急性胃肠炎，是一种常见多发病，其症状是：上腹正中偏左或脐周阵发性或持续性疼痛，恶心，频繁呕吐，剧烈腹痛，频繁腹泻水样便，重者会引发脱水，并伴有发热、头痛、全身不适及程度不同的中毒症状；目前治疗这种病的中西药很多，但中药的副作用比较小。

治疗急性胃肠炎的中药汤剂，其组成原料的重量份为：扁豆10-15、肉豆蔻10-12、五味子6-8、山楂2-4、泽泻4-5、沙参6-8、核桃仁12-14、猪苓3-5、马齿苋10-12、牡丹皮10-15、铁苋菜2-4、余甘子4-6、蔓荆子6-8、神曲3-5、西洋参6-10、白术8-10、升麻2-4、牡蛎5-8、大半边旗1-3和鼬瓣花根4-6。

用量及用法：服用本发明的中药汤剂，每日一剂，分早、晚两次服用，一般10-15剂即可治愈。
典型病例：
病例1、吴某某，男，32岁，三日前急性胃肠炎复发，伴上腹阵发性疼痛，恶心，呕吐，腹痛并泻水样便，服用本发明的中药汤剂，每日一剂，分早、晚两次服用，连服三剂，效果明显，症状明显好转，后继续服用一周，痊愈。
