Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及结合当前在电视机上观看的内容向用户提供增强信息数据的领域。
背景技术
要解决的技术问题
在一个或多个装置或网络中组合来自广播源的内容以及来自基于互联网的连接的内容的混合电视和互联网环境中，增加的数量的信道和/或数据使得在没有描述内容的特定元数据的情况下难以实现对这些内容的管理和访问。元数据(元数据可以是服务信息表DVB-SI或专有数据流)在通过搜索机制或其它方法进行的内容索引和访问中有帮助。信息(诸如，内容标题和描述、频道名称以及隐藏式字幕(对白字幕)数据或电视电报)可随后被用于在互联网或云中搜索以获得与广播数据的内容相关的补充数据。
在我们的特定情况下，问题甚至更严重，因为需要针对两种内容源产生这些元数据并且组合这些元数据以执行高效搜索。
可对于实时内容、预定内容以及本地存储的内容执行搜索内容。
另外，如果接收器或机顶盒不具有上下文感知(即，不知道用户当前正在观看哪个频道(尤其是广播频道))，则在元数据中的搜索可能非常低效。
现今，通过在互联网源产生用于通过互联网分发网络分配的元数据以便描述全部内容并且允许搜索来解决该问题。这种方法的缺点在于：接收器变得缓慢并且低效，直至已从互联网检索到完整的元数据。
另一方法是把查询发送给服务器侧或云侧并在服务器中运行该查询，并且把获得的结果发送回去。
在由两个或更多的不同装置获取广播和互联网内容的一些特定情况下，全部元数据需要被发送给互联网连接的装置，而不知道终端用户有权从广播内容使用的上下文或内容类型。
当内容存储在本地时，可在本地创建描述内容的元数据或者从互联网连接检索元数据。
文件US2008/0183698描述了一种用于基于各种参数(诸如，当前播放的歌曲的元数据、当前用户的活动和外部信息)产生查询的方法。
查询还包含与在以上步骤中从其它源(诸如，本地网络上的装置)搜集的信息和/或来自外部源(诸如，互联网)的信息相互关联的附加信息。
发明内容
经典搜索方法包括使用由用户输入的信息在云中或者当搜寻本地信息时在本地执行搜索或者使用上下文信息满足查询请求。
本创新的原理在于：针对将要通过互联网或云执行的查询，把本地存储的信息和/或直接或间接从广播信号接收的信息的组合添加到用户的请求。
通过本地存储的信息，我们理解两种类型的信息，即由用户自己定义的用户的偏好和作为在以前用户活动期间收集的数据的用户的历史。
云应该被理解为多个互联网资源或服务。
本发明的目的在于通过一种经提供关于广播事件的附加信息来增强广播内容的方法来解决上述问题，该方法包括下述步骤：
-由电视接收器装置从广播源接收广播事件，
-提取与接收的广播事件相关的元数据，所述元数据包括关于广播事件的描述信息，
-从用户接收用于增强广播事件的命令，
-显示菜单，在菜单中至少一部分可用字段填充有从元数据提取的数据，
-接收用于发送请求的命令，
-准备请求消息，该请求消息包括从元数据提取的数据，
其特征在于，它还包括下述步骤：
-通过从本地数据库提取的本地数据来增强请求消息，这些本地数据至少包括用户的标识和用户的偏好，
-把请求消息发送给管理中心，
-接收与广播事件相关的增强数据，
-显示增强数据。
替代地，本地信息(和/或从广播信号获得的信息)能够被用于对来自云计算的结果进行后处理。
一旦用户希望接收关于当前广播的事件的更多信息，他能够简单地激活搜索功能并且对应的菜单窗口打开。
接收装置(机顶盒或电视机)的处理系统提取当前广播的元数据以预先满足该请求。利用向用户提出的显示一些用于搜索目的的字段的菜单准备请求消息。一些字段已经填充有当前事件的元数据，并且一些其它字段由用户完成。另外的字段可由引入在列表中选择的主题的用户选择。
一旦字段被完成，用户把请求消息发送给管理中心。在发送该消息之前，用户的装置添加至少用户的标识(至少用于把响应发送回来的地址)。这个请求消息还能够包含另外的信息，诸如由用户自己定义的用户的偏好和/或用户的历史。能够添加其它数据，诸如用户发出请求的频道的标识。
这个请求消息随后经互联网连接被从电视接收器装置发送给在预定义地址的管理中心。管理中心负责接收并处理从用户接收的请求消息以根据由用户进行的选择获得关于感兴趣的事件的另外的信息。管理中心响应于它们的请求访问各种数据库以检索预期的结果并把它们发送回至相关的用户。

