Detailed Description
Illustrative examples of the invention are now described with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals represent like elements. The following description of the various embodiments is provided to enable those skilled in the art to make a thorough understanding of the present invention and is intended to be exemplary rather than limiting. Unless otherwise defined, terms (including scientific, technical and industrial terms) used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs.
FIG. 1 is a flow chart illustrating a method of making a payment via email in accordance with an example of the present invention. The method may be performed in an application environment consisting of an electronic device of a user of a payment card (i.e., a holder of the payment card), a first payment system, and a second payment system. As an example, the "electronic device" mentioned herein includes a portable electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, and an electronic device such as a personal desktop computer that can access a network and can send and receive mails; the first payment system is a third-party payment platform such as a Unionpay system, a Payment treasure and the like; the second payment system comprises an issuer of the payment card, an issuer of the payment card of the payee and the like. In addition, it should be noted that although the terms "user of the payment card" and payer are used in the description of the present application according to the context, they refer to the holder of the payment card.
As shown, at step 100, a payment card is associated with a first payment system. Illustratively, the payment card is a bank card. Associating the payment card with the first payment system means in particular that the payment cardholder registers with the first payment system and binds information about it to the payment card. As an example, the first payment system receives registration information sent by a payment card-holder. The registration information includes payment card holder identity information, payment card information, an e-mail address of the holder communicating with the first payment system, and auxiliary communication information other than the e-mail address. The holder of the payment card may register with the first payment system by: logging in a related webpage of the first payment system, filling in registration information, and submitting the filled-in information to the first payment system. Based on the registration information, the first payment system interacts with the second payment system to determine whether the identity information of the holder and the payment card information are valid. In the case where the confirmation is valid, the first payment system transmits a registration-related e-mail including registration success information to the holder of the payment card. Thus, the first payment system records the identity information of the payment card holder, the payment card information bound with the identity information of the holder, and the e-mail address of the holder communicating with the first payment system in the later payment process. And secondary communication information. The auxiliary communication information is preferably the mobile phone number of the holder. In addition to the information that the registration is successful, the registration-related e-mail includes other information, such as information relating to a predetermined format.
In step 102, a payment email is sent in a predetermined format to a first payment system, the payment email containing data relating to the payment. The payment card holder sends a payment e-mail to the first payment system by the electronic device through the mail in the registration information at the time of registration. In this application, the term "payment email" refers to an email that requires the first payment system to perform payment transaction processing. The data related to payment includes the payment amount, the name of the payee, the payment card number of the payee, the bank to which the paid card belongs, and the like. The predetermined format relates to the format and content of the payment e-mail, in particular the e-mail address of the party to be paid is required to be included in addition to the e-mail address of the first payment system. Meanwhile, the predetermined format requires that the subject portion of the payment e-mail indicates the payee information and the payment amount. The payee information includes the payee's payment card number, the name or name of the payee.
In step 104, the first payment system, after receiving the payment email, determines whether the payment email satisfies a predetermined format. If not, at step 105, an email is sent to the sending address of the payment email that the payment was unsuccessful. If so, a payment transaction processing request is initiated to a second payment system associated with the payment card at step 106. As mentioned above, the second payment system includes an issuer of the payment card and an issuer of the paid card, and so on. Subsequently, in step 108, the second payment system performs corresponding processing according to the payment processing request, and transmits the processing result to the first payment system. Here, the processing of the payment service by the second payment system is the same as the processing of the payment service by the issuer and the issuer of the paid card in the prior art, and thus, the description thereof is omitted here. In step 110, the first payment system sends the payment to the payer and the payee, respectively, by a result notification email based on the received processing result. The term "result notification email" refers to an email to notify the payer and the processed result of the payment service by the payer. The first payment system informs the payment result of the email address of the payment email through the result, and simultaneously sends the payment result to the email address of the payee, so that the payer and the payee can know the relevant conditions of the payment.
