存储器46可以包括非易失性和易失性存储器。例如,非易失性存储器可以包括硬盘驱动器、记忆棒、闪存等等。此外,易失性存储器可以包括随机存取存储器及本技术领域公知的其他存储器。存储器46可以存储电源管理模块48,生命安全操作系统50和生活方式操作系统52,以及其他数据和/或模块。电源管理模块48包括指令,当由处理器44执行时,这些指令导致处理器44执行此处所描述的过程,诸如参考图5详细地讨论的电源管理过程。生命安全操作系统被配置为提供与系统10相关联的生命安全特征。生活方式操作系统52被配置为提供与系统10相关联的生活方式特征。具体而言,处理器44被配置为运行生命安全操作系统50和生活方式操作系统52,以便不需要单独的处理器来运行两个操作系统。此单处理器配置降低成本,同时仍能提供生命安全和生活方式特征。
存储器46可以包括Wi-Fi劫持模块(未示出),该模块当处理器确定未经授权的人通过Wi-Fi连接到安全控制单元16时改变安全控制单元16。例如,Wi-Fi劫持模块可以关闭Wi-Fi和/或移动到低电能RF,以便用户接口设备12和/或建筑物设备14仍可以与安全控制面板进行通信。存储器46可以包括自动注册模块(未示出),该模块被配置为导致处理器44以无线方式搜索位于建筑物电源内或附近的建筑物设备14。自动注册模块可以导致处理器44将与发现的设备12和14相关联的信息转发到远程监测中心20,以便远程监测中心20可以将注册数据推到安全控制单元16以促进配置。安全控制单元16可以使用安全系统中配置的注册数据,以便系统使用发现的设备12和/或14来进行操作。自动注册模块缩短安装时间,因为设备12和/或14被自动地发现,并注册供安全控制单元16使用。
将参考图3来描述用于提供本地控制和配置数据的示例性用户接口设备12。用户接口设备12可以包括便携式控制小键盘/接口12a、个人计算机12b、移动设备12c和平板电脑12n,以及其他设备。用户接口设备12包括通信元件54,该通信元件54被配置为通过诸如ZigBee、Z-wave和Wi-Fi之类的至少一个无线通信协议,以及本技术领域公知的其他协议,与安全控制单元16进行通信。用户接口设备12可以包括对应于安全控制单元16组件的处理器56和存储器58,基于设计需要,调整大小和性能。处理器56对于用户接口设备12执行此处所描述的功能。
存储器58可以包括电源管理模块60,其中,电源管理模块60包括当由处理器56执行时,导致处理器56执行此处所描述的过程,诸如参考图6讨论的电源管理过程的指令。存储器58可以基于设计需要,存储其他模块和数据。接口62可以是被配置为接收用户输入的用户接口。例如,接口62可以接收从用户输入的本地控制和配置数据。
用户接口设备12可以包括诸如八十五dB警报器之类的警报器64或本技术领域公知的其他音响设备。用户接口设备12可以包括用于向用户接口设备12提供电源的电源66。电源66可以包括一个或多个可再充电的和/或一次性使用的电池,以及其他类型的公知的电池。此外,用户接口设备12可以通过通用串行总线(USB)供电,具有允许连接外部电源适配器/充电器,和/或其他连接类型的接口。
将参考图4来描述安全控制单元16的示例性软件体系结构68。具体而言,软件体系结构68可以包括生命安全操作系统50、生活方式操作系统52和引导加载程序54,以及涉及安全控制单元16的安全特征管理和操作的其他软件组件。生命安全操作系统50和生活方式操作系统52被配置为在安全控制单元16中运行,其中,生命安全操作系统50和生活方式操作系统52在虚拟机配置中运行。虚拟机配置使诸如处理器44之类的单个处理器分别地运行生命安全操作系统50,同时更新生活方式操作系统52,而不会对生命安全操作系统50与相关联的特征造成负面的影响,即,当更新生活方式特征时生命安全特征保持运转。反之也是可以的。引导加载程序54被用来加载操作系统50和52的运行时间环境。
