Description
技术领域
本发明属于有机显示控制技术领域,具体地说,尤其涉及一种用于驱动AMOLED像素的电路。
背景技术
如图1所示为现有技术中一种基本的AMOLED(Active-matrix organic lightemitting diode,有源矩阵有机发光二极体)显示器像素驱动电路结构示意图。该驱动电路为2T1C结构,其中,T1为开关晶体管,T2为驱动晶体管,Cst为存储电容,OLED为有机发光二极管。在扫描线G输出扫描信号,晶体管T1打开时,灰阶数据信号Vdata经过T1向存储电容Cst充电。当存储电容Cst充电至预定值时,晶体管T2打开,驱动信号ELVDD通过T2点亮有机发光二极管OLED。
该AMOLED显示器关机后,源极驱动芯片输出的数据电压Vdata自然放电过程慢,影响A点放电速度。并且,关机时扫描驱动芯片无法保证持续的有效开启电压,导致在A点数据电压Vdata电压完全放电之前T1关闭,阻断了A点电压的放电路径,进一步影响A点放电过程,导致出现关机残影。
发明内容
为解决以上问题,本发明提供了一种用于驱动AMOLED像素的电路,可以减轻甚至消除AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题。
根据本发明的一个实施例,提供了一种用于驱动AMOLED像素的电路,包括:
第一晶体管,其源极连接数据线,栅极连接扫描线;
第二晶体管,其栅极连接第一晶体管的漏极,源极连接驱动信号线,漏极连接OLED;
灰阶存储电容,其一端连接第一晶体管的漏极,另一端连接第二晶体管的漏极,用于存储灰阶电压,
其中,在数据线输入端和扫描线输入端之间设置有连接通路,在外加控制信号和所述电路各部分电压的预定关闭顺序下,解决AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述连接通路包括旁接于每一条数据线和扫描线上的一晶体管,其中,
连接通路上所有晶体管的栅极并联输入第一外加控制信号;
数据线旁接的晶体管的源极连接对应的数据线,漏极连接地;
扫描线旁接的晶体管的源极输入第二外加控制信号,漏极连接对应的扫描线。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述电路还包括一电压比较器,用于根据关机时伽马电压和数据驱动电压产生所述第一外加控制信号。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述第二外加控制信号为扫描信号高电压。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述伽马电压为一组伽马电压中大于数据驱动电压的任一伽马电压值。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述伽马电压为一组伽马电压中的最大伽马电压值。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述电路还包括关机时序控制器,用于控制所述电路各部分电压按照预定顺序关闭。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述关机时序控制器按照以下顺序关闭各电压:伽马电压、芯片工作电压、扫描信号高电压、扫描信号低电压和数据驱动电压。
根据本发明的一个实施例,旁接于每一条数据线上的晶体管集成设置于源极驱动芯片中,旁接于每一条扫描线上的晶体管集成设置于栅极驱动芯片中。

本发明的有益效果:
本发明通过在数据线输入端和扫描线输入端之间设置连接通路,可以减轻甚至消除AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题。并且,还可以将连接通路设置于源极及栅极驱动芯片中,不影响像素开口率,设计简单,容易实现。

以下将结合附图及实施例来详细说明本发明的实施方式,借此对本发明如何应用技术手段来解决技术问题,并达成技术效果的实现过程能充分理解并据以实施。需要说明的是,只要不构成冲突,本发明中的各个实施例以及各实施例中的各个特征可以相互结合,所形成的技术方案均在本发明的保护范围之内。
