In one embodiment of the smart house card collecting and storing method of the present invention, if the position of the house card is in the first sensing area and the state of the house card is an invalid card, it is prompted to take out the house card. In one embodiment of the smart card deposit method of the present invention, the prompt to remove the card is made after the amount of cards reaches a threshold.
Next, a smart house card-collecting method according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 5. Fig. 5 is a flow chart of a smart house card-trap method 1000 according to another embodiment of the present invention.
In step 1001, the card is sensed by the sensing antenna 104, and the related information on the card is read. At step 1002, the type and status of the card is determined. If the card is a valid ordinary house card or membership card, then at step 1004 the card's house number is recorded and the status light 110 is caused to flash green, after which the method continues to step 1010. If the card is an invalid card (i.e., a card that is not expected to be valid, such as an unidentifiable card, an empty house card, a membership card that has not checked in, etc.), a reminder voice of "the card is invalid" is played at step 1003, after which the method continues to step 1030.
In step 1010, it is determined whether the network is normal. If the network is normal, the method continues to step 1012; if the network is abnormal, the method continues to step 1011, where a "network abnormal, please go to foreground" alert is played and the status light 110 is turned on in a yellow color, after which the method continues to steps 1020 and 1030.
At step 1012, a determination is made as to whether the PMS system is normal. If the PMS system is normal, the method continues to step 1014; if the PMS system is abnormal, the method continues to step 1013 where a "PMS system abnormal, please go to the foreground" reminder voice is played, after which the method continues to steps 1020 and 1030.
At step 1014, it is determined whether the customer has already checked out. If the check-out has occurred, the method continues to step 1016; if not, the method continues to step 1015, where a reminder voice of "not yet checked out, please check in front" is played, after which the method continues to steps 1020 and 1030.
At step 1016, the information in the PMS system is changed, i.e., the sweeper is notified to enter the room number for cleaning, the customer name under the room number is removed, the room number is entered into the list of available rooms, and a "return successful" reminder is played, after which the method continues to step 1030.
In step 1020, the count of the exception card is incremented by 1 and displayed on the lcd screen 109. Optionally, a continuous alarm tone may be sounded when the abnormal card count value reaches a threshold value. The threshold may be a default value set by the system, or manually entered by an attendant. The abnormal card count value and/or the continuous alarm tone may be cleared by the attendant click.
At step 1030, it is checked whether the card is within the house card drop channel. If the card is not in the house card drop passage and is a paid-out ordinary house card, a prompt voice of 'please drop' is played in step 1034; if the card is not in the house card dropping channel and is a paid membership card, no action is taken; if the card is not in the house card drop lane and is an abnormal card, the "please check in the foreground" reminder voice is played again at step 1036.
Based on the smart house card deposit collector 100 shown in fig. 2, if the card is in the house card drop passage and is a general house card that has been paid out, the valve control device 106 is placed in an open state so that the card enters the card accommodation space 107 at step 1031; if the card is in the house card drop passage and is not a paid-out ordinary house card, then in step 1032, the valve control device 106 is set in a closed state, and a reminding voice of 'please take out' is played so as to facilitate the card to be taken out by a waiter or a customer; the status light 110 is in a red flashing status. The valve control 106 closes automatically after 1 second.
Based on, for example, a smart house card acceptor having two card accommodation spaces, if the card is in the house card drop passage and is a general house card settled, the card is made to enter a normal card accommodation space through the valve control device in step 1031; if the card is in the house card drop passage and is not a checkout normal house card, then in step 1032, the card is made to enter the abnormal card accommodating space by the valve control device; the status light 110 is in a red flashing status. Optionally, the status light 110 may be caused to flash red or emit a continuous warning sound only when the abnormal card count reaches a threshold value. Again, the threshold may be a default value set by the system, or manually entered by an attendant. The valve control device automatically closes after 1 second.
Therefore, the intelligent house card collecting device and the intelligent house card collecting method can reduce the queuing time of customers; meanwhile, the workload of the foreground can be reduced, the turnover speed of rooms can be increased, the room time for the foreground customer to check in can be shortened, and the like, so that the working efficiency and the customer satisfaction can be improved.
Furthermore, the invention can reduce the returning procedures, shorten the time consumption and simplify the process, and reduces the human input and the operating cost of the hotel.
In addition, the intelligent house card collecting device and the intelligent house card collecting method have considerable fault tolerance and flexibility, namely, the house card and the membership card can be swiped in two sensing areas inside and outside the intelligent house card collecting device substantially, so that the service efficiency of the hotel is really improved.
