处形成微气泡法珀腔,通过测量单位时间生成的微气泡法珀腔的光谱信息,实现对微流体系环境因素的传感。
2.按权利要求1所述光纤微泡法珀传感器,其特征在于,所述碳纳米薄膜的厚度为1-3μm。
3.按权利要求1所述光纤微泡法珀传感器,其特征在于,所述单模光纤在980nm为单模传输。
4.按权利要求1所述光纤微泡法珀传感器的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
步骤1、将单模光纤的一个端面切割平整,获得光纤平端面;另一端连接激光器;
步骤2、将单模光纤平端面竖直插入均匀的碳纳米管溶液中,固定;
步骤3、打开激光器,接通光路,将单模光纤缓慢从碳纳米管溶液中竖直抽出,即完成一次在单模光纤平端面上镀碳纳米薄膜的操作;
