At present, oil-immersed transformers are widely used in power systems in China, and gas protection is one of effective technical measures for ensuring safe and stable operation of the oil-immersed transformers. The method is to add a rapid identification device which acts along with the action of the gas relay, and judge the action condition of the gas relay through the deflection of the rapid identification device, so as to analyze whether the gas relay has internal faults or is caused by misoperation of a secondary circuit and a protection device. The quick gas relay action recognition device comprises a reset button 1, a mechanism bracket 2, an indication connecting rod 3, a protective cover 4 and a baffle 7; the reset button 1 is arranged at the upper part of the mechanism bracket 2, the lower end of the reset button is connected with a reset connecting rod 5, a spring 11 is sleeved on the reset connecting rod 5, and the spring passes through a positioning hole on a reset connecting rod positioning plate 6 to be contacted with the upper surface of the tail end of the indication connecting rod 3; the inner side of the tail end of the indicating connecting rod 3 is contacted with the baffle 7, and the baffle 7 can move forwards and backwards; the outer U-shaped protection cover 4 is arranged at the tail end of the indication connecting rod 3, and the protection cover 4 is fixed on the side edge of the lower part of the mechanism bracket 2 through screws. The upper part of the mechanism bracket 2 is also provided with a test reset button 8, the lower end of the test reset button is connected with a test reset connecting rod 9, the test reset connecting rod 9 is sleeved with a spring 11, and the spring passes through a positioning hole on a test reset connecting rod positioning plate 10 to be contacted with the surface of the baffle 7, which is bent at one side of the upper part; the test reset connecting rod positioning plate 10 is welded on the mechanism bracket 2; the device is a rapid action recognition device applicable to a QJ-80 relay.

The function of the protective cover 4 is to protect the indicating link 3 from deformation due to strong air flow and oil flow; the mechanism support 2 supports the whole device and prevents the device from deforming and dislocating.