图5中示出了示例性电源管理过程。电源管理过程涉及至少部分地基于对建筑物电源36和后备电源38的监测来管理安全系统。处理器44判断建筑物电源36是否发生故障(框S100)。例如,处理器44可以使用本技术领域公知的方法来监测由建筑物电源36所提供的电源,以判断是否发生电源故障。当由建筑物电源36供应的电压低于预定义的电压阈值时,可能会发生电源故障。如果处理器44判断没有发生电源故障,则可以重复框S100的判断。
如果判断建筑物电源36处于电源故障状况下,则处理器44禁用诸如生活方式特征之类的非生命安全特征,同时使生命安全特征保持启用(框S102)。例如,可以禁用与生活方式操作系统相关联的温度控制特征,同时使与生命安全操作系统50相关联的闯入检测、火警检测和一氧化碳检测特征保持启用。电源管理模块48有利地使诸如与生活方式操作系统50相关联的生活方式特征之类的非生命安全特征被禁用,而不会中断与生命安全操作系统52相关联的生命安全特征。此配置帮助确保在建筑物电源36故障期间生命安全特征将保持启用,同时通过禁用非生活方式特征来减少消费的电能。例如,某些生活方式特征可能需要或尝试启动与用户接口设备12和/或远程监测中心20的通信,其中,这样的通信会消耗电能,即,可能消耗有限的后备电源。可以被禁用的其他非生活方式特征包括关闭任何安全控制设备LED和/或结束与用户接口设备12的通信,同时维持与建筑物电源设备的通信。因此,禁用至少一个非生命安全特征会减少由安全控制单元16消耗的电能量,其中禁用非生命安全特征越多,节电量越大。
处理器44至少部分地基于对建筑物电源36的监测来判断是否恢复建筑物电源36(框S104)。例如,处理器44可以不断地或周期性地监测建筑物电源36的功率级别以判断该功率级别是否等于或高于预定的电压阈值。如果处理器44判断建筑物电源36已经恢复,则处理器44可以恢复或启用以前禁用的非生命安全特征(框S106)。换言之,一旦安全控制单元16正在被建筑物电源36供电,电源管理过程就启用诸如生活方式特征之类的可能消耗更多电能的非生命安全特征,使得非生命安全特征消耗最少的来自后备电源38的电能。
如果判断建筑物电源36的电能没有恢复,则判断是否触发诸如音响报警之类的报警(框S108)。具体而言,音响报警可以在处理器44判断安全控制单元16已经以后备电源38来操作达预定时间量(例如,二十四小时)之后被触发。预定的时间量可以基于设计需要和/或管理要求。如果判断要触发报警,则可以触发警报器40或警报器64达预定的时间量(框S116)。在一个实施例中,处理器44使用通信子系统30来将警报器触发消息发送到用户接口设备12,以在用户接口设备12中触发警报器64。例如,警报器64可以被触发达至少四分钟,以便将安全控制单元16状态(诸如丢失所有电源)警告给用户。报警被触发的预定的时间量可以基于设计需要和/或管理要求。可以基于设计需要,使用其他准则来触发音响报警。在触发警报器64之后,可以关闭安全控制单元16(框S118)。例如,当后备电源38达到预定义阈值,诸如剩余10%的电量时,安全控制单元16可以根据关闭例程,执行平稳的关闭。
回头参考框S108,如果处理器44作出不触发报警的判断,处理器44判断是否达到可用电量阈值(框S110)。电量阈值可以对应于可以关闭另一非生命安全特征以便减少电能消耗时的后备电源38级别。例如,每当功率级别下降预定的量,诸如5%或10%或下降到预定级别时,都可以结束不同的非生命安全特征。此外,一次可以结束一个或多个非生命安全特征。如果判断没有达到特征阈值,则可以重复框S104的判断。
如果判断已经达到电量阈值,则处理器44判断是否启用至少一个其他非生命安全特征,例如,生活方式特征(框S112)。例如,照明生活方式特征可能已经预先在框S102中禁用,但是,温度生活方式特征保持启用。如果判断没有启用至少一个其他非生命安全特征,则可以重复框S104的判断。如果处理器44判断已启用至少一个其他非生命安全特征,则处理器44禁用至少一个其他非生命安全特征,使得非生命安全特征消耗较少的来自后备电源38的电能(框S114)。非生命安全特征被禁用的顺序可以基于设计需要和单个特征的电能消耗或其他准则而变化。在禁用至少一个其他非生命安全特征之后,则可以重复框S104的判断。电源管理过程通过结束或禁用诸如生活方式特征之类的不那么重要的特征,来帮助确保比较重要或安全相关性较高的特征保持被供电。可另选地,处理器44一次可以禁用一个以上的或所有非生命安全特征。
