Abstract
The invention provides a paging method, P-CSCF, S-GW and a paging network system. The paging method comprises the steps that a first call connection request with a first call service type is received; according to a preset corresponding relationship between the call service type and a distribution/retaining priority ARP parameter, a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request is determined; and the first call connection request and the corresponding first ARP parameter are sent to a serve gateway node S-GW, so that S-GW sets the call priority for the first call connection request based on the first ARP parameter. According to the invention, the correspondence between different services and ARP parameters under the same bearer is preset; when a call is made, different ARP parameters can be configured according to different services; the priority of different services can be identified by ARP parameters, so that different services under the same bearer have different priorities; and different service types under the same bearer have different call policies.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of mobile communication, in particular to a paging method, a P-CSCF, an S-GW and a paging network system.
Background
In the existing EPC network, when a user is in an idle state, and a Serving Gateway node (S-GW) receives a downlink data packet or a message, the S-GW caches the data packet and the message, and then initiates the downlink data packet to a network control node (MME), triggering the MME to initiate a paging process. Wherein, the message received by the S-GW carries an Allocation/Retention Priority (ARP) parameter, the MME determines a paging policy according to the ARP parameter, and the ARP parameter is set as:
receiving the load ARP parameters of the downlink data packet, wherein if the downlink data packet is received in a plurality of loads, the ARP parameters have the highest priority;
if the received downlink message carries the ARP parameter, the ARP parameter is sent to the MME; or the received downlink message does not carry the ARP parameter, the ARP parameter stored in the S-GW uplink message is sent to the MME.
It can be seen that, currently, paging of an MME is only set according to bearer priorities of received downlink data packets, however, different paging priorities may be required for different services on one bearer, for example, for an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service, a quality of service Identifier (QCI, QoS Identifier) is 5, and an ARP parameter is set to 1, so that the paging policy of the MME is the same for whatever services, but an operator may need to have a higher paging priority for voice services and a lower paging priority for IMS-based short messages, and current technologies cannot differentiate priorities of different services on the same bearer.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention provides a paging method, a P-CSCF, an S-GW and a paging network system, which solve the problem that in the prior art, the paging strategies of different services on the same bearer are the same due to the fact that the priorities of the different services on the same bearer are distinguished.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a paging method, including:
receiving a first call connection request carrying a first call service type;
determining a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request according to a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and an ARP parameter of the allocation/retention priority; wherein, ARP parameter is used to mark service paging priority;
and sending the first call connection request and the corresponding first ARP parameter to a serving gateway node (S-GW) so that the S-GW sets a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter.
The first call connection request also comprises a quality of service class identifier (QCI) parameter of the first call service type.
According to still another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a paging method, including:
receiving a first call connection request and a corresponding first ARP parameter sent by a proxy call session control node (P-CSCF); the first call connection request carries a first call service type, and the first ARP parameter is determined by the P-CSCF according to the first call connection request and a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the ARP parameter;
setting a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter;
and sending the call priority of the first call connection request to a network control node (MME) so that the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the call priority.
Wherein, the first call connection request further includes a QCI parameter of the first call service type, and the paging method further includes:
determining the candidate call priority of the first call connection request according to the corresponding relation between the preset OCI parameter and the service paging priority;
adjusting the candidate priority according to the first ARP parameter;
the adjusted candidate priority is determined as the call priority of the first call connection request.
According to still another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a proxy call session control node P-CSCF including:
a first receiving module, configured to receive a first call connection request carrying a first call service type;
a first matching module, configured to determine a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request according to a correspondence between a preset call service type and an allocation/retention priority ARP parameter; wherein, ARP parameter is used to mark service paging priority;
and the first sending module is used for sending the first call connection request and the corresponding first ARP parameter to the service gateway node S-GW so that the S-GW sets the call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter.
The first call connection request also comprises a quality of service class identifier (QCI) parameter of the first call service type.
According to yet another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a serving gateway node, S-GW, comprising:
the second receiving module is used for receiving a first call connection request and a corresponding first ARP parameter sent by a proxy call session control node P-CSCF; the first call connection request carries a first call service type, and the first ARP parameter is determined by the P-CSCF according to the first call connection request and a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the ARP parameter;
a configuration module, configured to set a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter;
and a second sending module, configured to send the call priority of the first call connection request to a network control node MME, so that the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the call priority.
