发明内容

材料元件构造
图1-4C示出了材料元件10,其具有一对覆盖层20、多个第一条带部件30、和多个第二条带部件40。通常,覆盖层20协作地形成材料元件10的外表面或外皮,条带部件30和40被定位在覆盖层20之间。尽管第一条带部件30被大致固定至每个覆盖层20,第二条带部件40可不固定至覆盖层20。

各种材料可被用于条带部件30和40,包括各种发泡聚合物材料、非发泡聚合物材料、橡胶和硅树脂。用于条带部件30和40的适当的聚合物材料的例子(例如发泡或非发泡的)包括聚氨酯、乙烯基乙酸乙酯、聚酯、聚丙烯和聚乙烯泡沫。而且,热塑性和热固性聚合物泡沫材料都可被使用。在材料元件10的一些构造中,条带部件30和40可由具有变化密度的聚合物材料形成。即,第一条带部件可具有不同于第二条带部件40的密度。而且,条带部件30和40可由不同材料形成。做为实例,第一条带部件30可由具有相对较低密度的发泡聚合物材料形成,而第二条带部件40可由具有较高密度的橡胶材料形成。因此,各种材料和材料组合可被用于条带部件30和40。
上述材料元件10的构造赋予各种有用的或有利的特征。做为实例,材料元件10可沿不同方向具有不同的拉伸特性。参考图3,各个箭头11和12被示出。而箭头11大致平行于条带部件30和40,箭头12大致垂直于条带部件30和40。依赖于选择用于覆盖层20和条带部件30和40的材料,材料元件10的拉伸特性可沿箭头11和箭头12的不同方向而不同。在许多构造中,例如,材料元件10沿箭头12的方向比箭头11的方向拉伸更大的程度。做为另一实例,材料元件10可减弱冲击力以提供缓冲或保护。通过选择用于各条带部件30和40中的每个的厚度、材料和密度,冲击力缓冲的程度可在材料元件各处变化,以赋予期望程度的缓冲或保护。作为另一实例,材料元件10具有透气性(即呼吸性)、柔性、和较低的总质量。
其它材料元件构造

制造和模制过程

在该阶段,材料元件10具有图1-4C中所示的大致构造。但是,依赖于其中材料元件10被使用的应用,弯曲或其他非平面构造可为有利的,如图6F中所示。依赖于被选择用于覆盖层20和条带部件30和40的材料,热和压力的施加可足以给材料元件赋予弯曲或其他三维特征。例如,当条带部件30和40之一或二者包括热塑性材料时,加热和模制材料元件10然后冷却可赋予弯曲或其他三维特征。

图6F、9C和10C中所示的材料元件10的曲率被沿一方向取向,该方向垂直于条带部件30和40的长度。但是,依赖于材料元件10被在模制装置中的取向的方式,曲率也可被赋予与条带部件30和40的长度对应的方向。而且,可形成具有S形、正弦的或波状构造的多弯曲结构,以沿多个方向延伸的曲率。因此,实际上,材料元件10可被模制以具有各种形状。
衣服构造
材料元件10可被并入各种产品,包括各种衣服物品。除了缓冲冲击力,材料元件10还可同时提供拉伸性、透气性、柔性和相对较低的总质量中的一个或多个给衣服。附加地,材料元件10可被模制以符合衣服的穿戴者的形状。作为实例,衬衫61被在图11A中示出为包括六个材料元件10,其位于对应于穿戴者的肘部、肩部和侧部的位置中。当被穿着时,材料元件10可提供对于肘部、肩部和侧部的每个的保护。即,材料元件10可缓冲肘部、肩部和侧部上的冲击力。尽管衬衫61被示出为长袖衫,衬衫61可具有其它衬衫类型衣服的构造,包括例如短袖衫、吊带衫(tank top)、汗衫(undershirt)、夹克和外套。
各种技术可被用于把材料元件10并入衬衫61。例如,材料元件10可被缝缀或其它方式结合至其它材料形成衬衫61。在一些构造中,材料元件10可具有图1所示的构造,其中(a)下覆盖层20向外延伸超过条带部件30和40的周界且(b)上覆盖层20被绕条带部件30和40的周界缝缀以形成衬衫61的外表面的一部分。在该构造中,下覆盖层20可为形成衬衫61的一些部分的较大材料元件的部分。即,下覆盖层20可形成衬衫61的内表面,以及早期没有材料元件10的区域中的外表面。因此,材料元件10被并入衬衫61的方式可变化。
衬衫61可被用作压缩衣服。除了治疗用途,压缩衣服通常由运动员穿着做为运动衫或其他运动衣服之下的基层。通常,用作基层的压缩衣服或衣服(a)具有较紧的贴合性,其邻近穿戴者的皮肤且(b)拉伸以符合穿戴者的轮廓。而形成压缩衣服的织物材料可具有单向拉伸性(例如在拉断前拉伸超过百分之十),形成其它压缩衣服的织物材料具有拉断前至少百分之三十的两方向拉伸性。因此,当衬衫61被形成为具有较紧贴合性且拉伸以符合穿戴者的轮廓时,形成衬衫61的织物可具有拉断前至少百分之三十的两方向拉伸性。而且,将衬衫61形成为压缩衣服的优点是,材料元件10紧邻穿戴者的皮肤且较紧的材料导致材料元件10弯曲为穿戴者的形状。
参考图11B,裤子62被示出为在与穿戴者的膝部对应的位置处包括材料元件10。而被穿戴时,材料元件10可提供对膝部的保护。除了位于衣服的膝部区域,材料元件10还可位于其它区域。参考图11C,短裤63被示出为在臀部和大腿区域具有四个材料元件10。如衬衫61一样,短裤63要被用作压缩衣服。
除了衬衫型衣服和裤子型衣服,材料元件10可被并入覆盖穿戴者的其它区域的衣服,例如帽子、头盔、护套、鞋、袜和手套等。例如,具有材料元件10的护套64被示出在图11D中。护套64具有大致圆柱形构造,其可被布置在穿戴者的臂部或腿部。例如当穿戴者的肘部疼痛或受伤时,材料元件10可位于肘部上以辅助在运动过程中保护肘部。例如,具有材料元件10的护套65被示出在图11D中。袜衬65可位于鞋类物品内,以缓冲脚的下表面(即脚底)。另外,一个或多个材料元件10可被并入手套66,如图11F所示,以保护穿戴者的手(即,缓冲冲击力)。
鞋构造