图1显示连接到数据源的电视机，电视机利用遥控器和显示的菜单字段提供由用户请求的附加信息和事件。
具体实施方式
在初始化阶段期间，用户首先把偏好数据SD引入到连接到电视接收器装置TV（诸如连接到电视机的机顶盒或包括机顶盒的所有特征的电视机TV自身）的本地数据库DB中。这些偏好数据SD包括例如偏好的语言、偏好的感兴趣的区域或与用户相关的任何数据(诸如，其居住的国家、其当前位置、观看偏好等)。
数据库的另一部分填充有历史数据，诸如以前获取的按次付费电影、最多观看的频道、订阅包(即，体育包)，这些历史数据通过用户的实际使用而被更新。值得注意的是，电视接收器能够由多个用户共享。在这种情况下，数据库将会创建与用户的数量一样多的历史数据。在这种情况下，用户被请求表明自己身份以便例如应用家长控制。在由这个特定用户产生并发送请求的情况下，将会考虑初始化数据和这个用户的历史数据。
另一步骤是通过观看来自广播源BC的频道Ch3上的称为P12的广播事件BE来享受电视体验。已知：频道Ch3包括称为元数据MD的信息数据以及音频/视频数据，元数据MD包括例如当前广播的事件P12的简短描述。
用户按下遥控器RC上的特定按钮“获取更多信息”或“信息”或类似标志，遥控器RC把获取信息命令RQi发送给电视接收器装置TV，电视接收器装置TV在屏幕上显示包括菜单M的窗口。这个菜单M可包括已经填充的至少一个或多个字段以便避免在遥控器RC上的麻烦的打字。通过从从广播数据BE接收的元数据MD的提取提供如此显示的信息。
菜单字段可具有下面的类型中的至少一种类型或组合：
-具有预先填充的从元数据提取的条目的字段，诸如具有已经激活的复选框C1,…,Cn中的预先选择的选项的主题T1。可由用户通过选择/取消合适的条目来修改这些选择。
-字段T2，具有根据用户意愿进行选择的项目。这些项目能够是预定义的主题，诸如“人”、“场景”、“设置”、“发射”。这些项目帮助管理中心在正确方向聚焦搜索。
-用于插入自由文本FT(诸如，由用户输入的关键字)的字段。
除了这些字段T1、T2、FT之外，菜单M还可包含用于输入允许选择事件或安排事件(当前事件、以前事件或未来事件)的时间的命令Cmd的地方或字段。
除了已经填充的字段之外，窗口菜单M能够使用与事件的类型相关的关键字提出一些选择，例如，对于电影，诸如“演员表”、“场景”、“风景”…的关键字将会帮助更好地理解用户的需要。最后，用户可使用一些自由字段更多地指定请求。
由菜单上的按钮S激活的命令(S)“发送”允许电视接收器装置TV准备根据在菜单M上进行的用户选择形成的请求RQ消息。利用从本地数据库DB获取的预先存储的数据SD完成请求RQ消息。在电视接收器装置TV初始化阶段期间记录的这些数据包括用户偏好、用户标识和/或用户的历史。用户的标识可以具有接收器解码器地址的含义，所述接收器解码器地址可以是IP地址或网络地址。
请求RQ消息随后经双向通信信道被提交到管理中心MC，所述双向通信信道把电视接收器装置TV链接到所述管理中心MC。后者基于请求RQ消息在本地数据库中或者在分布在云CL中的提供商的各种远程数据库中执行搜索。
通过使用过滤器来进一步处理搜索结果，过滤器输出最有用的信息，所述最有用的信息包括与广播事件BE相关并且与用户的请求对应的增强数据ED。
管理中心MC以描述广播内容BE的人物、事实、目的、背景等的多个摘要的形式把增强数据ED发送回至用户的电视接收器装置TV。这些摘要包括至少文本或者文本与图形和/或照片的任何组合。每个摘要或者它的一部分可由用户选择以获取关于特定主题的更多信息或细节。可根据另一请求通过在初始请求RQ消息之后以类似方式由管理中心发送另外的数据来如此完成摘要自身。

Claims (13)

1.一种通过提供关于广播事件(BE)的附加信息来增强广播内容的方法，包括下述步骤：
-由电视接收器装置(TV)从广播源(BC)接收广播事件(BE)，
-从用户接收用于增强广播事件(BE)的命令(RQi)，然后
-提取与接收的广播事件(BE)相关的元数据(MD)，所述元数据(MD)包括关于广播事件(BE)的描述信息，
-准备请求(RQ)消息，该请求(RQ)消息根据由用户通过可显示的菜单(M)作出的用户选择而形成，
-把请求(RQ)消息发送给管理中心(MC)，
-接收与广播事件(BE)相关的增强数据(ED)，
-显示增强数据(ED)，
其特征在于：
-所述菜单(M)是响应于所述命令(RQi)而显示的，
-所述菜单(M)包括从元数据(MD)提取的具有预先填充的条目(C1，...，Cn)的字段(T1)、具有根据用户意愿进行选择的项目的字段(T2)和用于自由文本插入的字段(FT)的组合，并且所述请求消息是用所述组合形成的，
-所述请求(RQ)消息由从本地数据库(DB)提取的预先存储的本地数据(SD)来增强，这些预先存储的本地数据(SD)至少包括用户的标识和用户的偏好。