Wherein, the first call connection request further includes a QCI parameter of the first call service type, and the service gateway node further includes:
the second matching module is used for determining the candidate call priority of the first call connection request according to the corresponding relation between the preset OCI parameter and the service paging priority;
the adjusting module is used for adjusting the candidate priority according to the first ARP parameter;
a determining module, configured to determine the adjusted candidate priority as a call priority of the first call connection request.
According to still another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a paging network system including: a proxy call session control node P-CSCF and a serving gateway node S-GW as described above.
The embodiment of the invention has the beneficial effects that:
by presetting the corresponding relation between different services and ARP parameters under the same load, different ARP parameters can be configured according to different services when the call is called, and the priority of different services is identified by the ARP parameters, so that different services under the same load have different priorities, and different service types under the same load have different call strategies.

Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the invention can be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
Example one
The embodiment of the invention is applied to an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) network, and when a user is in an idle state, namely, the user is in a called state scene. The EPC network system comprises: evolved Node B (eNodeB), network control Node (MME), serving GateWay Node (S-GW), GateWay Node (P-GW, PDN GateWay way), and proxy Call Session control Node P-CSCF. As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a paging method, which is applied to a P-CSCF node, and specifically includes the following steps:
step 10: a first call connection request carrying a first call service type is received.
Wherein the first call connection request is sent by the calling party user; the first call connection request carries a corresponding call service type, for example: the calling party initiates a QQ voice call or a WeChat voice call to the called party.
Step 20: and determining a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request according to the preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the allocation/retention priority ARP parameter.
Here, the ARP parameter is used to identify the traffic paging priority. The corresponding relation between different call service types and ARP parameters is pre-configured in the P-CSCF node, for example: the ARP parameter corresponding to the QQ voice call service is 1, and the ARP parameter corresponding to the WeChat voice call service is 0, so that different services under the same load have different ARP parameters, and the first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call service type in the first call connection request can be determined according to the preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the ARP parameters. It is worth pointing out that the correspondence between different call service types and ARP parameters can be set according to the actual service requirements.
Step 30: and sending the first call connection request and the corresponding first ARP parameter to a service gateway node (S-GW).
Here, when the first call connection request is sent, the first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request is also sent to the S-GW node, so that the S-GW sets the call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter.
It is worth pointing out that the first call connection request further includes a quality of service class identifier QCI parameter of the first call service type. Here, the QCI parameter is applied to a service bearer, and is used to specify a control bearer level packet forwarding manner defined in the access node, and different priorities corresponding to different QCI parameter values are defined in the existing standard.
By presetting the corresponding relation between different services and ARP parameters under the same load, different ARP parameters can be configured according to different services when the call is called, and the priority of different services is identified by the ARP parameters, so that different services under the same load have different priorities, and different service types under the same load have different call strategies.
According to a further aspect of the first embodiment of the present invention, there is further provided a P-CSCF for proxy call session control node, as shown in fig. 2, the P-CSCF node specifically includes:
a first receiving module 101, configured to receive a first call connection request carrying a first call service type;
a first matching module 201, configured to determine a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request according to a correspondence between a preset call service type and an allocation/retention priority ARP parameter; wherein, ARP parameter is used to mark service paging priority;
a first sending module 301, configured to send the first call connection request and the corresponding first ARP parameter to the serving gateway node S-GW, so that the S-GW sets a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter.
The first call connection request also comprises a quality of service class identifier (QCI) parameter of the first call service type.
It should be noted that the P-CSCF node corresponds to the above-mentioned paging method, and all implementation manners in the above-mentioned embodiment of the paging method are applicable to the embodiment of the P-CSCF node, and the same technical effect can also be achieved.
Example two
The above introduces a specific implementation manner of the paging method of the called party from the P-CSCF node, and the following introduces the paging method from the S-GW node with reference to fig. 3, which specifically includes:
step 11: and receiving a first call connection request and a corresponding first ARP parameter sent by a proxy call session control node (P-CSCF).
