Abstract

本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示模组及液晶显示器,涉及显示技术领域,提供一种新型的实现不同灰阶的显示方式。该液晶显示模组包括对盒的第一基板和第二基板、以及设置在所述第一基板和所述第二基板之间的液晶层;所述第一基板或所述第二基板包括多个电极组,每个所述电极组包括多个相互绝缘的电极;其中,在所述液晶显示面板的每个亚像素区域设置一个所述电极组;所述液晶显示模组还包括设置在所述第一基板上的第一偏光片,所述第一偏光片用于将平行光转换为平行偏振光;其中,所述第一基板靠近入光侧设置。用于实现不同灰阶显示。

Description

一种液晶显示模组及液晶显示器
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种液晶显示模组及液晶显示器。
背景技术
随着显示技术的日益成熟,各种显示器也逐渐发展起来。目前,液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,简称LCD)由于具有功耗小、微型化、轻薄等优点而得到越来越广泛的应用。
现有的液晶显示器包括两片吸收轴垂直的偏光片及位于上下两个偏光片之间的液晶显示面板。其灰阶显示原理为:下偏光片将自然光转换为线偏振光,通过电压控制液晶的偏转状态,将线偏振光转换为椭圆偏振光,上偏振光对其检偏,从而可以实现不同的灰阶显示。
发明内容
本发明的实施例提供一种液晶显示模组及液晶显示器,提供一种新型的实现不同灰阶的显示方式。
为达到上述目的,本发明的实施例采用如下技术方案:
一方面,提供一种液晶显示模组,包括对盒的第一基板和第二基板、以及设置在所述第一基板和所述第二基板之间的液晶层;所述第一基板或所述第二基板包括多个电极组,每个所述电极组包括多个相互绝缘的电极;其中,在所述液晶显示面板的每个亚像素区域设置一个所述电极组;所述第一基板或所述第二基板还包括面状的公共电极;所述液晶显示模组还包括设置在所述第一基板上的第一偏光片,所述第一偏光片用于将平行光转换为平行偏振光;其中,所述第一基板靠近入光侧设置。
可选的,所述电极组包括多个条状电极。
可选的,所述电极组包括阵列排布的多个电极。
优选的,上述液晶显示模组还包括设置在第二基板的远离液晶层一侧的第二偏光片;所述第二偏光片的吸收轴与第一偏光片的吸收轴平行。
可选的,上述液晶显示模组还包括彩色膜层。
可选的,上述液晶显示模组还包括分光膜层。
另一方面,还提供一种液晶显示器,包括上述的液晶显示模组和背光源;所述背光源用于发出平行光。
优选的,还包括摄像头和控制器;所述摄像头用于追踪人眼位置;所述控制器用于控制所述背光源发出的光经液晶层折射后射向所述摄像头追踪到的人眼位置。
本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示模组及液晶显示器,由于每个亚像素区域均设置有一个电极组,且每个电极组中包括多个相互绝缘的电极,因此可通过控制电极组中电极的电压,来控制每个亚像素区域的液晶的偏转角度,而使得液晶分子的等效折射率发生变化,从而可以控制平行偏振光的发散角度。其中,当电极组中的所有电极的电压相同时,液晶的偏转角度相同,即液晶分子的折射率相同,平行偏振光便会向同一个方向折射,平行偏振光的发散角度较小,此时空间内的光线的能量密度较大,针对人眼观看位置可以实现高阶显示;当电极组中的所有的电极的电压不完全相同时,液晶的偏转角度不完全相同,即液晶分子的折射率不同,因而平行偏振光便向不同方向折射,平行偏振光的发散角度较大,此时空间内的光线的能量密度减小,针对人眼观看位置可以实现低阶显示。基于此,根据液晶显示模组的需要,通过控制每个亚像素区域实现高阶显示或低阶显示,便可以使液晶显示模组实现不同的灰阶显示。

