Description

Method for eliminating paging sub-channel congestion and wireless network control equipment
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications technologies, and in particular, to a method for eliminating congestion of a paging subchannel and a radio network control device.
Background
In a TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access, third generation mobile communication standard proposed in china), an IU interface of an RNC (Radio network controller) receives a paging message from a core network, converts the paging message received by the IU interface into a message sent by an UU interface, and sends the message on all cells under the same LAC (Location Area Code, Location de-identification Code)/RAC (Routing Area Code, Routing de-identification Code) after ASN coding. In consideration of terminal power saving, the 3GPP protocol specifies that a TD-SCDMA terminal receives Paging messages by DRX (Discontinuous Reception), that is, only at a specific time, the terminal reads whether there is a Paging message belonging to the PICH (Paging Indicator Channel) or not, and if there is a Paging message belonging to the terminal, the terminal reads a Paging message belonging to the terminal on a specific Paging subchannel of a PCH (Paging Channel) paired with the PICH, and the specific subchannel is calculated by the terminal according to IMSI. The specific time when the terminal reads the PICH data is called paging transmission time, which is the starting point of the PICH frame, and the terminal calculates the specific time when the PICH channel information is to be read according to the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber identity) of the terminal and parameters in system broadcast, and reads the PICH message when the time arrives. The time when the terminal receives the paging message on a certain paging subchannel of the PCH is called the paging message reception time, and at this time, the paging message is sent by the UTRAN through the UU port in all cells included in the LAC/RAC where the terminal is located, and is received by the corresponding terminal.
In the TD-SCDMA system, the time when the general radio access network sends the paging message and the terminal listens to the paging message is calculated according to the IMSI, and during the actual number assignment process, the operator is convenient for management, for the situation that the number allocation of a concentrated area may exist in a large customer group, a great deal of paging congestion suddenly appears in the network under a certain RNC from a certain day, the user perception is influenced, the user complaints are generated, in addition, the paging congestion is concentrated in a certain part of paging sub-channels, since the paging reception times calculated by these IMSIs are concentrated in a certain part of the paging sub-channel, the number of paging messages exceeds the paging sub-channel capacity, then a part of paging messages can not be sent out through the UU port at the corresponding paging message receiving time, resulting in paging congestion, wasting RNC resources, moreover, when the paging volume of the IU interface is large, the stability of the RNC equipment can be affected even.

Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for eliminating congestion of a paging sub-channel according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, a method for eliminating congestion of a paging sub-channel according to an embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
s11, determining the quantity of paging messages to be dispatched and sent on the paging sub-channel according to the quantity of the paging messages received by the IU interface;
s12, acquiring the paging capacity of the paging sub-channel;
s13, when the quantity of the paging messages needing to be dispatched and sent on the paging sub-channel is larger than or equal to the paging capacity threshold value of the paging sub-channel, checking the paging reason of the paging messages needing to be dispatched and sent on the paging sub-channel;
wherein the paging capacity threshold is less than the paging capacity;
s14, according to the paging reason of each paging message, the paging message needing to be dispatched and sent is sent according to the preset paging priority order.
The PAGING reason can be obtained from PAGING message PAGING of IU interface, and the PAGING message sent by core network carries the PAGING reason.
In this step, when the number of paging messages to be sent is greater than or equal to the paging capacity threshold of the paging sub-channel, the number of paging messages is sorted according to the preset service type priority, so as to preferentially ensure the first paging sending of the CS service paging and other PS services.
The embodiment of the invention preferentially ensures the first paging of CS service paging and other services and discards the repeated paging of other services by analyzing the paging messages exceeding the paging capacity, thereby reducing the probability of RNC equipment load increase and stability reduction caused by large amount of paging messages in the equipment to a certain extent, effectively reducing the number of messages in the equipment and improving the stability of the equipment.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the manner of acquiring the paging capacity threshold includes:
determining a capacity adjustment coefficient according to the current load state of the equipment;
and taking the product of the paging capacity of the paging subchannel and the capacity adjustment coefficient as the paging capacity threshold of the paging subchannel.
