Abstract

A method of separating a glass sheet from a moving glass ribbon comprising engaging the moving glass ribbon with a traveling anvil machine comprising a separation device. The separation device applies a tension in a lateral (width-wise) direction and in a longitudinal direction (length-wise) relative to the glass ribbon, and a scoring device scores the glass ribbon across at least a portion of the width of the glass ribbon after the lateral and longitudinal tensioning. The separator device then applies a bending moment to the scored glass ribbon that causes the glass ribbon to separate along the score, thereby producing a glass sheet. The separator device reorients the glass sheet and transfers the glass sheet to a robot that conveys the glass sheet to a downstream process.

Background
Field
The present invention relates in general to the equipment and method that manufacture sheet glass, and specifically from the method for the glass ribbon separation of glasses plate of continuous moving.
Technical background
The recent trend of liquid-crystal display (LCD) glass business is gradually towards wider and thinner sheet glass (such as mean thickness is less than the sheet glass of about 0.5mm).Several years ago, sheet glass, the typical thickness such as the glass of Flat Panel Display Industry is on average about 0.7mm.The commercial successful method of one for the production of high quality glass sheet is by fusion downdraw technique, wherein forms glass ribbon by making molten glass flow overmolded body, then cuts each sheet glass from the continuous moving glass ribbon formed from it.This processing requirement glass ribbon presents rigidity to a certain degree.Along with width and the thickness reduction of glass ribbon, glass ribbon rigidity can significantly decline.Along with glass ribbon Stiffness, the processing parameter bottom forming technology and draw area narrows. This causes the process disturbance frequency of drawing stability and the increase reduced.Such as, during drawing process, glass ribbon presents the curvature of crossing over bandwidth (transverse to draw direction) usually. This curvature increases band rigidity. But consistent processing requirement curvature is consistent (such as, curvature keeps directed along consistent direction) also. The rigidity that the glass ribbon that the other factors reduced due to such as thickness causes reduces can cause the reverse of curvature direction, sometimes suddenly oppositely, disturbs moulding process thus.Due to the uncontrollable cracking that another fault that tape thickness reduces and/or bandwidth increase can occur is glass ribbon, such as, during cutting technique.
Ribbon thickness reduces, and adds that flow increases, produces more sheet glass or square feet.Fusion draw machine (FDM) is with faster speed conveying glass ribbon, this means the device related to when delineating glass ribbon, anvil machine (TAM) of advancing must more to delineate sheet glass, and must be followed the tracks of glass ribbon and transmit sheet glass with more rapid rate for carrying out the robot tool that is separated by Rapid Circulation.
The demand of thin glass plate is continued to increase, and in order to utilize drawing device completely, has increased to keep synchronous by the flow of the melten glass of producing apparatus. So, also significantly reduce for the allowed cycling time of plate partitioning cycle. But, be subject to the restriction how soon sheet glass can be separated the vertical space (highly) occurred with separating technology cycling time.Current device is about to reach design limit, makes the further minimizing of partitioning cycle time can produce unstable drawing process. The speed increasing continuously equipment can adversely affect glass cutting technology stability and equipment life.
