背景技术
在显示技术领域中,液晶显示面板以其体积小、功耗低、无辐射、分辨率高等优点,被广泛地应用于现代数字信息化设备中。
相比于其它显示模式(PDP,OLED等),薄膜场效应晶体管(Thin Film Transistor,TFT)液晶显示屏(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)为被动发光模式,采用白光发光二极管(LED)作为光源,导致产品的色域低,颜色失真。
提升TFT LCD产品的色域,可以提升彩膜厚度和采用更高色域的LED,但是当产品色域提升后,背光亮度会降低,彩膜透过率也会降低,导致面板功耗提升。
目前背光采用量子点技术,可以有效提升背光色域,采用蓝光激发出绿色和红色,通过粒子种类和半径的控制,可以控制绿光和红光的波峰强度,当绿光和红光波峰越强时,色域提升越明显,但也会导致亮度变低和背光变黄。相比于量子点,量子棒拥有偏振态,量子棒的结构如图1所示。
当量子棒的排列方向平行于偏光片透过轴方向时,采用量子棒薄膜的背光色域高,而当量子棒的排列方向垂直于偏光片透过轴方向时,背光色域低,两种排列方向的发射谱图如图2所示。
现有的量子棒技术,将量子棒排列方向与下偏光片透过轴方向设置为平行,可以有效提升产品的色域,但是当产品色域提升后会导致面板整体偏黄,而且亮度下降严重。
发明内容
本申请实施例提供了一种背光模组、显示装置、照明设备,用以通过在量子棒薄膜上面增加液晶盒,通过控制液晶盒的电极电压,控制液晶的偏振态,使背光通过偏光片后的光谱呈现高色域状态和高亮度状态等多种状态,实现背光光谱的动态控制,扩展背光模组的应用领域。
本申请实施例提供的一种背光模组,包括:导光板、在所述导光板之上设置的发光二极管LED、在所述LED之上设置的光学膜片、在所述光学膜片之上设置的拥有偏振态的材料薄膜、在所述材料薄膜之上设置的液晶盒,以及在所述液晶盒之上设置的偏光片,其中,该液晶盒包括上、下电极以及设置在所述上、下电极之间的液晶,所述液晶在所述上、下电极之间的电压的控制下使得光的偏振态发生改变。
通过该背光模组,在拥有偏振态的材料薄膜上面增加液晶盒,通过控制液晶盒的电极电压,控制液晶的偏振态,使背光通过偏光片后的光谱呈现高色域状态和高亮度状态等多种状态,实现背光光谱的动态控制,使得该背光模组可以应用到图像显示方面以及照明领域等,从而扩展了应用领域。
可选地,所述拥有偏振态的材料薄膜,为量子棒材料薄膜。
可选地,所述LED为蓝光LED,所述量子棒材料薄膜为含有红色和/或绿色量子棒材料的聚合物薄膜。
可选地,所述液晶盒为扭曲向列型TN盒或平面转换IPS盒或边缘场开关FFS盒。
可选地,所述液晶盒还包括设置在所述上电极之上的上玻璃,以及设置在所述下电极之下的下玻璃,并且所述上玻璃的配向方向与所述下玻璃的配向方向垂直。
可选地,还包括:用于控制所述上、下电极之间的电压的控制装置。
本申请实施例提供的一种显示装置,包括本申请实施例提供的所述的背光模组。
可选地,所述偏光片为下偏光片,所述液晶盒为第一液晶盒,所述显示装置还包括设置在所述下偏光片之上的用于显示画面的第二液晶盒,以及设置在所述第二液晶盒之上的上偏光片。
可选地,所述显示装置为薄膜场效应晶体管液晶显示屏。
本申请实施例提供的一种照明设备,包括本申请实施例提供的所述的背光模组。

具体实施方式
本申请实施例提供了一种背光模组、显示装置、照明设备,用以通过在量子棒薄膜上面增加液晶盒,通过控制液晶盒的电极电压,控制液晶的偏振态,使背光通过偏光片后的光谱呈现高色域状态和高亮度状态等多种状态,实现背光光谱的动态控制,扩展背光模组的应用领域。
参见图3,本申请实施例提供的一种背光模组,包括:导光板01、在所述导光板之上设置的发光二极管LED 02、在所述LED之上设置的光学膜片03、在所述光学膜片之上设置的拥有偏振态的材料薄膜04、在所述材料薄膜之上设置的液晶盒05,以及在所述液晶盒之上设置的偏光片06,其中,该液晶盒包括上、下电极以及设置在所述上、下电极之间的液晶,所述液晶在所述上、下电极之间的电压的控制下使得光的偏振态发生改变。其中,为了与显示面板中的用于画面显示的液晶盒相区分,所述液晶盒05,以下可以称为背光液晶盒或第一液晶盒。
