Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of oil and gas storage and transportation, and particularly relates to a primary sealing device for a floating roof storage tank and an installation method thereof.
Background
The floating plate edge seal is one of the most important devices for controlling oil gas volatilization of a large crude oil storage tank, and the volatilization loss of oil products can be greatly reduced after the seal is used. The floating disc edge seal mainly comprises two parts: primary sealing and secondary sealing. The primary seal is installed inside the annular space between the float and the tank wall, usually in direct contact with the oil. In order to further reduce the evaporation loss of oil products, a set of sealing device is added on the original primary seal, namely secondary seal.
Primary seals are mainly classified into three types according to the structure: mechanical seals, flexible elastomeric seals, and tubular liquid-filled seals.
The mechanical seal has a complicated internal structure, and may discharge electricity in case of lightning strike, resulting in fire and explosion accidents at the edge seal. And for the storage tank with the seriously deformed tank wall, when the device cannot meet the sealing requirement, a certain gap is formed between the sealing boot plate and the tank wall, so that oil gas volatilization is caused, and a discharge gap is easily formed when the storage tank is struck by lightning. The elastic soft seal has the advantages of simple structure, no metal parts inside (no gap discharge during lightning stroke), good adaptability to the deformation of the tank wall and the like. The existing elastic foam plastic sealing generally adopts an immersion installation mode, the phenomena of aging of a rubber bag and insufficient elasticity of filling sponge can occur after long-time use, a larger oil-gas space exists between the upper part of the sealing and an oil-gas diaphragm of the secondary sealing, and the storage tank still has the possibility of ignition and explosion when being struck by lightning. The utility model with publication number CN 204250669U discloses a continuous conjoined closed sealing structure without oil-gas space of floating-roof storage tank floating plate, which provides a novel foam plastic sealing device, changes the original primary sealed rubber belt into T-shaped structure, forms a new closed annular space between one side and the secondary sealed oil-gas diaphragm, and adds soft elastic sponge inside; although the structure makes up the defect of large oil-gas space in the immersion type mounting foam plastic sealing structure, the structure still cannot well seal an overlarge edge gap of a storage tank with a seriously deformed tank wall. The invention patent application with publication number CN 104355004A discloses a sealing device between a floating plate and a tank wall of an external floating roof tank and a mounting method thereof, the invention patent application provides a method for optimizing a foam plastic sealing device, which is similar to the former, but the structure uses a new rubber belt of a mating type, and does not use a T-shaped rubber belt; the invention is used for optimizing the in-service foam plastic sealing structure and can be replaced with oil. The utility model discloses a utility model patent that publication number is CN 204078521U discloses a floating roof oil tank primary seal device, and this utility model patent discloses a novel primary seal device, and its essence is that one set of initiative fire extinguishing systems is adorned on liquid-filled tubular seal device upper portion, when sealing device high temperature or naked light appear, initiatively put out a fire. The above technologies can not well meet the requirement of the edge sealing of the floating plate, and have the defects of sealing gaps, oil and gas spaces in the edge gaps, lightning stroke discharge points in the sealing structure and the like.

(3) mounting a rubber base plate 8 on one side of the lower end of a support plate 10 close to an edge plate of a floating disc 12, and connecting the lower end of a support rod 10 with a fixed plate through a connecting shaft 9 on the other side of the support plate 10; the fixing plate 7 is centered on the connecting shaft 9 and can be turned over up and down, so that the fixing plate 7 can be kept in a state of being parallel to the tank wall 1 at any time in the using process;
(4) the upper end of the rubber wrapping tape 2 and the lower end of the upper sealing rubber tape 16 are jointly installed at the upper end of the fixing plate 7, and the lower end of the lower sealing rubber tape 4 and the lower end of the rubber wrapping tape 2 are jointly installed at the lower end of the fixing plate 7;
(5) mounting a support 11 on the top of an edge plate of a floating disc 12, then putting the assembled components into a gap at the edge of the floating disc 12, and mounting the upper end of a support rod 10 and a torsion spring 13 on the support 11 together by using a connecting shaft 9;
(6) the upper end of the upper sealing rubber band 16 and the upper end of the lower sealing rubber band 4 are fitted with the holder 11.
The general working principle of the primary sealing device for the floating roof storage tank is as follows:
when the edge gap of the floating disc 12 is not changed, the whole sealing device is under the action of the elastic force of the sponge 3 and the torsion force of the torsion spring 13, so that the sealing device is always in a fit state with the tank wall 1.
When the edge clearance of the floating disc 12 becomes smaller, the supporting rod 10 is supported by the rubber base plate 8 and is always in a vertical state, but the sponge 3 can be compressed and deformed after being stressed, and the whole sealing device can be tightly attached to the tank wall 1.
As shown in fig. 9, when the gap between the edge of the floating plate 12 increases, the compressive force between the sealing device and the tank wall 1 decreases, and at this time, the support rod 10 is sprung up by the force of the torsion spring 13, so that the rubber packing tape 2 is constantly kept in close contact with the tank wall 1. And the greater the change in the gap, the greater the angle of rotation of the support pole 10.
After the supporting rod 10 is bounced, the fixing plate 7 and the supporting rod 10 are connected through the connecting shaft 9, so that the fixing plate 7 can always keep a parallel state with the tank wall 1 no matter how large the rotation angle of the supporting rod 10 is.
In the process of rotation of the support rod 10, the lower sealing rubber belt 4 can fluctuate along with the lifting of the fixing plate 7, but no matter which state the lower sealing rubber belt 4 is in, the lower sealing rubber belt 4 can be always attached to the liquid level, so that the purpose of preventing oil gas from volatilizing is achieved.
The design of the existing seal is designed according to the change of the edge clearance of the floating disc 12 to +/-100 mm, namely the variable range of the seal is required to be R (-X/+ X). However, when the edge clearance changes greatly, the current sealing structure cannot well seal the floating disc, so that the sealing is not tight, and particularly, more elastic sponge soft sealing structures are used.
However, by using the primary sealing device provided by the invention, particularly on an outer floating roof storage tank, the primary sealing device has the advantage of large elastic change for the storage tank with seriously deformed tank wall, and the deformation can meet the requirement of clearance change R (-X/+ 3X); and this sealing device uses the rubber tape to keep apart the inside part of structure with external world, makes inside unable oil gas space that produces to the possibility that the emergence takes place the sealing washer fire incident inside seal structure has effectively been avoided.
In addition, a rain baffle 14 and a secondary sealing oil-gas diaphragm 15 are arranged above the primary seal of the invention.
It should be understood, however, that the description herein of specific embodiments is not intended to limit the invention to the particular forms disclosed, but on the contrary, the intention is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
