Abstract

本发明是关于量化信道状态信息的方法与装置。本发明的一实施例提供向配置有Nt根定向天线的基站提供码字索引信息的方法,包含:确定秩为r的第一码本中的第一码字,r=1,2,...Nt,并将该码字索引发送至基站。确定秩为r的第二码本中的第二码字,及将该码字索引发送至基站。第一码字是一块对角矩阵,其对角块上的矩阵为Nt/2行、Nb列矩阵。该Nb列是自N个预定义的DFT向量中任选的Nb个不同DFT向量,N为2的整数次幂,1≤Nb≤N,每个DFT向量长度为Nt。第二码字中对应每一数据流的每一列包含自第一码字的Nb列中独立选择用于两个极化方向的DFT向量的等长列选择向量及两极化方向间的同相信息M为2的整数次幂,0≤m≤M-1。
