Abstract

本发明提供一种导光板,包含一入光面、一位于该入光面邻侧的出光面、一第一导光结构,及一第二导光结构。该第一导光结构设置于该入光面,该第一导光结构具有多个第一半圆弧体,定义每一第一半圆弧体的圆心角为以及所述多个第一半圆弧体的加工比为R1。该第二导光结构设置于该出光面,该第二导光结构具有多个第二半圆弧体,定义每一第二半圆弧体的圆心角为以及所述多个第二半圆弧体的加工比为R2。因此,光均匀度及各角度的出光效率均可达到最佳化。

Description

导光板
本申请要求于2013年12月26日提交申请号为102148426、发明名称为“导光板”的中国台湾专利申请的优先权,其全部内容通过引用结合在本申请中。 
技术领域
本发明涉及平板显示技术领域,更具体的说是涉及一种导光板。 
背景技术
液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display;LCD)因具有高画质、体积小、重量轻、低驱动电压、与低消耗功率等优点,被广泛应用于个人数字助理(Personal Digital Assistant;PDA)、行动电话、摄录放影机、笔记型计算机、桌上型显示器、车用显示器、及投影电视等消费性通讯或电子产品。目前市场上常见的液晶显示器大部分为背光型液晶显示器,其主要是由位于前端的液晶显示面板以及位于后端的背光模块所组成,而背光模块依照入光方式不同可区分为侧光式入光(Edge Lighting)模块与直下式入光(Bottom Lighting)模块两种。以侧向式入光的背光模块而言,通常包含一导光板及多个位于导光板旁侧处的发光二极管,所述发光二极管所产生的点状光线,透过导光板转换成为均匀的面状发光,藉以作为液晶显示器所需的平面光源。 
目前液晶显示器已经逐渐朝向窄边框设计发展,若要符合窄边框的设计需求,导光板所能提供给发光二极管组件的混光距离势必较为不足,而容易在导光板邻近发光二极管组件处出现亮暗交替的光斑(hot spot)或喷射状光斑。为了改善所述光斑问题,在现有设计中有些是如图1、2所示在导光板1的入光面11或出光面12分别设置一导光结构13,每一导光结构13具有多个连续邻接的半圆弧形体131。另有些现有设计则是如图3所示在导光板2的入光面21设置由多个连续邻接的半圆弧形体231所构成的导光结构23,另于出光面22设置由多个连续邻接的三角形体241所构成的导光结构24。 
然而上述现有设计,经显微观察,光均匀度及各角度之出光效率仍未达 最佳化,存在需要再精进的空间。 
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的,在于提供一种光均匀度及各角度的出光效率可达最佳化的导光板。 
于是本发明导光板,包含一入光面、一位于该入光面邻侧的出光面、一第一导光结构,及一第二导光结构。该第一导光结构设置于该入光面,该第一导光结构具有多个第一半圆弧体,定义每一第一半圆弧体的圆心角为

以及所述多个第一半圆弧体的加工比为R1。该第二导光结构设置于该出光面,该第二导光结构具有多个第二半圆弧体,定义每一第二半圆弧体的圆心角为

以及所述多个第二半圆弧体的加工比为R2。 
本发明的有益效果为光均匀度及各角度的出光效率可达最佳化,因而能减少作为光源的发光二极管的使用数量,也能适用于较窄的背光模块之边框,避免发生光斑问题。

具体实施方式
在本发明被详细描述之前,要注意的是,在以下的说明内容中,类似的组件是以相同的编号来表示。 
参阅图4、5,为本发明导光板3的第一较佳实施例,包含一入光面31、一位于该入光面31邻侧的出光面32、一第一导光结构33,及一第二导光结构34。该第一导光结构33设置于该入光面31。该第一导光结构33具有多个呈连续邻接并置的第一半圆弧体331,定义每一第一半圆弧体331的圆心角为

以及该等第一半圆弧体331的加工比为R1。该第二导光结构34设置于该出光面32,该第二导光结构34具有多个呈连续邻接并置的第二半圆弧体341,定义每一第二半圆弧体341的圆心角为以及该等第二半圆弧体341的加工比为R2,而且每一第二半圆弧体341对应多个第一半圆弧体331;且所述加工比R1、R2,及圆心角满足下列关系式:

