Abstract
A product management display system for merchandising product on a shelf includes at least one tray having a front rounded portion and defining a plurality of apertures and having two sides. A lip may extend upward from the front rounded portion of the at least one tray. A front shelf may extend forward from the lip. The at least one tray may include one divider extending upwardly from each of the two sides and a front wall. The front wall may include a top wall, a bottom wall, and two side legs. The front wall, bottom wall, and two side legs may form a wall aperture and the front wall may include a plurality of projections configured to engage with the plurality of apertures on the tray.

One or more product retaining member 44 can extend in the front portion of supporting plate 12 and between separator 18.Product retaining member 44 is used as anterior retaining wall or bar, to be remained on by product in supporting plate 12 and to prevent product from deviating from supporting plate 12.These components are also configured to allow the product of the forefront be positioned in supporting plate 12 easily to remove.Product retaining member 44 can be the holding rib of one or more curved shape, as shown in Figure 1.Holding rib shown in these can extend to another separator from a separator, is thus connected separator.Holding rib also can partly extend between the partitions, is illustrated in figure 1 rib 46, to contribute to product to remain in supporting plate.Alternatively, and as shown in Figure 6, product retaining member 44 can be the solid retaining wall 48 of the curved shape extended between the partitions.Retaining wall 48 can be transparent or translucent, to allow product visible on display rack.On the other hand, retaining wall 48 also part can extend between separator 18.In another embodiment shown in Figure 11-15, retaining wall 100 can be attached to the surface of supporting plate and be free of attachment to separator.In this embodiment, retaining wall 100 can form opening 102, and described opening is by upper member 104, and relative crooked sidewall 106 (it limits angled edge 108 further) and floor members 110 limit.Sidewall 106 also can be straight and not bend, and this depends on system.The end of disc spring also can be snapped in bottom surface 110 or use any technology as herein described to be attached to supporting plate.Those skilled in the art can easily understand, and there is the many possible shape and structure that are used for product retaining member 44, and shown structure are only the exemplary embodiments of this many structure.
Get back to Fig. 1, exemplary rail-free pusher mechanism 14 limits pusher plate 50 and pusher bottom surface 52.It can be maybe the structure of separating using known technology to link together that pusher plate 50 and pusher bottom surface 52 can be formed as single monomer structure.In addition, pusher plate 50 and pusher bottom surface 52 can with any known suitable plastic or metal material manufactures.Pusher plate and pusher bottom surface can use any known reinforcement technique to be strengthened.
In one aspect, pusher plate 50 forms curved shape pusher surface or face 54, and it is configured to coupling will by the shape of product sold, such as, plastic bottles containing beverage or jar, as in Figure 3-5.The pusher surface 54 of curved shape allows pusher to keep center to aim at product last in supporting plate.Friction between this structure minimizing pusher and separator wall and towing.In replacing, pusher surface or face can be flat surfaces.On the other hand, smooth pusher surface can be implemented by the rib of curved shape, on the top that described rib is positioned at pusher plate or neighbouring and may be used for making product in supporting plate in and aim at, its mode is similar to the pusher surface 54 of the curved shape shown in Fig. 1.Curved shape rib can limit other shapes and structure, and it allows product that is cylindrical or similar shape suitably to be promoted in supporting plate.Advertisement, product identification information or other product informations can be placed on pusher surface 54.
One or more supporting member 58 (such as rib, wall or gusset) can be positioned at the rear in pusher surface or face 54.Supporting member 58 is configured to support pusher surface 54 and further pusher plate 50 be connected to pusher bottom surface 52.As shown in Figure 5, disc spring 30 is positioned between supporting member 58, and more specifically curling end 57 is positioned between supporting member 58, and described end is used for by pusher plate 50 along supporting plate 12 forced forward, as understood by those skilled in the art.Any technology for operatively disc spring being connected to pusher plate 50 may be used for the present invention.