下面将结合本发明实施例中的附图,对本发明实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述,显然,所描述的实施例仅仅是本发明一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。基于本发明中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有做出创造性劳动前提下所获得的所有其他实施例,都属于本发明保护的范围。
除非另作定义,本申请使用的技术术语或者科学术语应当为本领域技术人员所理解的通常意义。本发明专利申请说明书以及权利要求书中使用的“第一”、“第二”以及类似的词语并不表示任何顺序、数量或者重要性,而只是用来区分不同的组成部分。
本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示模组,如图1和图2所示,包括对盒的第一基板10和第二基板20、以及设置在第一基板10和第二基板20之间的液晶层30。
第一基板10或第二基板20包括多个电极组50,每个电极组50包括多个相互绝缘的电极501;其中,在液晶显示面板的每个亚像素区域设置一个电极组50;第一基板10或第二基板20还包括面状的公共电极60。
液晶显示模组还包括设置在第一基板10上的第一偏光片40,第一偏光片40用于将平行光转换为平行偏振光;其中,第一基板10靠近入光侧设置。
为了能够驱动液晶发生偏转,公共电极60和上述的电极组50可以设置在不同的基板上,也可以设置在相同的基板上。例如,电极组50设置在第一基板10上,公共电极60设置在第二基板20上;或者,电极组50设置在第二基板20上,公共电极60设置在第一基板10上;当然也可以是,公共电极60和电极组50同时设置在第一基板10或第二基板20上。本发明实施例以电极组50设置在第一基板10上,公共电极60设置在第二基板20上为例进行示意。
本发明实施例提供的液晶显示模组实现不同灰阶显示的原理为:如图2所示,在公共电极60的电压相同的情况下,通过控制每个亚像素区域电极组50中电极501的电压发生变化,便可以控制每个亚像素区域的液晶的偏转状态发生变化,即,使每个亚像素区域的液晶分子的等效折射率发生变化,来控制平行偏振光的发散角度,以控制空间内的光线的能量密度,从而实现高、低阶显示。
此处,由于本发明实施例设置有第一偏光片40,当平行光经过第一偏光片40后,即可形成单方向的偏振光,根据液晶长轴或短轴对单方向偏振光的折射即可计算出每个亚像素区域液晶分子的等效折射率。
基于上述描述,本发明实施例中,控制液晶的偏转状态,便可以对平行偏振光进行同一方向或不同方向的折射,此时液晶的作用与棱镜相同,因而每个亚像素区域的液晶实际上可等效形成棱镜。
其中,通过控制一个电极组50中电极501的电压,便可以使液晶等效形成多种形态的棱镜,例如形成图3(a)所示的直角棱镜或图3(b)或3(c)所示的不规则棱镜。
具体的,当控制亚像素区域的电极组50的电极501的电压,使该区域的液晶等效形成一个棱镜时,平行偏振光便会向同一个方向折射,从而可以实现高阶显示;当控制亚像素区域的一个电极组50的电极501的电压,使该区域的液晶等效形成多个棱镜时,平行偏振光便会向不同方向折射,从而可以实现低阶显示。
示例的,如图3(a)所示,针对任一亚像素区域,可以根据显示灰阶的需要,通过控制电极组50中电极501的电压,控制液晶的偏转状态,等效形成一个棱镜到多个棱镜的多种转换(图3(a)中以等效形成一个棱镜、两个棱镜、三个棱镜为例进行示意)。其中,随着亚像素区域中等效形成的棱镜个数的增多,从液晶显示模组出射光的发散角逐渐增大,光能量从密到疏逐渐变化,从而实现高灰阶显示到低灰阶显示的变化。
当然,还可以通过控制等效形成的棱镜的形态来实现不同灰阶的显示。
示例的,如图3(b)或图3(c)所示,针对任一亚像素区域,可以根据显示灰阶的需要,通过控制电极组50中电极501的电压,控制液晶的偏转状态,等效形成一个斜边的棱镜到包含多个斜边的异型棱镜的多种转换,以使从液晶显示模组出射光的发散角逐渐增大,光能量从密到疏逐渐变化,从而实现高灰阶显示到低灰阶显示的变化。
此处,控制电极组50中电极501的电压形成的等效棱镜并不限于图3(b)或图3(c)所示的形状,还可以是其它的任意形状。
需要说明的是,第一,对于每个电极组50中电极501的个数应根据每个亚像素区域的大小及电极501的大小进行合理设置。
其中,电极组50中每个电极501的电压均可以单独控制,具体可根据亚像素灰阶显示的要求,控制电极组50中各电极501的电压。
对于电极组50中电极501的形状不进行限定。
第二,所述平行光可以是垂直于第一基板10或第二基板20的平行光;当然也可以是不垂直于第一基板10或第二基板20的平行光。
第三,第一偏光片40可以设置在第一基板10远离液晶层30的一侧,也可以设置在第一基板10靠近液晶层30的一层(本发明实施例的附图中以第一偏光片40设置在第一基板10远离液晶层30的一侧为例进行示意)。
本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示模组,由于每个亚像素区域均设置有一个电极组50,每个电极组50中包括多个相互绝缘的电极501,因此可通过控制电极组50中电极501的电压,来控制每个亚像素区域的液晶的偏转角度,而使得液晶分子的等效折射率发生变化,从而可以控制平行偏振光的发散角度。其中,当电极组50中的所有电极501的电压相同时,液晶的偏转角度相同,即液晶分子的折射率相同,平行偏振光便会向同一个方向折射,平行偏振光的发散角度较小,此时空间内的光线的能量密度较大,针对人眼观看位置可以实现高阶显示;当电极组50中的所有的电极501的电压不完全相同时,液晶的偏转角度不完全相同,即液晶分子的折射率不同,因而平行偏振光便向不同方向折射,平行偏振光的发散角度较大,此时空间内的光线的能量密度减小,针对人眼观看位置可以实现低阶显示。基于此,根据液晶显示模组的需要,通过控制每个亚像素区域实现高阶显示或低阶显示,便可以使液晶显示模组实现不同的灰阶显示。
可选的,如图4(a)和图4(b)所示,电极组50包括多个条状电极。
其中,对于条状电极,例如可以是如图4(a)所示的连续的条状电极501,也可以是如图4(b)所示的不连续的条状电极501。
可选的,如图4(b)、图5(a)和图5(b)所示,电极组50包括阵列排布的多个电极501。
其中,对于阵列排布的多个电极501的形状,例如可以是如图4(b)所示的条状阵列;也可以是如图5(a)所示的方形阵列;或者是如图5(b)所示的圆形阵列。
优选的,如图6所示,上述液晶显示模组,还包括设置在第二基板20的远离液晶层30一侧的第二偏光片70;其中,第二偏光片70的吸收轴与第一偏光片40的吸收轴平行。
本发明实施例,在第二基板20的远离液晶层30一侧设置第二偏光片70,可以去除从液晶显示模组出射的光的杂波,从而提高显示质量。
可选的,如图7(a)-图7(d)所示,液晶显示模组还包括彩色膜层80。
其中,对于彩色膜层80的设置位置,以能使液晶显示模组实现彩色显示为准。例如,彩色膜层80可以如图7(a)所示设置在第一基板10或第二基板20靠近液晶层30的一侧(图7(a)以设置在第二基板20靠近液晶层30的一侧为例进行示意);也可以是如图7(b)所示设置在第二基板20远离液晶层30的一侧;当然也可以是如图7(c)所示设置在第一基板10和第一偏光片40之间;或者是如图7(d)所示设置在第一偏光片40远离液晶层30的一侧;当液晶显示模组还包括第二偏光片70时,彩色膜层80还可以设置在第二基板20和第二偏光片70之间。
本发明实施例,在液晶显示模组中设置彩色膜层80可以实现彩色显示。
可选的,液晶显示模组还包括分光膜层。
其中,分光膜层可将经过分光膜层的白光分成不同颜色的光,从而实现彩色显示。分光膜层的设置位置具体可以参考上述彩色膜层的设置位置,此处不再赘述。
本发明实施例,在液晶显示模组中设置分光膜层可以实现彩色显示。
本发明实施例还提供一种液晶显示器,如图8所示,包括上述的液晶显示模组和背光源90。其中,背光源90用于发出平行光。
其中,对于背光源90发出的平行光的方向不进行限定,例如可以发出与第一基板10或第二基板20垂直的平行光,也可以发出不与第一基板10或第二基板20垂直的平行光。
本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示器,由于液晶显示器的每个亚像素区域均设置有一个电极组50,且每个电极组50中包括多个相互绝缘的电极501,因此可通过控制电极组50中电极501的电压,来控制每个亚像素区域的液晶的偏转角度,从而控制平行偏振光通过液晶层30后的发散角度,以使得空间内的光线能量密度发生变化,这样就可以控制每个亚像素实现高阶显示或低价显示,进而使液晶显示器实现不同的灰阶显示。
优选的,上述液晶显示器还包括摄像头和控制器;摄像头用于追踪人眼位置;控制器用于控制背光源90发出的光经液晶层30折射后射向摄像头追踪到的人眼位置。
本发明实施例由于设置有摄像头和控制器,通过摄像头追踪到人眼位置后,可以通过控制器控制背光源90发出的光经液晶层30折射后射向摄像头追踪到的人眼位置,这样可以确保人在液晶显示器的任意位置均可以实现不同的灰阶显示。
以上所述,仅为本发明的具体实施方式,但本发明的保护范围并不局限于此,任何熟悉本技术领域的技术人员在本发明揭露的技术范围内,可轻易想到变化或替换,都应涵盖在本发明的保护范围之内。因此,本发明的保护范围应以所述权利要求的保护范围为准。

