Abstract

Provided in the present invention are a method, base station, positioning server, and system for uplink reference signal configuration. The method comprises the following steps: a base station receives configuration information transmitted by a positioning server (101); the base station refers to the configuration information to determine a configuration parameter for transmitting an uplink reference signal of a user equipment (UE); the base station configures a transmission parameter for the uplink reference signal of the UE on the basis of the configuration parameter (103); and, the UE transmits the uplink reference signal to the base station on the basis of a transmission mode configured by the base station. The present invention is primarily applicable in a UE positioning process and is capable of solving the problem of reduced positioning precision due to poor uplink reference signal quality.
