技术领域
本申请涉及一种液晶显示(LCD)装置,更具体地,涉及一种用于简化构造并确保驱动地(driving ground)的连续性的LCD装置。
背景技术
阴极射线管(CRT)是广泛使用的显示装置之一。CRT主要用作电视机显示器、测量装置、信息终端等。然而,CRT的沉重和庞大却是制造小巧轻便的电子产品的主要障碍。
换句话说,在当前流行的小巧轻便的电子产品中,CRT受到重量和尺寸的限制。在此情况下,利用电光效应的LCD装置、利用气体放电的等离子显示板(PDP)、利用电致发光效应的电致发光显示装置等均可望替代CRT。
在替代性显示装置中,正在对LCD装置进行积极研究。并且,由于其诸如亮度高、厚度薄、功耗低等优点,LCD装置正在逐渐得到广泛的应用。此外,LCD装置正被制造得屏幕更大、厚度更薄、功耗更低,以满足用户的要求。这样的LCD装置通过控制经由液晶传输的光量来显示图像。
与CRT不同,LCD装置并非自发光显示装置。因此,LCD装置包括设置在LCD面板后表面的背光单元。该背光单元包括单独的光源,用于提供显示图像所需的光。根据光源的位置可将背光单元分为边缘型或直接型。
边缘型背光单元主要用于尺寸较小的LCD装置,例如笔记本电脑和台式电脑的显示器。边缘型背光单元具有良好的光均匀性、加长的使用寿命以及使得LCD装置变薄的优点。
当LCD装置的尺寸扩大到20英寸以上时,直接型背光单元开始得到集中地开发。直接型背光单元使得光线直接照射到LCD面板的整个表面。为此,直接型背光单元包括设置在散射板下表面的多个光源。由于直接型背光单元比边缘型背光单元具有更高的光效,因此其主要用于要求高亮度的大尺寸LCD装置。
LCD装置包括具有LCD面板和背光单元的LCD模块、安装在LCD模块的后表面的系统驱动器以及上下壳。通过顶壳和底盖的接合,使得LCD面板和背光单元相互接合。顶壳用于包围LCD面板的上表面边缘。底盖用于容纳背光单元。上下壳相接合以包围除了显示区域之外的LCD模块,从而完成LCD装置的组装。
通过这种方式对普通的LCD装置进行了复杂的构造,因此组装效率下降,不仅难以降低成本,也难于实现轻薄的LCD装置。
发明内容
因此,本发明致力于提供一种LCD装置,其基本上能够消除因现有技术的限制和缺点而导致的一个或多个问题。

此外,LCD装置包括散热板153,该散热板153位于PCB 151的下表面并用于迅速释放多个LED 150所产生的热量。散热板153与PCB 151形成表面接触。并且,散热板153被固定和电连接到前盖100的内侧表面的底部。这样的散热板153被形成为条状。

如上所述,根据本发明的另一实施方式的后盖101使得驱动器290被固定到支撑板270(其位于前盖100的一个侧表面的底部)和散热板253(其位于前盖100的另一个侧表面的底部)。因此,根据本发明另一实施方式的LCD装置可采用比普通LCD装置更简单的方式来配置,并且可以变得更加轻薄。此外,由于根据本发明的LCD装置去掉了现有技术中的顶壳和底盖,因此整体厚度减小而有利于实现轻薄。
此外,另一实施方式的LCD装置使得驱动器290被固定到采用金属材料制成的支撑板270和散热板253。并且,另一实施方式的LCD装置使得支撑板270和散热板253电连接到前盖100。因此,另一实施方式的LCD装置能够确保面板驱动PCB 115和驱动器190的地的连续性。
尽管采用上述实施方式对本发明进行了有限的解释,但是本领域技术人员应当理解,本发明并不限于这些实施方式,而是在不偏离本发明精神的前提下可进行各种更改或变型。因此,本发明的范围应当且仅由所附的权利要求及其等效物来确定。

Claims (7)

1.一种液晶显示装置,其包括:
液晶显示面板;
前盖,其被配置为包围所述液晶显示面板的边缘,并用作所述液晶显示装置的顶壳和上壳;
背光单元,其被配置为向所述液晶显示面板发出光,并具有支撑所述液晶显示面板的前表面和相对的后表面;
后盖,其容纳所述背光单元,并用作所述液晶显示装置的底盖和下壳;
散热板,其设置在所述背光单元的一侧的下方,并被配置为释放来自发光二极管的热量;
支撑板,其设置在所述背光单元的另一侧的下方,并被配置为支撑面板驱动印刷电路板;以及
驱动器,其设置在所述背光单元的后表面,并被固定到所述支撑板和所述散热板。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中所述前盖由金属材料制成,所述散热板被固定到所述前盖的内侧并与所述前盖电连接,PCB被支撑并电连接到所述散热板。
3.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中所述前盖由金属材料制成,所述支撑板被固定到所述前盖的内侧表面并与所述前盖电连接,所述支撑板支撑并电连接到所述面板驱动印刷电路板。
4.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中所述前盖由金属材料制成,所述支撑板和所述散热板被固定到所述前盖的内侧并与所述前盖电连接,所述驱动器与所述支撑板和所述散热板中的至少一个电连接。
5.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中所述支撑板包括:
第一支撑部,其被配置为支撑所述面板驱动印刷电路板;以及
第二支撑部,其被配置为从所述第一支撑部延伸并被固定到所述驱动器的一端。
6.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中所述支撑板和所述散热板被分别固定到所述前盖的两个侧表面。
7.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其中所述散热板和所述支撑板由金属材料制成。