In this step, the paging capacity threshold is obtained from a paging capacity percentage coefficient of the paging subchannel, the percentage coefficient is a capacity adjustment coefficient, and the capacity adjustment coefficient can be dynamically adjusted according to the RNC load. For example, when the number of pages falling on a paging subchannel reaches 90% of the paging capacity of the subchannel, the function of checking paging reasons and sending according to paging priority is started, and all the pages are not sent when the paging reasons do not exceed the paging priority, wherein:
the paging capacity threshold is the paging capacity x 90%.
It is understood that the maximum value of the paging capacity is the paging capacity of the paging subchannel.
In another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, the method for eliminating the congestion of the paging sub-channel further includes the following steps:
s15, when the number of paging messages needing to be dispatched and sent on the paging sub-channel is larger than the paging capacity of the paging sub-channel, counting the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) carried in the paging messages to obtain a statistical report;
and S16, reporting the statistical report to the core network equipment so that the core network equipment adjusts the paging interval of the paging message corresponding to the IMSI in the statistical report according to the statistical report.
In the embodiment of the invention, by calculating the paging capacity of a single paging subchannel, if the number of paging messages to be sent on the paging subchannel corresponding to a certain paging message receiving time in unit time (one paging week PBP) exceeds the paging subchannel capacity, the IMSI value in the paging message is counted and reported to a counting report table to be submitted to a network operator, and the network operator can adjust the IMSI paging interval according to the IMSI value. The paging subchannel congestion caused by unreasonable IMSI distribution is avoided, and the paging subchannel capacity judgment is carried out immediately after the paging message is received from the IU interface, so that a network operator can adjust the IMSI paging interval in time, the probability that the RNC equipment load is increased and the stability is reduced due to large and concentrated paging message amount in the equipment is reduced to a certain extent, and the paging channel congestion reduction method has positive effects on the purposes of reducing the paging channel congestion, reducing the equipment load and improving the equipment stability.
Further, before the paging message requiring scheduled transmission is transmitted according to the preset paging priority order in step S14, the method further includes the following steps:
according to the real-time requirement of the service type corresponding to each paging message, paging priority ordering is carried out on the paging messages so as to determine the paging priority order of each paging message in the paging messages needing to be dispatched and sent;
specifically, the priority order of the paging priority is as follows:
voice paging > first paging for services other than voice traffic > repeated paging for services other than voice traffic.
It should be noted that, according to different requirements of different types of services on real-time performance, in the embodiments of the present invention, paging is prioritized according to services according to reasons, as shown in fig. 3, the highest priority is important paging, such as voice paging, which is preferentially guaranteed for paging scheduling, the second priority is first paging of services other than voice services, the lower priority is unimportant paging, such as repeated paging of services other than voice services, and when it is determined that a certain paging subchannel is congested, it is preferred to discard paging messages with lower priorities.
Further, the method comprises the following steps not shown in the figures:
and discarding the paging message exceeding the paging capacity of the current paging subchannel, and recording the IMSI information corresponding to the discarded paging message.
Specifically, when the number of paging messages sent on the paging subchannel is close to the paging subchannel capacity threshold, the paging scheduling sending on the paging subchannel preferentially guarantees the paging of the voice service (switching) (including the paging of the voice service, such as first paging, second paging, and third paging) and the scheduling sending of the first paging of other services, wherein the paging of the voice service is firstly guaranteed, and the first paging of services other than the voice service is secondly guaranteed. On the premise of ensuring that voice service paging and other service first paging can be scheduled and transmitted, for other service paging, if a scheduling transmission opportunity can be obtained, the paging is transmitted, and for paging channels exceeding the capacity of a paging subchannel, the paging is discarded, and IMSI information of the discarded paging is recorded.
In the embodiment of the invention, if the capacity of the paging sub-channel is exceeded, the discarding processing is carried out, the paging message is prevented from being distributed to the DSP where all cells are located according to LAC/RAC, and then whether the paging channel is congested or not is judged, and the method reduces the number of messages in the equipment and improves the stability of the equipment.
Further, the determining, according to the number of paging messages received by the IU interface, the number of paging messages that need to be scheduled and sent on the paging sub-channel specifically includes the following steps that are not shown in the figure:
when a paging message sent by core network equipment is received, calculating the paging receiving time of the paging message and a corresponding paging sub-channel according to the IMSI carried in the paging message;
and counting the number of the paging messages received by the paging sub-channel at the paging receiving time.