鞋底结构71被固定至鞋帮72且当鞋70被穿着时在脚和地面之间延伸。通常,鞋底结构71可具有传统的或非传统的构造。鞋帮72提供用于牢固地和舒适地接收脚的结构。更特别地,鞋帮72的各个元件,包括材料元件10,通常在鞋70内限定空穴用于接收和相对于鞋底结构71固定脚。鞋帮72内的空穴的表面被设置形状以容纳脚且在脚的脚背和脚趾区域上、沿脚的外侧和内侧(medial and lateral sides of the foot)、在脚下、绕脚的脚跟区域延伸。鞋帮72的大部分可由材料元件10形成。参考图13,例如,材料元件10形成鞋帮72的外表面的一部分,以及鞋帮72的相对内表面(即,限定鞋帮30内的空穴的表面)。

基于上述讨论,制造鞋70的方法通常包括通过把多个条带部件30和40布置在覆盖层20之间使得每个条带部件30和40具有平面构造而形成材料元件10。材料元件10被并入鞋帮72,其被绕鞋楦83布置。热和压力被施加至材料元件10以(a)在鞋楦83的外表面上挤压条带部件30和40以及覆盖层20和(b)模制条带部件30和40以及覆盖层20以具有非平面构造,该非平面构造对应于鞋楦83的外表面的形状。
其它产品构造
材料元件10可被用在除了衣物以外的产品中(例如衬衫、裤子、手套、鞋)。参考图17A,垫子91被示出为主要由材料元件10形成。垫子91可被用在例如瑜伽过程中或做为野营垫以提供在地面上坐卧的舒适表面。材料元件10还可并入椅子92中,如图17B所示,用于提供坐下的舒适位置。类似地,材料元件10可被并入靠垫中,其可被放置在椅子上或例如运动场所的露天座位上。而且,材料元件10可并入背包93中,如图17C所示,用于提供对穿戴者的后背的缓冲。因此,各种构造的材料元件10可被并入多种产品中。
本发明在上面且在参考各个结构的附图中被披露。但是本披露内容的目的是要提供与本发明相关的概念和各个特征,不是要限制本发明的范围。本领域技术人员应认识到,可对上述构造进行各种变化和修正而不偏离如所附权利要求限定的本发明的范围。

Claims (33)

