Abstract
本发明是有关于一种直下式背光模块改良结构,以供结合于一显示模块,所述直下式背光模块改良结构具有多个LED光源及一扩散板,所述多个LED光源成矩阵式排列,且其所射出的光于所述扩散板上分别成形为一矩形光形后,经所述扩散板传送至所述显示模块。如此,通过相互邻接分布的所述多个矩形光形即可提升混光效果,使改善所述背光模块的光均度,并优化所述显示模块的画面显示效果。
Description
技术领域
本发明是属于液晶显示器用的背光模块的技术领域,特别是关于一种直下式背光模块改良结构,以通过改变LED光源的成形光径分布形状,使提升混光效果而改善画面显示效果。
背景技术
由于液晶显示器是一种不具有自发光功能的被动式显示装置,故需加装背光模块以提供显示面板所需的显示光源,如此,背光模块产生的面光源是否具足够且均匀的亮度即直接影响液晶显示器的显示品质。目前,背光模块依其结构可分为侧光式及直下式(Direct Type Backlight)两种,其中,直下式背光模块因具有高光照均匀度、良好的出光视角、高光能利用率、简易的组装结构,及可快速微调画面区域明暗以大幅提升动态对比度等特点而广泛应用于大尺寸液晶显示器中。
又,LED具有发光效率高、寿命长及耗电量低等特性而成为背光模块的应用光源首选,如此,现有直下式背光模块是通过矩阵排列的方式将多个LED光源装设于一基板上,并以一适当距离将一扩散板(Diffusion Plate)覆盖于所述多个LED光源上,供以均匀分散各所述LED光源所发射光的光径,即混光后投射至显示面板上,以提供亮度均匀的面光源。然而,如图1所示,其为现有直下式背光模块于扩散板上的投射光形示意图,所述多个LED光源于所述扩散板上是分别成形为圆形光形1,以通过相互邻接的光照区域而获得全屏均匀的光照强度。
值得注意的是,所述多个圆形光形1间的邻接处是形成有相互交集的亮部10及无光照的暗部11,如此,将降低混光效果而影响光匀度,且液晶显示器变换画面中亮暗区域时将影响邻近画面区域的灰阶层次而造成微模糊(Blooming)现象,降低画面影像的清晰度及饱合度。故此,如何改善原LED光源的光形布局以改善混光效果,实为本技术领域所亟欲解决的问题。
发明内容
有鉴于现有技艺的问题,本发明的目的在于提供一种直下式背光模块改良结构,以通过改变LED的成形光形,使提升混光效果而改善画面影像的清晰度。
根据本发明的一目的,所述直下式背光模块改良结构是供以结合于一显示模块,所述直下式背光模块改良结构具有多个LED光源及一扩散板,所述多个LED光源所射出的光经所述扩散板后传送至所述显示模块,所述多个LED光源是成矩阵式排列,且所述多个LED光源所射出的光于所述扩散板上是分别成形为一矩形光形,且各所述矩形光形是呈相互邻接的分布。
为符合市场显示规格,各所述矩形光形是分别为相同大小的正方形。或者,所述显示模块的长宽比为16:9,各所述矩形光形是分别为相同大小的长方形,且各所述矩形光形是具有一长边与一短边,所述长边是平行所述显示模块的一垂直线,所述短边是平行所述显示模块的一水平线。
并且,各所述矩形光形是各所述LED光源经一封装胶体后一次光学折射所形成,且所述多个LED光源与所述显示模块间的距离L是符合1mm≦L≦40mm的关系式。或者,所述直下式背光模块改良结构更包含多个光形矩形化手段,是分别设于各所述LED光源与所述扩散板之间,使各所述LED光源经所述封装胶体后再经各所述光形矩形化手段而二次光学折射形成各所述矩形光形,且所述多个LED光源与所述显示模块间的距离L是符合2mm≦L≦50mm的关系式,以维持最佳光形并确保混光效果。
根据本发明的次一目的,所述直下式背光模块改良结构,供以结合于一显示模块,所述直下式背光模块改良结构具有多个LED光源及一扩散板,所述多个LED光源所射出的光经所述扩散板后传送至所述显示模块,所述扩散板具有多个光形矩形化手段,且所述光形矩形化手段是设于所述多个LED光源进入所述扩散板的入光面处,所述多个LED光源是成矩阵式排列,且所述多个LED光源所射出的光经所述多个光形矩形化手段后是分别成形为一矩形光形。
其中,所述多个光形矩形化手段为多个微透镜,且所述多个微透镜是成阵列方式设置。

请参阅图2、3,其分别为本发明一较佳实施例的结构剖视图及于扩散板上的投射光形示意图。如图所示,所述直下式背光模块改良结构2是供以结合于一显示模块(图未示),例如长宽比16:9的液晶显示器的显示面板而提供光源。所述直下式背光模块改良结构2具有一基板20、多个LED光源21及一扩散板22,所述多个LED光源21是成矩阵式排列置于所述基板20上,且所述扩散板22以一适当距离罩覆于所述多个LED光源21上,用以发散所述多个LED光源21所发射的光后传送至所述显示模块。所述多个LED光源21所射出的光于所述扩散板22上是分别成形为一矩形光形23,且各所述矩形光形23分别为相同大小的正方形并呈相互邻接的分布,以提升光均度而使所述直下式背光模块改良结构2呈现全屏均匀的辉度。
