本发明提供一种彩膜基板、液晶面板及液晶显示装置,属于液晶显示领域。所述液晶面板包括阵列基板、彩膜基板以及形成在阵列基板与彩膜基板之间的液晶层,其中:所述阵列基板面对所述彩膜基板的一侧形成有多个交替排布的第一像素电极和第一公共电极;所述彩膜基板面对所述阵列基板的一侧形成有多组电极结构,每组电极结构包括一第二像素电极和一第二公共电极,且每组电极结构中的第二像素电极和第二公共电极对称分布在第一像素电极或第一公共电极在所述彩膜基板上的正投影的两侧。本发明能够提高液晶面板的透过率。

一种彩膜基板、液晶面板及液晶显示装置
技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示领域,特别涉及一种彩膜基板、液晶面板及液晶显示装置。
背景技术
根据驱动液晶的电场方向,液晶显示装置分为垂直电场型液晶显示装置和水平电场型液晶显示装置。垂直电场型液晶显示装置主要包括扭曲向列(TN)模式和垂直取向(VA)模式,水平电场型液晶显示装置主要包括共平面切换(IPS)模式、边界电场切换(FFS)模式和高级超维场开关(ADS)模式。相对于垂直电场型液晶显示装置,水平电场型液晶显示装置不需要额外的光学补偿膜,即能实现宽视角。但是,对于水平电场型液晶显示装置,其液晶层中的电场分布不均匀,存在电场未覆盖的局部区域,该局部区域不能透光,从而导致液晶面板的整体透过率不高。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供一种彩膜基板、液晶面板及液晶显示装置,以提高液晶面板的透过率。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明提供技术方案如下:
一种液晶面板,包括阵列基板、彩膜基板以及形成在阵列基板与彩膜基板之间的液晶层,其中:
所述阵列基板面对所述彩膜基板的一侧形成有多个交替排布的第一像素电极和第一公共电极;
所述彩膜基板面对所述阵列基板的一侧形成有多组电极结构,每组电极结构包括一第二像素电极和一第二公共电极,且每组电极结构中的第二像素电极和第二公共电极对称分布在第一像素电极或第一公共电极在所述彩膜基板上的正投影的两侧。
上述的液晶面板,其中:在所述彩膜基板上的相邻两组电极结构中,所述第二像素电极和所述第二公共电极的排布顺序相反。
上述的液晶面板,其中:所述电极结构中的第二像素电极与第二公共电极之间的距离小于,相邻的第一像素电极和第一公共电极之间的距离。
上述的液晶面板,其中:
所述第一像素电极、第二像素电极、第一公共电极和第二公共电极的电极宽度为2~3μm;

与现有技术相比,本发明除了在阵列基板上形成像素电极和公共电极之外,还在彩膜基板上形成像素电极和公共电极,液晶层中除了有由阵列基板上的像素电极与公共电极产生的主要电场分布之外,还有由彩膜基板上的像素电极与公共电极产生的辅助电场分布,该辅助电场分布补偿和加强了液晶层中的水平电场,能够形成液晶层的均匀的电场分布,从而能够提高液晶面板的透过率。