为解决AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题,本发明提供了一种用于驱动AMOLED像素的电路,如图2所示为根据本发明的一个实施例的AMOLED像素的驱动电路结构示意图,以下参考图2来对本发明进行详细说明。
通常情况下,在AMOLED驱动系统中,为保护源极及栅极等驱动芯片,常会对各部分电压的开启和关闭顺序作严格要求。为实现本发明解决的显示器关机残影问题,在本发明的像素驱动电路中设置有关机电压时序控制器,用以控制关机时驱动电路各部分的电压关闭顺序。具体的,将AMOLED显示器的各部分电源关闭顺序由先至后设置为:Vgamma->AVDD->VGH->VGL->DVDD,如图3所示。其中,Vgamma表示伽马电压,伽马电压为显示器参数,AVDD表示芯片工作电压,VGH表示扫描信号高电压(输出扫描信号时的扫描线电压),VGL表示扫描信号低电压(不输出扫描信号时的扫描线电压),DVDD表示数据驱动电压。并且,为有利于实现对显示器关机残影的控制,在本发明中,在本发明中,Vgamma可以设置为一组伽马电压中大于DVDD的任一伽马电压值。这是因为需要伽马电压和DVDD的大小关系作为判断是否关机的临界点,不能选择等于或小于DVDD的伽马电压值,否则无法实现临界值判断。优选的,Vgamma可以选择一组伽马电压中的最大伽马电压值,此处标记为Vgamma1,本发明以Vgamma1为例进行说明。
本发明的一种用于驱动AMOLED像素的电路包括第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2和灰阶存储电容Cst。其中,第一晶体管T1的源极连接数据线,栅极连接扫描线;第二晶体管T2的栅极连接第一晶体管T1的漏极,源极连接驱动信号线ELVDD,漏极连接OLED;灰阶存储电容Cst的一端连接第一晶体管T1的漏极,另一端连接第二晶体管T2的漏极,用于存储灰阶电压。并且,在数据线输入端和扫描线输入端之间设置有连接通路,在外加控制信号和电路各部分电压的预定关闭顺序下,可以解决AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题。其中,第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2和灰阶存储电容Cst的连接关系与图1相同。
如图2所示,在本发明中,通过在数据线和扫描线之间设置连接通路,在外加控制信号和电路各部分电压的预定关闭顺序下,通过该连接通路可以将第一晶体管T1和第二晶体管T2连接处(即灰阶存储电容Cst)残存的电荷释放掉,从而解决AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题。
在本发明的一个实施例中,该连接通路包括旁接于每一条数据线和扫描线上的一晶体管,其中,连接通路上所有晶体管的栅极并联输入第一外加控制信号;数据线旁接的晶体管的源极连接对应的数据线,漏极连接地;扫描线旁接的晶体管的源极输入第二外加控制信号,漏极连接对应的扫描线。具体的,如图2所示,连接通路上所有晶体管的栅极并联,扫描线旁接的晶体管的源极输入第二外加控制信号,该第二外加控制信号为扫描信号高电压VGH。通过该连接通路,可以在显示器关机时,将残存在灰阶存储电容Cst中的电荷导入数据线旁接的晶体管的漏极,进而将多余电荷导入大地。
在本发明的一个实施例中,该电路还包括一电压比较器,用于根据伽马电压和数据驱动电压产生第一外加控制信号。具体的,如图2所示,电压比较器以数据驱动电压DVDD作为工作电压,其根据伽马电压和数据驱动电压大小关系输出高电平信号或低电平信号,该高电平信号作为第一外加控制信号。该第一外加控制信号可以打开旁接于每一条数据线和扫描线上的晶体管,第二外加控制信号通过旁接于每一条扫描线上的晶体管打开对应的第一晶体管T1,从而将第一晶体管T1和第二晶体管T2连接处残存的电荷导入大地。
在本发明的一个实施例中,该第二外加控制信号为扫描信号高电压VGH。该第二外加控制信号可以通过旁接于每一条扫描线上的晶体管打开对应的第一晶体管T1。
在本发明的一个实施例中,旁接于每一条数据线上的晶体管集成设置于源极驱动芯片中,旁接于每一条扫描线上的晶体管集成设置于栅极驱动芯片中。具体的,如图2所示,可以将旁接于每一条数据线上的晶体管集成设置于源极驱动芯片中,形成一个新的源极驱动芯片;可以将旁接于每一条扫描线上的晶体管集成设置于栅极驱动芯片中,形成一个新的栅极驱动芯片。
