Background
Currently, in a mobile communication network, a terminal can establish a call connection through two switching modes, including: a circuit switched mode and a packet switched mode, where for the circuit switched mode, it means that a call connection is established through a CS (circuit switched) domain, and in this implementation, the CS domain needs to allocate an exclusive channel resource to each terminal, so that the terminal establishes a call connection through the channel resource; in the Packet switching mode, the call connection is established through a PS (Packet Switch) domain, and in this implementation, different terminals may share the same channel resource, that is, in the same channel resource, different terminals may implement the call connection establishment through Packet transmission of data packets.
In the practical application process, in order to save channel resources, a terminal generally first selects to establish a call connection through a PS domain, that is, the terminal sends a call connection establishment request to an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) for implementing a voice service in an IP (Internet Protocol) network through the PS domain, when the call connection establishment fails due to factors such as cell capacity or usage density, the IMS returns a connection establishment failure message to the terminal through the PS domain, and after receiving the connection establishment failure message, the terminal establishes a call connection through a CS domain, that is, the terminal sends a call connection establishment request to a device in the CS domain responsible for establishing a call connection, so that the device in charge of establishing a call connection establishes channel resources for the terminal, and thus the terminal establishes a call connection through the established channel resources.

In step 101, in the process of establishing a call connection, when a call failure establishment message is received, a call redirection request is sent to a designated device, where the call redirection request carries at least terminal information, the designated device is a device in a circuit switching CS domain for establishing a call connection, and the terminal information is information of a terminal requesting to establish a call connection.
In step 102, receiving channel resource information sent by the specified device, where the channel resource information is established by the specified device for the terminal when the redirected call request is received.

In the embodiment of the present disclosure, in the process of establishing the call connection by the terminal, when the call connection establishment through the PS domain fails, sending a request for redirecting the call to a specified device for establishing the call connection in the CS domain by a management device (such as a Mobile Management Entity (MME) and the like) in the PS domain, so that the specified device allocates channel resources for the terminal, i.e., the specified device returns channel resource information, the management device transmits the channel resource information to the terminal, the terminal establishes the call connection through the channel resource indicated by the channel resource information, thereby avoiding the need that the terminal sends the call connection establishment request to the specified device in the CS domain again after receiving the connection establishment failure message, therefore, the call establishment delay is reduced, and in addition, the management equipment in the PS domain directly sends the call redirection request to the specified equipment in the CS domain, so that the signaling overhead between the terminal and the network can be reduced.