1.一种材料元件,包括:
第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层;
位于第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层之间的多个第一条带部件,第一条带部件被固定至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,且第一条带部件的部分被彼此隔开;和
位于第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层之间的多个第二条带部件,第二条带部件不被固定至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,且第二条带部件位于第一条带部件之间。
2.如权利要求1所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件的厚度大于第二条带部件的厚度。
3.如权利要求1所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件和第二条带部件中的每个都具有波状构造的边缘。
4.如权利要求1所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件由聚合物泡沫材料形成。
5.如权利要求4所述的材料元件,其中,第二条带部件由具有大于所述聚合物泡沫材料的密度的材料形成。
6.如权利要求1所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件由热塑性聚合物泡沫材料形成,该热塑性聚合物泡沫材料被热结合至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层。
7.如权利要求1所述的材料元件,其中,第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层中的至少一个由织物形成。
8.如权利要求1所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件的端部区域被彼此连接。
9.如权利要求1所述的材料元件,其中,材料元件被并入衣服物品。
10.如权利要求9所述的材料元件,其中,该衣服物品是鞋。
11.一种材料元件,包括:
第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层中的至少一个由织物形成;
多个第一条带部件,其位于第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层之间且由聚合物泡沫材料形成,第一条带部件被固定至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,第一条带部件的边缘具有非线性构造,且第一条带部件具有沿从第一覆盖层延伸至第二覆盖层的方向的第一厚度;和
多个第二条带部件,其位于第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层之间且由聚合物材料形成,第二条带部件不被固定至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,第二条带部件位于第一条带部件之间,第二条带部件的边缘具有与第一条带部件的边缘匹配的非线性构造,且第二条带部件具有沿从第一覆盖层延伸至第二覆盖层的方向的第二厚度,第一厚度大于该第二厚度。
12.如权利要求11所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件的聚合物泡沫材料是热塑性聚合物泡沫材料,第一条带部件被热结合至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层。
13.如权利要求11所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件的聚合物泡沫材料具有小于第二条带部件的聚合物材料的密度。
14.如权利要求11所述的材料元件,其中,第一条带部件的端部区域被彼此连接。
15.如权利要求11所述的材料元件,其中,材料元件被并入衣服物品。
16.一种衣服物品,包括:
第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,第一覆盖层形成衣服的外表面的至少一部分;
位于第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层之间的多个第一条带部件,第一条带部件被固定至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,且第一条带部件由聚合物泡沫材料形成;和
位于(a)第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层以及(b)第一条带部件之间的多个第二条带部件,第二条带部件不被固定至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层,且第二条带部件由聚合物材料形成。
17.如权利要求16所述的衣服物品,其中,第二覆盖层形成衣服的内表面的至少一部分。
18.如权利要求16所述的衣服物品,其中,第一条带部件的厚度大于第二条带部件的厚度。
19.如权利要求16所述的衣服物品,其中,第一条带部件和第二条带部件中的每个都具有非线性构造的边缘。
20.如权利要求16所述的衣服物品,其中,第一条带部件的聚合物泡沫材料具有小于第二条带部件的聚合物材料的密度。
21.如权利要求16所述的衣服物品,其中,第一条带部件的聚合物泡沫材料是热塑性聚合物泡沫材料,其被热结合至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层。
22.一种衣服物品,包括:
第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层;和
多个细长条带部件,其位于第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层之间,条带部件的边缘具有彼此匹配的非线性构造,条带部件的至少一部分包括热塑性聚合物材料,该热塑性聚合物材料被热结合至第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层。
23.如权利要求22所述的衣服物品,其中,第一覆盖层形成衣服的外表面的至少一部分。
24.如权利要求23所述的衣服物品,其中,第二覆盖层形成衣服的内表面的至少一部分。
25.如权利要求22所述的衣服物品,其中,条带部件的第一部分具有第一厚度,条带部件的第二部分具有第二厚度,第一厚度大于第二厚度。
26.如权利要求25所述的衣服物品,其中,条带部件的该第一部分具有第一密度,条带部件的该第二部分具有第二密度,第一密度小于第二密度。
27.如权利要求22所述的衣服物品,其中,第一覆盖层和第二覆盖层中的至少一个由织物形成。
28.一种制造衣服物品的方法,该衣服物品具有鞋的构造,该方法包括:
把多个聚合物条带部件定位在一对覆盖层之间,每个条带部件具有平面构造;
把条带部件和覆盖层绕鞋楦布置;
施加压力和热量至条带部件和覆盖层,以(a)将条带部件和覆盖层压抵鞋楦的外表面和(b)模制条带部件和覆盖层以具有对应于鞋楦的外表面的形状的非平面构造;和
固定覆盖层和条带部件中的至少一个至鞋的鞋底结构。
29.如权利要求28所述的方法,其中,所述定位步骤包括形成第一组条带部件以具有大于第二组条带部件的厚度。
30.如权利要求28所述的方法,其中,所述定位步骤包括形成条带部件以具有波状构造的边缘。
31.如权利要求28所述的方法,其中,所述定位步骤包括(a)由热塑性聚合物泡沫材料形成第一组条带部件和(b)由具有大于该热塑性聚合物泡沫材料的密度的聚合物材料形成第二组条带部件。
32.如权利要求28所述的方法,其中,所述定位步骤包括由织物形成覆盖层中至少一个。
33.如权利要求28所述的方法,其中,所述固定步骤包括定位一个覆盖层以形成鞋的外表面的至少一部分。