在本发明的一个实施例中,电压比较器集成设置于源极驱动芯片或栅极驱动芯片。具体的,如图2所示,将电压比较器集成设置在了源极驱动芯片中。
在该电路工作时,具体包括自然放电阶段和强制放电阶段两个过程。具体的,自然放电阶段对应图3中的t0-t1时间段,此时显示器处于刚关机阶段,t0表示开始关机动作,t1表示Vgamma1下降到DVDD时间点。在t0-t1时间段,Vgamma1仍大于DVDD,电路内部工作情况与关机前相同。此时,电压比较器输出为低电平L,旁接于每一条数据线和扫描线上的晶体管均保持关闭,源极驱动芯片和栅极驱动芯片处于普通工作模式,电路各晶体管的工作情况如图4a所示,图4b为图4a对应的等效电路图。此时,由于控制信号缺失,栅极驱动芯片输出的电压浮动,源极驱动芯片的输出电压开始自然放电。
强制放电阶段对应图3的t1-t2时间段,t2时间点表示VGH下降为零。在t1-t2时间段,Vgamma1小于DVDD,进入关机残影消除过程。此时,电压比较器输出为高电平H,连通通路中的晶体管全部打开,所有的扫描线输出VGH信号,使第一晶体管T1保持打开,电路各晶体管的工作情况如图5a所示,图5b为图5a对应的等效电路图。同时,强制所有第一晶体管T1对应的源极输出信号变为GND信号,保证第一晶体管T1和第二晶体管T2连接处的像素电压获得放电路径。通过关机时序控制器对各电压关闭时间的调整,增大t1和t2的时间间隔,可以延长关机残影消除阶段的作用时间,优化残影消除效果。
本发明通过在数据线输入端和扫描线输入端之间设置连接通路,可以减轻甚至消除AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题。并且,还可以将连接通路设置于源极及栅极驱动芯片中,不影响像素开口率,设计简单,容易实现。
虽然本发明所公开的实施方式如上,但所述的内容只是为了便于理解本发明而采用的实施方式,并非用以限定本发明。任何本发明所属技术领域内的技术人员,在不脱离本发明所公开的精神和范围的前提下,可以在实施的形式上及细节上作任何的修改与变化,但本发明的专利保护范围,仍须以所附的权利要求书所界定的范围为准。
Claims (5)
1.一种用于驱动AMOLED像素的电路,包括:
第一晶体管,其源极连接数据线,栅极连接扫描线;
第二晶体管,其栅极连接第一晶体管的漏极,源极连接驱动信号线,漏极连接OLED;
灰阶存储电容,其一端连接第一晶体管的漏极,另一端连接第二晶体管的漏极,用于存储灰阶电压,
其中,在数据线输入端和扫描线输入端之间设置有连接通路,在外加控制信号和所述电路各部分电压的预定关闭顺序下,解决AMOLED显示器的关机残影问题,
所述连接通路包括旁接于每一条数据线和扫描线上的一晶体管,其中,
连接通路上所有晶体管的栅极并联输入第一外加控制信号;
数据线旁接的晶体管的源极连接对应的数据线,漏极连接地;
扫描线旁接的晶体管的源极输入第二外加控制信号,漏极连接对应的扫描线,
所述电路还包括一电压比较器,用于根据关机时伽马电压和数据驱动电压产生所述第一外加控制信号,
所述伽马电压为一组伽马电压中大于数据驱动电压的任一伽马电压值,
所述电路还包括关机时序控制器,用于控制所述电路各部分电压按照预定顺序关闭,
所述关机时序控制器按照以下顺序关闭各电压:伽马电压、芯片工作电压、扫描信号高电压、扫描信号低电压和数据驱动电压。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电路,其特征在于,所述第二外加控制信号为扫描信号高电压。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电路,其特征在于,所述伽马电压为一组伽马电压中的最大伽马电压值。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电路,其特征在于,旁接于每一条数据线上的晶体管集成设置于源极驱动芯片中,旁接于每一条扫描线上的晶体管集成设置于栅极驱动芯片中。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电路,其特征在于,所述电压比较器集成设置于源极驱动芯片或栅极驱动芯片中。