It can be understood that the working mechanism of the RNC is such that the IU interface receives the paging messages sent by the MSC/SGSN, calculates on which paging sub-channel each paging message should be sent according to the IMSI, notifies the UE of the presence of the paging message to be sent through the PICH channel at the paging sending time when the next paging cycle arrives, then sends out the paging at the paging receiving time, and the terminal receives the paging at the paging receiving time, thereby implementing discontinuous reception of the paging message by the terminal.
In practical application, an IU interface of an RNC receives a Paging Message sent by an MSC or an SGSN, calculates Paging Occasion (Paging interference) and Paging Message reception Occasion (Paging Message Receiving interference), the RNC sends paged terminal information on a PICH channel at the Paging Occasion, the terminal reads data sent by the PICH at the Paging Occasion, judges whether a corresponding position is 0 or not according to bitmap indication after reception, and reads the PICH channel again when waiting for the next Paging Occasion, if 1, it indicates that there is a Paging Message belonging to the PCH channel, the terminal calculates the Paging Message reception Occasion, and reads the Paging data from the PCH channel at the Paging Message reception Occasion. UTRAN and terminal use the same formula and parameter to calculate the paging time and paging message receiving time, thus ensuring the consistency of the message sending time of network side and the message receiving time of terminal, the paging time and the paging message receiving time are calculated by the following formula:
Paging Occasion={(IMSI div K)mod(DRX cycle length div PBP)}*PBP+n*DRX cycle length+Frame Offset
Paging Message Receiving Occasion=Paging Occasion+NPICH+NGAP+{(DRXIndex mod Np)mod NPCH}*2
the parameters are as follows:
IMSI: the international mobile subscriber identity is an identifier for distinguishing mobile subscribers and is stored in the SIM card.
K: the number of the configured SCCPCH channels is configured to 1 by each manufacturer of the current network according to the requirement of an operator
DRX cycle length: discontinuous reception cycle length, typical value of the current network is configured to be 64 (unit is frame, and frame of TD-SCDMA system is 10ms)
n is the number of the discontinuous reception cycle length, takes values of 0, 1, 2 and 3 …, and paging is sent in DRX. (for example, if DRX is 128(0 to 127), the first paging transmission time is 100, the second paging transmission time is 100+ DRX length 128, the third paging transmission time is 100+2 × DRX length 128 …, and so on);
PBP (packing Block periodicity): the paging block period, like the DRX cycle length, is 64 frames.
NPICH: the number of consecutive frames occupied by the PICH channel is identified.
NPCHThe number of paging sub-channels contained in the PCH is identified, and the configuration of each manufacturer of the current network is configured according to the maximum value of 8.
NGAP: indicating the number of frames between the end of the PICH block and the beginning of the PCH block.
Np: each PICH Block contains the number of paging indicators, one radio subframe carries 352 bits of data, and one paging indicator has a length of 8, so that Np is 352/8 or 44.
Frame Offset: indicating the frame offset for load balancing. For common channels, Frame Offset is always specified to be zero.
RNC sends paging indication message and paging message in PICH and PCH channels respectively by taking paging indication Block (PICH Block) and paging Block (PCH Block) as unit, one paging indication Block occupies 2 × N in time domainPICHOne radio frame and one paging block occupy 2 × N in time domainPCHA radio frame, NPCHIs the number of paging subchannels contained in the paging block, so that one paging subchannel occupies 2 radio frames in the time domain.
The paging subchannel number is calculated by (DRX Index mod Np) mod NPCH, and the TS25.304 protocol specifies the formula for DRXINdex as follows:
DRX Index=IMSI div 8192
for example, the following steps are carried out: assuming an IMSI of 460027670433352, then (DRX Index mod Np) mod NPCHCalculating by the formula:
((460027670433352/8192) mod 44) mod 8) ═ 4, then the paging message for the UE corresponding to this IMSI is sent on paging subchannel 4 of the PCH channel.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the high-level signaling of the RNC receives the paging message of the IU interface, the receiving time of the paging message and the sent paging sub-channel are immediately calculated, the number of the paging messages received by the paging sub-channel at the paging receiving time is counted, whether the corresponding paging sub-channel has paging congestion is judged instead of judging when the corresponding paging sub-channel cannot be dispatched and sent, the message interaction in the RNC is effectively reduced, and the system stability is improved.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the method for eliminating the congestion of the paging sub-channel further includes the following steps not shown in the figure:
when a paging message sent by core network equipment is received, whether the current paging message belongs to the first paging is judged.