通过该背光模组,在拥有偏振态的材料薄膜上面增加液晶盒,通过控制液晶盒的电极电压,控制液晶的偏振态,使背光通过偏光片后的光谱呈现高色域状态和高亮度状态等多种状态,实现背光光谱的动态控制,使得该背光模组可以应用到图像显示方面以及照明领域等,从而扩展了应用领域。
可选地,所述拥有偏振态的材料薄膜,为量子棒材料薄膜。
可选地,所述LED为蓝光LED,所述量子棒材料薄膜为含有红色和/或绿色量子棒材料的聚合物薄膜。
可选地,所述背光液晶盒为扭曲向列型(Twisted Nematic,TN)盒或平面转换(In-Plane Switchin,IPS)盒或边缘场开关(Fringe Field Switching,FFS)盒。
可选地,所述背光液晶盒还包括设置在所述上电极之上的上玻璃,以及设置在所述下电极之下的下玻璃,并且所述上玻璃的配向方向与所述下玻璃的配向方向垂直。
可选地,参见图4,所述背光液晶盒从下至上依次包括:下玻璃401、下电极402、下配向膜403、液晶层404、上配向膜405、上电极406、上玻璃407。
可选地,本申请实施例提供的背光模组还包括:用于控制所述上、下电极之间的电压的控制装置。
该控制装置,例如可以是处理器,该处理器可以是中央处埋器(CPU)、专用集成电路(Application Specific Integrated Circuit,ASIC)、现场可编程门阵列(Field-Programmable Gate Array,FPGA)或复杂可编程逻辑器件(Complex Programmable LogicDevice,CPLD)。
实施例1:
参见图5,当所述背光模组应用到画面显示领域时,本申请实施例提供的一种显示装置,例如可以为TFT LCD,具体包括:导光板1、蓝光LED 2、光学膜片3、量子棒材料薄膜4、背光液晶盒5、偏光片6、用于显示图画的面板液晶盒7(也可以称为第二液晶盒)、偏光片8,利用量子棒的偏振态特性,采用该技术的背光的面板的色域和白点色坐标可以随意调整,扩充了产品的使用领域。
其中,所述的量子棒材料薄膜为含有红色和绿色量子棒材料的聚合物薄膜,通过改善量子棒的直径和种类,可以调整量子棒薄膜的发射波长和。量子棒材料薄膜的排列方向与面板下偏光片的透过轴方向平行;
所述的背光液晶盒的上电极和下电极为连续行,分出正极和负极,通过控制正极和负极的电压差,可以控制背光液晶盒内的液晶的偏振态,背光液晶盒可以为TN液晶盒,也可以为FFS液晶盒,优选TN液晶盒,该TN液晶盒的上玻璃配向方向与下玻璃配向方向垂直,只变更TN液晶盒中的上、下电极的电压差,控制TN液晶盒内液晶的偏振态,测试面板在TN液晶盒的上、下电极的电压差不同时的最大色域分布,具体如图6所示,可知,当电压为0V时,产品的色域最高,色域最高为110%,此时面板L255亮度为200nit,而当电压为4.5V时,背光液晶盒中的液晶处于偏振状态,此时色域为42%,L255亮度为350nit。
本申请实施例通过控制背光液晶盒的偏振态,进而控制量子棒色域提升方向与下偏光片的夹角,使得通过下偏光片的光谱在高色域和高亮度之间转换,增加产品的使用领域,在进行设计等领域时,产品对色域要求较高,此时背光处于高色域状态,而在普通领域,为了提升产品使用时间,降低功耗,采用高亮度状态。
实施例2:
当所述的背光模组应用到照明领域时,本申请实施例提供的一种照片设备的具体结构如图7所示,具体包括:导光板1、蓝光LED 2、光学膜片3、量子棒材料薄膜4、背光液晶盒5、偏光片6,其中背光液晶盒5为TN液晶盒,其上玻璃配向方向与下玻璃配向方向垂直,只变更背光液晶盒5中的上、下电极的电压差,控制TN液晶盒内液晶的偏振态,就可以控制照明设备的色温大小,搭配蓝光LED的电流,满足照明设备的不同色温、不同亮度的照明需求。在背光液晶盒5中的上、下电极的电压差取不同值的情况下,照明设备的色温波动情况如图8所示。
综上所述,本申请实施例提供了一种背光模组、显示装置、照明设备,用以通过在量子棒薄膜上面增加液晶盒,通过控制液晶盒的电极电压,控制液晶的偏振态,使背光通过偏光片后的光谱呈现高色域状态和高亮度状态等多种状态,实现背光光谱的动态控制,扩展背光模组的应用领域。