Summary of the invention
The disclosure relates to advance bottom drawing machine by increasing mechanism and control to the carriage assemblies part of advancing of anvil machine of advancing anvil machine and automation effect and to reduce cycling time, and does not sacrifice process stability. These increases transfer to from automation anvil machine of advancing with the function of separation of glasses plate by bending from continuous molding glass ribbon at score line place. Therefore, the multiaxis automation usually performing these tasks can be exempted these tasks and only be used as material handling device so that the sheet glass of separation is delivered to downstream process station. This task transfers can reduce the overall partitioning cycle time, because the bending of glass ribbon can be performed by anvil machine of advancing before first front glass panel is sent to downstream process at automation with being separated of glass ribbon with sheet glass. Therefore total score that automation must spend in anvil machine position of the advancing part (such as reducing from about 20% to about 50% in some cases) from cycling time can be reduced. In addition, along with new glass panel products thins down, glass ribbon linear speed by increase and the partitioning cycle time can reduce. The separation of current glass plate is carried out in automation circulation and the time needed for materials handling function limit production speed also can may cause not good enough sepn process.Separating device as herein described and method is adopted to can be used for reducing the overall partitioning cycle time and the process speed adapting to increase. In other side, adopt separating device as herein described and method can improve sepn process stability, especially for thin glass plate (being such as equal to or less than the glass ribbon of about 0.3mm for thickness), improvement is: change a) eliminating the tracking speed between the airborne frame component of anvil and flex apart device of advancing, b) rotation bending axis is aimed at score line high degree of mechanical thus off-axis can not be occurred bend, c) two axis providing controlled level plate to move, d) larger process optimization is provided by using the controlled rotation plate of two axis to move, wherein the independent separating arm rotated can be used for giving the torsion in glass ribbon and/or spacer plate, e) automation can not be interrupted automatically to be separated and break process, f) the automation design limit based on automation weight limits or the restriction of automation gap is eliminated, the accurate downward force independent of bending angle and automation weight is provided to control thus, g) can before delineation by symmetrical glass ribbon side tensioning to flatten glass ribbon and can not reversing, h) the partitioning cycle time is significantly reduced by eliminating automation to follow the tracks of the needs of glass ribbon motion, and i) allow suction cup and head are aimed at by common plant instead of coordinate more than one piece apparatus. In a word, the function be separated as anvil machine of advancing of sheet glass and moving glass ribbon eliminate that automation is followed the tracks of as glass ribbon, sidepiece tensioning, downward force and plate benging tripping device.Automation becomes sheet glass means of conveyance so that separation of glasses plate is sent to downstream conveyor to shorten cycling time from drawing bottom section.Sheet glass is separated the function as anvil machine plate tripping device of advancing with moving glass ribbon, sheet glass separating technology can be integrated with servo driving nose piece.Automation the separation to be captured such as predetermined position sheet glass and complete send for the tripping device that anvil machine of advancing is integrated.

Embodiment
Now with reference to the accompanying drawings shown in example describe in detail embodiments of the invention.Whenever possible, use identical Reference numeral to represent same or similar part in all of the figs.
In the exemplary glass producing apparatus 10 shown in Fig. 1, the admixtion represented by arrow 12 is fed into smelting furnace 14, and fusing is to form the first temperature T 1under melten glass 16.First temperature T 1depend on concrete glass ingredient, but for the glass of liquid-crystal display can be used for, as non-restrictive example, T 1can more than 1500 DEG C.Melten glass flows through connecting tube 18 from smelting furnace 14 and enters refinery pipework (or " purifier ") 20.From purifier 20, melten glass flows to stirred vessel 22 with mixing and homogenizing by connecting tube 24, and arrives transport box 28 from stirred vessel 22 by pipe connecting 26, and after this arrives downtake 30.Then melten glass can be directed to formed body 32 from downtake 30 by entrance 34.As the clearlyest in Fig. 2 illustrate, formed body 32 comprises groove 36 and outsidely assembles molded surface 38, and this groove 36 receives molten glass flow from entrance 34, outsidely assembles line that molded surface 38 locates bottom formed body, root 40 place joins. When the technique of fusion downdraw shown in Fig. 1, the melten glass being transported to groove 36 overflows groove and flows through the convergence molded surface 38 of formed body 32 as separately stream, separately flows and to combine at root 40 place or fuse to form glass ribbon 42.Glass ribbon from root 40 by gravity and withdrawing roll 44 drop-down.Then glass ribbon can cool and be separated to form each sheet glass 46, as described in more detail below.
Fig. 3 illustrates the formed body 32 of Fig. 1 and 2, and also comprises the diagram of withdrawing roll 44 and anvil machine 48 of advancing. The opposed paired layout of withdrawing roll 44 also rotates backward. That is, adjacent with the first side of glass ribbon single withdrawing roll along with from the first withdrawing roll across and the contrary direction of the withdrawing roll adjacent with the second side of glass ribbon rotate.Glass ribbon is positioned between the withdrawing roll of opposing pair, makes withdrawing roll in the contact of the edge part office of glass ribbon and clamping glass band. The withdrawing roll of contrary rotation is driven by motor and apply downward force on glass ribbon, thus along draw direction 50 from formed body drawing glassribbons. They also contribute to the weight of supporting glass band, because in the period at least partially of partitioning cycle, the part below withdrawing roll of glass ribbon may not be supported.Do not have suitable clamping force, withdrawing roll may not apply enough downward pulling force maybe can not resist the part of gravity supporting glass band below withdrawing roll.