The first call connection request carries a first call service type, and the first ARP parameter is determined by the P-CSCF according to the first call connection request and a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the ARP parameter. That is, the P-CSCF node does not directly send the first call connection request to the S-GW node, but after configuring the first ARP parameter according to the first call service type in the first call connection request, sends the first call connection request and also sends the first ARP parameter. The ARP parameter is used to identify the service paging priority.
Step 21: setting a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter.
The corresponding relation between the ARP parameter and the call priority is preset in the S-GW node, and a rule with higher call priority corresponding to higher ARP parameter value or other corresponding rules can be selected. For example as exemplified above: the ARP parameter corresponding to the QQ voice call service is 1, the ARP parameter corresponding to the WeChat voice call service is 0, and the corresponding rule is as follows: the higher the ARP parameter value is, the higher the corresponding call priority is, that is, when the called user has both QQ voice call service access and WeChat voice call service access, because the ARP parameter corresponding to QQ voice call service is high, that is, the priority of QQ voice call service is high.
Step 31: sending the call priority of the first call connection request to a network control node MME.
Here, the call priority of the first call connection request is sent to the MME, so that the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the call priority, thereby establishing a call connection with the called party. For example: when the called user has both access to the QQ voice call service and access to the WeChat voice call service, because the ARP parameter corresponding to the QQ voice call service is high, that is, the priority of the QQ voice call service is high, the MME will preferentially establish the call connection of the QQ voice call service according to the difference of the call priorities.
Wherein, the first call connection request further includes a QCI parameter of the first call service type, and the paging method further includes:
determining the candidate call priority of the first call connection request according to the corresponding relation between the preset OCI parameter and the service paging priority;
adjusting the candidate priority according to the first ARP parameter;
the adjusted candidate priority is determined as the call priority of the first call connection request.
Here, the QCI parameter for identifying the service type priority is already carried in the first call connection request, and the set values of the QCI parameters under the same bearer are the same, for example: the value of QCI parameter of IMS business is 5, the value of the corresponding priority is 1; the value of the QCI parameter of the voice service is 6, and the value of the corresponding priority is 6; this allows the different traffic bearers to be pre-ordered according to the value of the QCI parameter, for example: and if the first call connection request is the QQ voice call service in the voice service, the candidate priority of the first call connection request is obtained according to the voice service. However, the voice service includes various service types such as a QQ voice service or a WeChat voice service, and at this time, the priority of the QQ voice call service needs to be determined according to the correspondence between the ARP parameter and the sub-service types, so as to realize the final adjustment of the call priority of the first call connection request, so that the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the final adjusted call priority, and establishes a call connection with the called party.
By presetting the corresponding relation between different services and ARP parameters under the same load, different ARP parameters can be configured according to different services when the call is called, and the priority of different services is identified by the ARP parameters, so that different services under the same load have different priorities, and different service types under the same load have different call strategies.
According to still another aspect of the embodiments of the present invention, there is provided an S-GW, as shown in fig. 4, the S-GW specifically includes:
a second receiving module 111, configured to receive a first call connection request and a corresponding first ARP parameter sent by a proxy call session control node P-CSCF; the first call connection request carries a first call service type, and the first ARP parameter is determined by the P-CSCF according to the first call connection request and a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the ARP parameter;
a configuration module 211, configured to set a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter;
a second sending module 311, configured to send the call priority of the first call connection request to the network control node MME, so that the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the call priority.
Wherein, the first call connection request further includes a QCI parameter of the first call service type, and the service gateway node further includes:
the second matching module is used for determining the candidate call priority of the first call connection request according to the corresponding relation between the preset OCI parameter and the service paging priority;
the adjusting module is used for adjusting the candidate priority according to the first ARP parameter;
a determining module, configured to determine the adjusted candidate priority as a call priority of the first call connection request.
It should be noted that the S-GW node corresponds to the paging method, and all implementation manners in the embodiments of the paging method are applicable to the embodiments of the S-GW node, so that the same technical effect can be achieved.