1.25×10-4<A×B<2.5×10-2。 
该导光板3藉由上述构造设计,可使导光板的光均匀度及各角度的出光效率达最佳化,因而能减少作为光源的发光二极管的使用数量,也能适用于较窄的背光模块的边框,避免发生光斑问题。 
特别说明的是,本实施例中对第一半圆弧体331与第二半圆弧体341的对应关系不做限定,也可以每一第一半圆弧体331对应多个第二半圆弧体341。 
参阅图6,为本发明导光板3的第二较佳实施例,本较佳实施例与第一较佳实施例大致相同,不同的地方在于多个第二半圆弧体341是呈间隔邻接并 置的,而所述第一半圆弧体331以多个为一组,同一组的多个第一半圆弧体331则呈连续邻接并置,一组第一半圆弧体331与其中一个第二半圆弧体341相对应。藉此同样能达到与第一较佳实施例相同的效果。 
特别说明的是,本实施例中对所述多个第一半圆弧体331与所述多个第二半圆弧体341的设置形态不做限定,例如多个第一半圆弧体331与多个第二半圆弧体341可以均呈间隔邻接并置,且第一半圆弧体331与第二半圆弧体341呈一对一相对应设置。如此同样能达到与第一较佳实施例相同的效果。 
参阅图7,为本发明导光板3的第三较佳实施例,本较佳实施例与第一较佳实施例大致相同,不同的地方在于多个第一半圆弧体331与多个第二半圆弧体341均呈连续邻接并置,且每一第一半圆弧体331对应多个第二半圆弧体341。藉此同样能达到与第一较佳实施例相同的效果。 
进一步说明本发明中所述的“加工比”,以图6所示的多个第一半圆弧体331为例,参阅图8,同一组的第一半圆弧体331与入光面31的接触长度为r1,两相邻组间之间距为r2,设若r1=0.8,r2=0.2时,第一半圆弧体331的加工比

又以图4所示的多个第一半圆弧体331为例,第一半圆弧体331与入光面31的接触长度为r1=1,r2=0,加工比

另外,以图6所示的多个第二半圆弧体341为例,参阅图9,假设每一第二半圆弧体341与出光面32的接触长度为r3=0.7,两相邻第二半圆弧体341间之间距为r4=0.3时,加工比

此外,设若r3=1,r4=0时,加工比R2=1,代表多个第二半圆弧体341是呈连续邻接并置的状态。也即如图4所示的多个第二半圆弧体341的设置。 
藉由上述构造设计,经侧向入光实验发现,当所述加工比R1、R2,及圆心角符合上述关系式时,不同参数搭配下在导光板的出光面所呈现的光场分布图样如图10至图22所示,图中P点代表光源所在处。 
当1.25×10-4<A×B<2.5×10-2,且A×B趋近于下限值(1.25×10-4)时,光场分布形态会如图10至图12所示渐趋于点状光源态样,光均匀度不佳。若是A×B 介于上、下限值之间时,光场分布形态如图13至图19所示呈现光场扩散渐层态样,光均匀度佳。又若A×B趋近于上限值(2.5×10-2),光场形态如图20至图22所示呈现向外喷射态样,光均匀度不佳。 
综上所述,本发明导光板3藉由上述构造设计,光均匀度及各角度的出光效率可达最佳化,因而能减少作为光源之发光二极管的使用数量,也能适用于较窄的背光模块的边框,避免发生光斑问题。故确实能达成本发明之目的。 
本说明书中各个部分采用递进的方式描述,每个部分重点说明的都是与其他部分的不同之处,各个部分之间相同相似部分互相参见即可。 
对所公开的实施例的上述说明,使本领域专业技术人员能够实现或使用本发明。对这些实施例的多种修改对本领域的专业技术人员来说将是显而易见的,本文中所定义的一般原理可以在不脱离本发明的精神或范围的情况下,在其它实施例中实现。因此,本发明将不会被限制于本文所示的这些实施例,而是要符合与本文所公开的原理和新颖特点相一致的最宽的范围。 

Claims (10)

1.一种导光板,其特征在于,包含:
一入光面;
一出光面,位于该入光面邻侧;
一第一导光结构,设置于该入光面,该第一导光结构具有多个第一半圆弧体,定义每一第一半圆弧体的圆心角为

以及所述多个第一半圆弧体的加工比为R1;
一第二导光结构,设置于该出光面,该第二导光结构具有多个第二半圆弧体,定义每一第二半圆弧体的圆心角为

8.如权利要求1或3或4所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述多个第一半圆弧体呈间隔邻接并置。