Along with glass ribbon declines from formed body, anvil machine 48 of advancing periodically coordinates with glass ribbon, and forms the score line 52 at least partially of crossing over glass ribbon. In order to ensure the maximum utilization of the sheet glass be separated with glass ribbon, it is desirable to be formed the indentation 55 of the edge section 54 of the lateral register being approximately perpendicular to glass ribbon.Edge section 54 can comprise the webbing part thicker than the internal portion of glass ribbon.Such as, webbing part may be formed due to surface tension effect.Along with glass ribbon is along draw direction 50 continuous moving, the width that scoring device crosses over glass ribbon with finite speed is advanced, should be clearly, in order to form the indentation of the edge section perpendicular to glass ribbon, scoring device must move and make during scribing process, do not have the relative movement along the direction being parallel to draw direction between scoring device and glass ribbon. Thus, in delineation cycle period, first anvil machine 48 of advancing moves along draw direction from initial zero position, and reaches the speed with the speeds match of moving glass ribbon. That is, glass ribbon is with velocity vector Vr continuous moving, and this velocity vector Vr comprises direction 50 along draw direction and predetermined speed S.Anvil machine of advancing obtains the velocity vector Vt mated with the velocity vector of glass ribbon.
With reference to Fig. 4, the scheduled time between the drop-down Formation period of anvil machine 48 of advancing, the first nose piece 56 being connected to anvil machine of advancing coordinates with the first side of glass ribbon, and the second side of the glass ribbon that this first side contacts with scoring device 58 is contrary. For the sake of clarity, the side contacted with scoring device 58 (such as scribe wheel) of glass ribbon is denoted as " A " side of glass ribbon, and the opposition side contacted with the first nose piece 56 of glass ribbon is denoted as " B " side (in order to simplify, carry out identical sign for the sheet glass that glass ribbon separates, what make sheet glass is denoted as " A " side of sheet glass and " B " side respectively with the side that scoring device or nose piece effectively contact).First nose piece 56 can be used for being flattened by sheet glass and providing the power contrary with scoring device exerted forces. That is, the first nose piece 56 is used as anvil machine, and during scribing process, glass ribbon 46 is compressed this anvil machine by scoring device.Although not shown, but in certain embodiments, additional nose piece can be used on " A " side of glass ribbon, on " B " side of glass ribbon or on " A " side and " B " both sides, side, glass ribbon flattened with auxiliary or reduce otherwise upwards can advance to the vibration of the visco-elastic portion of glass ribbon along the length of glass ribbon. The vibration being transitioned into the visco-elastic portion of the glass ribbon 42 of elastic stage at glass ribbon from viscous state can cause undesired stress in glass ribbon, and this stress can cause the warpage of the sheet glass 46 removed from glass ribbon.
In some scribing process, automation 60 coordinated with the end of glass ribbon before scribing process.Automation 60 comprises robotic arm 62 and suction unit 66 (such as suction cup), and robotic arm 62 comprises the platform 64 being positioned at its far-end, and suction unit 66 to be arranged on platform and to coordinate with the edge section of " B " side of glass ribbon.Robotic arm 62, with the velocity vector Vra mobile platform 64 mated with velocity vector Vr, makes glass ribbon, movement is all connected by anvil machine of advancing (comprising scoring device 58 and the first nose piece 56) and platform 64, and do not have relative movement betwixt. In other words, automation 60 makes platform 64 follow the tracks of glass ribbon by robotic arm 62.When platform 64 follow the tracks of glass ribbon 42 make along draw direction, relative movement not to occur between platform and glass ribbon time, robotic arm mobile platform 64, makes suction unit 66 coordinate (or by once position below the score line that formed) with the glass ribbon below score line 55.Once complete the delineation of glass ribbon, the robotic arm 62 being now connected to glass ribbon 46 gives glass ribbon with the bending moment against the first nose piece 56, produce the tension force crossing over score line 55, thus in glass ribbon, form gap crackle because indentation propagates across the thickness of glass ribbon and sheet glass 46 is separated with glass ribbon 42.Robotic arm is still connected to sheet glass 46 and glass ribbon is moved to receiving station.Sheet glass can such as be placed on transmission assembly by automation 60, and transmission assembly moving glass ribbon is to carry out downstream processing (such as removing the edge section of sheet glass, edge polishing, washing etc.).Once sheet glass is placed on downstream process, then robotic arm turns back to zero position, prepares be separated and transmit another sheet glass.
