The application relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a communication package suspension method and device based on a maritime satellite user.
Background
With the successful launch of Inmarsat satellites, maritime satellites are gaining increasing acceptance with their unique capabilities and coverage capabilities. Existing maritime communication is basically realized through maritime satellites, and due to the fact that communication cost of the maritime satellites is high, many users transact 'packages' to enjoy relatively low communication cost, for example, transact packages for 1 year, the users can enjoy high communication cost discount, transact packages for 1 month, communication cost discount enjoyed by the users is not high, and therefore most of the users transact packages for a long time to enjoy high communication cost discount.
However, regardless of the time duration of the package, a certain basic fee for the package is paid, that is, regardless of whether the user uses the satellite communication during the time duration, a certain basic fee is paid to keep the package in a usable state. For some application scenarios, such as fishing boat users, the users purchase packages for 1 year, and while the fishing boat can enjoy the convenience of maritime satellite communication at sea during the fishing season, the fishing boat rarely goes out of the sea during the fishing season, but also needs to pay for the maintenance cost of the packages.

Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a method for suspending a marine satellite-based user communication package in an embodiment of the present application, where a package suspension request is sent to separately charge a marine satellite communication data flow, so as to solve the problem of high package maintenance cost, and at the same time, the marine satellite communication can be continued, so as to ensure the safety of a fishing boat during a fishery break, where the method specifically includes:
And step 102, if the request meets the communication package suspension condition, suspending the charging of the communication package, and charging the communication data of the user terminal by adopting a standard rate.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the request for suspending the marine satellite communication package includes at least user information, information of the communication package, and a suspension time of the communication package.
The user information comprises a user name for finding out the contact way of the user, and the user can be informed of the contact way after the communication package is suspended successfully; the information of the communication package further includes a number (or name) of the communication package for matching to the corresponding communication package; the pause time is a time for pausing the communication package set by the user, for example, during a fishing break period, the owner of the fishing vessel may want to pause the communication package for 3 months in preparation for the arrival of the fishing break period, and the validity of the communication package is maintained at a low cost during the 3 months.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the communication package suspension condition includes that a communication package suspension time is below a threshold value.
Wherein the threshold value is the allowed communication package pause time.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the charging of the communication data of the user terminal with the standard rate includes calculating a flow rate or a duration of the communication data of the user terminal, and multiplying the flow rate or the duration by the standard rate to obtain a charging result of the communication of the user terminal.
For example, a fishing boat can still be used for work at rest, but the sea time is short relative to the time of the rest, and if the maritime satellite billing system (Inmarsat) stops serving the satellite communication terminal on the fishing boat when the communication package is suspended, the fishing boat cannot communicate with a land or marine vessel after the sea, so that the suspension of the communication package in the invention does not stop the satellite communication service, and only reduces the cost for maintaining a high-volume communication package when the vessel does not use the satellite communication frequently.
As an embodiment of the present invention, if the request meets the communication package suspension condition, the method further includes calculating an actual communication package cost (FEE) according to the request:
FEE=RENT*USED/CYCLE+RENT*SUSPEND/CYCLE*DISCOUNT
wherein RENT is communication package fee, USED is actual using time, CYCLE is communication package CYCLE time, SUSPEND is pause time, and DISCOUNT is pause period rate.
As an embodiment of the present invention, said suspending charging of the communication package further comprises extending the communication package in accordance with the request.
And if the time of the communication package is delayed backwards according to the pause time in the request, for example, the communication package time is 6 months, and the pause time at the 3 rd month is 30 days, the communication package time after delay is 6 months +30 days, and the communication data is charged within 30 days from the 3 rd month without enjoying the rate of the communication package.
By the embodiment of the method, the communication package can be flexibly adjusted by a ship user, the maintenance cost of the communication package in the fishing season and the ship maintenance process is reduced, the satellite communication function of the ship cannot be cut off, and the safety of the ship going to the sea and sailing in the time of suspending the communication package is ensured.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a maritime satellite-based user communication package suspension apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which a device for implementing the method shown in fig. 1 is described, where the device may be a computer, a computer cluster, or a single chip or a chip with data processing capability, and the device may be run in a computer or a platform with data processing capability, and the device specifically includes:
a receiving unit 201, configured to receive a request that a user terminal suspends a maritime satellite communication package;

As an embodiment of the present invention, the request for suspending the marine satellite communication package specifically includes user information, information of the communication package, and a suspension time of the communication package.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the charging unit is further configured to charge the communication data of the user terminal with a standard rate, where the charging includes calculating a flow rate or a duration of the communication data of the user terminal, and multiplying the flow rate or the duration by the standard rate to obtain a charging result of the communication of the user terminal.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the charging unit is further configured to calculate an actual communication package cost (FEE) according to the request:
FEE=RENT*USED/CYCLE+RENT*SUSPEND/CYCLE*DISCOUNT
wherein RENT is communication package fee, USED is actual using time, CYCLE is communication package CYCLE time, SUSPEND is pause time, and DISCOUNT is pause period rate.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the charging unit is further configured to extend the communication package according to the request.
By the embodiment of the device, the communication package can be flexibly adjusted by a ship, the maintenance cost of the communication package in the fishing season and the ship maintenance process is reduced, the satellite communication function of the ship cannot be cut off, and the safety of the ship going to the sea and sailing in the time of suspending the communication package is ensured.