The method of making payment by e-mail according to the present invention may be implemented as software or hardware or a combination of both. After the method is adopted, the holder of the payment card can send a payment request to the first payment system through the electronic mail, and simultaneously the payment request is also sent to the payee (the mail address of the payee is listed as the recipient address of the payment electronic mail), so that the payee knows the information that the payer is paying when the first payment system starts to process the payment service. After the payment service is processed, the first payment system sends the payment result to the payer and the payee in an e-mail mode, so that the payer and the payee can know the payment condition conveniently without extra communication.
According to another embodiment of the invention, there is also provided a system for making payments by email. The system for payment by email is applied in an application environment including an electronic device of a user, a first payment system, and a second payment system. Fig. 2 illustrates a schematic configuration diagram of a system for making a payment by e-mail according to this example. As shown, the system for making payment by e-mail includes an association module 20, a first sending module 22, a first processing module 24, a second processing module 26, and a second sending module 28.
The association module 20 associates the electronic device provided at the user with the first payment system for associating the payment card with the first payment system. Here, associating the electronic device provided to the user and the first payment system means that the association module 20 is partially provided to the electronic device of the user and partially provided to the first payment system, and the two parts cooperate with each other to associate the payment card with the first payment system. Specifically, the association module 20 includes a first association unit 201 provided in the electronic device of the user and a second association unit 202 provided in the first payment system. The first association unit 201 is arranged to send registration information for use in connection with the payment card to the first payment system. The registration information includes payment card holder identity information, payment card information, an email address of the payment card holder in communication with the first payment system, and secondary communication information other than the email address. The second association unit 202 is arranged to interact with the second payment system based on the registration information to confirm whether the identity information of the payment card holder and the payment card information are valid, and, in case of confirmation of validity, to send a registration-related e-mail containing registration success information to the first association unit. The registration-related e-mail may further include information related to a predetermined format. Preferably, the secondary communication information is the user's mobile telephone number.
A first sending module 22 is provided in the electronic equipment of the user, which is arranged to send the payment e-mail to the first payment system in a predetermined format. The e-mail contains data relating to the payment. The payment card holder sends a payment e-mail to the first payment system by the electronic device through the mail in the registration information at the time of registration. As mentioned above, the predetermined format relates to the format and content of the payment e-mail, in particular the recipient address of the payment e-mail is required to include the e-mail address of the payee in addition to the e-mail address of the first payment system. Meanwhile, the predetermined format requires that the subject portion of the payment e-mail indicates the payee information and the payment amount. The payee information includes the payee's payment card number, the name or name of the payee.
The first processing module 24 is arranged in the first payment system and is arranged to determine, after receiving the payment e-mail, whether the payment e-mail fulfils a predetermined format and, in case the e-mail fulfils the predetermined format, to initiate a payment processing request to the second payment system associated with the payment card. If not, sending an email of unsuccessful payment to the sending address of the payment email. The second processing module 26 is provided in the second processing system, performs corresponding processing according to the payment processing request, and transmits the processing result to the first payment system. The second sending module 28 is provided in the first payment system, and sends the payment to the payer and the payee, respectively, by the result notification e-mail based on the received processing result. The term "result notification email" refers to the processing result of the email to notify the payer and the payee of the payment service. The first payment system informs the payment result to the e-mail address of the payment e-mail through the result, and simultaneously sends the payment result to the e-mail address of the paid party, so that the paying party and the paid party can know the related condition of the payment.
The system for making payments via email according to the present invention may be implemented as software, hardware, or a combination of both. After the system is adopted, a holder of the payment card can send a payment request to the first payment system through an electronic mail, and the payment request is also sent to a payee (the mail address of the payee is listed as the recipient address of the payment electronic mail), so that the payee knows that the payer is paying at the same time when the first payment system starts to process payment service. After the payment service is processed, the first payment system sends the payment result to the payer and the payee in an e-mail mode, so that the payer and the payee can know the payment condition conveniently without extra communication.
The process management system or method applied to the distributed system can easily manage the distributed cluster formed by a large number of hosts, and does not need to be additionally arranged for the continuously and transversely expanded distributed system, because each node can send the position information and the process information of the node to other nodes in the environment through the node control module after being accessed into the distributed system. In addition, unlike process management solutions in other cluster environments, the system and method provided by the present invention can initiate management operations at any node in a distributed system, without relying on nodes with specific functionality.