In in replacement of the present invention, as shown in figs. 16-20, adapter 180 can be located on surface 16.See Figure 16 and 17, adapter 180 can comprise the rib 182 of one or more projection, and product can be positioned on described rib.Protruding rib 182 can be extending longitudinally along the length of adapter 180.Adapter 180 can be the smooth extrusion of plastic material (or any other suitable material), and it limits plane surface 184, and one or more rib 182 stretches out from plane surface 184.Adapter 180 can limit rounded ends 185 and comprise groove or cut out portion 186, and disc spring can extend through or through described groove or cut out portion.Rounded ends 185 can be configured to the shape of mating the product be placed on supporting plate.The end 185 of other shapes, groove 186 and adapter 180 may be used for the present invention, and this depends on will by product sold.Adapter 180 can be separate insertable parts or be alternatively and surface 16 integrally formed parts.
See Figure 18, adapter 180 can be easily inserted between surface 16 and separator 18.See Figure 19, once adapter 180 is mounted, then pusher mechanism 14 can be positioned at adapter 180 top on and freely can slide past the rib 182 of adapter 180.Disc spring 30 can extend in a parallel manner and can be positioned at top surface place or the below of rib 182, as more clearly illustrated at Figure 20 between rib 182.By this structure, can be positioned on rib 182 by product sold and slide along rib 182, instead of on disc spring 30.
In in replacing, rib 182 can be the pearl of one or more projection, or series of finger-like thing, and it may be used for subsidiary products motion on surface 16.In an alternative embodiment, rib 182 can be product moving link, such as traveling part or one or more roller or rotating member, and it allows product rolling through rotating member and towards the anterior movements of product demonstration system.Exemplary rollers sub-component comprises RTC Industries, the No.11/257 that Inc. submitted on October 25th, 2005, and assembly disclosed and described in the U. S. application of 718, this application is by reference for being herein incorporated.As the skilled artisan will appreciate, many feasible technology are had to may be used for described pusher mechanism, for the motion of subsidiary products on display rack or bottom surface.
The downside of pusher bottom surface 52 can be smooth surfaces surface, and it freely slides along surface 16.Alternatively, and be similar to above-mentioned, pusher bottom surface 52 can comprise pearl, traveling part, roller etc., and it allows pusher bottom surface along surface sliding, and still makes pusher bottom surface upwards rise to leave surface 16.In an alternative embodiment, the downside of pusher bottom surface can be configured to have track installation component, to allow pusher to be installed to track or slideway, as understood by a person skilled in the art.
Pusher bottom surface limits groove or cut out portion 62 further, and disc spring 30 will through this groove or otch.The end 29 of disc spring 30 by the groove 26 through groove 62 and through surface 16, and uses any technology as above to be installed to supporting plate.
In use, rearward actuated in supporting plate 12 with pusher mechanism 14, the end 29 of disc spring 30 will remain on position as above and beginning is untied winding at pusher plate 50 rear by the spiral end 57 of spring 30.If pusher 14 is allowed to travel forward in supporting plate 14, such as, when product is removed from supporting plate front portion, the spiral end 57 of spring 30 is by winding and force pusher plate 50 to travel forward in supporting plate 12, is actuated the front portion of product towards supporting plate thus.
In an alternate embodiment, disc spring 30 can extend below pusher bottom surface 52, and the situation above pusher bottom surface with through pusher bottom surface is contrary, as shown in drawings.By this structure, groove 59 and groove 62 can be dispensable.
Disc spring 30 can be any biased element, includes but not limited to jointly for the flat spin spring of pusher system.The present invention can use one or more disc spring, and with by pusher mechanism 14 forced forward, this depends on expects application.The coil tension force of spring 30 also can depend on embody rule and change.
See Fig. 2, rail-free pusher mechanism 14 is shown as being installed to supporting plate 12.As directed, pusher mechanism 14 is assemblied in supporting plate 12 between separator 18.The end 29 of disc spring 30 extends through the groove in pusher bottom surface and is installed to supporting plate as above.In use, sliding in the surface 16 along supporting plate 12 by pusher mechanism 14, and does not use track, slideway or guiding piece.As shown in Figure 2, pusher mechanism 14 is shown as and is in anterior position.