In the past bright should be understood that motion and operation that this technique depends on advance anvil machine 48 and the good layout of automation 60 is stated. These motions and operation can increase the quality time of overall operation circulation. The term partitioning cycle time used herein refers to that anvil machine of advancing starts and for some time stopped when advance anvil machine and automation have turned back to its corresponding starting position when draw direction is from starting position.Specifically, rely on automation 60 and perform multiple function, (such as realize along the moving of draw direction with draw rate, coordinate with glass ribbon, apply bending motion and sheet glass is sent to downstream process) unnecessarily increase partitioning cycle time.Such as, after separator well first sheet glass, the separation of the second sheet glass must be waited for, until automation is disposed the first sheet glass and returned to coordinate with glass ribbon). Thus, by eliminating some function and the motion of automation 60 and/or being moved to the shortening that anvil machine 48 of advancing can realize the partitioning cycle time.
Not only for coordinate with delineation glass ribbon but also for generation of causing the bending example of the glass ribbon be separated of sheet glass and glass ribbon to advance anvil machine shown in Fig. 5.According to the present embodiment, the predetermined position of automation 60 below the root 40 of formed body 32 coordinates with glass ribbon, make after sheet glass 46 to be separated with glass ribbon 42 by anvil machine 48 of advancing, sheet glass is delivered to automation 60 (i.e. robotic arm 62).Then sheet glass 46 is delivered to next technique station (such as transmission equipment, receiving jig etc.) by automation 60.Thus, such as glass ribbon tracking, sidepiece tensioning, downward force apply and for separating of the function of plate benging performed by anvil machine 48 of advancing.Automation 60 is only used as sheet glass means of conveyance, and arrange and be configured to from coordinating the sheet glass that is separated bottom drawing and being sent to downstream process.
Referring now to Fig. 5, according to the carriage assemblies 72 that the anvil machine 48 of advancing of the present embodiment comprises framework 70 and connects with framework 70.Framework 70 can be connected to the structure unit of the facility holding glass manufacturing equipment rigidly.Such as, framework 70 can be connected to structure iron or the concrete of shop building rigidly.Travel screw 74 to be installed in rotation on framework 70 and to extend between upper frame member 76 and lower frame member 78.Travel screw 74 can be connected at least one motor being configured to rotational travel screw rod.Such as, Fig. 5 illustrates the single-motor 80 being driven two travel screw 74 by wheel casing 82, power train 84 and drive shaft 86.Other also may be had to arrange.

Carriage assemblies 72 also can comprise the scoring device 58 being connected to carriage assemblies 72 by track 90.Scoring device 58 is driven along track 90 by any driving mechanism that scoring device 58 can be made to advance along suitable exact path.Such as, scoring device 58 is driven along track 90 by travel screw and driven nut, and mode is similar to the layout of carriage assemblies 72.Also can use the pneumatic operation for scoring device.Scoring device 58 also can comprise the linear slide that one or more pneumatic or step-by-step motor starts, and linear slide to be configured to scoring device or its part along the direction perpendicular to draw direction 50 respectively towards glass ribbon or extend away from glass ribbon or retract. At extended position, scoring device 58 coordinates with glass ribbon 42 (such as contacting). In retracted position, scoring device 58 and glass ribbon 42 are thrown off.In certain embodiments, available cordless completes delineation, wherein delineates and is completed by laser beam.In these cases, scoring device extension and retract may be unnecessary.