图6示出了对于用户接口设备12的示例性电源管理过程。电源管理过程涉及至少部分地基于对电源66的监测来管理用户接口设备12特征。例如,处理器56可以使用本技术领域公知的方法来监测由电源66所提供的电源。处理器56至少部分地基于监测来判断由电源66供应的电能是否下降到低于预定义的阈值,即,电源66电压或功率级别是否小于阈值(框S120)。阈值可以是基于设计需要和/或其他因素确定的电能和/或电压电平。如果处理器56确定电源66不低于,即,大于或等于预定阈值,可以重复框S120的判断。
如果判断电源66低于预定阈值,则处理器56禁用至少一个非安全特征,而使生命安全特征在用户接口设备12中保持启用(框S122)。例如,处理器56可以禁用生活方式特征,以便可以通过不必执行处理、通信和/或与被禁用的特征相关联的其他功能,消耗较少的电能。其他非安全特征可以包括背光小键盘和/或显示器特征。因此,禁用至少一个非生命安全特征会减少由用户接口设备12消耗的电能量,使得禁用非生命安全特征越多,节电量越大。
在禁用至少一个非生命安全特征之后,处理器56可以至少部分地基于监测来判断是否电源66仍低于阈值(框S124)。例如,处理器56可以不断地或周期性地监测电源66的电压电平。如果判断电源66不低于阈值(即,大于或等于阈值),则处理器56可以恢复以前禁用的或结束的非安全特征(框S126)。换言之,一旦电源66大于或等于阈值,图6的电源管理过程就启用或执行可能消耗更多电能的以前禁用的非生命安全特征,使得非生命安全特征消耗最少的来自电源66的电能。当电源66正在被再充电和/或当用户接口设备12正在被通过USB供电,以及在电源66不再低于预定阈值的其他情况下,电源66可以回升到预定阈值级别。可另选地,可以基于设计需要,从图6的电源管理过程中跳过或排除框S124和S126,即,过程从框S122直接移动到框S128。
如果判断电源66低于阈值,处理器56判断是否触发诸如音响报警之类的报警(框S128)。具体而言,在处理器56确定电源66已经达到较低的预定阈值之后,可以触发音响报警。例如,较低的预定阈值可以对应于触发警报器64达预定的时间量和/或关闭用户接口设备12所需的最小电量级别。较低的预定阈值可以基于设计需要。如果判断要触发报警,则可以触发警报器64或警报器40达预定的时间量(框S136)。例如,警报器64可以被触发达至少四分钟,以便将用户接口设备12状态(诸如丢失所有电源状态)警告给用户。报警被触发的预定的时间量可以基于设计需要和/或管理要求。可以基于设计需要,使用其他准则来触发音响报警。在触发警报器64之后,可以关闭用户接口设备12(框S138)。例如,安全控制单元16可以根据关闭例程执行平稳的关闭。
回头参考框S128,如果判断不触发报警,处理器56判断是否达到特征阈值(框S130)。特征阈值可以对应于可以关闭另一特征以便减少电能消耗时的后备电源38级别。例如,每当电量发生未能达到另一预定的量,例如,5%或10%时,可以结束差异特征。此外,可以一次禁用或结束一个以上的特征。如果判断没有达到特征阈值,则可以重复步骤S124的判断。可另选地,如果从过程中跳过或排除框S124并判断没有达到特征阈值,则可以执行框S128的判断。
如果判断达到了特征阈值,则处理器56判断是否启用至少一个其他非生命安全特征(框S132)。如果判断没有启用至少一个其他非生命安全特征,则可以重复框S124的判断。可另选地,如果从过程中跳过或排除框S124并判断没有启用至少一个其他非生活方式特征,则可以重复框S128的判断,即,过程从框S132移动到框S128。如果处理器56判断已启用至少一个其他非生命安全特征,则处理器56禁用至少一个其他生活方式特征,使得非生命安全特征消耗较少的来自电源66的电能(框S134)。非生命安全特征被禁用的顺序可以基于设计需要和单个特征的电能消耗或其他准则而变化。
