本发明的焊机变压器，其特征在于铁芯为环状铁芯。环状铁芯是一个整环或者是由两个半环对接而成。所谓环状铁芯是指垂直其轴线的剖面的内、外轮廓线均首尾相接，且为圆滑过渡。本发明的焊机变压器，是由环状铁芯、一次线圈和二次线圈构成，其特征是二次线圈由芯杆、焊机外壳及其之间的软连接组成。芯杆和焊机外壳均具有冷却水空腔。其焊机外壳既是二次线圈，又是冷却水管，还是焊机的部分壳体。
本发明的焊机变压器具有结构简单、紧凑、合理、体积小、重量轻、低漏抗、铁损小、效率高等优点。

最佳实施例：双面单点焊机是由变压器8、定电极臂5、两个电极6、水管10、壳体9、电缆11和加压机构12组成。而变压器8是由圆环状铁芯1，一次线圈2和二次线圈组成。圆环状铁芯1系由两个半圆环状铁芯对接而成；一次线圈2系在圆环状铁芯1上绕制若干层漆包线而成；二次线圈系由均具有冷却水空腔的芯杆7和焊机外壳3及芯杆7与焊机外壳3之间的软连接4组成。