Carriage assemblies 72 also can comprise the one or more tripping devices 92 connected with it.Each one or more suction units 96 comprising separating arm 94 and connect with separating arm in one or more tripping device. Each in one or more separating arm 94 be configured to respectively along perpendicular to draw direction 50 and the direction being roughly parallel to glass ribbon width dimensions extend towards or away from glass ribbon 42 or retract. That is to say, be parallel to the X-direction shown in Fig. 5.In addition, each separating arm is configured to relative to pivot axis.Such as, in the embodiment shown in fig. 5, illustrate that two separating arms 94 comprise two tripping devices. Each separating arm is connected to carriage assemblies 72 by linear slide 98 and turning gear roller box 100, linear slide 98 be arranged to along perpendicular to draw direction 50 and the direction (Fig. 6) being parallel to Y-direction extend and retraction separator, and the pivot center 102 (see Fig. 6) that turning gear roller box 100 is configured to lean around the first end location of nearly separating arm rotates separating arm.Turning gear roller box 100 is driven by such as step motor (not shown). Each separating arm can be independently controlled.Such as, in certain embodiments, slewing rate can be different between separating arm, or rotating sequential can be different, the suction unit of separating arm is made not form plane (namely, separating arm be used in glass ribbon and/or sheet glass apply reverse, make a lateral edges of glass ribbon and opposite side edge not parallel). In addition, suction unit 96 is connected to separating arm by the first linear slide 104, and the first linear slide 104, along the direction being parallel to draw direction 50, is namely parallel to Z-direction and moves (extend or retract) suction unit.Such as, Fig. 6 illustrates the multiple paired suction unit being connected to each separating arm by the first linear slide 104, and often pair of suction unit is connected to each link arm by the first linear slide 104.In addition, suction unit 96 is also connected to separating arm by the second linear slide 106, and the second linear slide 106 is configured to along the direction perpendicular to draw direction 50, is namely parallel to X-direction and moves (extend or retract) suction unit.Obviously should can arrange that other constructs.Linear slide 104 and 106 can be such as pneumatically-operated carriage, but the driving mechanism substituted comprises the carriage that step motor drives. In addition, although Fig. 6 illustrates paired suction unit 96, suction unit 96 can individually be connected to separating arm 94.
The general introduction of the processing step taked by anvil machine 48 of advancing during being below partitioning cycle, see Fig. 7-12.
At first step 200, carriage assemblies 72 starts from the zero position of anvil machine top of stroke of advancing downwards and reach the speed (that is, Vr ≌ Vt) equaling or be substantially equal to glass ribbon speed along draw direction 50.Term used herein, " stroke " of carriage assemblies comprises carriage assemblies along the total journey of moving in direction being parallel to draw direction 50.During zero position represents glass partitioning cycle, carriage assemblies is advanced at utmost, and is the point of carriage assemblies along draw direction 50 setting in motion.
In next step 202 and carriage assemblies 72 reach equal or be substantially equal to glass ribbon along draw direction 50 speed after, separating arm 94 is advanced along linear slide 98 along the first direction (Y-direction) perpendicular to draw direction 50, wherein each suction unit 96 coordinates along edge section 54 with glass ribbon 42, and vacuum is applied to suction unit makes glass ribbon keep (such as clamp) by suction unit.
In step 204, carriage assemblies 72 continues to advance along draw direction along draw direction with the speed of the speed S equaling or be substantially equal to glass ribbon, activates the second linear slide 106 thus provide to be parallel to the horizontal tension that X-direction crosses over glass ribbon width. In order to apply the horizontal tension of the X-direction (i.e. width) being parallel to glass ribbon, activate the second linear slide 106 outside for the second linear slide (being X and-X-direction respectively) to be moved along the direction away from glass ribbon. But when suction unit 96 coordinates completely with sheet glass, suction unit is attempted to move produce the power being applied to glass ribbon along the direction being parallel to width and the remarkable actual motion not having suction unit along outside X and/or-X-direction.That is, first group of second linear slide 106 of locating along an edge section 54 of glass ribbon 42 activated to move in X direction, and activated along second group of second linear slide 106 that the opposing edge parts 54 of glass ribbon 42 locates and move with edge-X-direction.Thus, the width segments of the contrary power leap glass ribbon of drawn glass band is applied to glass ribbon 42 in the width direction.
In step 206, scoring device 58 is mobile in place on track 90, and scribing tool extends to contact glass ribbon 42, now scoring device 58 is along X (or-X-direction, according to arranging) cross over moving at least partially of glass ribbon 42, to form the indentation 55 of a part of crossing over glass ribbon width.Should point out, the webbing being positioned at edge section 54 makes the delineation difficulty in this region. Thus, indentation 55 can be formed between webbing.
In step 208, enable the first linear slide 104, make each suction unit 96 apply power along draw direction (-Z-direction) to glass ribbon, make longitudinally to apply tension force to glass ribbon 42.
In step 210, separating arm 94 rotation axis 102 that rotates is rotated, and makes glass ribbon 42 compress the first nose piece 56, crosses over indentation thus and applies tension force, until cross over indentation to apply rupture stress and crack is propagated at indentation place to be separated with glass ribbon 42 by sheet glass 46.In the separation moment, the longitudinal force applied by the actuating of the first linear slide 104 causes sheet glass 46 downward and away from the δ of displacement immediately of glass ribbon 42.This displacement prevents the accident between the sheet glass of separation and the free end of the new formation of glass ribbon from contacting, and eliminates the Latent destruction source to sheet glass or glass ribbon thus.