Claims (8)

1.一种液晶显示模组,包括对盒的第一基板和第二基板、以及设置在所述第一基板和所述第二基板之间的液晶层;其特征在于,
所述第一基板或所述第二基板包括多个电极组,每个所述电极组包括多个相互绝缘的电极,所述电极组中每个电极的电压均可以单独控制;其中,在所述液晶显示面板的每个亚像素区域设置一个所述电极组;
所述第一基板或所述第二基板还包括面状的公共电极,所述公共电极和所述电极组设置在同一基板上;
所述液晶显示模组还包括设置在所述第一基板上的第一偏光片,所述第一偏光片用于将平行光转换为平行偏振光;其中,所述第一基板靠近入光侧设置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示模组,其特征在于,所述电极组包括多个条状电极。
3.根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示模组,其特征在于,所述电极组包括阵列排布的多个电极。
4.根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示模组,其特征在于,还包括设置在第二基板的远离液晶层一侧的第二偏光片;
所述第二偏光片的吸收轴与第一偏光片的吸收轴平行。
5.根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示模组,其特征在于,还包括彩色膜层。
6.根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示模组,其特征在于,还包括分光膜层。
7.一种液晶显示器,包括权利要求1-6任一项所述的液晶显示模组和背光源;所述背光源用于发出平行光。
8.根据权利要求7所述的液晶显示器,其特征在于,还包括摄像头和控制器;
所述摄像头用于追踪人眼位置;
所述控制器用于控制所述背光源发出的光经液晶层折射后射向所述摄像头追踪到的人眼位置。