在禁用至少一个其他非生活方式特征之后,则可以重复框S124的判断。可另选地,如果从过程中跳过或排除框S124并在框S134已经禁用其他非生命安全特征,则可以重复框S128的判断,即,过程从框S134移动到框S128。电源管理过程通过结束或禁用诸如生活方式特征之类的不那么重要的特征或用户接口设备12上的其他非安全特征,来帮助确保比较重要或安全相关性较高的特征保持操作。可另选地,处理器56一次可以禁用一个以上的或所有生活方式特征。在一个实施例中,电源管理被配置并且电源66大小被调整,使得在发生触发条件(例如,电池电量低、传感器触发检测、从安全控制单元16接收到触发消息,等等)二十四小时之后,处理器56仍可以触发警报器64并使其发声达四分钟。
本发明可以以硬件、软件或硬件和软件的组合实现。适于执行此处所描述的方法的任何类型的计算系统或其他设备都适于执行此处所描述的功能。典型的硬件和软件的组合可以是具有一个或多个处理元件和存储在存储介质上的计算机程序的专门或通用计算机系统,当加载并执行该计算机程序时,控制计算机系统以便它执行此处描述的方法。本发明还可以嵌入在包括实现此处描述的方法的所有特点的计算机程序产品中,这种计算机程序产品在加载到计算系统中时,能够执行这些方法。存储介质是指任何易失性或非易失性存储器设备。
本上下文中的计算机程序或者应用程序是指以任何语言、代码或注释表达的一组指令的任何表达式,用于导致具有信息处理能力的系统直接或者在下列操作中的任何一种或两种操作都执行之后执行特定的功能:a)转换到另一种语言、代码或注释;b)以不同的材料形式再现。

Claims (8)
1.一种安全控制单元(16),包括:
支持多个无线通信协议的无线通信元件(32),所述无线通信元件(32)被配置为提供与用户接口设备(12)和至少一个建筑物设备(14)进行无线通信;
被配置为提供与远程监测中心(20)进行远程通信的远程通信元件(34);以及
建筑物电源(36),所述建筑物电源(36)被配置为向所述安全控制单元(16)提供电源;
后备电源(38),所述后备电源(38)被配置为在所述建筑物电源故障期间向所述安全控制单元(16)提供电源;以及
与所述无线通信元件和所述远程通信元件(34)进行通信的处理器(44),所述处理器被配置为:
使用所述无线通信元件(32)以与所述用户接口设备(12)进行通信以接收本地控制和配置数据;
使用所述远程通信元件(34)以与所述远程监测中心(20)进行与生命安全特征和生活方式特征中的至少一个相关联的数据的通信;
执行至少一个生命安全特征和至少一个生活方式特征;
监测所述建筑物电源(36);以及
当所述监测表明所述建筑物电源(36)的电源故障时,禁用被执行的所述至少一个生活方式特征并且使所述至少一个生命安全特征保持启用。
2.如权利要求1所述的安全控制单元,其中,所执行的至少一个生活方式特征包括执行多个生活方式特征;以及
所述禁用至少一个生活方式特征至少部分地基于电源故障的持续时间从所述多个生活方式特征中有选择地发生。
3.如权利要求1所述的安全控制单元,还包括存储器(46),所述存储器被配置为:
存储生命安全操作系统,所述生命安全操作系统被配置为提供与所述生命安全特征相关联的功能;
存储生活方式操作系统,所述生活方式操作系统被配置为提供与所述生活方式特征相关联的功能;以及
所述处理器(44)被进一步配置为在虚拟机配置中运行所述生命安全操作系统和生活方式操作系统。
4.如权利要求1所述的安全控制单元,其中,所述多个无线通信协议包括ZigBee协议、Z-Wave协议和Wi-Fi协议中的至少一个。
5.如权利要求1所述的安全控制单元,其中,所述远程通信至少由以太网通信链路、Wi-Fi通信链路和蜂窝通信链路中的至少一个提供。
6.如权利要求5所述的安全控制单元,其中,当所述以太网通信链路和Wi-Fi通信链路中的至少一个不可用时,所述蜂窝通信链路用于远程通信。
7.如权利要求1所述的安全控制单元,其中,所述用户接口设备(12)是小键盘、移动电话、平板电脑、个人计算机和膝上型计算机中的至少一个。
8.如权利要求1所述的安全控制单元,其中,所述建筑物设备(14)是传感器、视频摄像机和恒温器中的至少一个。