See Fig. 6, show the alternative embodiment of pusher supporting plate.By this embodiment, multiple supporting plate 12 can be formed as single many blade assemblies 80.Many supporting plates can have the bottom surface shared with separator 18, and described separator upwards extends from bottom surface, to form multiple supporting plate or row.In this embodiment, product retaining member 44 can be solid element, and it extends between two separators, as mentioned above.One or more any known technologies (comprising clamping, dovetail groove connection, securing member etc.) that can use in many blade assemblies 80 connect in mode side by side or link together.By this structure, many row products can be set to the sale for many products.
As mentioned above, rail-free pusher mechanism 14 may be used for the system of gravity work, that is, this system has supporting plate or product channels, and it is arranged on inclined-plane, with the sale allowing gravity to carry out subsidiary products.Alternatively, rail-free pusher mechanism 14 may be used for non-inclined mode or the system of installing in a horizontal manner, and wherein gravity does not rise the sale of product or plays very little booster action.Rail-free pusher mechanism 14 also may be used for promoting various shapes.
Fig. 7 shows the exemplary end 60 of the end 29 for disc spring 30, and disc spring 30 may be used for marketing system 10.As directed, end 60 is defined for the hole 61 of the end 29 receiving disc spring and the hole 63 for the surface 16 that is installed to supporting plate.As shown in Figure 7, in of alternative embodiment, tongue-like part or installation component 65 can extend below surface 16, and described installation component can be configured to coupling hole 63 and end 60 is snapped into tongue-like part 65, and is snapped into surface 16 thus.
Exemplary end 60 see Fig. 8, Fig. 7 is shown as being installed to tongue-like part or installation component 65.Tongue-like part 65 can be elongated outward extending rib 67, and it is for being snapped into tongue-like part 65 by end 60.It will be understood by those skilled in the art that other technologies may be used for end 60 to be installed to surface 16 and shown technology is only the exemplary embodiment of a this technology.
See Fig. 9, exemplary end 60 is shown as being installed to surface 16 in a snap-fit manner completely, and is more specifically installed to the end sections 24 on the surface 16 of supporting plate 12.The end 29 that it also shows disc spring 30 is installed to the hole 61 of end 60.As shown in Figure 9, the end 29 of disc spring can be inserted into hole 61.Hole 61 is configured to the end 29 of reception disc spring and end 29 is remained on position, and when expecting also to allow the end 29 of disc spring to remove from hole 61 when being thrown off from end by disc spring, removes from system to allow pusher mechanism 14.
See Figure 10, show the end 29 of the disc spring being installed to exemplary end 60 completely.As shown in the drawing, disc spring 30 is operatively connected to the surface 16 of supporting plate 12.As a result, pusher mechanism 14 is installed to supporting plate 12 now.
See Figure 21-27, show the replacement technology for the end 29 of disc spring 30 being installed to merchandise display system.Installation component 130 may be used for the bottom surface 131 end 29 of disc spring being installed to system.For these systems---it comprises isolated sliding rail 132, and track is linked together (Figure 26-27) by connection rib 134, and installation component 130 can be snapped into or to be otherwise arranged on bottom surface 131 and between sliding rail 132.The end of disc spring will be held in place and remain to the bottom surface of system by installation component thus.

Installation component 130 also can comprise slipping rib 139 on the top surface, and this allows product placed on it, easily more to slide past installation component after the bottom surface being installed to system at installation component.Installation component 130 also can comprise elongated flat body 140, and described elongated flat body extends to the front of the position of leg 136, with after the bottom surface being installed to system at installation component for installation component 130 provides stability.
See Figure 24-25 and 27, pusher plate or pusher mechanism 141 can comprise promotion face 143, and described promotion face is configured to coupling and its form fit with the product promoted.As directed, promotion face 143 can be curved shape, to mate bottle or other cylindrical objects.Pusher plate 141 also can comprise pusher bottom surface 145, is similar to pusher bottom surface as above structure.Pusher bottom surface 145 may further include spring housing 147, and described spring housing receives disc spring 30, to shield and to protect spring.Spring housing 147 can along the direction of spring 30 partly or extend completely across pusher bottom surface 145.Spring housing 147 can have relatively short height and flat surfaces 149, to allow product to be located on it, and does not have remarkable overturning or the inclination of product.