EXAMPLE III
The paging method according to the embodiment of the present invention is described above from the side of the P-CSCF node and the S-GW node, and will be described from the aspect of the entire paging network system in conjunction with fig. 5. An embodiment of the present invention provides a paging network system, where the paging network system includes: a proxy call session control node P-CSCF and a serving gateway node S-GW as described above. In addition, the paging network system further includes: eNodeB, MME and P-GW. Wherein,
after receiving a first call connection request sent by a calling party, the P-CSCF determines a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request according to a preset corresponding relation between a call service type and the ARP parameter, and then sends the first ARP parameter to the P-GW.
And after receiving the first ARP parameter, the P-GW forwards the first ARP parameter to the S-GW.
And after receiving the first ARP parameter, the S-GW determines the call priority of the first call connection request according to the preset corresponding relation between the ARP parameter and the call priority, and encapsulates the call priority corresponding to the ARP into a downlink data packet corresponding to the first call connection request. And then sending the packed downlink data packet to the MME.
And after receiving the downlink data packet carrying the call priority, the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the call priority and establishes call connection with the called party through the eNodeB.
In summary, the present invention, by presetting the corresponding relationship between different services and ARP parameters under the same bearer, can configure different ARP parameters according to different services when being called, and identify the priorities of different services through the ARP parameters, so that different services under the same bearer have different priorities, thereby implementing different service types under the same bearer to have different calling policies.

Claims (9)
1. A method for paging, comprising:
receiving a first call connection request carrying a first call service type;
determining a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request according to a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and an ARP parameter of the allocation/retention priority; wherein, the ARP parameter is used for marking the service paging priority;
and sending the first call connection request and the corresponding first ARP parameter to a serving gateway node (S-GW) so that the S-GW sets a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter.
2. The paging method according to claim 1, characterized in that the quality of service class identity, QCI, parameter of the first call traffic type is also included in the first call connection request.
3. A method for paging, comprising:
receiving a first call connection request and a corresponding first ARP parameter sent by a proxy call session control node (P-CSCF); the first call connection request carries a first call service type, and the first ARP parameter is determined by the P-CSCF according to the first call connection request and a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the ARP parameter;
setting a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter;
and sending the call priority of the first call connection request to a network control node (MME) so that the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the call priority.
4. The paging method according to claim 3, wherein the first call connection request further includes QCI parameters of the first call traffic type, the paging method further comprising:
determining the candidate call priority of the first call connection request according to the corresponding relation between the preset OCI parameter and the service paging priority;
adjusting the candidate priority according to the first ARP parameter;
determining the adjusted candidate priority as the call priority of the first call connection request.
5. A proxy call session control node, P-CSCF, comprising:
a first receiving module, configured to receive a first call connection request carrying a first call service type;
a first matching module, configured to determine, according to a correspondence between a preset call service type and an allocation/retention priority ARP parameter, a first ARP parameter corresponding to the first call connection request; wherein, the ARP parameter is used for marking the service paging priority;
a first sending module, configured to send the first call connection request and the corresponding first ARP parameter to a serving gateway node S-GW, so that the S-GW sets a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter.
6. The P-CSCF of claim 5 wherein the quality of service class identity, QCI, parameter for the first call traffic type is further included in the first call connection request.
7. A serving gateway node, S-GW, comprising:
the second receiving module is used for receiving a first call connection request and a corresponding first ARP parameter sent by a proxy call session control node P-CSCF; the first call connection request carries a first call service type, and the first ARP parameter is determined by the P-CSCF according to the first call connection request and a preset corresponding relation between the call service type and the ARP parameter;
a configuration module, configured to set a call priority for the first call connection request according to the first ARP parameter;
a second sending module, configured to send the call priority of the first call connection request to a network control node MME, so that the MME responds to the first call connection request according to the call priority.
8. The S-GW of claim 7, wherein the first call connection request further includes QCI parameters for the first call traffic type, wherein the serving gateway node further comprises:
the second matching module is used for determining the candidate call priority of the first call connection request according to the preset corresponding relation between the OCI parameter and the service paging priority;
an adjusting module, configured to adjust the candidate priority according to the first ARP parameter;
a determining module, configured to determine the adjusted candidate priority as the call priority of the first call connection request.
9. A paging network system, characterized in that the paging network system comprises: a proxy Call Session control node, P-CSCF, according to any of claims 5 to 6 and a serving gateway node, S-GW, according to any of claims 7 to 8.