本领域内的技术人员应明白,本申请的实施例可提供为方法、系统、或计算机程序产品。因此,本申请可采用完全硬件实施例、完全软件实施例、或结合软件和硬件方面的实施例的形式。而且,本申请可采用在一个或多个其中包含有计算机可用程序代码的计算机可用存储介质(包括但不限于磁盘存储器和光学存储器等)上实施的计算机程序产品的形式。
本申请是参照根据本申请实施例的方法、设备(系统)、和计算机程序产品的流程图和/或方框图来描述的。应理解可由计算机程序指令实现流程图和/或方框图中的每一流程和/或方框、以及流程图和/或方框图中的流程和/或方框的结合。可提供这些计算机程序指令到通用计算机、专用计算机、嵌入式处理机或其他可编程数据处理设备的处理器以产生一个机器,使得通过计算机或其他可编程数据处理设备的处理器执行的指令产生用于实现在流程图一个流程或多个流程和/或方框图一个方框或多个方框中指定的功能的装置。
这些计算机程序指令也可存储在能引导计算机或其他可编程数据处理设备以特定方式工作的计算机可读存储器中,使得存储在该计算机可读存储器中的指令产生包括指令装置的制造品,该指令装置实现在流程图一个流程或多个流程和/或方框图一个方框或多个方框中指定的功能。
这些计算机程序指令也可装载到计算机或其他可编程数据处理设备上,使得在计算机或其他可编程设备上执行一系列操作步骤以产生计算机实现的处理,从而在计算机或其他可编程设备上执行的指令提供用于实现在流程图一个流程或多个流程和/或方框图一个方框或多个方框中指定的功能的步骤。
显然,本领域的技术人员可以对本申请进行各种改动和变型而不脱离本申请的精神和范围。这样,倘若本申请的这些修改和变型属于本申请权利要求及其等同技术的范围之内,则本申请也意图包含这些改动和变型在内。
Claims (9)
1.一种背光模组,其特征在于,包括:导光板、在所述导光板之上设置的发光二极管LED、在所述LED之上设置的光学膜片、在所述光学膜片之上设置的拥有偏振态的材料薄膜、在所述材料薄膜之上设置的液晶盒,以及在所述液晶盒之上设置的偏光片,其中,该液晶盒包括上、下电极以及设置在所述上、下电极之间的液晶,所述液晶在所述上、下电极之间的电压的控制下使得光的偏振态发生改变,其中:
所述拥有偏振态的材料薄膜,为量子棒材料薄膜。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述LED为蓝光LED,所述量子棒材料薄膜为含有红色和/或绿色量子棒材料的聚合物薄膜。
3.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述液晶盒为扭曲向列型TN盒或平面转换IPS盒或边缘场开关FFS盒。
4.根据权利要求3所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述液晶盒还包括设置在所述上电极之上的上玻璃,以及设置在所述下电极之下的下玻璃,并且所述上玻璃的配向方向与所述下玻璃的配向方向垂直。
5.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,还包括:用于控制所述上、下电极之间的电压的控制装置。
6.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求1~5任一权项所述的背光模组。
7.根据权利要求6所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述偏光片为下偏光片,所述液晶盒为第一液晶盒,所述显示装置还包括设置在所述下偏光片之上的用于显示画面的第二液晶盒,以及设置在所述第二液晶盒之上的上偏光片。
8.根据权利要求6或7所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示装置为薄膜场效应晶体管液晶显示屏。
9.一种照明设备,其特征在于,包括权利要求1~5任一权项所述的背光模组。