Pusher plate 141 can be positioned on the top of bottom surface 131, with the slide on top on surface, as mentioned above.Pusher plate can be positioned between two product partition walls 153, and described product partition wall is linked together by product retaining member 155.Additional product retaining member 157 can stretch out from product separator.
See Figure 28 and 29, show another replacement technology for the end 29 of disc spring 30 being installed to merchandise display system.In this embodiment, end 29 is riveted to supporting plate 216.
See the Figure 28-32 in alternative embodiment, rail-free pusher system can be improved to and adapt to existing display rack assembly 230, and this assembly may have the product separator be configured in wherein.Such as, in one embodiment, rail-free pusher system can be improved to and adapt to existing steel wire display rack assembly.See Figure 30-32, supporting plate or adapter 216 can have slip bottom surface 222, and described slip bottom surface size can be set to single display rack 234 or size is set to whole display rack width.Slip bottom surface 222 can comprise several salient rib 224, and it contributes to for product sold on supporting plate 216 reduces friction.Should be understood that one or more salient rib 224 may be used for slip bottom surface 222.Alternatively, slip bottom surface 222 can be smooth plane surface, and does not have salient rib.Supporting plate or adapter 216 can be configured to the adapter 180 being similar to Figure 16.
As shown in Figure 28 and 30, the end 29 of disc spring 30 can be riveted to the front end 228 of supporting plate 216 via rivet 229, maybe can be attached by any other attach technology.Supporting plate 216 remains to display rack by any attach technology being applicable to concrete display rack.In one embodiment, and as shown in Figure 29-32, supporting plate 216 can comprise one or more outward extending finger piece or fastener 220, and it can engage one or more steel wires 232 of display rack 234, to be remained on display rack 234 by supporting plate 216.Finger piece or fastener 220 can be extending longitudinally along the length of supporting plate 216, or can open along the length separation of supporting plate.Fastener 220 may be used for supporting plate 216 to be snapped into existing steel wire display rack.As shown in figs. 29 a and 29b, fastener 220A and 220B can limit multiple structure, and it allows supporting plate 216 snap-fitted to display rack.Embodiment shown in Figure 28-32 allows rail-free pusher system to be placed on existing display system, such as steel wire display rack system, as the low cost alternative to whole rail-free pusher assembly.Should be understood that by this embodiment, any pusher mechanism as herein described can be used.
As shown in Figure 33 and 44, in a further exemplary embodiment, show that management system comprises one or more pusher mechanism 286, one or more separator 266, one or more supporting plate 306 and one or more retainer 250.Pusher mechanism 286 can be formed with pusher plate 287 and pusher bottom surface 288.Product to be placed on pusher bottom surface 288 and to be directed into the front portion showing management system via separator 266 and pusher plate 287.Pusher mechanism 286 towards retainer 250 bias voltage, makes product move to the front portion of system by disc spring 30.
In one exemplary embodiment, as shown in figure 33, disc spring 30 can be installed to retainer 250.Alternatively, disc spring 30 can be installed to separator 266 (being also shown in Figure 48 and 49).Disc spring 30 can directly be installed to retainer 250, as shown in figure 33, or can be installed to retainer 250 via independent adapter 252, as shown in figure 34.
As shown in figure 35, adapter 252 has the wall 254 of close first end 256.First end 256 has sweep 262, and it is bent upwards.The mid portion of adapter 252 can be set to have curved duct 260, and it is suitable for the spring end (not shown) receiving respective shapes.
The mid portion of adapter 252 can be fixed at the disc spring 30 of an end.In the exemplary embodiment, curved duct 260 shape and size correspond to the first spring end.In addition, the first spring end of disc spring 30 is rollable or bending, to provide additionally fastening.But any enough fastening methods can be used for the first spring end of disc spring 30 to be fixed to adapter 252.
In the exemplary embodiment, as shown in figs. 36 and 37, retainer 250 has curved duct 284, and described curved duct shape and size are corresponding to the sweep 262 of adapter 252.Curved duct 284 extends the length of retainer, locates along the infinite in length of retainer 250 to allow adapter 252.