具体实施方式
为使本发明的目的、技术方案和优点更加清楚,下面将结合附图及具体实施例对本发明进行详细描述。
参照图3,根据现有的水平电场型液晶面板的结构,其像素电极a和公共电极b形成在阵列基板1上,在彩膜基板2上没有形成电极结构。从图3中可以看出,在施加电压后,在像素电极a和公共电极b之间会形成水平电场4,而在像素电极a和公共电极b的上方区域没有形成电场,这样,该上方区域的液晶分子不能发生旋转,光线通过该区域时没有产生相位延迟,在液晶面板的上下偏振片的作用下,该区域的光线不能透过液晶面板,导致液晶面板的整体的透过率不高。一般而言,该种结构的液晶面板的透过率最大为70%左右。
为解决上述问题,本发明实施例提供了一种液晶面板,除了在阵列基板上形成像素电极和公共电极之外,还在彩膜基板上形成像素电极和公共电极,液晶层中除了有由阵列基板上的像素电极与公共电极产生的主要电场分布之外,还有由彩膜基板上的像素电极与公共电极产生的辅助电场分布,该辅助电场分布补偿和加强了液晶层中的水平电场,能够形成液晶层的均匀的电场分布。该种结构的液晶面板的透过率最小也能达到70%以上,最大能达到90%左右。
参照图1,本发明实施例的液晶面板包括,阵列基板1、彩膜基板2以及形成在阵列基板与彩膜基板之间的液晶层(图未示),其中:
所述阵列基板1面对所述彩膜基板2的一侧形成有多个交替排布的第一像素电极a和第一公共电极b;
所述彩膜基板2面对所述阵列基板1的一侧形成有多组电极结构3,每组电极结构3包括一第二像素电极c和一第二公共电极d,且每组电极结构3中的第二像素电极c和第二公共电极d对称分布在第一像素电极a或第一公共电极b在所述彩膜基板2上的正投影的两侧。
优选地,在上述液晶面板中,相邻两组电极结构3的第二像素电极c和第二公共电极d的排布顺序相反。例如,在第一组电极结构3中,第二像素电极c位于第二公共电极d的左侧,在第二组电极结构3中,第二像素电极c位于第二公共电极d的右侧。这样,就能够使得辅助电场只是分布在第一像素电极a和第一公共电极b的上方区域。
优选地,所述电极结构3中的第二像素电极c与第二公共电极d之间的距离y小于,相邻的第一像素电极a和第一公共电极b之间的距离x。
例如,第一像素电极a、第二像素电极c、第一公共电极b和第二公共电极d的电极宽度为2~3μm;电极结构3中的第二像素电极c与第二公共电极之间d的距离为2~5μm;相邻的第一像素电极a和第一公共电极b之间的距离为5~10μm。彩膜基板上第二像素电极c和第二公共电极d形成的辅助电场位于阵列基板上的第一像素电极或第一公共电极的正上方,可以对阵列基板的主水平电场起到辅助作用。其中,第一公共电极a和第二公共电极c的电压可以是固定的,第一像素电极b和第二像素电极d根据显示的灰度值而调节为例如0~20V。
根据本发明实施例的上述液晶面板,如图2所示,当需要进行显示时,施加电压到所述第一像素电极a、第一公共电极b、第二像素电极c和第二公共电极d,所述第一像素电极a和第一公共电极b之间会形成主要的水平电场4,所述第二像素电极c和第二公共电极d之间会形成辅助的水平电场5,且辅助的水平电场5形成在第一像素电极a和第一公共电极b的上方区域。这样,就在液晶层形成了均匀的电场分布,该均匀的电场分布基本能够使得像素区域的液晶分子都发生旋转,光线通过液晶层时的相位延迟值增加,从而提高了液晶面板的透过率。
本发明实施例的有益效果可以通过对比图2和图3看出。在图3中,第一像素电极a和第一公共电极b上方由于没有电场分布,因此透过率较低,在图2中,第一像素电极a和第二公共电极b上方形成有辅助的水平电场5,因此透过率得到了提高。
另外,本发明实施例还提供一种显示装置,该显示装置包括上述实施例的液晶面板。所述显示装置可以为:液晶面板、电子纸、液晶电视、液晶显示器、数码相框、手机、平板电脑等具有任何显示功能的产品或部件。

所述彩膜基板面对所述阵列基板的一侧形成有多组电极结构,每组电极结构包括一第二像素电极和一第二公共电极,且每组电极结构中的第二像素电极和第二公共电极对称分布在第一像素电极或第一公共电极在所述彩膜基板上的正投影的两侧。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶面板,其特征在于:
在所述彩膜基板上的相邻两组电极结构中,所述第二像素电极和所述第二公共电极的排布顺序相反。
3.如权利要求1所述的液晶面板,其特征在于:
所述电极结构中的第二像素电极与第二公共电极之间的距离小于,相邻的第一像素电极和第一公共电极之间的距离。
