The waterproof performance is divided into 8 grades of IPX1-IPX8 according to the standard, and when the product is a single whole and has no requirement of interaction or communication with the outside, the waterproof function is easy to realize. However, when the structure like a microphone appears in the product, the waterproof performance of more than 7 levels is still a difficulty in the industry. In the existing electronic product, the waterproof function of the microphone can be realized by the way that the part body is waterproof and the waterproof breathable film is added on the shell of the product.
The microphone with the waterproof body has the advantages of limited internal space, higher cost and more function limitation. In comparison, waterproofing of the microphone site by means of a waterproof, breathable membrane is an advantageous option.