In step 212, separating arm 94 moves farther to launching position by each linear slide 98 along Y-direction.In step 214, separating arm 94 is rotated by turning gear roller box 100, make sheet glass 46 for vertically or roughly vertical, and carriage assemblies 72 is along the stopping of moving of draw direction 50.Meanwhile, automation 60 moves robotic arm 62, each suction unit 66 is coordinated with " A " side of sheet glass 46, and applies vacuum to each suction unit 66, thus is kept (or being sucked device clamping) against suction unit by sheet glass 46.In step 216, each suction unit 96 is thrown off with " B " side of sheet glass, and move think that the glass ribbon 42 of decline provides space along the direction (being respectively X and-X-direction) perpendicular to draw direction, and separating arm is along to be parallel to and second direction (-Y-direction) perpendicular to draw direction is mobile, until separating arm is positioned at zero position wait for next partitioning cycle. In step 218, sheet glass 46 is sent to next downstream process by automation 60.In step 220, carriage assemblies 72 starts along to be parallel to but move in direction (Z-direction) in contrast to draw direction 50.In step 222, each suction unit 96 moves inward along the direction (respectively X and-X-direction) perpendicular to draw direction, to prepare again to coordinate with glass ribbon during next partitioning cycle. In step 224, carriage assemblies 72 turns back to zero position, to prepare to start another partitioning cycle.
Should be obvious, keep the re-set target reducing the partitioning cycle time, the multiple abovementioned steps presented with particular order for the ease of understanding can perform in fact simultaneously.Such as, the linear of separating arm and rotational motion can be there is simultaneously. Also should not be construed as the concrete order requiring to enumerate.Equally, such as and the reason that occurs in turn in order to rotation and the motion of translation of separating arm of hypothesis, rotation may occur before linearly advancing, or on the contrary.
According to each embodiment described herein, before automation 60 returns from the first front glass panel of transmission, bending glass sheet can be carried out by tripping device 92 and is separated. Therefore automation is put part cycling time that must spend and is greatly reduced in anvil seat in the plane of advancing, and anvil machine of advancing is without the need to waiting for that automation performs except coordinating with sheet glass and transmitting the action of sheet glass.
Describe from previous embodiment and operation and obviously also may have other embodiment.Such as, in the context of Fig. 5 and 6, tripping device 92 is located so that suction unit 96 contacts the edge section 54 of glass ribbon 42 on " B " side of glass ribbon, and by rotating counterclockwise along direction " tractive " glass ribbon (see Fig. 6) towards the first nose piece 56.Tripping device can re-construct easily, thus on " B " side being positioned at glass ribbon at tripping device 92 while, suction unit coordinates with glass ribbon on " A " side of sheet glass that (wherein suction unit fabricated section holds the edge of glass ribbon.Even if therefore automation can above coordinate with glass ribbon in the same side (" A " side), each suction unit can, via linear second sliding part 106 transverse shifting, make each suction unit not have the obstacle passed required for automation guiding glass sheets.
Alternatively, the position of tripping device 92 can rearrange on carriage assemblies 72, tripping device is positioned on " A " side of glass ribbon, and automation 60 is positioned on " B " side of glass ribbon thus.In this embodiment, be not by standing to rotate counterclockwise along direction " tractive " glass ribbon (with reference to Fig. 6) towards the first nose piece 56, separating arm 94 can stand to rotate clockwise and against the first nose piece 56 " promotion " glass ribbon. But although various equipment may be had to construct, they have total step of above general introduction jointly: be connected to the motion of the separating arm of anvil machine of advancing to coordinate with the suction unit of its connection with glass ribbon; Glass ribbon is by the lateral tension of tripping device; Glass ribbon is by longitudinal tensioning of tripping device; The rotation of tripping device is to apply bending moment to glass ribbon, and sheet glass is separated with glass ribbon by this bending moment; Sheet glass sending to automation, and anvil machine of advancing (such as carriage assemblies, separating arm, scoring device) turns back to its starting position, is ready to start another partitioning cycle.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that and can carry out various change and change to the present invention and not deviate from the spirit and scope of the present invention. The present invention covers and falls into by the change of the present disclosure provided in appended claims and its equivalency range and modification.