In another embodiment of the present disclosure, the specified device is a mobile switching center MSC.
All the above optional technical solutions can be combined arbitrarily to form optional embodiments of the present disclosure, and the embodiments of the present disclosure are not described in detail again.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for establishing a call connection according to an exemplary embodiment, where the method for establishing a call connection is implemented in a multi-party interactive manner in this embodiment as an example, and the method for establishing a call connection may include the following steps.
In step 201, the terminal sends a call establishment request message to the management device, where the call establishment request message carries terminal information, and the call establishment request message is used to instruct the terminal corresponding to the terminal information to establish a call connection.
At present, with the rapid development of mobile communication technology, an LTE network appears, and compared with a conventional network, the data transmission rate of the TLE network is significantly improved, so that the LTE network is also widely applied. However, since the LTE network is an all-IP network, that is, the LTE network only includes a PS domain and does not include a CS domain, in order to implement a voice call service based on the LTE network, an IMS is proposed in the field of communication technology, and the IMS implements an end-to-end voice call service based on the PS domain by using a VoLTE technology in cooperation with the LTE network, thereby implementing a high-quality voice call service.
In addition, compared with the call connection established through the CS domain, in the implementation process of establishing the call connection through the PS domain, it is not necessary to establish an exclusive channel resource for each terminal, that is, multiple terminals can share the same channel resource, so as to achieve the effect of saving the channel resource.
That is, the terminal sends a call setup request message to the management device in the PS domain, where the call setup request message carries terminal information. The management device may be at least capable of performing data communication with the CS domain and the IMS, for example, the management device may be an MME, and the terminal information may include a terminal identifier or a user telephone number, where the terminal identifier may be used to uniquely identify one terminal.
The IMS uses the VoLTE technology and cooperates with the LTE network to implement a specific implementation manner of an end-to-end voice call service based on a PS domain, which is referred to in the prior art and is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
In step 202, the management device receives the call setup request message and forwards the call setup request message to an IMS, where the IMS is at least used for establishing a call connection with the terminal.
And when receiving the call establishment request message, the management equipment forwards the call establishment request message to the IMS so as to realize the establishment of the voice call in the PS domain through the IMS.
In step 203, after receiving the call establishment request message, the IMS determines whether a call connection can be established at present, and sends a call establishment response message to the management device, where the call establishment response message includes a call establishment success message or a call establishment failure message.
After receiving the call establishment request message, the IMS determines whether a call connection can be established with the terminal according to conditions such as the current cell capacity and the usage density, and sends a call establishment response message to the management device after determining whether a call connection can be established with the terminal.
If it is determined that a call connection can be established with the terminal based on conditions such as current cell capacity and usage density, the IMS sends a call establishment success message to the management device, where the call establishment success message carries resource information used for establishing a call connection, for example, the resource information includes IP address information, port number, and the like used for establishing a bearer connection, and at this time, the management device sends the call establishment success message to the terminal, so that the terminal can establish a call connection based on the resource information, that is, the terminal can establish a call connection through a PS domain, and in this case, the subsequent steps 204 to 207 need not be executed. On the contrary, if it is determined that the call connection cannot be established with the terminal based on the conditions of the current cell capacity, the use density, and the like, the IMS sends a call establishment failure message to the management device, in which case, the subsequent steps 204 to 207 will need to be performed.
The specific implementation manner of the IMS determining whether the call connection with the terminal can be established according to the conditions of the current cell capacity, the use density, and the like may refer to the prior art, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In step 204, when receiving the call establishment failure message, the management device sends a call redirection request to a designated device, where the call redirection request at least carries terminal information, and the designated device is a device in the CS domain for establishing a call connection.
When the management device receives the message of failed call establishment, it indicates that the call connection cannot be established through the PS domain, that is, the terminal cannot establish the call connection based on the LTE network. In this case, in order to enable the terminal to still establish the voice call service, the management device sends a redirect call request to a specified device in the CS domain, that is, the management device requests the CS domain in the 2G or 3G network to establish the voice call instead of the terminal. In a possible implementation manner, the specific device is a mobile switching center MSC, and the MSC is at least used for establishing channel resources for establishing a call for the terminal.
Since an exclusive channel resource needs to be established for each terminal in the CS domain, the terminal information also needs to be carried in the redirect call request, so that the specified device in the CS domain allocates a unique channel resource to the terminal corresponding to the terminal information.
In addition, when receiving the call establishment failure message, the management device may further forward the call establishment failure message to the terminal while sending the call redirection request to the designated device, so as to notify the terminal of a call establishment failure, where the call establishment failure message is used to indicate that the terminal is switched to a ready-to-connect state in a circuit switched mode. Therefore, the terminal can be switched to the ready connection state in the circuit switching mode in advance after receiving the message of the call establishment failure, and the call establishment delay can be reduced.
For a specific implementation manner of switching the terminal to the ready-to-connect state in the circuit-switched mode, reference may be made to the prior art, which is not limited in this disclosure.
In step 205, the designated device establishes a channel resource for the terminal when receiving the redirecting call request, and sends channel resource information corresponding to the channel resource to the management device.
For a specific implementation process of the designated device for establishing the channel resource for the terminal, reference may be made to the prior art, which is not limited in this disclosure.
In step 206, the management device receives the channel resource information transmitted by the specified device and transmits the channel resource information to the terminal.
The sending, by the management device, the channel resource information to the terminal may include any one of the following possible implementations;
the first mode is as follows: the management device directly transmits the channel resource information to the terminal.
In this implementation, after receiving the channel resource information sent by the specified device, the management device does not need to process the channel resource information, but directly sends the channel resource information to the terminal, so that the processing time of the channel resource information is saved, and the delay for establishing a call connection is reduced in a phase-changing manner.
The second mode is as follows: and generating a signaling link release message based on the channel resource information, and sending the generated signaling link release message to the terminal.
In an actual application process, when the call connection establishment through the PS domain fails, in order to save link resources, in a normal case, the management device may release signaling link resources between the management device and the terminal, and therefore, in the second implementation manner, the management device may generate the signaling link release message based on the channel resource information, so that the terminal obtains the channel resource information from the signaling link release message after receiving the signaling link release message, and thus, signaling interaction may be reduced.
For a specific implementation manner of generating the signaling link release message based on the channel resource information, reference may be made to the prior art, which is not limited in this disclosure.
In step 207, after receiving the channel resource information, the terminal establishes a call connection through the channel resource indicated by the channel resource information.
And if the terminal is not switched to the ready connection state in the circuit switching mode currently, the terminal is switched to the ready connection state in the circuit switching mode from the current state, and the call connection is established through the channel resources indicated by the channel resource information. If the terminal has switched to the ready-to-access state in the circuit switching mode, the terminal directly establishes a call connection through the channel resource indicated by the channel resource information after receiving the channel resource information.
For a specific implementation manner of the terminal establishing the call connection through the channel resource indicated by the channel resource information, reference may be made to the prior art, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In addition, it should be noted that, in a possible implementation manner, when receiving the call setup failure message, the management device needs to redirect not only the voice call service to the CS domain but also the data service, for example, redirect the data service to the 3G network, and for this reason, when receiving the call setup failure message, the management device needs to send a connection request for redirecting data to the SGSN in the 3G network, where the connection request for redirecting data is used to instruct to setup data connection with the terminal, that is, after receiving the connection request for redirecting data, the SGSN allocates an IP address to the terminal and sends the IP address to the management device, and the management device sends the IP address to the terminal, so that the terminal redirects the data service to the 3G network, where a specific implementation principle of redirecting the data service to the 3G network by the terminal and a principle class of redirecting the voice call service to the CS domain by the terminal are described above Similarly, embodiments of the disclosure are not described in detail.
