Abstract

本发明提供一种RTP媒体数据的处理方法及设备。网关设备通过根据编解码协议的基本包打包时长和第一RTP净荷中的每个基本包的编码速率,确定每个上述基本包的大小,使得网关设备能够根据上述基本包打包时长和上述第一RTP净荷的打包时长,将上述第一RTP净荷拆分成上述至少一个基本包,并根据上述基本包打包时长和接收端设备可接收的RTP净荷的打包时长,将拆分成的上述至少一个基本包拼装成第二RTP净荷,并将包含上述第二RTP净荷的第二IP数据包发送给上述接收端设备,由于网关设备无需增加TC,从而节省了系统资源,降低了系统成本,解决了现有技术中由于网关设备增加了TC而导致的系统资源的浪费和系统成本的增加的问题。