Further, the determining whether the current paging message belongs to the first paging, as shown in fig. 4, specifically includes the following steps:
s21, obtaining IMSI and paging reason carried in current paging message;
s22, searching whether the IMSI carried in the current paging message is recorded in a preset paging table, wherein the IMSI and the paging reason carried in the paging message sent by each user last time are recorded in the paging table;
each unit in the paging table corresponds to one user UE, and each unit comprises information such as IMSI, TMSI/P-TMSI, paging reason and the like.
When the IMSI carried in the current paging message does not exist in the paging table, executing step S23, and when the IMSI carried in the current paging message is recorded in the paging table, executing step S24;
s23, judging that the current paging message belongs to the first paging, and adding the IMSI and the paging reason carried in the current paging message into the paging table;
s24, judging whether the paging reason carried in the current paging message is the same as the paging reason recorded in the paging list;
if yes, go to step S25, otherwise go to step S26;
s25, judging that the current paging message does not belong to the first paging, and discarding the current paging message;
s26, judging the current paging message belongs to the first paging, eliminating the paging reason recorded in the paging list, and adding the paging reason carried in the current paging message into the paging list.
Further, after the adding the IMSI and the paging cause carried in the current paging message to the paging table, the method further includes the following steps:
s27, judging whether a paging response message sent by the terminal is received within the preset paging retransmission timing time;
if yes, go to step S28, otherwise go to step S29;
s28, determining that the paging is successful, and clearing the IMSI and the paging reason carried in the current paging message recorded in the paging table;
and S29, when the preset paging retransmission timing time is reached, clearing the IMSI and the paging reason carried in the current paging message recorded in the paging table.
In this embodiment, the procedure of determining whether to page for the first time or page repeatedly may be determined according to the combination of the IMSI, the TMSI/P-TMSI (Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity) and the core network paging retransmission cycle. The paging retransmission cycle of the core network may be determined by the core network configuration or the RNC, and the specific method is not described in detail herein.
Specifically, the step of determining repeated paging is as follows:
after receiving the IU interface paging message, the RNC searches whether the paging table exists or not according to the IMSI information. If not, the paging is considered to be sent for the first time, the IMSI, the TMSI/P-TMSI and the paging reason information are stored in a paging table, and a paging retransmission timer is started;
if yes, then the paging is sent before, then whether the paging reason is the same as the previous time or not is judged, if yes, the repeated paging is considered to be discarded, otherwise, the paging is considered to be sent for the first time, the IMSI, the TMSI/P-TMSI and the paging reason information are stored in a paging table, and a paging retransmission timer is started.
If the paging response message carried in the initial direct transfer message initial direct sent by the terminal is received within the timing time of the paging retransmission timer (namely the Service type field in the initial direct transfer message is pagengresponse), the paging is considered to be successful, the timer is stopped, and the IMSI, TMSI/P-TMSI and paging reason information recorded in the paging table are cleared.
If the corresponding paging response message (PaginResponse) is not received before the paging retransmission timer is overtime, the IMSI, the TMSI/P-TMSI and the paging reason information are cleared from the paging table.
It should be noted that the paging retransmission timer is set slightly longer than the paging retransmission timer of the core network, but must be smaller than the total duration of 2 times of retransmission paging of the core network, so as to ensure that the paging retransmission timer of the core network is overtime before the time of the paging retransmission timer is overtime. Otherwise, the timer of the RNC is overtime firstly to clear the UE information of the corresponding paging table, and the core network retransmits paging after the paging retransmission timer is overtime, and the paging table of the RNC is mistaken for the first paging because the corresponding UE information cannot be found.
The invention avoids the paging sub-channel congestion caused by unreasonable IMSI distribution, effectively reduces the equipment load and improves the equipment stability.
