发明内容

可设置非手动(hands-free)充电系统以将车辆连接至外部电源。非手动充电系统可以是感应充电系统。感应充电系统可包括充电接收器线圈和充电传输线圈。为保证感应充电接收器和感应充电传输装置之间的有效的电力传输,装置必须相对彼此准确地定位。现有技术中的感应充电系统可能需要车辆操作者花费大量时间来操纵车辆使无线充电接收器相对于无线充电传输装置准确地定位。根据本公开的各种实施例的非手动充电系统可包括自推进底盘(self-propelled chassis),所述自推进底盘具有可定位式充电传输线圈并由相关联的基于微处理器的控制器控制,以准确地使充电传输线圈对准车辆上的充电接收器,从而减少或消除操作者对车辆的操纵。

电力转换器98可被配置为从电源90接收高压电力(例如120V AC)并向充电传输装置78提供高压电力(例如120V AC)。电力转换器98可被配置为从电源90接收高压电力(例如120V AC)并向驱动系统22、驱动模块40、位置传感器72以及接近传感器74提供降压后的电力(例如12V DC)。电力转换器98可包括用于降低电压的降压AC变压器,以及用于将AC转换为DC的整流器。
当车辆110在车辆充电系统10的特定的范围内时,控制模块70可从用户界面130接收用户请求。用户界面130可以是车辆操作者的远程装置上的应用,该远程装置被配置为与车辆110和车辆充电机器人12交互。用户界面130可以是位于车辆110内的人机交互系统。
来自用户界面130的请求可请求配置车辆充电机器人12以启动车辆充电程序。在配置车辆充电机器人12时,控制模块70可接收多个信号以使车辆充电机器人12转向或操作而朝向车辆110移动。
控制模块70可从位置传感器72接收指示充电接收装置112在车辆上所设置的位置的信号。控制模块70可从接近传感器74接收指示车辆充电机器人12的路径中的潜在的障碍物的信号。基于这些信号,控制模块70可确定朝向车辆的行进初始方向或路径。
在操作中,控制模块70可持续地或周期性地从位置传感器72和接近传感器74接收信号,以维持或提供车辆充电机器人12的正确的行进方向或路径。响应于信号,控制模块70可命令驱动系统22使车辆充电机器人12向着充电接收装置112转向。
在命令驱动系统22使车辆充电机器人转向的过程中,驱动模块40可操作主动链轮36、38或驱动轮50、52。主动链轮36、38的操作可操作第一从动活动履带32和第二从动活动履带34。
响应于指示潜在障碍物接近底盘20的信号,控制模块70可命令车辆充电机器人12通过利用驱动模块40来操作转向马达58以使轮或第一从动活动履带32和第二从动活动履带34转向以避开或越过障碍物。
当车辆充电机器人12到达车辆110并响应于指示充电接收装置112的位置的信号时,控制模块70可命令定位机构76以将充电传输装置78移动或定位至车辆充电接收装置112。
响应于充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112的大体对准,控制模块70可命令定位机构76将充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112接合。当充电传输装置78在充电接收装置112的预定范围内时,充电传输装置78可大体与充电接收装置112对准。所述预定的范围可以是半球区域,在所述半球区域中,定位机构76可操纵充电传输装置78的位置,从而使充电传输装置78可释放地与充电接收装置11接合。
响应于充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112的可释放的接合,控制模块70可命令从电源90向车辆牵引电池传输电力。当电力被传输至车辆牵引电池以对车辆牵引电池至少部分充电时,可维持充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112之间的可释放的接合。
定位机构76可在多种情况下将充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112断开。例如,如果充电系统检测到来自电源90的电力损失,或者充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112之间的连接中断,控制模块70可命令定位机构76将充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112断开。响应于用户启动的结束充电过程的请求,定位机构76可将充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112断开。
充电接收装置112可连接至位于车辆110内部的牵引电池116。充电接收装置112可被构造为当车辆110通过车辆充电机器人12连接至电源90时,为牵引电池116提供电力。牵引电池116可操作地连接至车辆动力传动系统118。车辆动力传动系统118可包括选择性地连接至电机的发动机以及可操作地连接至电机或发动机的传动装置或变速箱。
充电接收装置112可靠近车辆110底侧设置。充电接收装置112可位于使充电传输装置78能够与充电接收装置112接合的其他位置。
如果充电接收装置112位于车辆110的底侧,则充电接收装置112可设置在车辆110的防磨损面(scuff plane)之上。充电接收装置112的位置在防磨损面之上可在接触地面或异物时减少对充电接收装置112的可能的损伤。
充电接收装置112可位于被实现为天气保护盒的外壳内,其中天气保护盒被构造为保护充电接收装置112和位置特征114不受自然环境影响的屏蔽罩。充电接收装置112可以是负载弹簧,以调节充电传输装置78和充电接收装置112之间的偏移或过移(over-run)。当充电传输装置78到达外壳时,外壳可打开以允许充电传输装置78与充电接收装置112的可释放的接合。

Claims (6)

1.一种车辆充电系统,包括:
底盘,由第一履带和第二履带支撑;
控制模块,可操作地连接至第一履带和第二履带以及定位系统;
第一电连接器,与定位系统相关联,其中,定位系统被配置为相对于底盘在竖直平面和水平平面内移动第一电连接器;
位置传感器,被配置为提供指示第二电连接器在车辆上的安装位置的信号;
电源,安装在底盘上,并与第一电连接器和控制模块相关联,其中,控制模块响应于所述信号而操作第一履带和第二履带以相对于第二电连接器移动第一电连接器,并且当车辆充电系统到达车辆时,控制模块响应于所述信号而命令定位系统相对于第二电连接器和底盘在竖直平面和水平平面内进一步定位第一电连接器。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆充电系统,还包括接近传感器,所述接近传感器被配置为提供指示障碍物接近底盘的信号。
3.如权利要求1所述的车辆充电系统,其中,电源是具有为车辆牵引电池充电的能力的电池。
4.如权利要求3所述的车辆充电系统,其中,控制模块被配置为将电力从电池传输至第一电连接器并将降压后的电力传输至与第一履带和第二履带相关联的驱动马达。
5.如权利要求1所述的车辆充电系统,其中,控制模块包括与被构造为驱动第一履带和第二履带的驱动马达通信的驱动模块。
6.如权利要求5所述的车辆充电系统,其中,控制模块还被配置为响应于用户请求,操纵底盘朝向第二电连接器运动同时避开由设置在底盘上的接近传感器检测的障碍物。