并且,为最佳化光形分布,所述直下式背光模块改良结构2可一并参考如图4所示,其为本发明次一较佳实施例的结构剖视图,使各所述LED光源21分别经一封装胶体210的一次光学折射后,形成各所述矩形光形23,且所述多个LED光源21与所述显示模块之间的距离L是符合1mm≦L≦40mm的关系式,以维持最佳光形并达均匀辐照光强度的功效。
或者,所述直下式背光模块改良结构2更可一并参考如图5所示,其为本发明再一较佳实施例的结构剖视图,利用多个光形矩形化手段,例如使所述多个LED光源21与所述显示模块间的距离L符合2mm≦L≦50mm的关系式,同时将多个微透镜24分别置于各所述LED光源21与所述扩散板22之间以套覆各所述LED光源21,使各所述LED光源21分别经所述封装胶体210后,再经各所述微透镜24进行二次光学折射而形成各所述矩形光形23。如此,通过所述多个光形矩形化手段即可进一步改善所述多个LED光源21的光径方向及照度分布,使形成较佳光形而提升所述显示模块的清晰度。
请一并参阅图6、7,其分别为本发明另一较佳实施例的结构剖视图及于扩散板上的投射光形示意图。如图所示,所述直下式背光模块改良结构2是供以用于液晶显示器中而提供照明光源予一显示模块(图未示),其具有一基板20、多个LED光源21及一扩散板22,且所述多个LED光源21成矩阵式排列置于所述基板20上并罩覆于所述扩散板22下,所述扩散板22具有多个光形矩形化手段,例如呈阵列方式设置的多个微透镜24,供以设于所述多个LED光源21进入所述扩散板22的入光面处,使所述多个LED光源21所射出的光经所述多个微透镜24进入所述扩散板22后,分别成形为一矩形光形23,使均匀混光后传送至所述显示模块以正常显示影像画面。
本实施例中,各所述矩形光形23是分别为相同大小的长方形,且各所述矩形光形23是具有一长边230与一短边231,所述长边230平行所述显示模块的一垂直线,所述短边231则平行所述显示模块的一水平线。如此,通过长方形的所述多个矩形光形23的紧密邻接分布,即可大幅提升所述显示模块的全屏光均度。
以上所述仅为举例性的较佳实施例,而非为限制性者。任何未脱离本发明的精神与范畴,而对其进行的等效修改或变更,均应包含于后附的申请专利范围中。
Claims (10)
1.一种直下式背光模块改良结构,供以结合于一显示模块,所述直下式背光模块改良结构具有多个LED光源及一扩散板,所述多个LED光源所射出的光经所述扩散板后传送至所述显示模块,其特征在于:
所述多个LED光源是成矩阵式排列,且所述多个LED光源所射出的光于所述扩散板上是分别成形为一矩形光形,且各所述矩形光形是呈相互邻接的分布。
2.根据权利要求1所述的直下式背光模块改良结构,其特征在于,各所述矩形光形是分别为相同大小的正方形。
3.根据权利要求1所述的直下式背光模块改良结构,其特征在于,各所述矩形光形是分别为相同大小的长方形,且各所述矩形光形是具有一长边与一短边,所述长边是平行所述显示模块的一垂直线,所述短边是平行所述显示模块的一水平线。
4.根据权利要求1所述的直下式背光模块改良结构,其特征在于,所述显示模块的长宽比为16:9。
5.根据权利要求1所述的直下式背光模块改良结构,其特征在于,各所述矩形光形是各所述LED光源经一封装胶体后一次光学折射所形成。
6.根据权利要求5所述的直下式背光模块改良结构,其特征在于,所述多个LED光源与所述显示模块间的距离L是符合1mm≦L≦40mm的关系式。
7.根据权利要求1至5其中任一项所述的直下式背光模块改良结构,其特征在于,更包含:多个光形矩形化手段,是分别设于各所述LED光源与所述扩散板之间,使各所述LED光源经所述封装胶体后再经各所述光形矩形化手段而二次光学折射形成各所述矩形光形。
8.根据权利要求7所述的直下式背光模块改良结构,其特征在于,所述多个LED光源与所述显示模块间的距离L是符合2mm≦L≦50mm的关系式。
9.一种直下式背光模块改良结构,供以结合于一显示模块,所述直下式背光模块改良结构具有多个LED光源及一扩散板,所述多个LED光源所射出的光经所述扩散板后传送至所述显示模块,其特征在于:
所述扩散板具有多个光形矩形化手段,且所述光形矩形化手段是设于所述多个LED光源进入所述扩散板的入光面处,所述多个LED光源是成矩阵式排列,且所述多个LED光源所射出的光经所述多个光形矩形化手段后是分别成形为一矩形光形。
10.根据权利要求9所述的直下式背光模块,其特征在于,所述多个光形矩形化手段为多个微透镜,且所述多个微透镜是成阵列方式设置。