Fig. 3 is a specific flowchart of a maritime satellite user communication package suspension method according to an embodiment of the present invention, where a processing procedure in a maritime satellite communication billing server (Inmarsat) in a communication package suspension by a user is described in this diagram, and the method specifically includes:
in step 301, a user terminal sends a request to suspend a communication package.
In this step, the user terminal may include a satellite phone, a notebook computer, or a mobile phone connected to the satellite access device through the relay device and capable of communicating with the maritime satellite through the satellite access device.
The request to pause a communication package may include a user name, a device name, a package number requesting a pause, and a pause time requesting a pause of the package.
In this step, the user terminal sends the request to the maritime satellite billing server through the satellite access device and the maritime satellite, and the maritime satellite billing server stores information of the communication packages, that is, information of various communication packages, including, for example, billing rate, free traffic, communication package name, time length, and the like of the communication packages, and authentication login information such as user names of all users, so as to be able to confirm the communication package information related to the user according to the user login information.
In this step, the maritime satellite billing server parses the information such as the user name, the communication package name, the pause time and the like from the request.
In this step, the communication package ordered by the user and the used time, for example, 45 days, are found by the user name, and the information of the corresponding communication package is found by the communication package name, which may include the time length of the communication package, for example, 6 months of the communication package, the cost of the communication package, and the rate during suspension. The charge rate during the pause period may include a plurality of charge rates, which need to be determined according to the length of the pause period.
In this embodiment, the communication package suspension condition may be an allowed suspension threshold, for example 50 days,
In this step, the pause time in the request may be 30 days, the pause condition is a pause threshold value of 50 days, and it is determined whether the pause time exceeds the threshold value, in this example, the threshold value is not found, and step 306 is entered, otherwise, step 305 is entered.
In step 304, if the pause time in the request exceeds the threshold, the pause time is not allowed, that is, the request for pausing the communication package is rejected, and corresponding information is fed back to the user terminal.
In this step, the billing of the communication package is suspended from the date of requesting the suspension of the communication package, that is, the charge rate flag position of the communication package is first set to be in an unavailable state, for example, the charge rate of the communication package is 0.5, that is, if the billing of the communication data in the range of the communication package is 50% of the standard billing, the flag position of the charge rate is set to be 0, that is, the charge rate is no longer used to bill the communication data of the user terminal, at this time, the user terminal can also communicate through the maritime communication satellite, and the flow rate or the time of the communication data is recorded in the maritime satellite billing server.
The maritime satellite charging server is provided with a table for recording users, communication packages, communication flow or time length and a plurality of charging standards (rates), each charging standard is provided with a corresponding zone bit to indicate which rate is adopted for charging currently, when the zone bit is in an available state, the corresponding charging standard is activated, the communication flow or the time length of the user terminal is charged by adopting the rate, and when the zone bit is in an unavailable state, the corresponding charging standard is invalid. In addition, charging with different rates can be performed according to the length or the duration of the tentative time, for example, the pause time is 30 days, the corresponding rate is 0.8, the pause time is 50 days, the corresponding rate is 0.9, the standard rate is 1, and 0.8, 0.9, and 1 above are all examples.
And 307, prolonging the communication package time according to the pause time.
In this step, the pause time is 30 days, the communication package is 6 months long (assuming 180 days), and the extended communication package extends over 210 days, but the communication package is not available at a rate of 45-75 days.
At step 308, the communications are charged for the time-out period at a standard rate.
In this step, the standard rate flag position in the communication package suspension time period is set to 1, that is, the communication package is in an available state, and at this time, the maritime satellite billing server multiplies the recorded communication flow or duration of the user terminal by the standard rate to perform billing, wherein the standard rate is a value different from the communication package rate.
In this step, the communication package maintenance charge during the suspension period may be calculated by RENT SUSPEND/CYCLE DISCOUNT, where RENT is the communication package charge, CYCLE is the communication package CYCLE time, SUSPEND is the suspension time, and DISCOUNT is the suspension period rate.
The user terminal actual communication package cost (FEE) can be calculated:
FEE=RENT*USED/CYCLE+RENT*SUSPEND/CYCLE*DISCOUNT
wherein RENT is communication package fee, USED is actual using time, CYCLE is communication package CYCLE time, SUSPEND is pause time, and DISCOUNT is pause period rate.
And step 310, counting the total cost of the user terminal and sending the total cost to the user terminal.
In this step, the used communication package cost, the communication cost in the suspension time period, and the communication package maintenance cost in the suspension time period are counted and sent to the user terminal as the real-time total cost of the user terminal.
By the method and the device in the embodiment of the application, the communication package can be flexibly adjusted by the ship, maintenance cost of the communication package in the fishing season and the ship maintenance process is reduced, the satellite communication function of the ship cannot be cut off, and the safety of sea going navigation of the ship in the time of suspending the communication package is ensured.
The controller may be implemented in any suitable manner, for example, the controller may take the form of, for example, a microprocessor or processor and a computer-readable medium storing computer-readable program code (e.g., software or firmware) executable by the (micro) processor, logic gates, switches, an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a programmable logic controller, and an embedded microcontroller, examples of which include, but are not limited to, the following microcontrollers: ARC 625D, Atmel AT91SAM, Microchip PIC18F26K20, and Silicone Labs C8051F320, the memory controller may also be implemented as part of the control logic for the memory.
The systems, devices, modules or units illustrated in the above embodiments may be implemented by a computer chip or an entity, or by a product with certain functions.