In order to the first spring end of disc spring 30 is fixed to retainer 250, the sweep 262 of adapter 252 is placed in the curved duct 284 of retainer 250.First spring end of adapter 252 and disc spring 30 is fixed to retainer 250 and provides assembling fast and easily of display systems by curved duct 284.Wall 254 provides the additional stability connected between retainer 250 and adapter 252.But additive method can be used for the first spring end of adapter 252 and/or disc spring 30 to be fixed to retainer 250.
Alternatively, as shown in Figure 33 and 44, the disc spring 30 of pusher plate 287 directly can be installed to the front portion of supporting plate 306.First spring end 290 of disc spring 30 is set to have sweep.Sweep is bent downwardly from pusher bottom surface 288 and is adapted to be received in (as shown in figure 33) recess 316, and described recess is limited by the lip 318 of the front surface distributing supporting plate 306 and retainer 250.Lip 318 and retainer 250 vertical orientated spaced, makes to form gap between the leading edge of vertical orientated surface and lip 250.In order to disc spring 30 and pusher mechanism 286 are fixed to assembly, the first spring end 290 to be inserted in the gap formed between the vertical orientated surface of retainer 250 and the leading edge of lip 318 and in the recess 316 that formed of the lip 318 be placed in by distributing supporting plate 306 and retainer 250.
Figure 38,39, in another exemplary embodiment shown in 48 and 49, disc spring 30 can directly be installed to separator 266.In addition, in this exemplary embodiment, disc spring 30 can be installed perpendicular to pusher bottom surface 288, disc spring 30 is reeled around axes normal in pusher bottom surface 288.The advantage that this orientation has prevents pusher plate from turning over backward.First spring end 290 can be set to have angled part 292 and end section 296.In one exemplary embodiment, angled part 292 can bend perpendicular to disc spring body 294.Separator can be set to have conduit 298, and described conduit is suitable for the end section 296 of reception first spring end 290.
In order to disc spring is fixed to separator, end section 296 is inserted in conduit 298.Once end section 296 is inserted in conduit 298 completely, angled part 292 engages conduit 298, the first spring end 290 is fixed to separator 266.
As shown in figure 33, various pusher mechanism design can be implemented.Pusher plate 287 can be formed as smooth, to adapt to the product of respective shapes.Alternatively, pusher plate 286 can have bending first end and the second smooth end.This is for adapting to various cylindrical product, and it has the diameter of various different size and contributes to the operation of pusher mechanism 286.During operation, product in pusher mechanism 286 forces pusher mechanism against separator 266 together with bending first end, make while being in tension force or work, disc spring 30 keeps smooth against separator 266, and described separator keeps the first spring end 290.This allows pusher mechanism more quiet run and guarantee that product is divided appropriately when product is removed from system by user.
In another exemplary embodiment shown in Figure 40-41D, the distance between separator 266 is adjustable to the container adapting to different size.Separator 266 can be set to have coupling part 272.Coupling part 272 can be set to have the first elongated one-tenth angled surface 268 and the second elongated angled surface 270.In addition, coupling part 272 can be set to have multiple protuberance 274.As shown in figure 41b, track can be formed with tooth 278, and described tooth has flank of tooth surface 280 and tooth flank surface 282.
When assembling, as shown in fig. 41c, coupling part 272 is received between the tooth 278 of track.In addition, elongated angled surface 268 and 270 and protuberance 274 are wedged between tooth 278.Also as shown in fig. 41c, elongated angled surface 268 and 270 engages flank of tooth surface 280, and the lower surface of protuberance 274 soldered tooth 278.Tooth flank surface 282 contact-and-connection portion 272.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in Figure 42, supporting plate 306 is set to have dovetail groove coupling part.First side 308 of supporting plate 306 is set to have tongue 312, and described tongue is suitable for being assemblied in the groove 314 be arranged on the second side 310 of supporting plate 306.In order to connect supporting plate, groove 314 aims at tongue 312, and tongue 312 is securely fixed in groove 314.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in Figure 43, supporting plate 306 is configured to the retainer 250 being received in front end place.Retainer can be set to have rectangular opening 300, and retainer is set to the protuberance 302 with respective shapes and size.In order to retainer 250 is fixed to supporting plate 306, protuberance 302 is assembled in hole 300, with by retainer locks in place on supporting plate 306.
